We stayed at Thaala Hotel from 10th Jan 2026 to 12th Jan 2026 and had a wonderful experience. It’s a beautiful hotel with spacious and clean rooms that made our stay very comfortable. The pool was lovely, and we really enjoyed spending time there. The food was great, with a wide variety of options in the buffet. The service provided by Pramodya, Tharaka, Dasun, and Amandi during the buffet was amazing. They were attentive and friendly throughout. One of the highlights was the perfect sunset view from the beach right in front of the hotel. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay with stunning views and excellent service.

The buffet was good and tasty, although the variety of food options was a bit limited compared to larger luxury resorts. However, the quality and taste of the food were still enjoyable. Other than that, everything about the hotel was lovely, and we had a comfortable and memorable stay. A nice place for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful vacation in Bentota. It’s a beautiful place. Very spacious property. Very easy to access beach. The beach is very clean. The rooms and balconies are very spacious. Great pool facility. Balconies are facilitated with cloth drying stands. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. Good hospitality. Food and bar service is also excellent. Only suggestion- the spa and saloon services close very early. If extended until 9pm it benefits the guests aswell the business.

We had a wonderful experience at Thaala (තාල), Bentota. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with traditional drum performances, which made us feel very special. The hotel is very spacious, calm, and quiet, creating the perfect environment for relaxation. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and has a pleasant atmosphere. The buffet was delicious with a good variety of food options. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway..♥️
