We ( Olanka Travels) had a hotel inspection and night stay in Cinnamon Citadel... We had the best and the warmest welcome from them ... Strating from , Ms.Srimali... She was a such a beautiful soul... welcoming us and support us to do the inspection and take care of what we need.. and Ms.Amanda .. even though the hotel is fully occupied, she still support us for the inspection and took care of us .. and Ms.Dinushi and Ms.Nanjini... They took care of everything whenever we wanted their support. I should say this is one of the best night stay that we had. The rooms are super clean.. washrooms are super clean, service is excellent. I should mention that Our Room Boy Mr.Sandun was a gentleman and very kind person. The room arrangements were super cool and clean.. we loved our stay so much We appreciate their hospitality and looking forward to come again for this kind of memorable stays We will always recommend the property with confidence for anyone who wants to have a beautiful stay. This was the warmest and most authentic stay i have ever had in my life, having travelled hundreds of times all over the world. The landscapes are amazing, hotel layout and modern architecture is just amazing. What we loved most was the staff, amazingly warm, attentive and just ready to make you happy. We stayed there only for 36 hours, but by the time of departure many of them had know my daughters names and became friends with them. The most reassuring was when my daughters had a water burn accident while using the kettle, two staff members came over to make sure we did not need anything. I felt at home thousands of miles away. I would like to mention 2 amazing staff members: Srimali who was absolutely amazing in everything (she was one of the two ladies checking on us upon the accident). I can not thank her enough for her hospitality. The second staff is Chef Rukshan and his team, with who we had an amazing cooking workshop. He was knowledgeable and so authentic. Also i want to mention that hotel staff seemed to be happy, which makes them serve people better. They were collegial with each other, many of them seem to be from local community.

Had an excellent time at Cinnamon Hotel Kandy, the hospitality and service is second to none. Fantastic array of sumptuous food. Love the way the staffs handled to our needs, special thanks to Sasi/Danushka/Charith/Nanjini/Dinushi/Amanda. They had been great and excellent with their service and very cordial. Also, not forgetting the staffs at Chutney, as the Manager/Rohan and other staffs were at their very best. All in all a beautiful and very satisfying experience at the hotel especially the staffs who are the heart of the operations.

WE recently had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Cinnamon Citadel Kandy, and it was truly a memorable experience from arrival to departure. The hotel's stunning location along the Mahaweli River provides breathtaking river views and a peaceful atmosphere that perfectly captures the beauty of Kandy. Waking up to the serene river scenery and enjoying the calm surroundings made the stay exceptionally relaxing. A special appreciation goes to the Front Office team – Nanjani, Amanda, and Roshan – for their warm welcome, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Their friendly approach and willingness to assist with every request ensured a smooth and comfortable stay. The room experience was equally impressive, thanks to Layan, who maintained the room to a very high standard. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-prepared, allowing us to fully enjoy our stay. The Food & Beverage experience was outstanding. Fadil, Nissanka, Sanjeewa, and Ashini provided exceptional service throughout our dining experiences. Their attentiveness, friendliness, and dedication to guest satisfaction made every meal enjoyable. The quality and variety of the food were excellent, and the team's hospitality added a personal touch that was greatly appreciated. Overall, Cinnamon Citadel Kandy exceeded expectations in every aspect. The combination of spectacular river views, comfortable accommodation, delicious cuisine, and outstanding service from the entire team made this a truly remarkable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kandy and look forward to returning in the future.

Great location and delicious food. Most of the staff were very professional and welcoming. I forgot to get the name of one of the chefs at the dinner buffet, but he came over to ask what my baby preferred to eat. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture, and I truly appreciated his care. A special thanks as well to AMFOH, who was very kind and attentive throughout our stay. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to visiting again.
