We had an overall great experience at Dreams Cap Cana and would definitely consider returning. The resort is absolutely beautiful—the grounds are stunning, and everything was cleaned daily, which really stood out. The pools are huge, and even with a full resort, there was always plenty of space in the water, which was a big plus. The beach wasn’t really swimmable due to the conditions, but it was very pretty to look at and made for great photos. We had a large wedding group, and it did feel like we were one of the biggest wedding parties they’ve hosted. Some restaurants struggled to accommodate large groups, and coordinating room locations was a bit confusing at first, but we eventually got the hang of it. Huge shoutout to the staff—our butler Cesar was AMAZING, and Andy, who helped with our bags, was so funny and kind even though he spoke very little English. Roy was one of our favorite bartenders, and the drinks were consistently great. Felix with Amstar went above and beyond to arrange a private boat for my wedding party and helped set up other excursions, which was a highlight of the trip. Our wedding coordinator Aris deserves special recognition—planning a wedding in just 60 days is no small task, especially after Hurricane Melissa forced us to move our wedding from Jamaica. She handled everything with grace and truly made it happen for us, and we’re so grateful. Food was about a 7/10 at most places, but the drinks definitely made up for it! Overall, we had a wonderful time and truly appreciate that Dreams Cap Cana accommodated our group last minute during such a stressful situation. Beautiful resort, great staff, and great memories made. We would definitely revisit!

We had the best time at Dreams Cap Cana. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcomed and cared for. Every person we met was kind, helpful, and genuinely happy to make our stay special. Our concierge Cesar truly stood out. He went above and beyond for our family and made everything so easy and enjoyable. We cannot say enough good things about him. The resort itself is beautiful and incredibly clean. Everything felt fresh and well maintained, and our room was so comfortable. Even the pillows were amazing and made it so easy to relax at night after long days in the sun. It is also very baby friendly, which made traveling with little ones so much less stressful. They had everything we needed and were always willing to help with anything we asked. The pools were gorgeous, the beach was peaceful, and the food was great. We never ran out of things to do and always felt taken care of. We truly had such a wonderful family vacation and would absolutely come back. Dreams Cap Cana exceeded our expectations in every way.

Beautiful location & wonderful weather. The beach is actually better than most seem to claim on here. The sand is nice, beautiful trees & water color. The ocean water was far too cold to get in but if you wanted to, you could find some spots where it’s less rocky. The pool was too cold, you could get in but it was freezing. The staff at the bars & buffet did not meet my expectations as I felt like I had to stare someone down to get anything I needed. The dinner staff was much more attentive. Candela was by far the best dinner 5/5. Not a ton of families, I’d say around 60% of the crowd was age 50+

Beautiful pools disappointing beach and food. I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share our experience at Dreams Cap Cana Resort & Spa so other travelers know what to expect. Our trip started off with confusion when we were initially taken to the wrong Dreams resort after arrival. That was frustrating, especially after already having to change our vacation plans from Tulum and paying an additional $1,800 to come here instead. Should have been an even exchange or less for the quality. One of the biggest disappointments is the beach. Unfortunately, it is largely covered with coral and rock, making it very difficult to enter the water. If you are expecting the typical swimmable Punta Cana beach, this may not be the place for you. The food quality has also been extremely disappointing. Much of the fruit has been underripe and very hard, the bread often stale, and even simple items like eggs tasted old. For a resort at this price point, the food should be much better. Service has been mixed. While we encountered some very kind and hardworking staff members, the experience at the buffet was quite unpleasant at times, with staff who came across as rude and unwelcoming. To be fair, the pools are beautiful and well maintained, and there are definitely good employees working hard here. However, the overall experience simply did not match the cost or expectations. Sadly, based on our experience, I would not recommend spending your money here. We travel often and have stayed at many resorts, and this was unfortunately one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve had. For the price we paid and the expectations created by the marketing, this resort simply did not deliver. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues so future guests don’t have the same disappointing experience we did.

Amazing stay made unforgettable by Coca Cola! We stayed at Dreams Cap Cana and had such a great time overall. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful — stunning pools, warm sunshine, and a gorgeous property that makes it easy to relax and unwind. What truly made our experience 10 times more fun, though, was Coca Cola from the entertainment team. He was incredible. He brought so much energy and personality to the resort and had a real talent for getting people involved without being pushy. He started games like cornhole and other activities that got our group up from relaxing and actually having fun together — laughing, competing, and making memories. He completely changed the vibe of our days in the best way possible and is a HUGE asset to the resort. The only downside of our stay was the food — it wasn’t the highlight for us — but honestly, we didn’t come for gourmet meals. We came for warm weather, beautiful pools, great energy, and a good time, and Dreams Cap Cana absolutely delivered on that. Another draw back would be there is no ocean access, or it is not possible to get in the ocean due to the seaweed. If you’re looking for a stunning resort with amazing entertainment and staff who truly care about guests having fun, this is the place — and Coca Cola deserves all the recognition!
