I had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Bangkok. The hotel was comfortable and well located, but what really made the experience stand out was the excellent customer service. I would especially like to recognize Maruko, the Front Desk Supervisor, who was incredibly professional, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. She handled everything efficiently, made check-in smooth, and went out of her way to ensure I felt well taken care of. Her attitude was consistently warm and attentive, and she truly represents great hospitality.

This place is fantastic! Staff can’t do enough to make sure your stay is superb. Pro tip -book the breakfast. There is such a wide variety of items to choose from and all are delicious. The rooms are neat, clean and very comfortable. AC can be controlled to your own comfort level. Shower is modern with rain shower and hand sprayer. This place is wonderful.

I booked two rooms for my family and myself, and one of the main reasons I came back was because of how exceptional my previous stay had been. I’m happy to say this visit lived up to that memory. The service has been consistently great, and the staff are warm, helpful, and welcoming. Breakfast is another highlight because there is a good variety of options, and everything is fresh and flavorful. The location is also very convenient. It’s about a 10 minute Grab ride to Lotus and Big C, or roughly a 30 minute walk if you prefer. There are also two shopping malls within a 10 minute walk, plus two 7-Eleven stores nearby with one just three minutes away and the other about six minutes. Overall, the combination of friendly staff, excellent service, good food, and a convenient location are exactly why I’ll be returning again in the future. Keep up the excellent work!

This is a well-located four-star hotel set in a quiet area, while remaining highly convenient for travelers. The surrounding neighborhood offers easy access to key amenities, making it both practical and comfortable for visitors. Although the property is officially rated as a four-star hotel, it demonstrates a commendable level of care and attention to detail. Thoughtful touches—such as tasteful interior décor and a welcome cookie offered upon arrival—add warmth and personality to the overall experience and elevate it beyond its classification. The stay is consistently pleasant, with a calm atmosphere and a sense of genuine hospitality throughout. An additional advantage is the hotel’s proximity to a Michelin-recommended restaurant, making it an appealing choice for guests who wish to combine comfortable accommodation with quality dining. Overall, this hotel does not aim for extravagance, but rather delivers a well-considered and satisfying stay. For travelers seeking a quiet, convenient base with thoughtful details, it is a solid and recommendable option.

​I expected a professional experience staying at a DoubleTree by Hilton, but this stay was a series of service failures from start to finish. ​Check-in Failure: Despite booking 3 rooms with specific requests (King beds, no corner rooms), we were told the hotel had no record of our instructions. One room was even set up as a twin. After a lot of back-and-forth, we weren't able to get into our rooms until 6:00 PM. ​Bar "Bait-and-Switch": While waiting for our delayed room, we went to the bar. A brochure at the table clearly stated a 1-for-1 beer promotion, which the staff explicitly confirmed. However, when the bill arrived, we were charged full price. A different staff member claimed the promotion was for a different property, despite the brochure being right in front of us. ​Midnight Disturbance: At 12:00 AM, our room’s curtain lights began flickering uncontrollably. We had to have a technician in our room at midnight to stop it. It was incredibly intrusive and disrupted our sleep. When I brought these cumulative issues to management (Ms. Apple), the response was a "brush-off." They offered 5 drink vouchers (which expired the same night) and a "complimentary upgrade" for a future stay. ​As I am not a loyalty member and have no plans to return to this property, a "future promise" holds zero value for the failures of this stay. Management refused to offer any tangible compensation (like a partial refund or credit) for the fact that we lost half a day of our stay and had our rest interrupted at midnight. If you value your time and sleep, stay elsewhere. There are many hotels in Sukhumvit that understand service recovery better than this property.
