We recently stayed at Thala Resort in Bentota, and it was a wonderful experience. We had a grand welcome with traditional Sri Lankan drums, and starting our stay by lighting the lamp felt so special, such a thoughtful gesture that instantly felt like home. The buffet breakfast was amazing, with a great selection of Sri Lankan and Western dishes. The whole place has a bright, happy vibe that lifts your mood the moment you walk in. Even fellow travellers looked as relaxed as we were. We truly wished we could have stayed longer. One small area for improvement would be the dinner service at the à la carte restaurant. It felt a bit understaffed. The waiters were very kind and sweet, but they were very busy and couldn’t attend to us promptly. Since it was a national holiday, the rush was understandable. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxed getaway with a beautiful beach right outside your hotel, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

Thaala Hotel Sri Lanka is an absolute gem! The accommodations is excellent, comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained. The food is delicious with great variety, and the staff truly go above and beyond. Their hospitality is warm, professional, and genuine, which made our stay feel extra special. The location is perfect, right in front of a stunning beach and conveniently close to town for activities and exploring. It’s ideal for families, with plenty of amenities to enjoy and a relaxing atmosphere throughout. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. The hotel stay was very good. They gave us a great service. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Everyone was so polite. They helped us to customize my baby's meao. And the garden area was very spacious. My kiddoes enjoyed the time to the fullest. Rooms were well cleaned and nice.

First of all The front office staff welcomed us warm smile .We spent two nights at Thaala Bentota Resort, and our stay was wonderful. The highlight was the romantic dinner they arranged on the beach—it was beautifully set up and created the perfect atmosphere. Food was delicious .The staff were attentive, the service was excellent, and the entire experience felt truly special. We had a memorable stay and would definitely return!
