I went on a family girls trip the past week. I feel as though this hotel is a good hotel. A lot of things to do. Food was great & worth thepl price. I love the idea of paying once for a refill cup of any fountain drink you want for multiple days- that definitely helped save some money. The rooms were cozy & comfy - the noise level weren't too bad. The staff were very sweet, especially at the hideaway bar. The nachos are great! The jacuzzi was nice & the lazy river was nice as well - lazy river had great views. Didn't try the fire pit but I would definitely stay in the Cabana bay beach side hotel again. The shuttles take you to all the universal parks in Orlando which is convenient. Also users are efficient in the area of that hotel. The room service as far as cleaning could be a little better but if thsy improved it would definitely be a 5 star hotel- it's a great location in Orlando Florida.

I’ll give it a 5/5 and we’d definitely come back if they fix the alarms. The actual hotel is great, with lots to do, very easy and accessible to get to Universal. Videos attached of what went off middle of the night. Plenty to keep busy at the hotel from bowling alley to the pools and lazy river, with many food options breakfast lunch and dinner. There’s a Starbucks, diner with different food options, and a comprehensive Universal Gift Store. There are drink options at some bars for parents and adult guests as well. The resort will hold your bag if you arrive and head to the parks and has a specific desk that can help with any Universal tickets! Kid friendly, with a retro atmosphere, this hotel is close to the attractions and MCO airport. We’d definitely stay again. Hope they tell us what we were woken up for and put more hours in the day to catch up on sleep. the alarm system is broken or can’t be shut off when no emergency is found and has woken my family up in the middle of the night at different hours, around 2am, 4:15am, again at 4:48am, and at 5:29am, again at 6:32am, repeatedly playing over and over only for another recording to get on the loudspeaker and simply say theres no emergency. For a sample of what your night might sound like, you can listen to the attached videos playing one after the other over and over. Maybe a sprinkler head froze over night outside.

The hotel itself is amazing! Both pool areas are all great. The food choices are all great and you get your money's worth for what you pay. We bought the unlimited soda cups and got our money back on day 1. The 10 min wait to refill the cups is a little long but I understand the reasoning behind it. The busses came regularly to take you to the park so you didn't have to wait long. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only negative was the fridge was very loud in the room. Would definitely stay here in the future!!!

The resort is huge. Get a map, you might need it. But it's well worth it. Theres always something to do. 2 pools, bowling, a surprisingly large arcade and dining options. The hotel main areas are beautiful and look well maintained. The rooms are a good size and themed well. As many hotels age some rooms show their age more than others. Our room kind of showed it's age with dents in the drywall from the wall sconces and some laminate pulling away from the fridge door. The walk to Islands and Studios is quiet and tree lined when taking the Garden walk to the parks. You can also catch a boat at Saphire Falls. Overall a great stay. Would def book again.

I just got back from a 1 week stay with my daughter and grandchildren at Cabana Bay and we loved it. I did online check in while on the plane . This was important as when we arrived at the resort there was a huge check in line ( probably at least a 2 hour wait) and a small line with only 3 people in it who did online check in already. I only waited maybe 5 minutes when the most amazing staff member checked myself in and gave me an upgraded family suite ( I booked a standard suite ) for no additional cost. The room had everything we needed and was great for what we needed. There definitely was some wear and tear on the furniture but everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The resort itself is huge but has great heated pools and a few hot tubs as well we used. The kids loved the water slide. The bayside diner has reasonable prices, and a wide variety of food. The shake place is terrific and made great milkshakes. The hotel has a great walking path to City Walk and the parks. We did the walk the first 2 days then we started to take the path to Sapphire Falls where we would use the boats to go to the parks for the day and then return. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the boats and back. Overall it’s a fantastic resort for the price point and has easy access to City Walk and UIA USO . The early park access was also an added bonus. I also used the laundry facilities which came in handy and I appreciated how cash could be used everywhere . I would definitely not hesitate to stay here again.
