Teddy is without a doubt the best hotel manager I have ever met. He is highly professional, always present, and most importantly able to make clear, confident decisions, even in challenging situations. It’s obvious that he truly cares about both the guests and his team, while maintaining excellent control and organization at all times. His leadership creates a sense of trust, safety, and quality throughout the hotel. Teddy is the kind of manager who genuinely makes a difference in a hospitality operation. We booked three nights at the SO/Bangkok Hotel through Luxury Escapes at the beginning of December 2025. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic and highly recommended. The Sala Daeng BTS station is less than a 10-minute walk away. Of course, you can also take a tuk-tuk for 100 THB, as we did. The breakfast buffet was superb and more than ample, with a great view of Lumpini Park across the street. The rooms are very spacious and stylishly furnished. In addition to the excellent breakfast, we enjoyed the numerous complimentary benefits of the Club Signature membership. These included access to the Executive Lounge with complimentary afternoon tea and free-flow cocktails and drinks between 5:00 and 7:00 pm. We also received one complimentary cocktail per person per day at the impressive bar on the hotel's 9th floor. The complimentary dinner (excluding drinks) at the Red Oven restaurant was also delicious, including sashimi (!) and oysters (!). As part of this, we also had the opportunity to meet Mr. Kittipat Thongpan, the director of Wine & Dine. Mr. Thongpan is the epitome of a true host and keeps a very attentive eye on his guests. He is also happy to share his extensive culinary knowledge and offer plenty of helpful tips. Another very useful perk is that each Club Signature hotel guest can drop off two items of laundry per day, which are usually cleaned free of charge on the same day. We highly recommend the Japanese restaurant SUSHI SORA located on the ground floor. We have rarely experienced such delicious omakase. All in all: We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend this impressive hotel!

Great location with easy access to Sukhumvit, shopping in Siam, Lumpini Park and areas like Talat Noi. The hotel has a strong design identity and a clear luxury feel. Soshi is a real highlight, offering excellent sushi with high-quality ingredients and making it very convenient to dine well without leaving the hotel. The room was quite dark, mainly due to limited lighting, which reduced functionality in the evening. The rooftop pool is cold. Refreshing and enjoyable in the Bangkok heat, but it may not match what everyone expects from a rooftop pool experience. The seated check-in feels exclusive but is slightly overcomplicated and time-consuming. A simpler process with more written information would improve the experience. Overall a very stylish and comfortable stay. With a few small adjustments, it would be close to perfect.

We were warmly welcomed, granted an early check-in, and surprised with a complimentary room upgrade — thoughtful touches that set the tone for a very special stay. Special thanks to Teddy (Duty Manager) for his personal attention and genuine welcome, and to Khun Izhar (Director of Revenue and Rooms) for coordinating everything so smoothly behind the scenes. Their professionalism and warm care — together with a responsive, attentive team — made all the difference and allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment. The room was lovely and immaculately prepared for our honeymoon, and the complimentary amenity was a sweet surprise. Dinner at Red Oven was a highlight — the food was delicious, perfectly presented, and the service matched the high standard we experienced throughout the hotel.
