Tuck into mouth-wateringly fresh seafood in this laid-back, modern restaurant. With stunning views on either side of the river and the ocean, it’s a perfect setting for a romantic meal for two. Flavours are a zesty mix of Sri Lankan specialities, and the restaurant is open for dinner only.

Suan Bua

Featuring an irresistible menu of Thai home cooking with a Sri Lankan twist, Suan Bua offers dining in a wonderfully relaxing environment. Try a refreshing spicy green mango salad, or a warming rich smooth curry. There’s a tasty list of vegetarian options available. Suan Bua is open for dinner only.

The hotel is absolutely amazing, and the people are incredibly kind. The hotel is safe, comfortable, clean, and very enjoyable. I regret not being able to extend my stay. I recommend everyone book without even looking at the price. I want to thank all the staff from the bottom of my heart for their kindness and wonderful service, especially Nadisha, Khalidu, Pathum, and Daham also The man who works at the souvenir shop is very nice. The Highlight: More Space Than Expected The stay was a huge win, mostly because the hotel actually over-delivered on the room. I asked for a triple with a child supplement, and instead of just squeezing an extra bed in, they gave us two full double rooms. That kind of breathing room is rare and made a massive difference for the family. Vibes & Atmosphere: • The Pool: Honestly one of the best parts. It’s huge, super clean, and the morning Aqua sessions were a great way to start the day. • The Turtle Release: Even though the hotel doesn't run it, being so close to the beach for the turtle release was incredible. Seeing the look on my kid’s face while releasing them at sunset—that’s the kind of memory that stays with you. It’s just a short walk away, but it made the whole trip. The Verdict on Food & Service: The staff are great and the place itself is lovely. The food is "fine," but if I’m being honest, the buffet could use more variety. It’s good quality, but after a couple of days, you start wishing there were a few more options to choose from. Overall: It’s a great spot. Between the spacious rooms, the clean pool, and those sunset beach vibes, it’s a solid choice—just hope for a slightly bigger spread at breakfast next time!

We stayed at NH Bentota Ceysands Resort for a night stay, quite unexpectedly, as it was a last-minute check-in due to another matter. Despite the short notice, the experience turned out to be a very pleasant one. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always willing to assist with anything we needed. Dining at Café BEM, the resort’s restaurant, was amazing. The food was delicious, with a generous spread and the team was more than happy to accommodate our customized requests. They even arranged a lovely surprise birthday cake cutting during dinner for our son, which made the evening quite memorable. A special mention goes to Ms Shashini, who coordinated everything on our behalf with great care and attention. During the one-day stay, we also managed to enjoy a relaxing boat ride through the mangroves at a very reasonable rate, a simple but worthwhile experience. There are also other water sports and recreational activities that resident guests can enjoy. Overall, the room was cosy, the food was tasty and the service was warm and attentive. For an unplanned stay, it turned out to be a genuinely enjoyable experience.

We visited Ceysands Resort at NH Bentota for a corporate outing with my colleagues and had an excellent experience. The food and all the services were top-notch. Special thanks to Mrs. Hansani at reception — she welcomed us warmly, gave us excellent service during check-in, and looked after our hospitality until check-out.
