Disney's Pop Century Resort

Rooms are not cleaned regularly as they used to be. We stayed five evenings and our rooms were refreshed one time. The quick service operations are about the same as they were 20 years ago. 10pm at night and it took a long time to checkout with a carton of milk, which was warm by the time we paid for it. The luggage service was not as top notch as it had been on prior trips. We were presented with another family's luggage. We felt operations and service could have been better overall. Skyliner is the best part of this resort.

We had another great visit to WDW. I was there for the grand opening in 1971, and have visited countless times. We stayed at Pop Century for the second time and it was as fantastic as ever. The food court is convenient and family friendly with something for everyone. I love the Mickey waffles! The room we had could accommodate 5. This time I requested a preferred room because it was closer to the main food court and buses- perfect for someone with limited mobility. I did call housekeeping for an extra blanket and they happily brought one to my room within just a few minutes. And, with Pop Century located by the Skyliner, it is a quick, relaxing ride to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Or, take the free bus transportation offered at all the hotels.

Overall, we loved staying here. We always do! But this time we had 2 problems, #1 and most importantly, the a/c was limited to 68° I sweat at 68° in my sleep so I never slept good. #2 the soda fountains at "Everything Pop" were frequently out of ice or out of certain drinks, I know they are high traffic machines but this was a high dollar vacation. I just feel like this shouldn't be so common of an issue, and with the money I paid, I should be able to get my room to a temperature that I enjoy. Otherwise, it was great! The grounds stayed clean, the music was great, the pool was nice.. everything was great.

A very nice resort. Food was acceptable except the burnt broccoli and kids portions were ample. All CM’s were pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping was good as well. My grand loved the Mickey sunglasses she put on her stuffie. We were placed in adjoining rooms which was great. I only wished they were not in the 80’s building. It was a far distance for my arthritic knee and wrangling a one and a three year old to get to the skyline for splash pad.

Disney's Pop Century Resort was such a fun place to stay! From the moment we arrived, the larger-than-life icons celebrating the '50s through the '90s created a nostalgic and playful atmosphere. Everywhere you look there are colorful photo opportunities and fun Disney details. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious for a value resort. Housekeeping kept everything in great condition, and the beds were comfortable after long days in the parks. The biggest perk is the Skyliner. Being able to quickly travel to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios without relying on buses made our vacation so much easier. The buses to the other parks were also frequent and well organized. Everything POP Shopping & Dining had a wide variety of food options, making it easy to grab breakfast before heading to the parks or a late-night meal after returning. The staff throughout the resort were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. If you're looking for an affordable Disney resort that still delivers plenty of Disney magic, Pop Century is hard to beat. It's a fantastic value with excellent transportation, fun theming, and everything you need for a memorable Walt Disney World vacation. I would definitely stay here again!
