Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort

I stayed at Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort from Friday through Monday and unfortunately the experience did not reflect the $1,049.19 total cost of the stay (3 nights $815.25 + $101.94 taxes + $132 resort fees). Despite calling ahead to advise that we would be arriving close to midnight, we waited about 25 minutes to check in after a long drive. At 6:50 AM the next morning, the in-room fire alarm went off, waking my entire party. It sounded again around 7:00 AM. Maintenance responded and said it would be fixed while we were out. However, that same night at approximately 11:45 PM, the alarm went off again, requiring another visit. Being awakened multiple times by a malfunctioning alarm during a short weekend stay significantly disrupted our rest. On checkout morning around 9:20 AM, we were actively loading our vehicle. At 9:36 AM — before we had completed checkout — a staff member entered the room without confirming that all guests had departed. Regardless of the posted 10:00 AM checkout time, rooms should be verified vacant before entry. After I left the property, a manager apologized and offered a $150 credit. A second manager later stated that the 9:36 AM entry was “within normal parameters” because it was before 10:00 AM. While I appreciated the apology, the response did not feel proportionate to the overall experience. For a resort charging over $1,000 for a three-night stay, guests should reasonably expect functioning safety systems and clear room-access procedures. Unfortunately, this stay fell short of that standard.

We recently stayed in a 2bd/2ba villa here and I cannot speak highly enough about it. I will say, from the outside look, I thought it was going to be dated, but it was not. Beds were comfy. I loved having a full kitchen and full sized washer/dryer. I loved being able to do my laundry before I went home. We didn't get to use much of the resort as we were there for Disney, but I've heard great things about the pool area and we can't wait to return. Loved being close to so many eating establishments and we had the convenience of a walgreens just across one of the entrances. Felt very safe and was quiet, with the exception of hearing something on our first night and then realized it was Disney's fireworks. We couldn't see them, but they were done and we were off to sleep just after.

THE BEST VACATION SPOT! Spent a week here just after Christmas to after new years and I would definitely do it all over again! Hotel was clean, pools and restaurants were in great shape. Rooms were very clean, lots of space as well. All the activities they have around the resort are a amazing. Hot tub, pickle ball, basketball, tennis, golf and LAZY RIVER are fantastic, even loved it as an adult! They through a New Years party which was so much fun, even tho it was very cold that day and night it was still a blast! Definitely make sure you spend enough time at lazy River, so fun for adults and kids. If you’re a pop lover definitely worth buying the All you can drink cup, you can fill it up everywhere all over the resort, definitely worth the buy! I would definitely recommend this resort!

Me, my partner & 3 kids stayed. (15,3 & 2 years of age) Had a really lovely stay here. Breakfast was delicious! Rooms were spotless, spacious & well equipped. We ended up booking to stay for an extra day/night & spending the day in the fun land water park. Great atmosphere, plenty of good food & drink choices and very helpful staff. Overall a great experience & we will be going back. I would say it’s potentially one of the best resorts we have ever stayed on!

Love this Resort, it's a beautiful property and well maintained. Great location, lots of activities, Golf on property, cabanas, sandy area bye the lake, lazy river and multiple pools and very friendly and helpful staff. FYI: This Resort is not all inclusive and it's very large. They offer shuttle service if you want to get around the property and not use your car.
