I came here recently when I took a trip to the area with a group from college. Our university’s money was having issues but they were very accommodating and worked with us. The rooms are quite nice and I really enjoyed the view, makes it very worth it. My battery on my door ended up dying and they were really accommodating about it and kind. The elevators are actually quite fast for such a large building. The staff were all really kind and fun to watch interact with other guests. The shower is a little confusing and hard to turn on at first, it took a lot of pushing on it to get it to turn on. AC is also a little loud.

Cannot say enough good things about the M Social Downtown and their staff. The building is super safe with key card swipes to your floor and multiple front desk situations. We were stuck here during a severe snowstorm and the staff helped us stay in the same room, provided limited but super helpful housekeeping, and continued complimentary water bottles. The restaurant downstairs was tasty and the front desk team was readily available and very easy to work with. This made a stressful extended stay so much more relaxing. Regardless of the storm, the room was spacious and clean and the hotel provided all amenities expected and even more.

Great hotel! My partner and I stayed here for about a week and we really enjoyed it. The location is magnificent, you have the World Trade Center right in front, easy access to the subway and Brooklyn, as well as nearby pharmacies and restaurants. I must say, we stayed in the 40th something floor and it had one of the greatest views I’ve had in a hotel (as you can see in the pictures). The room was good, very spacious. Would appreciate that you could use steaming services on the TVs tho… Bathroom was also very nice. The shower was a bit hard to figure out haha but besides that I don’t have anything bad to say. The one downside are the elevators. My god they take soooo long to go up and down. Not sure if all of them were working. The staff was very nice too! Would absolutely come back!

William was an angel I would return just to see him again!! Treated us amazing. The views 10/10 Wanted to come back and add!! I had a really great experience during my stay in New York, and I especially want to recognize Mike, the manager. He took the time to help me clear up some confusion with my charges and made sure everything was handled properly. Customer service like that does not go unnoticed. He made me feel taken care of and genuinely valued as a guest. This has easily been one of the best hotel experiences I have had, and I will definitely be coming back. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

We booked M Social several months ago, but when we arrived today, we were shocked to be told that the hotel was overbooked. And I even emailed them to ckeck my bookings and they also confirmed a week ago. Before sending us to Residence Inn, M Social assured us that we would receive a room of equivalent value at the same rate. However, we paid USD 490 per room per night, but residence inn only gave us the room with USD 230 per room per night. M Social's handling of this situation has been extremely irresponsible. We made our reservation months in advance and expected the hotel to honor our booking or provide a truly comparable alternative. This experience has been very disappointing and ridiculous.
