Had a lovely time with family (7 adults). The staff, food, and drinks were excellent. Shout outs to the following. Elian and Leidy (no Gaga) with entertainment kept us entertained daily from poolside music and games to cocktail, guacamole, and sushi making classes! Thanks for all the fun and fabulous you brought to our week. Sundria was ready for us every morning at the Mesa Buffet breakfast and when we popped over to Candela for the lunch buffet one day! Keep up the great work! Rosa at Olio was at the ready when we had lunch at Olio and took care of our every need. The chicken cordon blue and opera cake were divine. Jeremiah and ALL of the Kaiman preferred bar bartenders and staff were superb. Let them make you a drink, you won’t be disappointed. Also, the late night staff at the Preferred Bar were wonderful. Thank you for the chocolate martinis. And a final shout out to Juan Luis who was our butler for the week. He helped us with anything we needed and all was much appreciated. The pools were great. The beach not so much, so if you are wanting beach check around as this one is rocky and the water murky with gunk.

From the moment we stepped into our room, we were in love. Booking the sea-view is 100% worth it here.We found ourselves relaxing on the balcony almost every morning, watching the sunrise over the water. It became our favorite ritual of the whole trip. A special thank you to our concierge, Juan, who truly makes the stay. He added so much value and was genuinely helpful with everything we needed. And the team, honestly, the whole team is unforgettable. I'm sorry I can't name everyone, but our waiters Franklin and Ricky made the dinners so special. Every single person went above and beyond. The food is outstanding. The à la carte restaurants are the real thing, truly made to order, not a buffet dressed up as something else. Yes, the resort's own beach is a little rocky, but that's a small thing. The main Juanillo (Cris) Beach is public and just 200 meters away, a gorgeous stretch of sand with the most beautiful water we swam in all week. We left with the best memories and can't wait to come back. Thank you, Dreams Cap Cana!

Beautiful rooms, service is excellent food has been good. The pools are huge and nice splash pad for the kids. Very clean everywhere. The grounds are groomed neatly. The only negative would be the beach. It is full of seaweed and lots of rocks. Not swimmable not even nice to look at. Everything else makes this resort a 5 star in my opinion.

⭐ 1/5 — VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE — I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT FOR FAMILIES Our family recently stayed at Dreams Cap Cana, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We are a family of five and members of Unlimited Vacation Club (UVC), so we expected a much higher level of organization, communication, and service. One of our biggest concerns started immediately upon arrival. We were traveling with our minor children and had been promised that our rooms would be located on the same floor. Instead, our rooms were placed on different floors. This was especially frustrating because we were told the resort was only around 30% occupied. We immediately asked to speak with Juliana, the person responsible for our reservation, hoping she could help resolve the situation. Despite our repeated attempts, it was nearly impossible to speak with her when we needed assistance. The only solution we were given was that they might be able to move us THREE DAYS LATER. For parents traveling with minor children, placing a family on separate floors after specifically promising otherwise is simply unacceptable. We are also UVC members, and during our previous reservations, our membership has been recognized with the appropriate welcome amenities, including a member banner and a bottle of champagne. This time, there was nothing. Even worse was what happened to our children. They entered an area designated for members and were asked to leave because THEIR ROOM did not reflect our UVC membership. Our children were embarrassed and humiliated. They are part of our family and our membership, yet they were treated as though they did not belong there because of how the resort had assigned their room. That was extremely upsetting to us as parents. Another major disappointment involved my father’s birthday. I surprised my father by arranging for him to join us on this family vacation, and we were expecting him to have a swim-out/pool room. I had already excitedly told my father about his special room. Then, on the SAME DAY OF HIS ARRIVAL, I was informed that his room had been changed. Imagine planning a birthday surprise for your father, telling him about the special pool room, and then having to explain that the resort changed it at the last minute. It completely took away from what was supposed to be a very special moment. This was not one isolated mistake. It was a series of disappointments: our minor children being placed on a different floor despite a prior promise, difficulty getting assistance from Juliana when we needed her, lack of recognition of our UVC membership, our children being embarrassed and removed from a members-only area, and my father’s birthday room being changed at the last minute. When a family spends this kind of money on a vacation — especially as UVC members — we expect commitments to be honored, reservations to be handled correctly, and our family to be treated with respect. After this experience, WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO DREAMS CAP CANA. Unfortunately, I also cannot recommend this resort to other families, particularly families traveling with minor children or UVC members expecting their membership and reservations to be properly recognized. There are too many beautiful resorts in the Dominican Republic to spend your vacation dealing with problems like these.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Carlina needs a promotion⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We were a group of 10, including a baby, and honestly, our one week stay would not have been nearly as smooth without Carlina. From the very first day, she paid attention to every little detail — arranging extra cribs for the baby, making restaurant reservations that could accommodate all of us, and helping coordinate our luggage seamlessly. The first night, our room turned out to be quite noisy due to an evening performance. As soon as we mentioned it, Carlina immediately arranged a room change for us and made sure the new rooms were comfortable before we settled in. That kind of quick response meant the world to us, especially with a baby in the group. What really stood out, though, was how attentive she was throughout our entire stay. She would regularly check in with us, asking if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. She remembered our names, our schedules, and even checked in on how the baby was doing. You could tell she genuinely cared, not just doing her job. Her patience, warmth, and incredible problem-solving skills turned what could have been a stressful group trip into a truly enjoyable experience. We felt so well taken care of. If you're lucky enough to stay here, know that Carlina is the one who will make your trip unforgettable. She absolutely deserves recognition for the outstanding service she provides! Rooms was ok beach had seaweed. Not all restaurants are open due to low season. Room service food was wonderful. Steakhouse was the best restaurant for dinner.
