Visited here with my family over the May half term. Children 8&6. Great family hotel, staff were fantastic, especially bar staff and kids animation team who didn't stop. They are currently constructing a huge entertainment venue next to the onsite shop&kids club (not sure the how the noise will effect neighbouring hotel rooms) There are also newly constructed football pitches on site. We stopped in a family room 2 x double beds with a partition that can be pulled across; It was spacious and modern with a large bathroom which had a walk in shower. There are multiple pools round the complex as well as the large water park attached. This means you'll never struggle for sunbeds. The food is good and varied although it is buffet style only. (the tagines are lovely) I wouldn't want to eat this for more than a week. They also only serve ice cream from 1500hrs 🤷 The alcohol choice is poor, cheap selection of wines and no proper cocktails available. The beer available is san Miguel poured from bottles or local lager on tap. ( i was bored of this after a few days) there are no premium spirits, so would recommend bringing a bottle from duty free if this is your thing. The hotel is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, a taxi into the city costs around 150 D - take a card from reception with the hotels address for the return journey to show to taxi drivers. A good place to get dropped off in marrakesh city is at the tui blue Medina gardens hotel, its central and there's a taxi rank there for the return. All in all a great holiday for kids under 14 and if you don't mind staying within a resort for the majority of your holiday.

Excellent hotel, all of the staff were friendly and the hotel was excellent for children. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed a stay very much. A lot of work was being done at the hotel during our stay on some of the pools and one of the restaurants but it didn’t affect our holiday as there was still plenty of pools to use. The food was ok, there was a choice to eat on most meals, there was always food available throughout the day.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt well-organized and welcoming. The service was definitely one of the highlights the staff was friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. I would especially like to mention Brahim, the duty manager. He truly made a difference during our stay. Professional, attentive, and always going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. Thanks to the excellent service and personal attention, we had a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended we would definitely come back again!

I stayed here with my partner and children. Check in was relatively quick and easy, the staff were polite and friendly, and we were taken to our rooms along with our suitcases. ROOMS...we had a family room which was a really nice size, the room was clean but some parts seemed to be missed. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, along with a mini fridge. There were also toiletries provided in the bathroom but they were not refilled when required. FOOD... I found the food to be nice and everything was hot, but there was not a lot of choice and I found it very repetitive in both the main buffet and pool buffet, the same sort of thing every day. There was a good selection of hot and cold drinks throughout the day including bottled water. They also have a little cafe area near reception where you can get sandwiches and cakes, but don't bother with the sandwiches, they were stale and not edible at all, the staff should have thrown them in the bin as they should never have been given to customers in the first place. POOLS...The pool areas were kept clean and tidy and there a good selection of pool bars. The children really enjoyed all the different pools and water slides. ENTERTAINMENT... The animation team really made a great effort and were all really friendly. There were plenty of activities during the day and evening entertainment too. The children really enjoyed the mini disco and foam party. LOCATION ... i would not say the location is great but the hotel did provide a free bookable shuttle bus to the town centre, during busier times I would imagine the bus to be fully booked as one of our days we were unable to book a return, but did manage to get a local bus back to the hotel.. OVERVIEW....on the whole the hotel was very good. There are cash machines in the reception area and you are also able to book excursions. I would probably stay at this hotel again.

We’ve just come back from an absolutely brilliant stay at Pickalbatros Aqua Fun in Marrakech and honestly, we couldn’t fault it. The hotel itself is fantastic – spotless, well maintained, and with loads to do. The water park is a huge highlight (not just for kids either… no shame in a grown adult racing down slides repeatedly). There’s a great variety of food and plenty of choice across the restaurant, so you never feel stuck eating the same thing twice. What really made the holiday though was the staff. Every single member of the bar team was superb – always friendly, quick service, and somehow they remembered what you were drinking almost immediately, which just adds that personal touch that makes a big difference. The animation team deserve a special mention – they were absolutely outstanding. Full of energy from morning to night, constantly engaging with guests without ever being over the top. Whether it was poolside activities, shows in the evening, or just creating a fun atmosphere around the resort, they really made the whole place come alive. Overall, a top-class experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for a fun, lively, and genuinely welcoming place to stay in Marrakech, this hotel ticks every box. We’ll definitely be back!
