The hotel was in a great location. No more than a 5 minute walk to the nearest station for travel, walking distance to time sq & central park. The rooms had everything we needed but we had 4 people in a room that was the same size as my brother had for 1 person minus a bed. So it was pretty cramped for us. Luckily it was just a place to sleep & wash. The shower was great very powerful. Clean towels provided everyday. WiFi was a nightmare! Didn't work for the first 5 days even sat in reception I was able to connect to the restaurant next door before the hotel itself. Rooftop bar was lovely & staff at every interaction were friendly & helpful. Also bottled water was provided when ever requested. Id definitely stay here again but not as a family of 4 perfect for a couple or singleton

Snagged a great deal for this place. Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were always nice and helpful. The location was great. The rooftop bar was so much fun. The room showed a bit of its age and could use some minor cosmetic touches, and the mattresses could've been a smidge comfier, but not the end of the world. After a few days, it really felt like home. I would definitely stay here again.

I honestly had a great time during my stay in this hotel! Great music and vibes in the lobby, the rooftop bar is amazing, they also give as many as water bottles you can carry! Haha The rooms were good I just wished the bathroom was bigger but overall good! The staff is the highlight of the hotel! Great staff! Leslie, Audry and Ari were incredible and made me feel like I was in my own home! Thank you guys!! I will definetly come back!!

Had a really nice stay at The Empire Hotel. The location is amazing, especially if you’re going to Lincoln Center or exploring around Fifth Avenue. Being able to walk back from the ballet in just a few minutes was perfect. The front desk team was always friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Pasquale who checked me in, he was genuinely kind and made me feel at ease straight away. Housekeeping was also fantastic, the room was always clean and well taken care of. My room was bigger than I expected, with a lovely sofa and a great view over Dante Park. The hotel could use a bit of updating in some areas and I had one very cold night as only one heater was working, but the staff quickly helped with an extra blanket which I really appreciated. WiFi worked well and it was nice to have bottled water provided daily. Overall, even if it’s not brand new, the staff and the location really make it worth it. I would definitely stay again.

The Empire is a great deal (usually) in a great location, with friendly, helpful staff. The roofttop bar offers wonderful views amd decent drinks. The rooms are very small, even by NYC standards. And long in the tooth; while not dirty, they are definitely worn, approaching (but not reaching) shabby. But the beds are comfortable and the bedding clean and NOT worn feeling like the rest of the room. So long as your expectatioms are appropriate, it is a great value. We've staued several times and expect to stay agaim
