Truly gross. The word luxury does not belong anywhere near this property, nor is it in the ballpark of a four star resort. The rooms are beat and deeply need a refresh. The checkin process was hideous. Long and unsympathetic. We were not given a room until 5pm, and the room was disgusting. It smelled and looked like someone had been living in it for a month, smelled like fish/vomit, and had spills, stains, sticky areas everywhere. No attention to detail. Our second room we were moved to was much cleaner but lacked all throw pillows, extra decor, and was just bare bones. Everyone working there seemed miserable. There was no warm hospitality. We were made to feel like a bother the entire time until a thank you at check out. We stay at a Marriott vacation club property every year and never had such a disappointing experience. We chose this property for its “recent renovations” and four star designation. It did not meet the mark. Will not stay again.

Absolutely gorgeous property that's constantly being maintained by an incredible staff of housekeepers, maintenance crews, and landscapers. My room was alllllll the way at the end and even though I arrived late at night and b bedraggled by a day of travel, checking in couldn't have been easier. Security was fast on the scene when I couldn't get into my room and were super kind and helpful. The room was lovely, bright and airy with a balcony, and the shower was incredible. Would absolutely stay here again.

We call this resort our home away from home. We have been coming here for over 20 years and the rooms are always updated, the service is impeccable and this year they have really paid special attention to entertainment. We were welcomed at registration and checkin was very welcoming, courteous and fast. Abdellah helped us with our luggage. We saw him throughout our stay and he continuously recognized us, said hello with a warm smile and offered us water (which was greatly appreciated in hot Florida temps) We opened the door to our 2 bedroom suite which was in building 80. We overlooked the pool from the fourth floor, had TWO balconies, a kitchen, living room, a beautiful master with accessible shower, dining room and enough sleeping space for at least 8. One day we had issues with our room lock and Deen from security helped with a smile and tons of patience. There was entertainment by the pool with swim aquatics, poolside movies, music trivia and at nights there was live entertainment poolside. (The acoustic guitar on Wed night was one of the best I've ever heard!) If you are coming to Florida for vacation or even a STAYcation, Marriott Grande Vista is the place to be. Great value, beautiful rooms, great service, 4 plus pools and hot tubs, a beautiful lake , pickleball, tennis and basketball courts and convenient to the theme parks and all major highways. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We booked this stay last minute for spring break after changing plans due to weather, and it honestly worked out great. We even arrived a couple hours early and our room was ready right away, which made things much easier traveling with a family of five. The suite layout was perfect for us. We had a golf course view which was really nice, and the beds were extremely comfortable easily one of the best we’ve slept in. The shower was also a standout. The pools were heated, hot tubs were great, and the splash areas kept the kids entertained. It was busy for spring break, but not overwhelming, so we were still able to enjoy everything. Location is also very convenient for getting to the parks. Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars—food options are pretty limited and get repetitive quickly. Also, the automatic gratuity when using a room charge, plus additional $30 day parking fee, felt a bit excessive. Overall, a really solid stay and we’d definitely consider coming back.

Love staying at the Marriotts Resorts. The Grand Vista is one the biggest resort and oldest I believe of the Marriott. Several pools, little restaurant / grill / bar, cotton candy shop (delicious...BTW) fishing, boating, golfing, pickle ball courts, activities all thru the day and week for all ages. One down fall is some of these activities have a extra charge including golfing, pickle ball, fishing, boating, .....HELL TO COME TO THINK ABOUT IT I THINK SWIMMING AND WALKING ARE THE ONLY ACTIVITIES THAT ARE FREE 🤦🏼‍♀️I MEAN MAYBE MOVIES AND QUIZZES. And I know Marriott isn't the only ones that do it I know we have stayed before at place and wasnt chargesd for using amenities .... now we out do more out side the resort just saying Marriott
