Had a lovely time at this hotel. Peaceful location, hard working friendly, respectful and polite staff, good selection of drinks including non alcoholic taste alikes, generous measures, enjoyed my decaf oat milk latte (gluten free) every day at Mikes Bar too. Low key (pleasant but non intrusive) entertainment each evening. Good selection of food choices (I am vegetarian and avoid gluten and always found something tasty to eat at every meal, unlike at other hotels) (note to hotel, it would be helpful if the labels would point out what is specifically gluten free though), for the carnivores there was an area where they also cooked fish and meat to order. Our room was lovely, spacious, clean, well equipped, great air conditioning, very comfortable beds and most importantly to me, (and anyone with misophonia or hyperacusis) very quiet - the rooms must be soundproofed as the minute the balcony doors were closed I could hear nothing from outside or adjoining rooms which was bliss (room 2754 floor 7). The gym was well equipped, we enjoyed the aqua aerobics and the pool was always clean and the perfect size and shape for a decent swim. There are lots of comments on Facebook about sun lounger reserving, people did tend to do that BUT a) there was never any time I couldn’t find a sun lounger (and there were always plenty of empty ones near the indoor pool which is right by the outdoor pool) and b) the lifeguard guy works hard to monitor the situation and you could ask him to find you one that has been reserved but unused, so don’t let people’s sun lounger comments put you off this hotel. Big shout out to the people that really stood out to me - Marco in the restaurant, Jose in the bar, Lili in Mike’s bar, Wahid in the animation team - thank you guys for really adding to my holiday experience. Really enjoyed our week away, very relaxing, had a lovely time.

It's one of the best hotels I've visited in a long time. The facilities are beautiful; the rooms are in perfect condition; the beds are very comfortable (finally! I usually hate hotel beds, but I loved these). The pool is gorgeous and incredibly clean. Overall, the entire hotel is very clean. The staff is super attentive, friendly, and hardworking. The food is delicious! Don't miss the opportunity for an all-inclusive stay. The best part was the paradise beach! Staying at this hotel gave us access to miles of pristine beaches with turquoise water and white sand. The cats in the colony were also incredibly sweet and friendly. In short, I fell in love with this hotel and I can't wait to return. My only suggestion is that they hire first aid personnel who are available 24 hours a day. My husband had an accident, and no one was able to help him.

We have just returned from a week at Playa Esmeralda and it is by far the best hotel experience that we have ever had. Having usually stayed in the North of the Island we love this area as it is quieter, less touristy and the scenery stunning. We had a Superior Seaview room which was beautifully decorated and furnished to a high quality, a decent size, quiet, very comfy beds with a great walk in shower with complimentary toiletries and the room was serviced to a very high standard each day. We stayed All-Inclusive and although we did eat out on one night and a few lunchtimes because we hired a car so visited places during the day it was still worth it. The food at all meal times had something for everyone, and all dietary requirements catered for. The show cooking featured fresh fish and meats as well as themed evenings such as Mexican, Paella, Italian and also on one evening fresh shellfish. And the choice of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic were very good. The Staff throughout the entire hotel from the Reception, Bar, Restaurant, Room Service were all very friendly and kept the hotel immaculate. There was nightly entertainment in both the main lobby bar, usually a singer, and downstairs often alternative acts but again, there was something for everyone! The pool area was very relaxing and chilled with lots of different areas and although we aren't big sunbathers it was nice at the end of the day to sit in the sun as was the outside area of the lobby bar which had the last of the evening sun with an amazing view of the Lagoon, the beach and sea. There was also a small indoor pool, hot tub and a spa which we didn't use on this so cannot comment on and also daily activities which we did not participate in either on this occasion but there was a good selection. Overall, if you are looking for a relaxing, chilled, quieter holiday then this is the perfect place. It is a rarity to find a decent adult only all inclusive at a reasonable price. If you are the type of person to stay around the hotel area then you would find plenty to do as you can walk into the local town in 15 mins where there are a few small shopping centres with shops, bars and restaurants as well as walks to the beach and the Lagoon etc. I would also recommend hiring a car like we did and always do as there are so many places to visit within an easy short drive and more stunning scenery and beaches also. Unfortunately, for half of our stay the weather wasn't that great so we have had no alternative than to book another week and will be returning in June and really looking forward to it!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this adults-only all-inclusive resort and loved every moment of it. This was a first time visiting. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily to a very high standard. The food was exceptional — a fantastic variety of rich and delicious options, all made with high-quality ingredients. We especially enjoyed the brekfest and coffe, fresh seafood including mussels and sashimi, which were outstanding. The staff truly made our experience special. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and hardworking. A special mention to the reception team, who were always helpful and welcoming, and to the staff who worked tirelessly during lunch service — your efforts did not go unnoticed and were greatly appreciated. Special shout out to young man who served us couple last days. One of our favourite spots was the top-level deck — sitting there with a cocktail in hand, taking in the magnificent views of the ocean and hills, was simply unforgettable. The swimming pool was perfect for a relaxing swim, with pleasantly warm water. We also loved the outdoor jacuzzi and the indoor heated pool. The hotel gym was well-equipped, and we enjoyed staying active during our trip. We also completed the hike to Pico de la Zarza for the second time, which was amazing as we picked a good day with no clouds and got to see the outstanding views of a cliff over Cofete beach Costa Calma itself is very calm and relaxing area — ideal if you're looking to unwind rather than party. Overall, we absolutely loved this place and would return in the blink of an eye. Thank you again to everyone in the hotel for making our stay so memorable!

We loved our stay in the H10 playa Esmeralda! We had a spacious lovely room with sea view. It was cleaned every day, thanks to Jessica and the other ladies for the good care and always folding my pyama in happy shapes. A problem with the sensor on the terrace door was quickly fixed. The bed was slightly to hard for my taste, but my husband likes it. Enough pillows to provide comfort. Very nice shampoo/shower gel. Sometimes a muffy smell from the bathroom (old pipes?). The food was very diverse and delicious (from our cubano friend Alain). One suggestion would be to have more 0.0% drink options (like red wine for Sangria, champagne 0.0%, gin 0.0% for mocktails), as I am pregnant and drinking sodas gets a bit boring on a holiday. The beach (playa Esmeralda) in front is beautiful & you can see the wind/kitesurfers at the near playa Sotavento. The activities and entertainment provided by our smiley friend Wajdi was great fun :D From yoga on the beach, to aqua spinning and great music in the evenings! Other suggestions for further improvement would be: -Spa is small and the turkish bath was out of order on a rainy day. -Spa treatments are on the expensive side, compared to a very great massage we had in Corralejo. - The bar upstairs never had enough sitting places in the evenings...
