Words cannot truly describe the magic that we experienced. We went to celebrate my son‘s 10th birthday. I wanted to make it special because it has been a rough journey for us and the past two birthdays have not been the best, in his opinion. From the minute we arrived, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We were able to get the room earlier than expected, and after a long flight and having to spend the night at the airport, it was truly appreciated. The hotel has all the amenities that you need. The room makes great use of the space . They have activities every evening for families and throughout the day my kids were able to participate in a field day. We also played bingo at the pool. What I appreciated the most with the free bus service to and from the parks. You do not need to worry about how to get there if you do not have a car and even if you do, I would just take the bus. It really was magical and we made memories that will last a lifetime. My son’s 10th birthday will always be remembered as a very special and magical one.

My 8 year old grandson and I stayed in late May to early June. This is our second visit to AllStar Sports Resort. We returned to the AllStar because we love everything about the resort. The Cast Members are always so welcoming, courteous and friendly. We requested the “Surfs Up” section are were given a room almost directly opposite the pool. It was so accommodating after a full day at the parks. The food court Cast Members were very kind and pleasant to interact with. The housekeeper were very kind, putting my grandsons stuffed animals on the bed in very “sweet” poses. We truly enjoy everything aspect of this resort.

You get what you pay for. This is where Disney magic dies and I would not call this a family-friendly resort. You know there must be issues constantly at this motel given there are multiple sheriffs posted around (not in their cars, but standing around the common areas). Our 10 year-old was excited to go see the football field but it was filled with older teens and young 20s who were yelling and cursing at each other. Even though security was standing right next to them, nothing was being done to keep order. Then, we had to deal with people smoking pot in the parking lot right outside our room. Oh, and be prepared to hear every time your neighbors take a shower, flush the toilet, or go in and out of their room. The front desk staff did not care when we reported the yelling/cursing/smoking and just said to tell security next time. They didn't have anything to say when we told them security was already right there. The reason I gave this 2 stars instead of one is because the beds were relatively comfortable and the room was clean, though small. There is very little room to walk around when both queen beds are being used. The girl who helped us at check in was also nice, though perhaps a little too nice? She spoke to us in the same way one of the princesses might speak to you in the parks, which is ok at first but it gets old pretty quick. Still, she was nice and made every effort to take care of us. All in all though, we won't be staying here again. It was our first experience at one of WDW's resorts and definitely a disappointment.

The inside of room was different then what I remembered last visit. It was better the only exception was that the floors were not clean as they made our socks dirty. The floors (no carpets) should of been swept and washed but other than that the place was great. The food court should of had more choices but it was ok. Did not use the pool as we wanted to go to the Parks and have fun. Magic Kingdom as always was great. Overall we loved it!!!!

It was my wife's 60th birthday. We stayed three nights at All-Star Resorts. From day 1 we had problems with insects and the shower emitting a high-pitched squeal. I reported same to housekeeping and was told it would be addressed the next day after we left for the park. Coming back to the room late that night and wanting a shower before bed, the squeal was still there, as were the insects. I phoned housekeeping once again and asked to have someone come to the room early the next morning to check the shower. I was also informed that someone from pest control would stop by the room while we were at the park to take care of the insects. A gentleman appeared at 8:00 a.m. (from housekeeping), looked and listened to the shower and said a plumber was needed and I was told that one would come to correct the problem that day while we were at the park. This is now day two. That evening nothing had changed in the room's situation and I took a picture of a nest of small flying insects in the bathroom. I phoned housekeeping, expressing my disappoint in the level of service not being provided by Disney. I was told that a supervisor would now handle the case. We left for our third day at the park and upon returning that evening the same issues remained in the room. It was our last night in the room and we couldn't wait to leave! And, in fact, upon leaving I stopped by the lobby and asked for a supervisor and expressed my great disappointed in the level of disservice by Disney. The supervisor, Ms. Sami, reviewed the call logs on her tablet, apologized and stated that there was a breakdown in communication. That the plumber had only used cold water to test the shower; he wasn't made aware that problem occurred with hot water. I stated that each time I called housekeep I 'clearly' stated that the squeal happened when using the hot water, and the housekeeping gentleman sent to the room in the early a.m. the second day of our stay saw, heard and understood that it was the hot water setting. I mean really...who takes a cold shower at night after an all-day excursion to one of the Disney parks! Ms. Sami then proceeded to offer me a half night's refund, which I found to be an insult. Or I could have 1 complimentary day at any park for both my wife and me valid for 2 years. I accepted the 1-day park tickets. I told Ms. Sami that I felt that we should be refunded for one full night in conjunction with the 1-day complementary park tickets and she told that it was not possible at the time. This is 'not' the level of service I expect to receive when going to Disney to spend my hard-earned money. Again, I expressed my surprise at the level of disservice by Disney, and told Ms. Sami that although we would use the 1-day park tickets in the future, we would never consider staying at any of the All-Star Resorts ever again.
