Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

I stayed here for one night for my birthday and honestly, I wish I could have stayed longer. I was greeted at the front door and directed where to go to check in. The check in process was easy and we were able to get into our room early. The lobby and room spaces were gorgeous and well kept with everything being neat and tidy. I stayed in a Tower room this time and loved it. Room are accessible with a room key or with the My Disney Experience App which is very convenient. Elevators were easy to use and the closeness to the marketplace/restaurants was nice. The pool area was very busy and chairs were a bit hard to find, but the pool itself and waterslide were fun! Any of the Cast Members that we spoke to were kind and friendly. We ate dinner at 3 Bridges that night, which was delicious and a great view of the resort. I would definitely look to stay here again!

What can I say… we love this place. Stayed here over a dozen times in the last 3 years. The resort is absolutely stunning, especially at night. Food options are plentiful and won’t break the bank. We particularly like the pool area and the over-the-water walkway that leads to the pool and other amenity areas. The rooms are spacious, comfy and clean, and well stocked with most anything you could need during your stay. The resort is conveniently located near the parks, Disney springs and the water parks. Signage leading to the resort is also excellent, I’ve never needed GPS to find it. Beds are extremely comfortable and I’ve never had a noise issue from other rooms while staying here. If this has been a resort you were on the fence about trying… just do it. You will not be disappointed.

Great resort it’s huge! We stayed in the cabanas and it was kind of in the middle of everything. Really enjoyed their pool and hammocks while we stayed. Team member Ana I believe was her name was excellent after dealing with an emergency. Billy from food and beverage was awesome! Thank you for saving our trip and making it better

Our stay at Coronado started out rocky, but ended well. We got to the resort, got "checked in", were told we'd get a room in the Casitas area, stowed our luggage with Luggage Services, and then headed to Blizzard Beach. When we got back after 4:00pm, we were told that our room wasn't ready and were given a room further away than we were previously told. It was okay, just not what we were expecting. We were told that Bell Services could bring our bags to our room. We walked to our room and then called Bell Services. There was a thunderstorm watch or warning in the area, so we were told that they couldn't bring our bags out to us. I called two more times, 30 - 40 minutes in between each time, and were told the same thing. I called again a bit later and no one picked up. Fed up, my daughter and I walked back to the lobby to get our things. We were told that someone would take us to our room, and we then had to wait a while longer for that. But the gentleman who took us back to the room was super friendly and sweet. We chatted with him the whole time. Once back to the room, we put our bags away and went to leave to get dinner. The same gentleman was still there and saw us leaving. He insisted on giving us a ride up. How sweet?! This totally turned the stay around for us. We loved the pool area and the slide. We were close to our bus stop. We were close to the Minnie van drop off/pick up location. And the walk to the lobby and the food area was beautiful. While the stay started rocky, we did really like it there. I definitely think we'll be back.

The resort was absolutely beautiful and we were very happy with our room. We were able to check in early and our room was very clean when we arrived. The main pool area was amazing and I cannot say enough about the amazing life guards. They take their jobs very seriously and it allowed me to relax more around the pool. The food and drink prices at the pool side bar were not bad but food was average. The resort was very spread out so there was a lot of walking. Luckily we were close to one of the bus stations which was very convenient when traveling to the park. The free admission to the water parks on your day of check in is something we took advantage of and it was AWESOME! My only major complaint, and I would assume this is how all of the Disney hotels are now, is that housekeeping only comes to your room every other day to make beds and empty trash. This was very disappointing especially for what you pay to stay on Disney property. When I am on vacation, I don’t want to make my bed or worry about emptying my trash. The trash cans were so small and ours was overflowing. Luckily we only stayed for 2 nights at the hotel.
