Here’s a polished, balanced review that highlights the positives while providing constructive feedback: We had a wonderful stay at Cabana Bay Beach Resort and would absolutely come back! The property is fantastic, especially for families. Our kids loved the lazy river and the pools, and one of our favorite perks was that they stayed open until 11:00 p.m. It was so nice to come back after a long day at the parks and relax with a swim. We stayed in a family suite, and the kitchenette was incredibly useful for storing snacks and making quick breakfasts and lunches before heading out each day. There was always something for the kids to do between the bowling alley, arcade, pools, and food court, making the resort feel like a destination of its own. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A special thank you to Bobby and Ami at the lobby bar—they were wonderful and made our evenings even more enjoyable. I do have two suggestions for improvement. If guests choose to keep the privacy sign on their door, it would be helpful if the resort offered convenient towel and toilet paper refill kits so they don’t have to give up their privacy for basic supplies. My biggest disappointment, however, was the comforters. They appeared unclean and didn’t feel freshly laundered, so we removed them from the beds and didn’t use them for the entire week. Paying closer attention to the cleanliness of the bedding would make a big difference in the overall guest experience. Overall, we had an excellent vacation, loved the resort, and would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I booked a short stay for our anniversary. We had a great time! Room was spacious, clean, very comfortable. The pools were amazing! Food offering was nice, for an extra charge of course but you get to choose from pizza, pasta, burgers, shakes…you name it, it may all be available. The shuttle to the parks are a huge plus, available every 15 minutes, but to be honest we didn’t have to wait on our way to the parks or back! The drinks at the pool bars were on point! A big shout out to DJ and Alfresco that had our drinks at the ready! We will definitely return! 💯% recommended!

A first family trip to Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort is another vacation in the memory books. The rooms were spacious for our personal needs with a kitchette. The pool area was always clean and refreshing with ample space for seating although it did get busy late morning to mid-afternoon. The cafe had several options but can get busy. The atmosphere was incredible and service was excellent. You can bus or walk to CityWalk, Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure but quick tip: walk over to Sapphire Falls and take the boat. We would stay here again without hesitation. 5 stars earned. Enjoy!

Had a wonderful stay at Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort! The large family suite was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The service throughout the resort was very friendly and welcoming, and we loved having so many food options available without needing to leave the property. One thing that really stood out was the recreation center team — when it suddenly started raining, they quickly organized a fun pop-up activity indoors so families could still enjoy themselves. That extra effort made us feel genuinely accommodated and taken care of. It turned a rainy moment into a really positive memory for our kids. Overall, a fun, family-friendly resort with great energy and thoughtful staff. We’d definitely stay again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was the best place we have ever stayed. The atmosphere is great with a cool retro theme and there is SO much to do without leaving the resort - restaurants, arcade room, bowling, fire pits, shopping at the Universal store, swimming with two pools (LOVED the lazy river, hot tub and beach area at Hidden pool). We had pizza delivered to our room one night when we were exhausted which was convenient. It was neat eating breakfast at the Bayliner Diner every morning with a beautiful view of the palm trees and Volcano Bay. We felt like we were somewhere tropical. Volcano Bay lights up beautifully with different colors at night. Transportation to the parks and City Walk was easy with frequent buses. We also took the nice walking path across the street to the Sapphire Falls resort to board the boats to City Walk, which was a short and relaxing ride. We utilized the Universal Super Star Shuttle which took us to our resort from the airport and back, highly recommend. Overall, an amazing vacation and perfect get away resort.
