Food was quite bad. Prawn in the Nasi goreng was very smelly. Rice it self was just soy sauce, carrot, egg and rice. For the price not worth it. Even the steak Tuna panini was just okay. Service was not bad. View and the location is always one of the best in Sri Lanka. I hope the quality of food improves.

Had an amazing first experience at Dragon Boat Restaurant at Blue Water Hotel! 🌟 The food was absolutely delicious and every dish was full of flavor. What made the experience even more special was the warm and friendly service from the staff. A big appreciation to Kavindu and Sara for being so kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. They truly made us feel comfortable and valued as first-time visitors. Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable dining experience — definitely looking forward to visiting again! ❤️

Very poor service at Blue Water. Unfortunately, this is not the first time—I have experienced poor service here more than four times. We first went to the bar for drinks, and I must say the bar staff were friendly and provided good service. However, the rest of our experience was extremely disappointing. We then went to the Chinese restaurant and waited for quite a while, but no one came to take our order. After waiting, we went to the open kitchen area to ask how long it would take. There was only one staff member there, but he completely ignored us. Even though we tried speaking to him several times, he acted as if he couldn't hear us and didn't even bother to look at us. We became frustrated and left, and he still showed no concern. When I read the management's replies to other reviews, they always say they care about customer satisfaction, but that certainly wasn't our experience. Instead of writing polite responses, please provide proper customer service training to your staff. What was even more disappointing was the different treatment given to foreigners compared to local guests. As a local customer, I felt we were treated with far less respect, which is unacceptable. After leaving the Chinese restaurant, we returned to the bar-side restaurant. We wanted to order biriyani and devil pork, but we were told those items couldn't be served there because they were on a different menu. We were asked to sit outside if we wanted to eat. The outdoor table was dirty, with ants and bird dropping on it, making it impossible to enjoy a meal. We then moved inside, but the only available table was a very low coffee table, not a proper dining table. When we explained this to the staff, they simply said they couldn't do anything about it. This was an extremely disappointing experience. The beautiful property is being let down by poor customer service and unprofessional staff. Please focus on training your team to treat every guest with respect and provide the same standard of service to both local and foreign customers. Based on my repeated experiences, I would not recommend this hotel.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful experience at The Blue Water Hotel and Spa in Wadduwa. The hotel has a beautiful beachfront location with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The architecture and landscaping are stunning, and the large swimming pool is one of the best features of the property. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, courteous, and always ready to help. The food was delicious with a good variety of local and international options, making every meal enjoyable. Overall, The Blue Water Hotel and Spa is a great place for a relaxing getaway with family or friends. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, good service, and a peaceful beachside stay in Wadduwa.

The food was satisfactory, and the rooms were clean. The staff overall were friendly and welcoming. However, I did feel uncomfortable when some guest relations desk staff encouraged us to leave comments specifically mentioning their names. In my opinion, this practice does not reflect the standards expected of a five-star hotel. Aside from that, the overall service was good.
