We were looking for an affordable hotel with a family of five. The hotel exceeded all expectations. Good size rooms for New York, very conveniently located. Very clean and good facilities. The staff at the hotel really set it apart - everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming and above all helpful and would go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing 4 night stay in Aug 2026. The staff was very kind and service was exceptional. The rooms are clean and beds are comfy. It's a steal for the price considering the location and comparing to other properties in the vicinity. Rooms are small which is expected in this neighborhood. Noise is very well contained if tge windows are kept locked. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Overall enjoyed my stay here. Had a High room which was nice for the street noise and I heard next to nothing up there. Room was good and clean but a pretty standard hotel experience. Only cable no streaming services. One area that I think the hotel could improve on is the shared spaces especially the lobby and elevator area. It seemed very dark in both of those spaces and there was a good amount of wear and tear. It is the first impression that guests have coming in so a little paint/new lighting would go a long way.

I rarely post on hotels but the standard out service of 2 people actually stuck with me. Its like they were there day and night and made the travel to NYC from Australia the most pleasant experience. Jose and Edris (hope thats correct) greeted with a smile every day and night, nothing was a problem for them or the team, pleasant and such a pleasure that did not go unnoticed. Thanks for making my quick trip from Australia sensational. I travel HEAPS and first time ive left a hotel a review and only due to the unwarranted efforts of these guys. Now not saying everything else wasn't great. Room service attendants great, burgerology and staff great as expected but when things stand out it goes noticed... Ill be back

I enjoyed my stay here very much. It is clean and well run. The staff are responsive and gracious. Jennifer at the front desk (as well as Juls) were immensely helpful to help me find a nice room and help me recover something I accidentally left in the room which was valuable. They were amazing in terms of service. Tips For Your Stay: 1. Ask for a high floor to reduce noise if you can as it is NYC. 2. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner if you have certain brands you prefer. Otherwise you can use the hotel brand. 3. Walk down the block to have a snack or breakfast at Essen. 4. Be prepared for lots of Europeans this summer who are here for the World Cup!!
