The resort itself is beautiful. The grounds are well maintained, the beach and pools are excellent, and once we got out and started enjoying the property, we had a good time. Unfortunately, the service and housekeeping fell well below expectations for a resort in this price range. We experienced an 8+ hour loss of running water on our first day, inconsistent room servicing, and repeated housekeeping issues throughout our stay. The most concerning incident was discovering another guest’s underwear left in our room, which raised serious questions about the cleanliness standards. To the staff’s credit, they were courteous and responsive when issues were reported, and the experience gradually improved as the week went on. That said, many of these problems should never have occurred in the first place. This is a resort with tremendous potential because the property itself is outstanding. If management can improve housekeeping consistency and overall service execution, it would be an easy five-star destination. As it stands, the resort is let down by operational shortcomings rather than the facility itself.

Has the most relaxing time at Dreams Cap Cana. We arrived early and we were able to check in, giving us a whole extra day there to enjoy which was nice. Food and service was amazing especially at Maravento Italian restaurant. The Sea Legs swim up bar we met Jordan, definitely knows how to make a drink always serving with a smile. A plus for us as we were mainly at the pool. the Palms Bar we met Hector- he has quite the attention to detail. His drinks not only looked amazing but taste amazing as well. We found the entire staff always greeting us. The reaort is definitely worth a try.

We took our annual family trip. This time we chose dreams capcana following a disappointing experience at dreams in Curacao. We had an excellent time at this resort. Quite possibly the best service hotel staff that I've ever had and we've been to quite a few countries, friendliness, warm nature and always with a smile on their face employees. There were a few that I would like to name that went above and beyond. First starting off with our Concierge's Johan and Caesar a phenomenal job by both gentlemen and accompanying our party of 12 whom we're in different buildings for the duration of our stay. To the bartenders at the preferred club bar,Andria and Evelyn they were absolutely outstanding. Super friendly. Remembered our drinks and made the best drinks on the entire resort property!! Melissa at the Palm bar, her charisma and attentiveness should not go unnoticed. We received phenomenal service from her. Yuledi In the steakhouse, she did a phenomenal job of getting our orders right offering suggestions and her wonderful personality stood out! Now don't get me wrong. The entire staff at the property. Did a great job but I do want to highlight these particular ones as they stood out! Now on to the resort we were in building one which was advertised as an oceanfront room. However, it was quite far from the ocean behind a pool and a long way to the beach, so the view was very narrow of the ocean. The room was clean and spacious, however, they use the occupancy sensors in the room which typically warm when we came back for the day and also while we slept at night. The refrigerator is a smart refrigerator and would only cool to about 42° so most of the time our drinks were warmer than we'd like. The pool areas were nice and the staff in the preferred pool did a fairly decent job of checking to make sure guests s were accommodated and those who were not in the preferred club were not allowed. This was one of the best culinary experiences I've had at an all-inclusive resort. We enjoyed almost every meal at every restaurant. And if you've stayed at at any all-inclusives you know this is very hard to come by. Our housekeeper, Violeta also did a phenomenal job of straightening up our room from the disasters that we ended up leaving for her daily. Please make sure you tip the housekeeping staff as you don't see them. Sometimes they go unnoticed! Overall, this was a very nice modern resort, but it had a very laid-back relaxed vibe. Possibly a little too laid back for me but just the heads up for those who are coming. Now as to the only negative was the beach situation, doing our research prior, we figured we would run into seaweed in the Dominican Republic which we did. The disappointing part was it was day six of our 7-Day trip before they finally started to clean off the seaweed from the beach. It's hard to go on a beach vacation and never go to the beach. Thus, I cannot give this resort five stars but they do get four.

Holiday 2026 with my wife in Domenican Republic for the 5th time. -Thank you so much for making it an unforgettable experience for in case you read this Julissa, Claudia, Engel, Cesar, Vidal and the people from the Barefoot Grill-❤️ We stayed from 3 may until 8 may and are sad that we need to leave for our next destination. The walking buffet had sadly not so much variation but the other restaurants in the hotel were pretty good. The Asian restaurant and the steakhouse would be my recommendation. The ladies from the spa provide excellent service and in general for the resort if you did the preferred club upgrade the service the people provide is EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD when you treat them as human beings too. Don't forget that the people working there are also human beings and not everything is about you. Small note: at 11:30 the Barefoot grill opens and they have this snack called Boneless Chicken with Jamaican style sauce, this is a HIDDEN GEM, amazing snack but spicy(Asian level) be warned!!!! The resort has a lot of entertainment and is very child/family friendly. There is a singer/artist walking around at the resort and his name is Vidal, a very very talented singer who plays different instruments and has an amazing voice. I hope that anyone who reads this will be able to enjoy his amazing talent. Hopefully see you again anytime soon. Mucho gracias ❤️

Where do I begin, well me and my family stayed at the Dreams Cap Cana Punta Cana. Beautiful resort but it needs work in the service department. The staff is rude, dismissive, and extremely nonchalant. A lot of eye rolling and staring at you like you’re an inconvenience. If they don’t understand you, they shrug their shoulders and keep walking. The food is on the mediocre side. Restaurants kept running out of items on the menu. It’s a resort. How are you running out of food? My little sister has a severe tree nut allergy, and when we tried to communicate that, they couldn’t understand. Once again, we got a shoulder shrug. We needed toilet paper and regular tissues. We received the toilet paper but not the tissues. When a family member asked again, the guy said he didn’t understand and walked away. Room service food was cold. The labels on the food at the buffet were always wrong. I requested our room to be cleaned through the app. It said it was in progress and when it was finished, I went back to the room to check. They didn’t clean anything. The room was the same as we left it. Room service plates were left outside the rooms for days. WiFi went out for a whole day and nobody bothered to let guest know. We found out in the middle of the day after my dad asked. This has not been a pleasant vacation. We stayed at a Dreams resort in Cancun and loved it. We thought it would be the same here but it has been awful. Oh and roaches. They have roaches. When the guy came to spray for the roaches, he didn’t even shut the closet door when he was done. He just let the fumes go all thought the room while we were still in there.
