Universal’s Endless Summer Resort - Surfside Inn and Suites

We had an excellent stay at Endless Summer Surfside. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival, which was a brilliant start to the trip. The staff were friendly, the overall vibe was great, and the whole place felt relaxed and welcoming. The shuttle service to the parks is outstanding — buses running every few minutes made getting around completely stress‑free. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and cleaned regularly throughout our stay. The pool area was a highlight. We spent a couple of days sunbathing there, and the nearby bar was perfect for drinks and snacks. The food in the on‑site restaurant was decent too, especially compared to typical theme‑park options. The location is also spot‑on: a 7‑Eleven and Walgreens right beside the hotel, and it’s close enough to ICON Park for an easy evening out when you want a break from the parks. My only tiny criticism — and it really is tiny — is the lack of evening entertainment. Even a bit of low‑key music until around 10pm would add a lovely atmosphere for families without making the place noisy. But that’s a small suggestion, not a complaint. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Surfside. Great value, great vibe, and a great base for a Universal trip.

Great hotel with a convenient shuttle to the parks and an excellent value for the price. The pool area had a relaxed atmosphere, and the bartenders were attentive and friendly. The café offered a variety of great food options, and the rooms were consistently clean and well-maintained. I also appreciated the room décor, which had a bright, summery feel. The Universal ticket counter in the lobby was very convenient, and the baggage storage service was handled professionally and efficiently. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Really can’t recommend this hotel enough. The location is perfect right on I drive so you can use the local restaurants and shops. The hotel transport is great 5 mins to universal 10 to volcano bay and 15 to epic and the run often all day! The one bed suite is great for a family with plenty off space( only rubbish point not much storage we took a wardrobe shelf hanger from ikea which fixed this) the unlimited drinks cup for the hotel was a bargain at 32 dollars for the full fortnight holiday pop juice and even coffee. Amazing holiday base for the money

I could not say more great things about this resort! Universal obviously prioritizes having a friendly and helpful staff. Every single employee we interacted with went above and beyond. The text option was great when requesting extra blankets, to skip housekeeping or to ask general questions. We had 2 people with us with food allergies and the Beach Break Cafe staff were AMAZING! Every time they brought out a chef to discuss the different allergies and would confirm before handing the food over. The food was surprisingly good for what i was expecting. We literally looked forward to eating there! We can’t wait to come back!

We had such an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The pool was perfect for my child—very accommodating and a great place to relax after a long day. I also really appreciated that there were lifeguards at the pool, which made me feel even more comfortable and safe. One of my favorite parts was that the pool stayed open later, so we could still enjoy it when we got back from the parks. The bar was also a highlight—great drinks and a really nice atmosphere. The staff truly made our stay special. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. Our room was spotless, and I really appreciated the daily room service. It was so nice coming back to a clean, refreshed space each day. I also loved the convenience of being able to text for anything we needed, like extra towels or even just a quick question—such a great feature! The only downside was that I accidentally left my flat iron behind, but I do appreciate that they took the time to look for it. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay here again!
