Due to unusually bad weather and flooded roads we had to stay for an additional night at the Cinnamon Citadel instead of the planned 2 nights.The hotel was very accommodating. It is very clean and comfortable and the food is excellent. The staff are always cheerful and polite and very keen to help you in anyway. My housekeeper, Ajith, kept my room clean and well stocked and he cheerfully greeted me whenever I saw him. He provided me with extra coffee when I needed it and slippers when he saw that my shoes were wet. The service in the restaurant was excellent and I want to mention Sasi who served us endless coffee this morning with a smile and a joke.

I stayed at cinnamon citadel kandy on november 29-30 and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, peaceful surrounding, and very comfortable room. A special mention goes to Yugan Vimukthi who provided excellent and friendly service throughout our stay. His warm attitude professionalism and helpful nature really made a difference and made us feel truly welcomed. The entire staff was kind and attentive, the food was delicious. Highly recommend cinnamon citadel kandy for anyone visiting kandy. Will definitely come back again.

I recently stayed at Cinnamon Citadel in Kandy and had a wonderful experience overall. I went there with my husband for our 2nd year anniversary. The day we went we were able to witness the Christmas cake mixing event. It was a new experience for me and I loved it. The hotel is exceptionally clean, calm, and very quiet—perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind during a vacation. Our room was well-equipped with all the necessary facilities, and the bathroom had every essential item provided. We booked a river-view room, and waking up to such a peaceful view made the stay even more enjoyable. The buffet was delicious, and I especially liked the variety available for dinner. However, the breakfast buffet could include a bit more variety. Apart from that, the overall dining experience was pleasant. Cinnamon Citadel is an ideal getaway for anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing stay in Kandy. I would definitely recommend it and would happily return.

We have never been dissatisfied at a Cinnamon property and Citadel also delivered the best service during our family stay. Front office team was so welcoming and check in was so fast though we arrived bit early before our check in time. Rooms are well maintained , has a scenic view and very comfortable. BuBuffet spread was great and even my toddlers were able eat from the buffet. And chef and the restaurant staff were kind checked specially on our kids meal preferrances. Speacial shout out to Kumara the pool attendant and sajini from FO, and nissanka from restaurant staff for their exceptional service. We will definitely be back.
