We booked a king room with a terrace city view and it was perfect to relax on after a busy day walking around the city. The lobby was clean, cozy, and all of the staff were extremely kind. The room was cozy and everything worked. It was a great location, close to everything but on a quiet street with ton of coffee shops nearby. It was genuinely perfect! We would definitely stay here again :)

My wife and I absolutely LOVED our stay at Arlo Midtown. Every staff member we encountered in the lobby, bar, and bodega was wonderful. The staff member who went above and beyond was Areis. My wife and and I were celebrating our 6-year wedding anniversary. Areis made us feel special and made our experience one that we will never forget. We are so appreciative and thankful for Areis. He is the reason we will continue to visit and stay at Arlo Midtown. Thank you so much Areis. You are the bomb.com! We look forward to our next visit!

This hotel is in a great location. The lobby is nice with places to hang out, and there’s a gym with a good amount of equipment and a separate stretching/TRX room. The rooms are quite small, I guess smaller than we expected even for NYC. We ended up needing to change rooms because the first one had the bed pushed up against the window which makes it louder for sleeping and makes it difficult to charge devices (there’s no nightstand on that side). Unfortunately, we didn’t sleep too well the four nights we were there due to the street noise (and we were on the 21st floor) and the AC unit was constantly blowing hard, even set at a slightly warmer temperature. Decent stay, but we likely won’t choose this hotel again.

Kenneth greeted us with charm & a smile & made our stay perfect. Nothing was too much & the hotel has everything you need to be comfortable whilst exploring NYC. Only a short walk from Times Square. We went as a family with friends & highly recommend staying at the Arlo. Excellent hotel in an amazing city full of lovely people. What a place

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at the Arlo Hotel bar deserves honest feedback. My sister and I stopped by around 6pm on black friday and were served by a short, small-built, white Hispanic bartender with a tattoo on his right arm. He never introduced himself, so we don’t know his name-that’s the only reason we have to describe him. From the start, the service felt unwelcoming. Another bartender kindly gave us water as we sat down, but the bartender handling our drinks immediately questioned him—in Spanish—asking why he was giving us water since we “didn’t ask for it.” Not a great beginning. I ordered a Moscow Mule, which arrived in a regular glass instead of the standard copper mug, and the drink tasted off. My sister’s mojito was mostly ice. When we asked whether happy hour applied—since it was happy hour—we were told our drinks weren’t included. That would have been fine if it had been said politely, but instead he responded with a condescending tone, saying “Knowledge is power,” and telling us we could “check the menu if we don’t believe him.” We had no idea about the restrictions because they were never mentioned before ordering. At most bars, the staff points that out so guests can decide. Overall, his attitude was dismissive, unprofessional, and unnecessarily rude. For a hotel known for hospitality, this was disappointing. The other staff we encountered were kind, but this one bartender left a genuinely negative impression. I hope management takes this seriously.
