We stayed at your hotel from December 24 to December 30, and it was our very first trip to New York City. This visit will stay in our hearts forever, largely thanks to our wonderful experience at your hotel. I would like to especially thank the front desk staff member, Jane. When she found out it was my birthday, she kindly upgraded us to the best room in our category — a beautiful corner room with an amazing view of Lower Manhattan. Her thoughtfulness and warm attitude made our stay truly unforgettable. Jane was incredibly helpful with every request — always quick, friendly, and solution-oriented. That kind of service is rare and truly appreciated. Breakfast was included in the stay, and we loved that it was possible to take food to-go — we often enjoyed it in our room. Housekeeping came daily, everything was clean, and the 17th floor was impressively quiet, even in such a busy city. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. The service, comfort, and hospitality were top-notch. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York City!

I enjoyed a comfortable stay at Residence Inn. The service was friendly from the moment that I walked in and was greeted by two friendly faces at the front desk and checked in earlier than I expected!! They were awesome! Thank you Jane B, Annabelle, and Chris for making me feel special on day 1!! Thank you all for the bottles of water that you offered. Shout-out to Jorge at the bar for making our team delicious drinks and providing friendly service the entire time during our stay. Thank you Alex, staff that I met in the elevator, for being friendly and helping me during my stay. The rooms were larger than expected for New York City. My room was clean, comfortable, and it had a small size kitchen with a full size refrigerator. The fitness center was great and I was able to get a good workout in the mornings before leaving. Breakfast was offered by the hotel each morning for about 3 hrs. The location is just steps away from Freedom Tower and the World Trade Center memorial. Only steps away from our business meeting location. Perfect spot to be near restaurants and site seeing locations.

This was such a good location for our needs on our trip to Manhattan. It is a very easy walk to the World Trade Center area and everything else in lower Manhattan. Easy walk to Whole Foods to stock up your kitchen in the room. There are many subway lines you can catch from WTC or Fulton Street. The hotel doesn't have as much food options as some other Marriotts but they give you a per diem to spend on food/drink in their little shop which helps. The elevators are fast which is really helpful when staying in a busy 19 floor hotel! We found all the staff friendly & helpful and really enjoyed our stay.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. During our stay, I noticed multiple reddish-brown stains throughout our room that appeared consistent with blood and had not been fully cleaned. Initially, I observed stains in the bathroom, but after looking more closely I found additional stains on the walls, curtain, and even the ceiling. Several areas appeared as though someone had attempted to clean them but had not completely removed the staining. Whether the substance was blood or something else, the condition of the room was unacceptable for a Marriott branded property. If it was blood, it also raises obvious health and safety concerns, as guests should never have to wonder whether they may have been exposed to bodily fluids that were not properly cleaned and sanitized. The issue was not a single overlooked spot. It was multiple stains located throughout the room. My concern is about the apparent lack of thorough inspection and cleaning before the room was assigned to a guest. Cleanliness is one of the most basic expectations when staying at a hotel, and unfortunately this room did not meet that standard. I documented the condition with photographs and hope the hotel addresses these issues so future guests do not have the same experience.

Hotel is in a safe location and near several tourist spots. It’s NYC so it’s going to be a loud city regardless of where you are stay. It’s not a huge hotel so there will be some noice coming from the streets, but that’s normal and didn’t affect the review. We were checked in by Naomi who was very nice. The hotel was clean. There’s a fridge, cutlery, plates, fridge, microwave. Breakfast was your usual hotel breakfast. It was very clean and well maintained.
