I recently stayed at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort while attending a large work event with over 2,000 attendees, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The staff handled an event of that size incredibly well—everyone we interacted with was professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Despite the scale of our conference, service was smooth, organized, and attentive. The resort itself is beautiful, with great spaces for meetings and gatherings, and plenty of amenities to enjoy after a long day of sessions. It was clear the team there knows how to manage large events while still making guests feel welcome and taken care of. I would absolutely recommend Coronado Springs as a fantastic venue for conferences, corporate events, or large group gatherings. At the same time, it has all the charm and comfort you’d expect from a Disney resort, making it just as perfect for a relaxing family vacation.

Coronado Springs Resort was a decent stay, but it didn’t quite stand out in any major way. The casitas felt a bit dated and showed some age—if you’re looking for a more modern experience, I’ve heard the tower is the better option. One thing to be aware of is how spread out the property is. It’s a large resort, so be prepared to do a fair amount of walking depending on where your room is located. The food options are solid but not particularly memorable—good enough, but nothing that really wowed us. Pricing is also something to keep in mind. For example, two cocktails with tip came out to nearly $50, which adds up quickly over a stay. That said, the resort does have some nice touches. The open areas around the lake and boardwalk are relaxing and provide a great place to sit and unwind, especially in the evenings. Overall, it’s about what you’d expect from a resort like this—comfortable and enjoyable, but not especially remarkable.

Great resort it’s huge! We stayed in the cabanas and it was kind of in the middle of everything. Really enjoyed their pool and hammocks while we stayed. Team member Ana I believe was her name was excellent after dealing with an emergency. Billy from food and beverage was awesome! Thank you for saving our trip and making it better

We recently stayed at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and overall had a wonderful experience. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in one of the casitas, and it was an easy walk to the bus stop for the shuttles to the parks, which made transportation very convenient. The property is clean, well maintained, and the rooms felt updated, fresh, and spotless. One of my favorite features was the Mayan temple at the pool — it’s such a fun and unique focal point. I also loved the restaurant located in the middle of the water. Both features really made the resort feel special and different from anywhere else we’ve stayed. Another huge plus: our room was incredibly quiet. We couldn’t hear anyone around us at all, which made it very relaxing after long park days. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to our experience at the gate upon arrival. It was our first time staying at a Disney resort, and we weren’t familiar with where to go, so we stopped for guidance. Unfortunately, the security guard working at the time was extremely and unnecessarily rude and not at all helpful. Once we were finally able to get directions from him, he actually sent us in the wrong direction to our room, which made an already confusing arrival even more frustrating. It wasn’t the welcoming first impression we were expecting. Aside from that interaction, we truly enjoyed our stay and would consider returning in the future.

Last year we stayed in the tower of the Coronado, this year we ended up in the forgotten back-lot of the Coronado. It's a walk to get anywhere. The rooms are dark with only one set of windows facing the walkway to all rooms, so to keep the curtains open leaves you on display to whomever is walking past. The rooms themselves are quiet. The bathroom door is a pocket door that is too heavy and also doesn't close fully. This area of the Coronado is dull and lifeless. There is no food in this outpost area and you are left to walk to breakfast, lunch and dinner. We don't mind the walk but got stuck in a sudd.en rain with no place to ditch. The restaurants are ALL Mexican food. The kids didn't care for it after day two and neither did we. It's also pricey with very limited gluten free options. Clue: meat and salad are not a great option for every meal. The larger pool IS ideal for families. The lifeguards are on point and professional. Pool side food is expensive, greasy, and same as other options. If this were not a work trip, I would not consider staying here.
