Universal Terra Luna Resort

We had an excellent experience for our two night stay at the hotel. The location was convenient for our event at the Orange County Convention Center. Staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean, spacious, and we had a great view of EPIC Universe. The food in the hotel restaurant was not only good tasting, but a good value. The lobby bar has some great cocktails. We even took advantage of the in-room dining twice. The pool has a hot tub, life jackets, and lifeguards - and a fire pit area. I also liked that it was not a big as some of the other value resorts, so it didn’t feel too crowded. I would absolutely return to this resort. It exceeded my expectations.

Terra Luna is now my favorite Orlando Resort. I just did a split vacation : 1 week Terra Luna and 1 week Pop Century. Terra Luna is much, much better. It's not only newer, but rooms are larger, comfier, better designed, and overall nicer. There's little things like short walking distance to the omega cafe (making refilling the refillable mug much simpler to do than at the large Disney Resorts), 6! elevators, all walking done indoors (if it rains it's a non-issue to go eat), the view of Epic fireworks at 9pm from the room's window, the fantastic variety of drinks at the Coca-Cola freestyle stations (making the refillable mug a better value than Disney's), the restaurant menu having enough variety for a week long trip, the hot "to go" options at the omega market, even the rotating door design that keeps people entering from running into people leaving, all the little things add up to make a superior experience. Crucially, transportation to and from Epic/IOA/USF/VB being fast, comfortable and flawless (compared to the terrible lines I endured to board/transfer the Disney Skyliner at peak times, including collapse after park closing that got us sent late via bus from Caribbean to Pop). After staying at Terra Luna, my stay at Pop wasn't as gratifying, specially when transportation repeatedly becomes an issues big enough at Disney resorts to influence your plans. The simplicity of booking a vacation package was also a Plus for me: no complex "need a superior room to not be a mile away from the lobby", simple "all parks unlimited" tickets instead of complex monetizing "one park/hopper/water/etc" options. I can confidently say Terra Luna is better than all Disney Value resorts, and by a good margin. I don't see myself staying again at a Disney Value resort. Not even a Skyliner moderate. I'm a big Disney fan but If I'm lucky enough to return to Orlando (for me it's an international trip) I'm more likely to stay at Terra Luna or Stella nova than in Disney property.

We had an excellent stay here. The only thing lacking was a place to hang wet clothes in the room and they actual get dry in a reasonable time. There is a fun little arcade room to hangout in for a bit. The onsite food is good too. The pool was really nice, large, and only 4ft deep which makes it easy enough for kids to walk around in and parents not to worry about a deep end.

I had a 3 night stay, all days were awesome. I went to the pool and hot tub. This resort is close to their parks and other parks. The food is really good too, but my dad's salmon was cold, and he had to wait 40 minutes for it. Overall five stars

My new favorite value resort at Universal! The online check in was having issues prior to arrival, but I did not need to worry. I only waited about 3 minutes to check in. Even dropping off my luggage was effortless! The staff was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were able to hop right on the bus transportation so fast that there was no interruption in our day! We came back to a clean, gorgeous room! So spacious, and themed very well. The next morning, we purchased coffee and we were away to the next park. We came back for our transportation to the airport, and we were able to stay in the lobby. The rooms were quiet, and overall had a relaxing atmosphere here. I cant wait to come back!
