Universal’s Endless Summer Resort - Dockside Inn and Suites

​We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Universal's Endless Summer Resort! The rooms were perfect for us, providing excellent separate space for the adults to unwind while still keeping the whole family comfortable. ​From the very beginning, the experience was seamless—check-in was incredibly easy, and the parking setup was highly convenient. When we weren't at the parks, the pool and the excellent food court options made it incredibly easy to enjoy some downtime and just relax at the hotel. Everything about the resort made our trip smoother and more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Dockside Inn & Suites for 8 nights while attending a volleyball tournament, and it was absolutely perfect for our family. The location couldn't have been better—only about 3 miles from the Orange County Convention Center, with Uber rides averaging around $10, which made getting back and forth incredibly easy. The two-bedroom suite was spacious, comfortable, and gave everyone plenty of room to relax after long tournament days. We also loved the pools, which were a great way to unwind, and the lobby was beautiful, welcoming, and always well-maintained. One of the best things about this hotel is how convenient it is to everything. Whether we were heading to the convention center, the parks, or grabbing food nearby, it was all quick and easy. We truly loved every second of our stay and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend Dockside Inn & Suites for families, tournament travel, or anyone visiting the Universal area!

The Wave Maker bar 4th of July drink was exceptional and very decorative. To caveat off of the positive during our stay. While staying in Tower 2, I was disappointed to be charged for parking when the gated parking security was clearly not functioning as advertised. The main gate was not requesting credentials, the rear gate to Tower 2 remained open throughout our entire stay until checkout, and some gate arms were missing altogether. Charging guests for secured, gated parking under these conditions does not seem reasonable. If I wanted this situation I would have stayed at the Best Western. Additionally, I understand that the World Cup is currently taking place and that the hotel may be busier than usual. However, the lobby was consistently filled with loud, intoxicated fans shouting throughout the day and evening, which significantly impacted the guest experience. Finally, the wait times were unacceptable. We waited over 30 minutes to check in and then an additional 20 minutes just to get an elevator to our floor. This is a hotel, not a theme park. Essential services such as check-in and elevator access should be managed more efficiently so guests can get settled into their rooms in a timely manner.

Nice rooms, 2 big pools. Friendly service. Had the resort feel. Spacious parking. Busy traffic area. No eating places within walking distance. There is a Walgreens within walking distance. One elevator was not operating two of the days we were there which made that area super crowded waiting on elevators. We were on the 3rd floor, so we used the stairs a lot.

The staff were incredibly friendly throughout our entire stay and always went out of their way to help. The rooms were spotless and exceptionally well maintained. The team at the vacation desk was knowledgeable, helpful, and consistently provided excellent service. I recommend this resort 1000%! Although Universal classifies it as a "Value" resort, the service and hospitality feel truly luxurious.
