Gio made our stay absolutely perfect! We love coming to Midtown, and honestly, he’s a big reason why. Gio made sure every need was met and then some, and he truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. My fiancé and I absolutely loved our room. It was huge, spotless, and had an amazing view. The bed was so comfortable and made it easy to relax after a long day. The food was amazing as well and made the experience even better. The elevator system was very easy to use and understand, which made getting around the hotel effortless. We also really enjoyed the Diamond Lounge. It was very nice, and the staff there were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Everyone we spoke with throughout our stay was friendly and helpful. Overall, we had an amazing experience and can’t wait to come back!

My stay at Hilton Midtown New York was outstanding from start to finish. Every part of my experience exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the entire hotel had a welcoming, upscale atmosphere. The customer service was truly five-star—every employee I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. I was in New York for Jay-Z’s three-night concert weekend, and staying here made the trip even more memorable. After long days and exciting nights, it was a pleasure returning to such a clean, relaxing, and well-managed hotel. I also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and ordered the salmon, which was absolutely superb. It was one of the highlights of my stay and a great dining experience. I don’t know the hotel’s official star rating, but it honestly felt like a seven-star experience. The level of hospitality, attention to detail, and overall excellence made me feel valued as a guest from check-in to check-out. A heartfelt thank you to everyone on the staff for making my visit so enjoyable. Your professionalism and kindness did not go unnoticed. This level of service is a true testament to the outstanding leadership and management at Hilton Midtown New York. Keep up the incredible work—I will gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York City.

Skip. It. I hate to say this, but there are far better hotels in the area. It is in a convenient location to Midtown, but that's about it. The hotel is huge, which makes it pretty surprising there aren't really any good food options on site. There are three areas in the lobby, but one was closed when I was there. One is a grab-and-go type sandwich/pastry booth, and the last offers a continental breakfast that is around $40 and the ryoival fare would would find at Hamptons Inn for free: fruit, yogurt, muffins, eggs etc. The elevators are currently being renovated and hit or miss. They can take awhile to arrive. As for the rooms. I was actually surprised at how large my room was. Especially for NYC. But it was in need if a little TLC. The chair was very worn, the light flickered, and there was no hot water the 2nd morning. I will say that at the staff gets 5 stars. The bellmen were helpful and friendly. The concierge suggested a very nice Italian restaurant around the corner for dinner (Il Corso). But overall, I wouldn't suggest staying at the New York Hilton Midtown.

First time visiting. The staff was amazing, aside from the pushy Hilton honors people who try to accost you as you’re walking through the lobby. The beds were mediocre, and had I had a say in where we stayed, this would not have been it. The bathroom had zero ventilation, so anything put in there was consistently damp from the shower, even with the door left open. The towel rod was coming out of the wall and no matter how far away we placed the bath mat, it always got wet, because the ADA accessible shower did not have correct sloping. Speaking of ADA, the seat for our mobility challenged friend was hard to get down and she never put it back up because she was afraid she wouldn’t be able to get it back down. The elevators were sketchy, sometimes they worked, sometimes you got kept from using them completely. They were working on them throughout our entire 4 nights there and one of those nights we got blocked from using the elevators that go to our specific floor. We were happy to use the service elevators, that we had been assured we could use at any time, and that was the only moment we had any attitude or pushback from any staff. We were on the 23rd floor with a mobility scooter and he tried to tell us we could not use them but changed his mind when we pushed back. The AC unit needed a filter change and they put four of us in a room that should have been for two, according to the AC maintenance person. He was lovely and got a fan sent up, which helped, but the room never cooled down enough to be comfortable, especially in the sticky heat outside. It may have just been the one room, but it was not a great experience for me or my roommates and I hope they consider doing some upgrades, considering how much they charge for rooms, even in midtown.

We recently stayed at the Hilton Midtown New York and overall had a very positive experience. The hotel's location is one of its biggest strengths. It's perfectly situated in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, making it walking distance to so many iconic spots – Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, and Fifth Avenue shopping are all just a short stroll away. 7th Ave Subway is round the corner which you can transit almost anywhere. Our room was an Urban Room, and we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and well-appointed it was. While New York hotel rooms are notoriously small, this one felt bigger than most we've experienced in the city. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the room had a nice, contemporary feel without being cramped. The only real downside we encountered was the elevators. During peak times (especially in the morning and evening), we often had to wait quite a while for a lift. It could get frustrating when you're in a rush or carrying bags, but this seems to be a common challenge in many large Midtown hotels. Service was friendly and efficient, and the hotel facilities were well-maintained, however some places needed abit of TLC. If you're looking for a reliable Hilton in a prime Midtown location with comfortable rooms that punch above their size, this is a great choice. We'd happily stay here again on our next trip to New York.
