Totally Scam‼️Be careful On September 30, I received a two-night complimentary room offer from The Venetian with offer code CM54DZ. On October 6, I used the offer link to book a two-night stay from November 21–23 to attend the F1 race. I entered my credit card information (even for a complimentary room they require a card for security deposit). At the time of booking, no charges were made and there was no indication that room rates would apply. However, when I checked out on November 23, I was unexpectedly charged $1,150.30 for the room. I went to the front desk and asked why, since my two nights were supposed to be complimentary from the casino. The front desk staff were very rude and told me that because demand was high during that period, the complimentary offer did not apply and I had to pay for the room. This is unreasonable because I had booked the stay almost two months before the race using the complimentary offer, and I am certain that at the time of booking there were no additional room charges shown. In fact, I even had a separate four-night complimentary offer from Fontainebleau for the same period, but I chose to stay at The Venetian for two free nights instead. The front desk told me to contact casino marketing. The casino staff then implied that because I did not gamble enough during my stay, they could not remove the room charges. This condition is not written anywhere in the complimentary room terms. I feel this is very fraudulent — they use the “free room” to lure you in, and then charge you over a thousand dollars for the room when you check out.

Though this was my first time in Las Vegas, I’m not sure there’s a more beautiful and skillfully created resort in this playground for adults. I just wasn’t prepared for the attention to detail that characterizes this stunning property. Rooms are gorgeous and wonderfully thoughtful in their design and utility. The friendliness of staff is contagious, and turned the old curmudgeon that I am into a fun-loving jolly old soul. I’ve never had a better time in my life!

*The Palazzo Room-Service Experience: Gourmet Prices, Gas-Station Aftertaste* Room service at The Palazzo isn’t just bad. It feels like a behind-the-scenes punishment for anyone too tired to leave the room. Everything tastes low grade in a way that isn’t subtle. You can practically feel the ingredients giving up. Most dishes arrive with that strange, desiccated texture you only get when something has been plated days in advance, forgotten in a fridge that runs on desert air, then reheated out of obligation. Yes, room service is always overpriced, but this goes beyond markup into performance art. The food has the unmistakable vibe of being sourced from a dollar store’s imaginary “expired items” aisle, then marked up ten thousand percent with a straight face. It’s almost impressive. Almost. If you stay at The Palazzo, do yourself a favor: order literally anything else from anywhere else. Even a gas station sandwich would taste fresh by comparison.

Bed super comfortable, room clean and spacious, appreciate the in room safe and fridge. Loved that there were 2 chairs for the table and a sectional couch for the sitting area. Front desk was courteous, Cashier and Rewards desk friendly. I asked Luggage attendant at checkout to take bags from room to car, and he only said he could if I was not stopping anywhere (which I wasnt) because it affected his other potential pickups. Husband in a wheelchair, needed the help, and I tipped appropriately for the time and bags. He would have been better off tipnwise if he hadn't made the comment

We enjoyed our stay at the Palazzo. I’ve stayed at Venetian before and the rooms in both buildings are very similar. The size of the rooms is fantastic and it was clean. There’s a lot to explore on the property. The spa was good and will be even better once the renovation is complete. So many pools and a lot of chairs with pretty good sun most of the day. I prefer Palazzo to Venetian because of the vibe (slightly trendier) and the pools (though you can use pools on either side). It’s on the north end of the strip so more walking to things south, but manageable for us. Though, sometimes we take a rideshare to save time, but it can be costly.
