I would give this place five stars without hesitation. I stayed at the hotel for one night, and everything truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were exceptionally helpful, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The rooms are modern, spotless, and beautifully maintained. We stayed on a higher floor, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Our windows opened to two different views, and it was honestly mesmerizing—I couldn’t imagine anything more beautiful. When I first checked in, I didn’t have particularly high expectations, but this turned out to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The bathroom was clean and spacious, the room was large and incredibly comfortable, and every detail felt thoughtfully done. Pure delight from start to finish. Thank you so much—if I return to New York, I already know exactly where I’ll be staying again

Review for: M Social Hotel New York Downtown (formerly Millennium Downtown New York) We stayed over Thanksgiving and honestly couldn’t praise the staff enough. From the moment we arrived, the doorman helped us with our luggage and made us feel welcome. We arrived a little before check-in and needed to use the bathroom while waiting — the team kindly coded us a keycard so we could access the lobby facilities, which was such a thoughtful touch. There were plenty of comfortable seats in the lobby and it allowed us time to admire the lovely Xmas tree and decorations. To our surprise, we were called to the desk earlier than expected and checked into our suite ahead of time by a lovely lady (I didn’t catch her name — sorry!) who couldn’t have been more accommodating. The elevators were quick and smooth all the way up to the top floor and down with no waiting time. The views from the landing windows — and especially from our suite — were absolutely breathtaking. Our daughters spent so much time looking out over the National September 11 Memorial & Museum and the distinctive Westfield “Oculus” roof at Westfield World Trade Center. Looking the other way, we had incredible views of the Hudson River. The sunrise and sunset photos we captured will stay with us forever — truly special memories. The Christmas decorations and tree in the lobby made everything feel even more festive, and every single member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Location-wise, it couldn’t have suited us better. There were food trucks right outside the hotel, and plenty more options along the surrounding streets. Everything we needed was within easy walking distance, from local supermarkets, Joes Pizza, Target, a comic shop which the kids loved. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again — the service and location were both 10/10. Thank you to the whole team for such a lovely stay.

I came here recently when I took a trip to the area with a group from college. Our university’s money was having issues but they were very accommodating and worked with us. The rooms are quite nice and I really enjoyed the view, makes it very worth it. My battery on my door ended up dying and they were really accommodating about it and kind. The elevators are actually quite fast for such a large building. The staff were all really kind and fun to watch interact with other guests. The shower is a little confusing and hard to turn on at first, it took a lot of pushing on it to get it to turn on. AC is also a little loud.

The restaurant also deserves special praise the waiters and managers were wonderful, very responsive and professional. I especially appreciated the fast and easy access via QR code to the chat service, where any question or request was handled quickly and efficiently The rooms are clearly modern, very clean, and beautifully maintained. The views from the higher floors are absolutely breathtaking. We stayed on the 51st floor, and it was truly mesmerizing. Our windows opened to two different views, and I honestly could not imagine anything more beautiful! When I first checked into this hotel, I didn’t have particularly high expectations but it turned out to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The bathroom was clean and spacious, the rooms were large and comfortable. I was traveling with a small child, and I really appreciated that the room felt safe, with no sharp corners Pure delight from start to finish. Thank you so much and if I return to New York, I already know exactly where I will stay again ❤️ I also arrived well before the official check-in time, and to my delight, I was given access to my room several hours early at no extra charge. After a long and exhausting journey, this was incredibly thoughtful and truly made my day, I was absolutely thrilled As a lovely bonus, we were welcomed with a complimentary fruit platter, which was such a warm and generous touch! I was super impressed by my stay here! Antonio and Denise at the front desk were friendly, helpful, and accommodating from check-in to check-out. After a long day of travel in, they made a great first impression of my time there. The view from the room was by far, one of these best hotel views I've ever had. The room looked over the World One building, 9/11 memorial, and the river. It was really nice to just sit in the window sill and soak up the views. The restaurant in the hotel lobby had great cocktails and small bites. Breakfast (sandwiches, yogurt, fruit cups, etc.) and coffee was available for purchase both in the lobby and for room service. Some people mentioned the elevators slow and water pressure low, but honestly, neither were the case for me. Super hot water, nice pressure, and quick elevators. I honestly have zero complaints. With the weather being as cold as it was, I was appreciative the hotel was very close to 2 subway stations. It made getting around a total breeze.
