Went for IBS, checked in Tuesday and originally was meant to check out Thursday but we moved hotels mid day Wednesday. This place is below standards in room cleanliness, features, and service. Phones didn't work in both rooms (so you cant complain to guest services unless you call the automated robot line or wait in line at the front desk) Bathroom in first room floor was visibly wet (from what??). OK. Laminate peeling on the edges, you walk in and its spongey. They will send maintenance to fix this and argue with you about a new room after you have checked in saying other guests are accepting similar accommodations because of how booked they are. Once they relent and give you a new room- it won't be what you reserved. After trying to make you feel bad about being so booked, when you get to your room you'll see the lots mostly empty and plenty of rooms are ready for occupancy. Bathroom in second unit had hair on the ceiling and the shower was hot, water pressure was poor. Romel was rude and dismissive, which is surprising as his name tag said guest relations director. Kimberly was much more pleasant. Would never stay here again and will be disputing the second days resort fees as we were checked in for a grand total of 16 hours in this nightmare. According to Romel, its standard practice to deny any refunds and encouraged me to handle it with my bank (to be clear- was just looking for the resort fee not the extra day I was leaving on the table to keep sanity and leave this place). A warning to anyone considering spending money here, I am not the only one with issues lol looks like I should have checked the reviews!

Stayed here for my daughter’s volleyball tournament last weekend (stay and play requirement so had no option to stay elsewhere). The lobby, pool area, and local accommodations were pretty decent. Lobby/common area obviously got the most attention during their most recent updates. Most of the games in the arcade are not function which was very disappointing to the kids. The pool was warm and appeared to be pretty clean. However, they ran out of towels outside on two separate occasions, one of which left me stuck in the pool with my 2 year old son who was already cold. My wife had to run into the lobby to request more towels, only to be accosted by staff for dripping water into the lobby… if only she had a towel to dry off with right?! Now the room itself was a disaster. My wife had to clean and wipe every surface just to feel ok to stay. She saw hairs on multiple counter surfaces when we arrived. The TV would turn on to HDMI 2 but the remote in the room was unable to change the input, making it useless. Maintenance came up with 5 remotes after I called to complain… only for it to happen again the second the tv is turned off? Just leave the other remote then?? Ontop of that, the room had very low water flow and the toilet got clogged twice during our stay. No plunger in the room so once again had to call maintenance. All the cleaners and maintenance workers only speak Spanish, which is totally fine as long as someone in the crew can speak English to help effectively communicate needs and issues. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case and the front desk employees were as close to the intermediaries as you could find. My wife lost her diamond earring somewhere between the front desk check in, and our room. I notified the front desk and got the run around about house keeping and the lost and found process. The women working stated they had not been told by housekeeping if anyone found anything despite not checking anywhere or speaking to anyone in front of us? I guess we were supposed to just take her word? No follow up, no urgency to help us find it? The older gentlemen clerk took down my info and stated he would call after checking with house keeping but we never received a call at all? So we chalked that up as a loss… Overall not a great stay. Kids enjoyed the pool and most of the adults in our group enjoyed the bar/common areas… but there definitely is a lot of room for improvement.

Honestly deserves 4.5/5. Good room, good rate, polite staff and quick and easy check-in. Good price compared to others surrounding. Room was 4/5, clean comfy beds. Slightly outdated here and there but others complaining are exaggerating. Stayed one night after Disney and was pleased. Would definitely stay again.

The pool is their main plus here. Amazing pool! The rooms are a bit neglected, meaning, the exhaust fan doesn't work along with the in room phone(5107). The shower curtain is to small so water has a chance of spilling out onto the floor. We are not picky people so none of that matters to us, especially for the budget price. The hotel fills up with locals and some of them do not respect the "please be quiet after 10pm" rule. The bars are close and on the weekend they are very loud and you hear the bass from their music until they close. The staff is friendly and they do their best to meet your needs.

Had an amazing experience. Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly. Extremely close to all universal parks. Romel, the director of guest services, was exceptional and provided great service to not just me and my family, but all other guests. Would highly recommend coming here for the price and friendly staff!
