Wonderful staff in a superb hotel with something for everyone. My partner and I stayed at the Medina Gardens for one week end of July beginning of August. The hotel is amazing value and is in an excellent location for exploring Marrakech. It was incredibly hot and the Medina in Marrakech can be overwhelming but it is a must visit in the daytime and at night. The food at the hotel is excellent and there is a wide variety with different themes like Mexican, Indian, seafood etc. There is also a place where you can have lunch near the pool with delicious pizzas and burgers. There is also a restaurant you can book for a special occasion called the Culinarium where you can have a delicious three course dinner. The drinks at the hotel are brilliant and they provide a very nice selection. Be sure to fully explore the hotel, my partner and I were still finding things on our last day. The hotel is spotless with the staff up early every morning to make sure of that. The entertainment is good especially the pool party (don’t miss it!). I highly recommend getting a traditional couples hamam at the hotel spa, it’s so relaxing and you feel squeaky clean afterwards. It is all the staff at Medina Gardens that made our trip to Morocco amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing holiday. Thanks again to this great hotel and it’s incredible staff for giving us a wonderful holiday in Morocco.

We are still present at the hotel as I write this coming to the last day of our week long stay - all in all, a lovely break. Reasonably priced, great people working the hotel and naturally the blessing of Marrakech as the great city it is. Not all good however, the religious holiday appears to have caused staff numbers to be lowered sadly, evidently different standards at the start of the seven day break to it's end. Cleanliness also not meeting the standards particularly in the outdoor communal areas. That said, food lovely, weather great, plenty to do and yes, value considering what was paid. We feel our next visit to Marrakech will see us back at the Riad. Thank you to all the staff.

Avoid this hotel. The hotel is very small and you genuinely feel cramped/suffocated from the moment you arrive. The buffet is poor and the food feels recycled: the cheese had visible spots, as if it had been left out exposed to air without any protection. The chicken roll was tough and dry, as if it had been sitting out overnight. The pool is also tiny, which adds to that closed-in feeling. Compared to other options in Marrakech at a similar price point, like the Riu or Be Live, this hotel falls well short — those offer much more for the same money. The rooms are cramped, well below what you'd expect for the city's standard. The property itself is dated and poorly maintained. Management tries to make up for it with friendly staff and smiles, but that doesn't make up for the structural shortcomings. Bottom line: skip this one.

The best things by far, are the amazing staff (so friendly and attentive) and the location. Just a short walk from the nearest Souk. The food was really mediocre in my opinion. Buffet is full of cheap carb dishes, and the quality of the meat is poor and not a great selection. The a la carte restaurant food was really not good (lamb tagine was pure bone and grease, with no accompaniments). Drinks were okay. Would have been nice to have better/more included beer and wine options. Entertainment was as expected. A couple of the local acts were good.

Fantastic location right next to the center of Marrakech. But here’s the good bit. This place is a tranquil oasis. The peace and quiet interrupted by the birds singing their hearts out. Every single staff member was great. Especially the staff in the main restaurant. Food was quite good. Drinks could have done with more of an alcohol content as they seemed weak. Heed this advice! Refuse to go to suite/block 3 as there is a nightclub situated right above the block and you will have no peace and quiet till 2am in the morning . Which will be supplemented by furniture being moved around till 4am in the morning. Also there’s is no custard (crème Anglaise) or ice cream available to go with the fruit or deserts, which there are dizzying amounts to chose from. The pools were clean and the perfect temperature for me. The gardens were immaculate. But not my type of gardens as I prefer more emphasis on helping out wildlife with bird boxes and insect hotels. Although there was plenty of birds making the gardens their home it seemed. Overall fantastic value for money and if I was to visit Marrakesh again. Medina Gardens would be my first choice.
