**Pleasant stay, but disappointed with room assignment and lack of compensation for outage** I booked my stay directly through the front desk in person. The staff member who assisted me was very friendly and helpful. I made the reservation one day in advance for a one night Saturday stay with my son. I requested a room with a nice view and paid an additional amount for that option. The total cost was approximately $418 for one night plus parkimg fees , which I consider a significant amount, so I had certain expectations for the room I was paying for. When I checked in, I was surprised to find that I had been assigned an accessible room. I respect the importance of these rooms for guests who need them, but I was confused because I had made the reservation directly with a front desk employee, and neither my son nor I require an accessible room. I believe I should have been informed or asked if this room aassignment was acceptable before being placed in it. Since I was traveling with a 7 year -old, he was naturally curious about the additional features in the room and wanted to explore everything. As a parent, I found myself having to constantly remind him not to touch certain items or equipment intended for guests with disabilities. This created an unnecessary concern during our stay and could have been avoided with better communication during check in. Another issue was the flashing light in the room overnight, which seemed to continue like an emergency light. It made me nervous, especially because I was worried someone outside might accidentally ring the bell, particularly with kids walking in the hallway. That added to the discomfort and made it harder to relax. The hotel itself was enjoyable, and the staff was friendly, which I appreciate. However, another disappointment was the power outage on Saturday, which lasted about two hours. I understand that unexpected situations happen, but there was no gesture of goodwill, partial credit, or compensation offered to guests afterward\. Overall, my stay was pleasant, but considering the price paid, I expected better communication regarding the room assignment and a little more consideration after inconveniences like the flashing light and the power outage.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were pleasant, friendly, and always available whenever I needed assistance. Their professionalism and willingness to help made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. Both the guest rooms and common areas were spotless and showed great attention to detail. It was clear that the staff takes pride in providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for their guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service, cleanliness, and a relaxing stay.

Had a great 3 night stay at Aventura with my teenage son while visiting Universal. The staff was super friendly and helpful and quick to answer questions. The price was really reasonable. The room was clean, comfortable and cool (wish they had lotion… only complaint). The hotel itself was really nice and modern. Got Starbucks and ate at Bar 17 (good food and service despite being very crowded). Another perk was the boat shuttle to the parks through Sapphire Falls next door. I’d definitely stay here when we visit again!

We’ve stayed at Universal’s Aventura Hotel the last two weekends in a row, and both times we had the pleasure of being helped by Laura at the front desk. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional each time we saw her. What really stood out was how genuinely friendly and helpful she was. After a long day of traveling or being at the parks, having someone greet you with patience and a positive attitude really does make a difference. Laura made us feel welcomed and taken care of, and it was great seeing a familiar, friendly face when we returned the following weekend. Thank you, Laura, for making both of our stays that much better. Universal is lucky to have you on their team!

This location is very slept on compared to its competitors. The hotel brings a modern sleek look. Very modern on entry, you have the front desk to the left and a bar, shop, and star bucks on first floor. A small arcade, and pool outside. As for the room its very clean with a modern look. Little tight which could be troublesome for bigger people but it was a nice room. You can request the views. And I recommend park view of universal. Seeing the volcano view is great but we paid 17 dollars more for skyline park view and had a great firerwork and light show from are room from universal. If you dont get a good room the top bar/ restaurant is amazing for you and your family. It views not only universal but volcano bay and you can see the epcot ball. You can see firer works from all parks. An the Korean food is amazing. The only cons I would say is this hotel seems more adult like. As for the modern look, two bars, and smaller pool. It is budjet friendly and your key card does work for the surrounding pools so you could go here and take your kid to cabana to swim but it great if your older looking for just a nice budget friendly stay.
