The room was like a youth hostel for one -- you're really just getting a bed and bath. The room was dingy, the air conditoner barely worked (made worse by the fact that the window had been left open on a summer July day), the toilet ran constantly, and there was an ongoing mechanical whooshing sound from the hallway. If you only need a place to lay your head at not, and you're not a sensitive sleeper, this could good be a good spot if you want a room that costs less than other Times Square hotels (but by no means cheap).

All the reviews there are real. After checking in the hotel and having an unhappy experience, I checked the reviews and found I resonated so much with those negative comments. Please avoid this hotel. For a few tens of dollars you can get a much better one with an air conditioner. You don't have to live in a sauna room.

This hotel just kind of sucks all around. The only thing it has going for it is the location. Otherwise it's very poor for the price. The rooms are very small and basic. It's just a bed which fills the entire room - not even a chair or anything. There's a window but it faces another building 1 foot away, so there's very little light and it feels like perpetual nighttime. The building is old and in rough shape. Elevators are small and slow with inadequate capacity. Soundproofing is terrible - I could hear loud and clear every time someone walked past my door, every time the elevator opened, and even every time the person above me turned over in their bed. And my bed was equally creaky - sorry to whoever was in the room below me. There are no amenities whatsoever. Not even so much as a place to get drinking water (the water from the room taps tasted awful). It lacks even the most basic things you'd expect from any half-decent hotel.

The pictures of the lobby are the only accurate pictures. Our room was horrible. The beds are directly on metal frames with no box spring. You would think they would only do that on a platform. The walls and base boards are scuffed up and not maintained. The room only had 1 window that didn't let in any natural light. The front desk staff did try to move our room to try to accomodate but the next room was only slightly better. It still was not what I was expecting based on posted photos and the price being paid. The location is good. I would never recommend staying here to a friend or family.
