Went to try their Valentine’s lunchtime set and really enjoyed the experience. The savory dishes were excellent — well balanced, refined, and definitely the highlight for me. The tea selection was beautiful, very aromatic and calming, you can really tell they put thought into it. Desserts came in very generous portions (almost too generous 😄) — not complaining, just be prepared! The scones were really good, warm and comforting. I just wished there was a bit more cream and black tea jam to go with them (would’ve made it perfect). Also, the staff were lovely, and special mention to Vam, who took great care of us — attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at Capella Bangkok. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout our visit. The rooms are beautiful, with breathtaking views that truly elevate the entire experience. Waking up to that view was one of the highlights of our stay. We also had the pleasure of meeting Alex, the training manager, who was exceptional. He is clearly on top of every detail — professional, friendly, and incredibly hospitable. His presence made a lasting impression. The food was outstanding — truly amazing and one of the highlights of the stay. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would happily return.

We stayed at the hotel with one dog. Overall, we were impressed by the beautiful room view and the excellent service provided by the Front Office staff. The reception team was welcoming, friendly, and demonstrated outstanding service mind throughout our stay. The guest room itself was very impressive, offering a beautiful view, along with thoughtful pet amenities such as a dog bed and food bowls. However, the outdoor area designated for dogs was relatively small compared to other pet-friendly luxury hotels, particularly Four Seasons Bangkok. During check-in, we asked the staff about the areas within the hotel where dogs were permitted. Unfortunately, the staff member was unable to provide an answer immediately and had to consult with another colleague first. Later, around 5 PM, we visited the lobby lounge for snacks and beverages and asked whether our dog could sit with us there. Again, the staff member was unable to answer directly and needed to ask another colleague for clarification. This gave us the impression that although the hotel promotes itself as pet-friendly, some staff members may not yet have sufficient knowledge regarding pet policies and guest procedures. Regarding the hotel’s dining experience, we visited Pranakorn Restaurant, which has received two Michelin stars. There was a visible “Dog Not Allowed” sign at the restaurant; however, when we asked the staff, we were informed that dogs were actually allowed if kept inside a stroller. We found this information somewhat inconsistent and potentially confusing for guests. We ordered four dishes during dinner, but unfortunately, the food was excessively salty overall, especially the stir-fried lotus stem with shrimp, which was not enjoyable for us. Nevertheless, the restaurant staff at Pranakorn provided professional and attentive service throughout the meal, which we appreciated. As for breakfast, we were informed that service ended at 10:30 AM. We arrived around 10:10 AM and were seated outdoors. A female staff member informed us that last order would be taken within 10 minutes and that we could remain seated only until 10:30 AM. Her facial expression and tone of voice did not appear welcoming and lacked the level of hospitality expected from a luxury hotel. In contrast, a male staff member in a suit later approached us politely and informed us that we could stay until 11:45 AM, which created a noticeably different guest experience. Despite this issue, the breakfast quality itself was excellent and very enjoyable. Finally, we would highly recommend that the hotel clearly communicate all pet-friendly policies and guidelines to guests and ensure that all staff members are properly trained regarding pet-related procedures and information. This would greatly improve consistency in service standards and enhance the overall guest experience. In conclusion, we were most impressed by the Front Office team, the beautiful room view, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel.

Capella Bangkok is everything we have expected of a hotel of this calibre. The staff were exceptionally warm, polite and professional from the moment we arrived. Even though we were only there for a short stay as part of our honeymoon, the care and attention shown to us were truly exceptional. From the moment we entered our room, it was clear how much thought had gone into every detail, from the beautiful presentation to the thoughtful personalised touches that made us feel genuinely welcomed. The location felt wonderfully quiet and private, creating a calm and intimate atmosphere that was perfect for our honeymoon. The food was incredible and an evening at Stella Bar was one of the highlight of our stay, the live singer created a beautiful ambience and the drinks were exceptional. We had a delightful and unforgettable experience and would absolutely return in the future. Thank you Capella Bangkok, for making our stay so special.

My wife and I arrived in Bangkok after a long journey from the United States. We went to our room tired and excited for our adventures in Thailand. The staff greeted us and made us feel as though we were royalty. They were extremely gracious and brought us to a beautiful room. It felt luxurious and well appointed. The view was beautiful, overlooking the river. We dined at Phra Nakhon and had a lovely tasting menu paired with wine. We finished our evening at Stella, listening to live music and s few cocktails. The atmosphere was very high end yet comfortable. The accommodations were luxurious and still warm and welcoming. The service was impeccable. We highly recommend the Capella .
