I I highly recommend this resort!
I arrived here about two weeks before hurricane Melissa struck. The views were stunning. The beach was raked every morning to look brand new every morning. The food was very good, the people and staff, incredible and attentive, music, drinks and a staff that genuinely cares! However, once hurricane Melissa came to this area, where the Resort is, is when I really saw what this Resort and it’s people are all about!
While they had their own families and homes to care for, they made sure that every guest was safe from this hurricane and took great care to make sure everyone had food, was in secured rooms and was well taken care of and given good communication. The preparations they took for the hurricane were systematic , well organized, and they were well prepared, and their buildings were built so hurricane resistant that they were strong enough to resist the storm.
Thanks to their efforts, all of us were well and safe! It is one thing to have a nice resort and beautiful views and food and drinks and music and enjoy yourself. It is quite another level when there is an emergency and you see how well everyone performed here and what length they went to make sure we were all safe before, during and after the storm.
Every staff member from customer service, front desk to maintenance, maids, bellmen and chefs and servers and others were all incredible!
They revealed who they really are, beautiful people mostly from Jamaica some from Mexico with great leadership, and a great team. I am forever appreciative of their efforts to keep me safe and treat me well under difficult circumstances .
Again, that is where they really shined.
I love this resort Jamaica and it’s people.

We have been to this resort multiple times, the staff is wonderful as always! They are always willing to help with whatever needs you may have. The issues that are really upsetting are the cut of staff, causing many events and resturants to be closed. This resort boasts its many restaurants and we end up in a buffet line.......I'm expecting a certain level of vacation for the money payed. When I walk over to the buffet.. I almost loose a toe due to the decking literally disintegrating. Wich is another issue, I mainly point blame to the hotel not spending money to upkeep the facilities. I say this because the shrubbery, the beach, the grass everything that the workers "can" maintain looks excellent. Large items like the decking, fixing rot areas on the hotel room exteriors. Another issue is fresh fruit is scarce, alcohol items and mixers are limited. On top of all of this I used this vacation to show my mother Jamaica for the fist time. Overall the staff is amazing but the decline of the all of the other things make me rethink where we will spend our next vacation.

We had the most incredible vacation here at Azul in Negril. The resort was in wonderful condition, and the staff remained so positive and unbelievably accommodating, even after just enduring the hurricane. A special shoutout to Keneatha, TT, Mr. Beat, and Jehnoy for making our stay truly unforgettable.

The resort is overall nice.. it is looking a little aged, it needs a update for sure . The staff is amazing. Everyone knows your name. Marion in the buffet restaurant was absolutely amazing 😍😍. I could not ask for better service.. We enjoyed Rashane and Sheri if we wanted something they found a way to get it to us.. I would definitely return to the resort just for the staff alone .

From the moment we arrived at Beaches Resort, we knew we were in for something special. The welcome was warm, with refreshing drinks and genuine smiles from the staff who made us feel like VIPs from day one. Every detail was thoughtfully planned to create a relaxing, fun, and unforgettable family vacation.
**The Resort & Accommodations:**
Our room was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with a stunning ocean view that felt like something out of a postcard. Housekeeping was incredibly attentive, and the little touches—like towel animals for the kids and a well-stocked mini-fridge—made a big. The food was *outstanding*. With so many restaurants to choose from, we never had to repeat a meal unless we wanted to (and we definitely went back for seconds at Soy Sushi Bar and The Jerk Shack!). Whether it was gourmet dining or a casual beachfront lunch, the quality and variety were excellent. Even the pickiest eaters in our group found their favorites.
What truly set this vacation apart was the **service**. Every single team member—from waitstaff to kids’ club counselors—was warm, helpful, and eager to make our stay perfect. The level of hospitality we experienced is hard to put into words—it felt like everyone genuinely cared about our experience.
Beaches Resort gave us more than just a vacation—it gave us quality time together, laughter, relaxation, and memories we’ll cherish forever. If you’re looking for a worry-free, luxury all-inclusive that caters to every member of the family, look no further. We’re already planning our return trip!

I recently spent time in Jamaica at south coast sandals until hurricane, Melissa
Made landfall on the island of Jamaica. With extremely well thought out plans, guests, myself included, were moved to Beaches in Negril. Both Sandals and Beaches are owned by the same company. As you may know, Sandals is for couples, and Beaches is for families.
The ride from south coast to Negril after the hurricane was something I will not forget. It was a nighttime drive, which was a good idea because the traffic was very low. The next morning opening the curtains I was delighted to see a beautiful resort in front of my eyes. I was over near pirates landing, and if you have kids? Well they are gonna love it. The staff, and I mean everyone that works at Beaches even after the hurricane, could not have been nicer and more pleasant to interact with. The interaction between the employee's of Beaches and the activities they have planned for the kids is spellbounding. I love it. The kids are just having the best times of their lives interacting with their parents and the activity's Beach's has to offers. Let me talk a bit about the food. Amazing. If you're a lover of sushi you absolutely must go to the restaurant, soy. Without a doubt, some of the best sushi I have ever eaten. The beach is absolutely beautiful as is of course, is the caribbean sea.

My room was a beautiful room.Clean as a whistle, beautiful bathroom.Nice shower and a balcony too.Sit and read while listening to the activities going on around you. I would definitely return to Beaches in the Negril.

We just spend 6 days at Beaches Negril as a family of 4. It was our first time staying here for an extended stay and my kids first time to Jamaica. This vacation was literally perfection! 7 mile beach is stunning - there are so many starfish, stingrays, fish, etc.... that you see, even if you never leave the harbor. If you choose to utilize water sports (which you absolutely should), you get to experience even more stunning sea life. The resort has the best hospitality I have ever experienced in the Caribbean, hands down. The staff is all so kind. They truly become family and were all so tuned in to the kids. They remembered my kids names after day 1. Would also check in to make sure they were having fun and knew of the kids activities going on. The food was delicious. The rooms were perfect! I could not recommend this resort enough! Thank you Beaches Negril for giving us a wonderful week in Jamaica!

We just got back from a wonderful vacation at Beaches Negril! We have a family of 5, 13 yr old, 10 yr old and 6 yr old and they had a wonderful time! The room was very clean and close to everything. The food was excellent. I would say the servings were a bit small but you can order more of it, so that doesn't really matter. I would say my kids would have liked more snack options throughout the day as they only have meal places and the yogurt shop. The kids loved the yogurt shop and they want 2x a day! The service was great and everyone was so helpful and nice! The hotel is at least 90 minutes from the airport which was a negative for us as my daughter gets car sick so the ride there and back was difficult for her. Wish it was a bit closer. The pool and water park and the beach were very clean. All in all the trip was great and would love to return again!

My family and I just returned from a vacation at Beaches Negril, this was our first time at a Beaches resort but we are frequent Sandals goers. When we arrived at the airport the lounge was full but we were greeted and checked in to wait for the ride to the resort quickly. When we arrived at the resort we went to the concierge lounge and they discussed everything with us and we were off to our room which I loved, no long waiting. The room was great for our family of 5, we don't normally complain about the room because we are barely in it. The only issue we had with the room was that the air conditioner started leaking and we called to have someone come check it out because it left a puddle in the room area by the closet but no one came to check on it and it did that for 2 days, it would stop at night though which was weird. Housekeeping was great they came everyday and cleaned the room and I loved the nightly turndown service.
The entertainment was great I loved that there were activities and music at the pool all day gave a great vacation vibe. The nightly entertainment though needed some work it was nice that they had a variety of shows but to me they were lackluster. We did love the Sesame Street show for the kids it was nice and the Broadway show was the best, Delly and Alexia made it an extraordinary experience. I loved Delly's personable personality and he was fun and engaging every time he saw my husband on resort he would yell out "Charles" which made us feel like we weren't going unnoticed. Another disappointment was the after party for adults at Liquid's we stayed up one night to go and there was no DJ in there and the bartender that was in there looked bored to death. I think that could be a good after hour spot but it needs to be a DJ in there and an attentive and energetic bartender. The best dinner we had was at Kimono's I am so glad that we were able to go there. We also ate breakfast at Stella which was great as well, the other food was just mediocre at best and The Mill's buffet is quite disappointing compared to other buffets I've had at other resorts, not a wide variety of foods and the fruit was awful. The food that they did offer was not that good. We also ate at the Jerk Shack which was just ok the chicken was not giving jerk chicken it was giving chicken with a sauce on it, but I loved the fish in foil, it was delicious, Kerry Ann was attentive and even got us some fries when they weren't on the menu and kept making sure we were good while we ate there. We also ate at the BBQ Park and it was not that good, the burger I ordered the bun was old and falling apart and the pulled pork was not good the flavor and bbq sauce, YUCK! I enjoyed the frozen yogurt shop though. We also ate at Marachi's and it was just ok as well the beef fajitas that I got were just okay but the servers we had there were EXCELLENT Andrea and Kaylia they made the experience a great one aside from the mediocre food. My kids really loved Sweetie's where you can get the ice cream from the machine they went there several times a day, I loved that little touch as well. Then Nickesha from the sales office gave me a tour of the resort and the eventides villa which was great she was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I love the fact that there is a children's center for children with autism as I work with children and see how children with special needs can be looked over but not at this resort and I love that. I really enjoyed the resort over all I would recommend the resort to others looking for a family vacation the only thing that would deter me from coming back is the long ride to and from the resort, it takes up a whole day. I'm happy we came to this resort and my kids definitely enjoyed themselves. Lastly all the staff are so friendly and welcoming that makes for a pleasant stay as well because it is a warm and welcoming vibe.

We were here a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately only got about 1.5 days on the resort before we decided it was best for us to leave before the hurricane struck. But I wanted to personally thank our butlers and the staff for helping us come to an informed decision. The time we did spend the food was amazing the staff were knowledgeable, helpful and sooo kind! Our room was beautiful and clean and the butlers truly went above and beyond to make us feel special. I hope all the staff are safe and look forward to seeing you again in the future for a full vacation!

Horrible!!! Worse resort DON’T waste your time or money!!
First we arrived and after traveling since 2am we were ready to get settled in. Our room was not ready on time at the 3pm check in time. We traveled with a group and we were the only couple that didn’t have a room. Someone finally came out to get out 45 mins later after waiting.
Secondly, our lights that night kept turning on automatically while we were sleeping so we had to keep getting up to turn them off. How frustrating it is when you can’t sleep after long day of traveling!
Third, our safe in our room did not work properly so we couldn’t lock our viable things up. The safe wouldn’t lock, as we kept getting an error.
The refrigerator kept going out also. You can tell our room needs work and the upkeep is being neglected.
Fourth, we PAID for the Xhale club. So We were promised a welcome gift in the room upon arrival on the travel itinerary it mentioned a welcome gift and champagne. We didn’t have that in our room, I had to mention this to
Front desk. Then they eventually bought it to our room.
Also, included in the Xhale club, we were supposed to enjoy premium liquor. The resort bars ran out of the only two brands that we wanted to drink. One the second night they even mentioned they had to do a store run. It’s very unprofessional and upsetting to know as a guest
You purchase a package and the resort is not up to par and can’t deliver what you want. An all inclusive resort should never run out of something guests were promised.
Fifth issue we had was a constant noise in our room so we couldn’t sleep.
Update: So we found out it was coming from the rooftop pool. Maintenance came to the room and had to turn a pump off so we could not hear the noise.
Also, when there are events at night they are held in the lobby so you can’t sleep due to the loud music. It was not a smart idea to have entertainment and dj in lobby at night.
We travel to relax and rest. And this vacation was the worse vacation my husband and I have experienced.
And FYI the other people the group also had issues with different things so it wasn’t just us!

I had such a wonderful experience at Breathless Montego Bay Resort & Spa! The resort was beautiful, the food and drinks were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming.
A big highlight of my stay was the entertainment team, especially Zidane. He was full of energy, incredibly friendly, and went out of his way to make sure guests were enjoying themselves. His positivity and enthusiasm really stood out and made my vacation even more memorable.
Thanks to Zidane and the rest of the team, my stay at Breathless was truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for great service, entertainment, and relaxation all in one.

Everything was amazing!! We got the presidential swim up suite and it came with 2 butlers. Olivia and Javon were phenomenal!!!! They made us feel sooo loved! Definitely made it worth spending more for their services. The food was awesome! They do a good job keeping up with the place!

My partner and I have recently returned from celebrating her Birthday at Breathless Montego Bay resort, and aside from a little first night hiccup our vacation was positively amazing. The surrounding grounds are aesthetically beautiful, our dining experience equally so. However, what makes Breathless a resort that we intend on revisiting are the staffs, which are positively first-class (hard working with little or no reward or recognition). I could name all that we came in contact with. However, our butler lady Valerie and Kenroy, was simple amazing (their attention to details was truly exceptional) Lady Melisa (at the omelette stand) was an absolute joy each morning. Radalfi, ensured that our today was gonna be better than our yesterday. And now, Ranae our Guest Relation Manager, I cannot express just how outstanding she was, she made it her number one priority that my partner and I had the most memorable of experiences, she was Simple the BEST...Message to management, you guys are truly fortunate to have a Team of such high standards, so Please, Invest in them. They make the Difference.

Traveling queen
A decent stay, but not quite what we expected.
The rooms were noticeably outdated and showed signs of wear, including visible water damage and a general lack of upkeep. While the resort is marketed as a smaller, more boutique-style property, it felt more like a standard hotel due to the number of rooms and overall layout.
Despite its larger size, the resort didn’t feel overly crowded, and we rarely encountered many other guests. However, this is not a luxury property—the atmosphere and amenities are more casual. The dining options reflected this as well: meals were simple and familiar rather than gourmet or high-end. The main buffet offered a typical selection of comfort foods, suitable for picky eaters or vegetarians, though not ideal for those seeking an upscale culinary experience.
A nice touch was the nightly entertainment during dinner, which added some liveliness and atmosphere to the evenings without being intrusive.
The beach itself was beautiful, with soft sand and clear water, but it is not private, which meant frequent interruptions from local vendors selling jewelry, jet ski rentals, or other items. This made it difficult to fully relax at times.
Another enjoyable detail was the self-serve ice cream station, perfect for cooling off during the day.
Overall, a good option for travelers seeking a simple, budget-friendly stay with a bit of nightly entertainment, but those looking for luxury, privacy, or a true boutique feel may want to explore other options

My husband ( a Jamacia Native) and I spent a full week at this resort for our anniversary and it was spectacular. From the door we felt right at home. From the assistance of the front desk ladies, wonderful service and cuisine in all of the dining areas, creativity and cleanliness of the housekeepers ; we were treated swell. There was always something fun to experience in the evenings as well.
The beach area is crisp and clean with clear seas .We're planning to experience the other campuses across the island as we speak. Thank you all for one the best vacations ever.

My husband and I had never been to Jamaica before and we absolutely LOVED the resort and staff. We met other amazing couples from all over the states who had been coming back to the resort year after year and offered lots of insight!
The food at each of the restaurants was great. Well seasoned and authentic. The staff were attentive and efficient.
We decided to do a Garden room and that did not disappoint. The view was lovely and serene. The room was clean and always stocked. The house keepers made sure you always had what you needed without asking.
The pool was a perfect temperature and the swim up bar was always fully stocked!
Of course I can’t forget to compliment how clean the beach was! It was beautiful and well kept. Clear water and nothing but sand!
Needless to say, we will absolutely be coming back!

The resort had amazing food choices, from the curry to the gluten free. This resort had more gluten free options than I've ever seen in any restaurant. They catered to allergies and were very helpful. As far as being waited on, it just wasn't there. Compared to resorts in Mexico where you're waited on at every moment, it did set me back a bit. They say tips are forbidden at this resort, but tips are expected from the moment you arrive at the airport till you arrive back at the hotel. One of the memorable moments was the GLASS BOTTOM BOAT tour! Our guides were amazing.

This is our second time at this property and it never disappoints! Relaxing vibe and great service. All of the water sports are included so it’s great to go on a catamaran cruise one day, sail the next, enjoy snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, peddle boarding (aka water bike) and more! We were there for 5 days and each day was different with the activities, entertainment and dining options.
This time we were able to attend the repeaters dinner which was a luxury cocktail reception, upscale dining, topped off with a beach bonfire. This was the perfect, romantic way to celebrate our anniversary after honeymooning here 10 years ago!

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights. We did not care for this place at all. The rooms are minimalistic and lack detail and design. Our air conditioning went out twice and we almost didn’t get into another room. There was nothing quick about the service or sense of urgency of moving us. Cups and dishes were left throughout the campus during our stay with lack of attention to cleanliness on the property. The attendant at the bar at the upstairs pool overlooking the ocean was hardly to be found. The all inclusive meals were very basic and did not seem fresh. I had mold on the bread of my hamburger at the food cafe down by the private beach area. The tables around the beach chairs sat with empty drink cups stacked with no one tending to clean up.
We will not be back and I do not recommend.
The only good thing about this place was the beautiful outside structure of the resort and the views of the ocean.

This hotel has the potential to be amazing, but it falls short in several areas. The property itself is beautiful, with lush landscaping and well-kept grounds, but be prepared for a lot of walking. The rooms are very spread out, and some buildings are quite far from the restaurants, pools, and main amenities, which can get frustrating in the heat.
This resort is definitely more suited for older couples than younger travelers. There’s very little entertainment, and the overall vibe is very quiet. If you’re looking for a lively atmosphere or activities, this isn’t the place.
One of the biggest disappointments was the beach, it wasn’t swimmable at all because of the heavy seaweed buildup. Unfortunately, the pools weren’t much better. Most of them had insects, leaves, and debris floating around, and they just didn’t feel clean or inviting.
Food-wise, I’d give it another 6/10. The grill was the best restaurant on the property, but avoid the hotdog. They do offer an international night with dishes from different countries, which was actually a fun experience and one of the highlights of the stay.
The staff was a mixed bag. I encountered a few rude employees, but overall, most of the staff were friendly. The housekeepers especially were outstanding, definitely a 10/10. They were kind, attentive, and consistently did a great job.
This hotel could be a lovely getaway for the right kind of traveler, but for me, it was just okay. With cleaner pools, a swimmable beach, and more entertainment options, it would be much more enjoyable

The room was nicely decorated for my partner’s birthday and I can’t find any faults with anything! Definitely will be visiting again.

Let me start by saying that I walked in with a negative attitude, because we have been let down by so many (supposed) 5 star resorts that had cost a lot more money. Within 15 minutes, I was pleasantly surprised. I will be returning! First, let me say, were there issues? Yes, but you are on an island with tropical surroundings and an ocean in front. But, the issues were small and mostly we never even mentioned, because they were small. So small, they did not even matter to us. There were a few small issues that we mentioned (not looking for results) and they were immediately addressed. Mostly to our surprise. The tropical surrounding were beautiful and well maintained. The beach was awesome and well maintained. The food was above average to yummy, with NO complaints. The room was cold, orderly and well kept. The activities were more than we had time to enjoy, but enjoyed the ones we participated. The staff was above wonderful. Always smiling and never complaining. They went above and beyond to ensure you were happy, comfortable and having a good time. No complaints and only compliments. They actually had real top shelf liquors. We spoke to many guests and NONE complained about the resort and most to many were returned guests with many of those with multiple returns. Keep doin what you are doing and you will out last all the big name, big money, no return resorts. Great job! (The sunset photos were from our back porch.

I had an amazing experience at the resort. I got married there last week and everything was great. I especially appreciate the staff specifically the wedding staff (Rochelle and Desmont) who were very professional and accomodating. They made my day go so smooth and I'm grateful for that. The night entertain (I do not remember the band's name) but they were awesome and full of energy. The massages at the spa across the street was great and I usually hate massages. The makeup artist the day of my wedding did a fantastic job. I showed her my inspo photo and she did exactly what I asked for. The atomsphere is just relaxing and I honestly wish we would have booked more time there. I almost forgot to mention that the different varieties of food was great as well and I highly reccomend the private dinner on the beach. The beach in the daytime is absolutely breathtaking. We were extremely pleased with everything and may spend our 1st anniversary there.

We have been going to Swept Away for 27 years The tennis is fantastic. The beach is beautiful. The staff from top to bottom is so kind and wonderful. Food is plentiful, healthy, delicious, and would fit any dietary requirements. Red snapper is wonderful. Rooms are fine, clean, comfortable, and we have stayed at all levels. Pickleball has now been added. There is air conditioned racquet ball. Also a full track. Every year they find the football game with the Ravens from Baltimore and we get to watch it. We don’t want a tv in our room but other rooms have them. If you want to sail or snorkel or sing with The Piano Man or dance or go on a booze cruise. It’s all there and all inclusive. Their beautiful decorations at Christmas and New Year’s and Valentine’s Day along with all the special entertainment are just amazing. Mr Lee Issa and his family and Mr Brown and the absolutely amazing staff that have made my family feel so welcome will bring us back twice this year. There are many reasons guests go back year after year and I hope I have specified them all. Richard and Karen Williams send you love. We will see you in 6 weeks.

Our second visit to CSA. T he beach & clear water cannot be beat! It was off-season so the resort was less crowded-which was a bonus. Although with this bonus came less amenities as a restaurant & bars were closed. It's a trade-off based on what you like.
The staff were somewhat less helpful & friendly than our priorities stay, which was disappointing. The food at Feathers, Lemongrass and the ala carte nights at The Palms were impeccable!

Wonderful experience at this resort. Food, staff and service was top notch. Buffet was always plentiful and varied. Top shelf alcohol. All the restaurants we tried were delicious. Older resort so some areas are a bit dated but they are currently updating. Not a huge beach but Beautiful and more private feeling. Loads of lounge chairs and spots with varying levels of sun. Rooms were so clean, fridge stocked. Lush garden to explore in the front. We will definitely be back.

Couples Tower Isle is the perfect resort for mature couples and groups seeking a serene, less-hectic pace and genuinely friendly service. My wife and I had a truly relaxing experience.
The resort shines in its amenities. The gym is one of the best-equipped I've seen on the island—a major plus for fitness enthusiasts. Dining was abundant and delicious, with flexible options: breakfast starts at 7:30 AM; lunch runs from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM; and a convenient grill operates from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM. A delightful, all-day ice cream station is also located right next to the grill!
Service is excellent. Staff are friendly and attentive, always willing to help, which contributed greatly to the relaxed atmosphere. Our room was well-appointed and maintained with twice-daily housekeeping. We appreciated the fully stocked refrigerator, replenished daily with beer, sodas, and various juices, and the convenience of room service.
While the pace is relaxed, there is plenty to do. Guests can enjoy a wide array of beach activities and nightly entertainment.
We met numerous repeat visitors, some on their third trip, and we understand why they keep coming back. If you're looking for an intimate, small-resort getaway where you won't feel lost in the crowd, this is the place. Highly recommended

We stayed at this resort for 7 days at the end of January 2025. The rooms were basic but clean, the beds comfy and the AC worked great. This may be a small resort but the views are gorgeous. The staff was great. This was the 9th time I had been to Jamaica, and this resort had the best food! We also signed up for the Couples Rewards and were able to spend a day at the sister resort down the street, Couples San Souci. That was a great perc as it changed it up a little and made us want to try out the other resort too at another time.

My stay at Dreams Rosehall was really well spent. Let me first start with the positives. The property itself is beautiful!! Almost every where you walk on the property you'll have an amazing view of the sea. The lazy river and slides gives a great mixture of excitement and relaxation whichever you feel for. The position of the restaurants are mostly central and you'll always in reach of a bar or food stop.
The service is 5 star! The staff will make you feel at home. I experienced no bad service at all.
The food is really good. There is a perfect balance of Jamaican and international cuisine. From the main buffet, to the a la carte, there is always a great variety with great taste. I tried almost everything.
The only issue I would have had isn't really a big issue as but I do believe the rooms are bit dated. They are clean but I think with some small renovations they can be much better. All in all, it was an exceptional experience, thank you dreams for a great stay!

The food was always amazing, with lots of variety. The staff couldn't do enough, always there to help. The service was impeccable, and they were always really friendly. We did have to change rooms, some of the rooms could do with a bit of updating.
There were many activities at this all inclusive resort and we never felt bored. My family and I decided to pay for a boat trip that they had on offer with a company they work with, which was absolutely amazing.
There was quite a hard sell for a time-share like programme, but apart from that, no complaints really.

Check-in was scheduled for 4 pm, but unfortunately, our room wasn’t ready until 6 pm. To their credit, the hotel made up for this by offering us a complimentary late check-out (normally charged at about $50 USD per hour), which was appreciated.
The facilities overall were clean and well maintained. However, the spa was missing a sauna and steam room, which was a bit disappointing.
Food was mixed. The Italian restaurant was a highlight with very enjoyable meals. The buffet had a decent selection, but many items were served warm or even cold instead of hot, which took away from the experience.
The restaurant staff were excellent — very friendly and often went above and beyond to accommodate requests, which really stood out.
Entertainment was varied. The DJ played throughout, but the music selection could have covered a wider range of genres. On the other hand, the poolside entertainment was fantastic, and the lazy river/tube pool was a lot of fun — we ended up spending a full day just relaxing there.
Rooms were decent and clean. The bathrooms felt a little dated but were well maintained.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay with some memorable highlights, though there are a few areas where the experience could be improved.

Lovely hotel. Amazing food options and a comprehensive cocktail menu. Bar, restaurant, and hotel staff were all incredibly lovely and caring, something you do not find too often in all inclusive hotel resorts. Janine at the bar was lovely, even know her favourite letter is J!!!. Service was very nice and rooms were comfy. Good views from the room and balcony also. Hotel was located about a 20 minute drive from the airport, a little bit away from all of the other hotels other than one next door. Means it feels like a getaway.
What negative I will say is that the Playa representatives invited us to an ‘induction breakfast’ thinking it was to do with what services are on offer at the hotels. Instead it was a way for them to sigh you up to the company club so you get discounts for future bookings etc.. After not attending the breakfast the staff stopped smiling at and saying hi to me as we didn’t contribute to their sign-ons.

Our overall experience at Dreams Rose Hall was unfortunately mediocre, and certainly not worth the price for what is advertised as a 5-star Hyatt property.
The hotel itself feels dated and in need of updates and general maintenance. The check-in process was frustratingly slow, with unnecessary complications that set the tone for the stay. While some staff were friendly, many had poor attitudes, which made interactions inconsistent.
The food was one of the biggest disappointments. At the buffet, it was warm on some days but mostly cold. For an all-inclusive, it was surprising and frustrating to find that many things came with an extra charge—cabanas, a simple glass of wine at dinner, or upgraded meals like steak, lobster, or lamb at the Rum Factory.
The beach was also a letdown. It seemed man-made, with very little sand, extremely shallow water, and nothing like the classic white sand beaches you expect in Jamaica.
On the positive side, the rooms were clean, but housekeeping was unreliable. Some days our room wouldn’t be cleaned until very late in the day, which was inconvenient. The one highlight of our stay was the coffee shop, which was by far the nicest area of the hotel and provided a consistently pleasant experience.
In the end, I would not recommend Dreams Rose Hall. For the price, it falls far short of Hyatt standards and does not deliver a true 5-star experience. There are better options in Jamaica that offer higher value for the same or less cost.

From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel genuinely welcome. She was attentive without ever being intrusive, checking in at the perfect moments and making sure we always had everything we needed.
Amanda’s professionalism, kindness, and upbeat energy really stood out. She remembered our preferences, offered great suggestions, and made the whole meal feel special. It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and it truly elevated our dining experience.

We were a family of 5 and had 2 different suites. The service we had was great. Food we had at the various restaurants was lovely. Special mention to Rochelle who was a server at a few of the places we had a meal she went out of her way to ensure we had a good experience. Also massive thanks to Eunice and Daneil in Mo' bay restaurant who were always friendly and helpful. The housekeeping who I didn't even see kept our room clean everyday and the staff would stock up our fridge everyday. The whole experience was great and I would happily stay at this resort again. Almost forgot to mention Andre a Gardner who would say Hi and check on us making sure we were enjoying our stay.

We had an incredible experience at the Grand Palladium buffet restaurant thanks to our server, Amanda. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel genuinely welcome. She was attentive without ever being intrusive, checking in at the perfect moments and making sure we always had everything we needed.
Amanda’s professionalism, kindness, and upbeat energy really stood out. She remembered our preferences, offered great suggestions, and made the whole meal feel special. It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and it truly elevated our dining experience.
If you’re visiting the buffet, definitely hope you get Amanda — she’s exceptional!

HAD A BRILLANT STAY
We were a family of 5 and had 2 different suites. The service we had was great. Food we had at the various restaurants was lovely. Special mention to Rochelle who was a server at a few of the places we had a meal she went out of her way to ensure we had a good experience. Also massive thanks to Eunice and Daneil in Mo' bay restaurant who were always friendly and helpful. The housekeeping who I didn't even see kept our room clean everyday and the staff would stock up our fridge everyday. The whole experience was great and I would happily stay at this resort again. Almost forgot to mention Andre a Gardner who would say Hi and check on us making sure we were enjoying our stay.

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Xayamaica. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the service truly made our visit unforgettable. Our host, Damien, was an absolute gem—genuine, kind, and exceptionally attentive. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, well taken care of, and guided us with fantastic recommendations throughout our visit.

The stay was overall good. We booked a swim up room and the views were great. We fairly enjoyed our pool daily. My favorite part of the trip was the hookah. Monique the assistant manager at the hookah stand made sure our hookah was full and we enjoyed it every bit. We were very grateful for her service. Also Malcome who works by the pool was also very generous and kind. He ensured our drinks were always full. As a girlie who always stays at the Hyatt this was one of the better resorts but it doesn’t beat the Hyatt Ziva in Cabo. I didn’t like that there were no options to upgrade wristbands for better liquor choices. We had to go off the resort to get a quality tequila the Jose Cuervo was giving us a headache. Still there are some things that can be improved. The room cleanliness can be a little better and the room service was a little slow but overall it was a decent stay. We had dinner at one of the restaurants and I want to highlight the lamb chops and lobster it was amazing. The driver the hotel assigned us to was Delano and he was amazing!! He took us all over Montego bay safely! Overall I would rate it a 8/10 I will be bringing my family back for Christmas.

My husband and I just returned from celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. This resort truly exceeded our expectations!
We were a bit nervous before arriving, as recent reviews had us concerned. Jamaica has always been our “happy place,” but our last two visits to other resorts had been disappointing compared to years past. We didn’t want to be let down again—but Hyatt Zilara completely restored our faith and reminded us why we fell in love with Jamaica 29 years ago.
From the moment we arrived, the staff’s warmth and genuine hospitality stood out. Nearly everyone we encountered went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. The small gestures and thoughtful touches throughout our visit really made the difference. A special shout-out to Shavene, Stacy, Teneika, Horatio, and Lucrellas in Watersports(sp?) —they were absolute standouts, though truly, the entire staff shined.
The grounds were immaculate and beautifully maintained, the restaurants offered great variety and quality, and there was a nice balance of relaxation and activities.
If I had one small suggestion, it would be to incorporate more Caribbean music on the adults-only side instead of the everyday radio songs we can hear back home—and perhaps lower the volume just a bit.
Overall, we left feeling refreshed, grateful, and reminded of why Jamaica will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you, Hyatt Zilara, for helping us celebrate such a special milestone in such a memorable way!

Cons: I disagree with the 5-star rating. While the rooms are acceptable, they are extremely humid, and there was a strange smell coming from the AC vents. Additionally, the hallway carpets are filthy, showing clear signs that they haven't been replaced in quite some time. The food options were decent, but at every restaurant we visited, they were almost always out of something or missing ingredients.
I also noticed that room service trays were left outside doors; for instance, a guest next to me left their tray out at night, and it was still there in the morning. While this may not be a concern for everyone, to me, it's a red flag—potentially indicating a roach problem. Lastly, the hallways leading to the rooms have an odd smell, and the lighting is quite dim.
Pros: resort's outdoor areas are beautiful, and I spent most of my time there. I loved the beach, the pool, the swim-up bar, and the entertainment. The staff provided excellent service, showcasing great Jamaican hospitality. The spa is outstanding as well. I had a massage overlooking the beach, and it was amazing. The spa facilities are very clean, and the staff there is incredibly friendly.
To sum it up, I would definitely stay here again. Personally, when I'm on vacation, I only use my hotel room for sleeping. However, if you prefer spending more time in your room or plan to stay for an extended period, I would not recommend it. For me, the beauty of the resort's outdoor spaces outweighed any drawbacks I noticed

Me and My Family and Friends came to Jamaica for vacation and to relax from the every day stressor. We enjoyed the all inclusive resort and everything that is offered daily. The beaches are clear and blue , I feel at peace and relaxed. The pools are great! The food and restaurants are nice and the food is delicious 😋.

Went with a groups of friends and everyone had an amazing time. I would like to especially mention some of the staff that we encountered.
Onique at the front desk was so helpful and amazing.
Kyle Mighty endured our stupid jokes and was absolutely professional.
Gillian our server at the buffet was the best of the best. She was so polite, friendly and fast. She even organized a surprise for our friend celebrating a birthday. She is lovely!
Avian firstly I’m sorry that we pressured you so much at the bar haha but you remained professional and we appreciate your service.
Hotel manager Stefan was also very polite and professional.
Shoutout to Jason even though we never met him he helped us to have a great day without any hiccups.
Overall all the staff were fantastic even though I can’t recall all the names. The food was great, the property was very clean and everyone took the time to make us feel special even as locals.

This place rocks. The staff is great and management went above and beyond in accommodating all the guests during and after hurricane Melissa. They kept the food and entertainment coming and it was great. They refunded everyone for their stay after the hurricane and kept us safe and sound at the property. I cannot give them enough accolades for their outstanding service and accommodation. I will definitely be returning here when they have recovered from this devastating hurricane..

The resort was amazing. The pools the beach access and the service from staff was awesome. My only unsatisfactory comment is the food option. Room service was provided, however it was often over an hour to receive the food. The in room service options were also limited. The best food I had was at the brick open pizza place and the Urban Eats which was at the main resort. The other restaurants were scattered around the resort about a 10 minute walk. The buffet, seafood restaurant, and the perk chicken dishes were either extremely too spicy, or lack seasoning. It was hard to find a good selection of food. I enjoy experiences all cuisines. I don't think this was my best experience of Jamaican food. Enjoyed all the entertainment and activities.

I was just there this past week during Hurricane Melissa. I arrived just before the storm, unfortunately we could not make it out due to the airport closure. Hotel manager Adrian and his staff who chose to stay were in a word PHENOMENAL to those of us who were there. Food, and limited entertainment was great. They checked on every single one of us and made our stay enjoyable considering the conditions outside. They made sure that everyone stayed informed and safe. I will definitely be a returning guest to this property in the future. I am grateful and thankful for all of the staff as well as the hospitality of the Hyatt. Thank you!!

Amazing! This was by far the best stay I have ever had in Jamaica. The receptionists were warm and welcoming. I want to thank Latavia for upgrading our room and for her thoughtful service. We had the one bedroom butler suite ocean view and it was beautiful. I want to thank Kevin and Dexter for being the best butlers. They were very attentive and made my birthday very special. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Food was great! Over all best trip!

Asani really came in clutch when our driver fell through for a tour at last minute and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed while at the resort! Jean Pierre and Sharon were quick and friendly and always had the best service in the Little River Buffet! Aldin had the best drink and very informative while constructing the drink! Lashawna was very pleasant, always smiling and kept the room clean each time and does a great job! Skittles, V6, concrete and Tiffany kept the entertainment flowing and the good times rolling at the pool side each day! Chef Pais was fantastic at the Japanese restaurant! He was very friendly and entertaining made the whole experience more enjoyable.

I had such an incredible experience at this resort! There was always something fun to do. The entertainment team truly made the stay unforgettable. They were friendly, enthusiastic, and full of energy, constantly keeping guests engaged and smiling.
A special shoutout goes to V6 from the entertainment team — he went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt included. His energy was absolutely infectious and really set the tone for an amazing atmosphere every day. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and cares about guests having a great time.

Decent resort that offers something for all ages. The pool area can get a bit noisy so keep that in mind if you are looking for quiet. Jamaican restaurant on the beach treated our family like royalty. That was the highlight of our stay. It was our Nieces birthday on the day of arrival and we had the pleasure of dining here the first night. The food came out family style and it was great. The chefs hospitality was top tier.
For the most part the entire staff was very professional and pleasant.
Our housekeeper did an awesome job cleaning our room daily. She was great.

The main dining area for buffet food was extremely humid and almost made it unbearable to eat inside. They really need to upgrade their systems and make that area more comfortable to dine especially In warm months.
Warning! If you have no intentions of buying a vacation club membership don't do the tour. The concierge will track you down if you miss your scheduled visit. They are also very rude if you do not attend.
Beach is nice and not very wide but they keep it clean with plenty of chairs.
Also beware of the people who claim pool chairs. They are relentless.
Overall it was a nice family vacation.

Really lovely location with a great pool, facilities and beach. In October a bit quieter so lots of space in sun or shade without being crowded. Staff are very helpful. Food is plentiful and varied, although would like to see all vegetarian options in one place to avoid cross-contamination with serving spoons, especially at the pizza station. Good to have the options of themed buffet styles and have non-buffet restaurants too. Uncle Tony's Smokehouse was really good. The vegan platter was superb. The bedrooms are spacious although starting to show their age with a crack here and there. Took a while for water to run away in the shower but sure that can easily be rectified. Drinks were good, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Breakfasts were really good. Be aware that the chain does try to sell an advantages type of scheme, for which you will be offered breakfast at the next door sister hotel with a presentation. It takes 2 hours and was not a scheme for us. So be aware and make a sensible choice for you. Have loved the very relaxed lifestyle in Jamaica.

Absolutely Incredible Stay! The Entertainment Team & Staff Made It Unforgettable!
I visited back in June and loved it so much that I had to come back this month and somehow, this trip was even better than the first! My expectations were blown away yet again from the amazing food to the top-tier entertainment.
Chef Marcus over at Dutchies is an absolute legend his food is beyond delicious every single time! And I can’t forget to shout out Errol the bartender, who kept the drinks flowing and the vibes high all day long. He’s the best friendly, fast, and always smiling!
And then there’s the entertainment crew truly the heart of the resort. V6, Redbull, Too Short, and Sparkles, you four are incredible! The energy, the fun, the way you connect with everyone you make each day feel like a celebration. The resort wouldn’t be the same without you!
Can’t wait to come back again soon! This place just gets better and better every time!

Best hotel I've ever stayed at! Super friendly staff that made you feel like family. Very welcoming and inviting. They all introduced themselves to us and always remembered our names. I will of course recommend this to anyone who comes to visit Ocho Rios. The amenities were amazing as well. from the nightly dessert selections placed in our room, the paddle boards kayaks and sailboats, there were just so many fun things to enjoy. we were also able to stay for the Tuesday night meet and greet with all the staff and managers and an open bar, and then a very lovely dinner on the beach in a buffet format. There was also Thursday movie night which had a nice James Bond movie displayed on a large projector out on the beach. overall, if I could give this higher than five stars I would! It was the best resort I've ever stayed and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I must say this place is absolutely perfect!! Not a single complaint. The wife and I are frequent travelers. We travel several times a year. I will have to say that this place is by far the best place we have ever stayed. We have stayed at huge all inclusives and luxury villas. But this place trumps all of them. We love how small and private it is. (Which explains why so many celebrities choose to stay here) The rooms are very clean with stunning views. The service is excellent. Staff know privacy and space. They don’t overwhelm you but are very attentive. Once you choose a place to relax on the beach and go for a swim, within minutes they set up your chairs with towels and linen. The food was delicious . The waiters know how to properly seat people with privacy and space in mind. All the staff are clean and professional. They have a beautiful sweet Labrador named Shadow that spends all day on the property and knows basic commands and loves to swim and fetch. Fun fact: Shadow is their 5th generation pet! You can grab her leash and hang out with her for as long as you like. She’s super sweet. I met one of the owners and he was very approachable and was very attentive of your needs. The wife and I have been looking for a place where we can come to every 6 months for 5 days to reboot since our business is so demanding. We found it!!! I am super excited to become a familiar face and establish great relationships with the staffs. The Morrows Family has owned this place since the 50’s and you can tell what their vision is. To be a place of privacy, safety and most of all relaxation. I highly recommend this place. I am now a regular customer at The Jamaica Inn. Thank you to all the staff for such a wonderful experience. See you in 6 months!!!

Favorite place in the world. I have been coming for 13 years now and although the dear people I met there are no longer with us, the memories will never end. Impossible to mention all the things I love about Jamaica Inn, here are just a few: « Welcome home » greeting upon coming in, veranda suite which feels like home, opening the shutters first thing in the morning to the beautiful light, walking barefoot across the lawn to the sandy beach to the warm water, « Blue mountain » coffee in the morning, afternoon tea, cocktail on the terrace under the stars with the sound of tree frogs… it’s the place where my soul feels at home and longs to be back. The only thing I wish for is the time-share option, so I could spend 2-3 months a year there 🤗

Our stay at Jewel Grande Resort in Jamaica was absolutely incredible — even during a category five hurricane! The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was safe, comfortable, and well-fed. When the hurricane struck hard during lunchtime, they still managed to bring fresh, warm food to everyone, which was so impressive and comforting in such a scary moment.
Before the storm, the resort was already amazing — great food at several restaurants, a clear, beautiful ocean, and tons of fun activities to do. There’s a spa, gym, pools, and even a kids arcade where parents can drop off their children to play. Every single staff member was friendly, caring, and professional from start to finish.
Even through a hurricane, Jewel Grande made us feel safe and cared for. Would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed our time in Jamaica. Our butlers Toby and Lennox were great! They checked in on us and kept us informed on what was going on and they managed to get us a difficult reservation. They were friendly and fantastic! The hotel was in process of stuff being worked on and is in need of some upkeep. The staff was helpful and friendly. The food was really good! The beach was wonderful and I loved the water stuff they have! Super fun!

Firstly I want to send special thank you to butler TOBY and TYRONE for my beautiful room decor. My dining experience at the steakhouse was excellent with our waiter EVON top notch. The food was good, steaks were amazing, temperature on Point with a beautiful presentation.The drinks were made with love 10/10.The property was very clean and tidy. House keeping was quick and reliable with our request. The staff were friendly and helpful.Just need more entertainment options after dinner there wasn’t much to do just the club. Overall experience 100/10. Definitely will be back.

This resort is spectacular! The sea view from our balcony was gorgeous. The staff were extremely warm, welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious. I loved the coffee bar in the Sentry Palm building - fancy coffees paired with fresh cakes, daily. The Pier Side restaurant sits right over the sea, it is beautiful. Most of the restaurants look right over the sea. The nightly entertainment is excellent; and, takes place overlooking the sea. A special shout out to the following staff: Giovanni, the Chef at Waves restaurant whose creative dishes never ceased to surprise and delight; Aubrey our friendly server at the Waves restaurant; Simone the helpful tour desk operator; Shanneil the friendly Concierge in the Sentry Palm building; Shelley, the SPA Manager; Calvin the excellent Jamaican Chef at the Orchid restaurant; Rhaymone, Gawayne and Davian, the Jerk Chicken Beach Chefs; Stephanie, our pleasant server at the Orchid restaurant; Cleon the grounds keeper who so obligingly climbed a tree to pick coconuts for us; Devron our server at Le Bouchon restaurant who always seemed to know exactly what we wanted.

I literally love this resort!! I had the best time and didn't want to leave. There were a few reasons why I gave 5 stars.. Marvin, the server was AMAZING! HE LITERALLY MADE EVERYONE FEEL SO WELCOMED! He made everyone laugh and his work ethic was fire and on point! As he picked up all the dirty dishes, he made sure every guest was attended to. I dont think I ever seen him slow down . He worked everyday except one and I noticed he wasn't there by the change in Atmosphere and cleanliness of the place. He really needs to be cloned lol! Secondly, the activities ladies are so awesome as well! They are so bubbly, full of smiles, and try so hard to get people to come play the games, which are fun! The dancing was my favorite!! The hotel amenities were on point for me but I wished the dj played more because music is life!! I had no issues there and was so sad when I couldn't stay past my week stay.. I will come back!! So beautiful!

We came on our honeymoon from 11/30/25-12/5/25 and had the best trip ever. Service was beyond excellent, especially from our evening butler Alain and all of our other butlers. They ensured we had a great trip and our every need was met. The food was delicious, my wife especially enjoyed the Japanese restaurant. We got a swim out suite and the room and pool were awesome. The foam party was a blast too. We’re looking forward to returning!

We just had our honeymoon here 10/16-10/23 and couldn’t have picked a better place! The staff was so amazing, nice, and helpful. Our Butlers Owen, Gary, and Ralston went above and beyond for us. Always made sure we were comfortable and checking in with us. Owen had the best dance moves! Gary decorated our room for our honeymoon celebration and was the sweetest! Our room cleaner Sharon was the sweetest soul! She knew our names from the first day we met her and made us feel like family. She gave us hugs in the hallway and always had a smile on her face. The resort was very clean, well kept, and so fun! The grounds crew did an awesome job raking sand every morning and friendly to all the guests. There was no sargassum in the ocean either! We will for sure be back to this beautiful resort and we can’t wait to see everyone again!

From beginning to end, he ensured that all our needs were met and that we were fully enjoying our time at the resort. My husband loves to sing, and wherever we travel, we always look for a karaoke venue. Unfortunately, the days we were at JOIA did not coincide with the hotel’s karaoke nights. Thanks to Rennardo’s initiative, he discovered that a nearby property was hosting karaoke and personally escorted us there so my husband could perform. His thoughtfulness and attention to detail truly made a lasting impression and created a memory we will always cherish from our trip to Montego Bay.
We stayed at JOIA for four days, but it simply wasn’t enough time to experience all that the resort has to offer. We wished we could have stayed longer. Everything, from the exceptional food and entertainment to the luxurious amenities and impeccable service, was beyond our expectations. We are already looking forward to returning in the future.

This was the 1st vacation that my husband and I had in 17 years and JOIA did not disappoint!
The food- starting the day at the coffee shop was a must! We loved the omelets at breakfast. Lunch grilled at the beach was amazing. Dinner was awesome, our favorite was the Jamaican!
The pools- going in early October was perfect, we had a cabana everyday, I had a float anytime I wanted one! The young woman handing out towels every morning had the most infectious smile everyday! They have sunscreen available, one less thing to pack! Get a dirt banana from the pool bar-it does not disappoint!
The service- OMAR WAS THE BEST!! He was our butler and anytime I even thought I needed something, he was magically there, it was like he was the butler from Mr.Deeds!
The rooms- our view was beautiful, my husband I would start the day with coffee and end it with drinks on our balcony! The staff was fantastic with the turn down service and helping us celebrate!
The beach- I was up before the sun everyday so I would grab my book, head to the beach and read as the sun came up! I always felt safe and it was so calm and beautiful!!!

We went for our honeymoon and then had to stay because of Hurricane Melissa. Even before the storm hit the staff was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. The hotel staff and entertainment crew were incredible preparing everyone once flight cancellations hit and Melissa was intensifying into a Cat 5. We are so lucky to have been at JOIA during the hurricane as the entire staff managed all the logistics of dealing with the hurricane, keeping everyone very safe and as comfortable as we could be. A special thanks to the entertainment crew for constantly keeping everyone's morale up and also Smiley, Deivy, Mr. Fresh, and Ace for great volleyball games. All the staff sacrificed so much to keep things moving smoothly at the resort; I hope everyone stays safe and the hotel and Jamaica as a whole bounces back quickly from the storm.

We stayed at Moon Palace in Ocho Rios from November 17–19, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. I want to give a special thank you to Shelly, Taneish Warren, Lattanya, and Denesha from the Buccaneer Reef restaurant. their service was exceptional. It was my son’s birthday, and they treated him like absolute royalty. Our room was beautifully decorated, and that was a surprise!! they sang for him twice, and he even received a slice of birthday cake. We were not expecting such a thoughtful and heartwarming celebration.
This was our first time visiting Moon Palace Ocho Rios by the way. and the hospitality, warmth, and professionalism of the staff made our stay amazing.

I've had such an amazing time at this hotel. The entertainment staff Iyanla, Paris, and Brianna were amazing and just full of vibes, accommodating and aware! Nushaun (Pier 8, I'm sorry if I miss spell your name) was amazing at Pier 8. Andre the late night bartender and Shernett, Michael (Micheal), Caillou during the day took care of us at the swim up bar. Very positive experience overall. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and, although small, the location featured everything you would want from an all-inclusive. Food has been just ok, but not worse than comparable family friendly all-inclusives in Jamaica.
The booking included a $750 resort credit, which felt more like a scam honestly once we tried to use it. Too many restrictions and we aren’t even going to be able to use any of it except the $150 allowed for the spa, which I assume they do because everyone would use it for that.
We did the “not a timeshare” session. They would like to keep you for the whole morning, but they were not rude when we left after the 90 minutes. The program is honestly one of the worst values we’ve been offered though. Surprised anyone actually purchases it, but it seems like a lot of people do.
Overall, we would recommend the experience and come back despite the few downsides.

From the moment I arrived I could tell that my stay would be wonderful. I was greeted with a cold towel and welcome drink by courteous members of staff. The property was clean and based on the layout I found it easy to get around. They had a wide variety of food and everything I had was flavourful. The room I booked was spacious and had an amazing view not to mention the 24/7 room service which had generous portions. There is also a game lounge and great nightly entertainment. Above all the staff served with pride and made me feel special during my stay.

I stayed in this hotel resort recently. Loved it. Great staff. Very kind and attentive. No exceptions. It was a great facility. It was very charming. Felt like stepping back in time with very classic island decor. I heard that it was decorated by Ralph Lauren and I absolutely believe this to be true. Food was amazing. Staffed with Michelin star chefs. Shows every night. Beautiful beach, pool and water sports. Not the sort of place you go if you want to be rowdy.

The Villa was spectacular, the food was good, but not great, service was very good, but staff was actually too intrusive. The point of a villa is privacy, yet they wouod just walk on the grounds and into the villa constantly, it was ridiculous. But most importantly, and the reason I took a star off, was they listed a couples massage as $300, then charged $300 per person. As someone who has had countless massages, I have NEVER had that happen. It was truly outrageous.

Expert, friendly and professional service from all staff members. Great walking trails. My fav was walking to the Spa. Beach front rooms and balconies are awesome. Beach and pool are beautiful. Jamaica is lush and beautiful and this is a perfect place to enjoy your resort time! And daily tea time is lovely! Not far from the Montego Bay airport. A bit expensive, but worth it. Fabulous for adults, family and group trips!

This was my second visit to the Royalton in Negril. I’m happy to say that the amazing staff and entertainment team bought us back to the resort and didn’t fail to disappoint. Special shoutouts to the fitness team (specifically Jovie, Garrison & Alpha), and the vibe team (Starfire, Astro, Tiny, Lucky, Trouble, DJ Smart, MJ & Prince); thank you to all of the old crew for welcoming us back and being the life of the resort! I also want to say thank you to the bar staff who work so hard every single day to check in and make sure that we were having an enjoyable experience! Just to name a few; Neckola, Horace, Romaine, Arvil & Natasha.
Despite the positive experiences from staff, I did not have a great experience in other areas of my holiday. During our first week, we experienced an issue with our hotel room door not being able to lock. On closer inspection, it was as if it’d been tampered with and it took 2 different people and almost 3 hours to fix this. This did not set a good tone for the rest of the holiday.
Another minor teething problem included heavy promotions on additional paid facilities such as the spa, excursions and premium alcohol (which were all mostly overpriced). Coming to an all inclusive resort, we shouldn’t feel obliged to spend more on facilities we didn’t factor into our budget. Each day we would get asked multiple times by the same people and it got boring pretty quickly. Our intention was to have a relaxing break, not be hassled by promoters trying to make us spend money on things we didn’t want to.
I expected to come back to the resort and give the same 5-star rating as before, but standards and quality have dropped and as a result I cannot give a rating higher than 3 (which may even be too generous). As mentioned, the wonderful staff were the main reason for rebooking but unfortunately this cannot overwrite the overall negative experience, and I will not be considering coming back to the resort for a third time unless things improve.

This is a very nice resort. They are in the process of renovating the rooms because they are outdated. The resort is in desperate need of extermination for roaches & bees. We stayed in a Presidential 1 bedroom which is perfect space for a family. The front desk, bell boys, housekeeping and dining room staff were WONDERFUL! Always a smile and a kind greeting. The entertainment team (Vibe team) was fantastic!! Every night was a treat! The DJs, Trouble, Strapp & Akeem were phenomenal!! I went to the "Culinary Experience" for my B'day which was exquisite! Thanks Shaunette & Yanique for making my day special! We were there during "Hurricane Melissa" Although the reception area took a toll, our building had minimal damage. Throughout Jamaicas' devastation, the entire staff, Miguel (GM) & Vibe Team continued to keep us informed, provided delicious food, clean towels & entertainment. They kept us Comfortable & Safe! Thank you & we appreciate you.

Day three, and i honestly can't fault anything here. A late September mother daughter vaca, it's perfect! Not crowded, the food is both authentic and drinks are superb. Its everything we could have wished for... white sandy beach or poolside with both service and entertainment.
We wakeup, do a private yoga class then to breakfast. Spend the day by the pool/sea whilst sipping on champagne cocktails, then nibbling on the jerk platter (served by the pool).
The spa facilities are first class, and whether you prefer water sports or day trips out its all here for you to enjoy.
I give the trip a 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for service, cleanliness and the location.

Disappointed. The resort needs improvement. The cleanliness of the rooms and supplies such as wash cloths, soap, extra blankets etc are scarce. Our room was not cleaned one day which resulted in our room service plates sitting for two days. There’s only 1 pool for adults (unless you are a Diamond Club member), there’s a splash area for the children but I didn’t see or experience any children themed activities. The dining hall food is repetitive along with the poolside grill. Didn’t get to experience any restaurants because all reservations were full and only half the restaurants on the resort were open. Some staff were friendly, while others acted as if they could not see you or hear you. My credit card was charged twice at check in, but was only provided with an email to contact in order to get it resolved. I paid cash for room charges and was told they don’t have change, so the cashier just didn’t give me any. The pool towels are always out. Some drinks were limited at the poolside bar. The BUG stayed in my tub for two days and I’m not sure why the black things or someone else’s hair would be on my bed. Bathrooms were not cleaned, I purposely left soap scum on the sink (it was there my entire stay). Oh yeah, housekeeping must have forgotten they were changing the pillow case because she simply took it off and didn’t replace it. I don’t know if the workers are tired or overwhelmed but it’s not working out. This was my mom’s first experience at an all inclusive resort and her response is “I’ll stick to my cruises.” The views were pretty but I also feel like the locals are doing anything to get your $.

The Royalton Negril is everything you want an all-inclusive to be. It has the best beaches, service, people, food, and coffee. I treated myself to Diamond Club.
Every morning, I'd be the first one waiting for the coffee shop to open and would take one back to my room to enjoy my ocean view, followed by my daily snorkel on the reef. I took full advantage of the free kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. I treated myself to a catamaran snorkeling excursion to Rick's Cafe, where I jumped off the cliffs and watched the sunset. I was in bed most nights by 10pm and eager to start my day by 6am so I can't speak much about the evening entertainment.
I came in off season and it was exactly what I needed, quiet.
My butler's Tianna and Dean and their manager Delray were very friendly and attentive to my needs. They really go that extra mile for their guests and make you feel at home.
Andrew the cabana "boy" was so kind, and wonderful at his job, working long hours in the hot sun making sure the guests stay hydrated and fed. He was so caring when I got stung by a jellyfish and provided first aid. I really appreciated his professionalism.
I will certainly be back!

10 Family's went for our sons wedding there. The staff went above and beyond to make sure it was a very memorable experience. The resort itself is very nice. The food is definitely decided by an individuals own palate. I personally enjoyed most of my meals. The entertainment VIBE Team did a great job daily. We had butler's because we opted for Diamond Club and could not have been luckier to have met 3 of the nicest men in Jamaica. I would recommend anyone considering a stay here to absolutely do so.

My stay at this resort has been extremely disappointing. The only highlight of the trip was the incredible tour through Prime — especially our guide, Jahee. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make that part of our vacation special.
Unfortunately, everything else was a letdown. The front desk staff was rude and dismissive, and maintenance issues were never handled in a timely manner. Our outlets didn’t work for an entire day, leaving us unable to dry our hair or get ready. Because of this, we missed our dinner reservation — and no one offered any apology or accommodation. When we tried to rebook the next day, we were told we couldn’t because we didn’t have the app. It felt like they were more interested in making excuses than helping guests.
The pool bar staff was rude, room service was painfully slow, and one night our food never came at all. The shower flooded after just a short use, and it took ages to get any response from maintenance.
The spa experience was the final straw. We scheduled a 60-minute massage and waited at the resort all day for this appointment, only to arrive and find out they had booked us for 25 minutes instead. There was no apology, no effort to make it right, and the overall environment was unprofessional and poorly run. Honestly, the spa should be shut down until it’s properly managed.
To be fair, the food itself was good, and the male staff members we encountered were kind and respectful. But good food isn’t enough to make up for how poorly everything else was handled.
I leave tomorrow, and honestly, I can’t leave soon enough. This resort needs serious improvements in customer service, communication, maintenance, and spa operations. I would not recommend staying here in its current state.

I got married here back in May of 2024 and my beginning experience was a mess. Selucia (part of the bridal planning team at the hotel) was very rude and unprofessional to me the bride. This was supposed to be a happy and stress free day for me. I had to involve management with tears in my eyes and request for her not to have any parts in the planning of my wedding and she still was allowed to. I feel like the most important and special day of my life would never be the same bc of such a mean hearted and unprofessional woman. My ceremony was great bc Ayana coordinated it (another staff member from the wedding planning team) and it was breathtaking I would honestly say the best party of my wedding. However, my reception was in an old, smelly and super large space that wasn’t cut out for my wedding guests as an alternative bc they thought it was going to rain and my original space request appeared to no longer be available. When I walked into the space I cried bc nothing I asked was done for my reception and Selucia was apart of it. Every time my husband and I think back on the amount of money spent for our wedding compared to the experience it was definitely unmatched. I would have never had my wedding here if I knew my experience would have been a nightmare like it was with Selucia. I don’t even have any good pics from my reception unfortunately bc the space my reception was held looked so bad. If I could do it again this is a good vacation spot but not for weddings. After countless calls to management months later we were offered a two day stay to come back and have a better experience.

Went to enjoy a relaxing getaway with my expecting wife. (Just needed a place to unplug and reset from life) Our package included access to a "butler service", which may have been the best part of the whole experience. We had 2 amazing gentleman, Demar and Dan, who we were able to communicate with through an app. We tried not to bother them too much but they made all of our dinner reservations, updated us daily on whatever events would be happening, brought us requested food and drinks whenever we were feeling too lazy to get them, turn down services... the works. On our last night, they snuck into our suite after escorting us to dinner and filled it with balloons and romantic lighting to congratulate us on the upcoming birth of our new child. The food, drink, and events were of course outstanding but Demar and Dan were really the highlight of our trip. Can't thank them enough and I hope this review encourages people to seek them out if they plan on staying at the Royalton Blue Waters.

3 Nights 4 days for $1,452. Booked in a year advance. Great price. I gave it 4 stars because of the service we received when we got to the resort. We arrived at 4 and the jerk hut close at 5 the guy working it had an attitude we was trying to get food. Also the swim up bar was closing up and they didn’t want to serve us. We didn’t know at the time that they close at those times.
The next day was great and so forth. The room was very nice. I gave it 4 stars because the shower knob wasn’t keeping the shower on. Called maintenance to fix the problem. It didn’t help. No biggie. The knob wasn’t working. Other than those 2 issues it was great. I recommend it to anyone.

Lets me start with letting you guys know that my experience was during hurricane mellisa. From he first time stepping off the plane, 5 star experience sandals lounge with red stripe and red stripe light on tap. The staff all were overly amazing. Then the strorm hit wrecked the the place. At this point I would like to give them 7 stars. The way the staff took care of us during this storm not being able to get ahold of there own families while displaying smiles and comfort for us. I would like to make two huge shout outs to Vernon which I believe was the general manager stayed very professional and also went above in beyond keeping us updated and always accessible. Daneree which luckily happened to be our neighbor was so comforting, informative, genuine, a absolutely breathe of fresh air and again i repeat she was also a person who didnt know if her family was safe or still went out her way every chance she got to make sure we was good and tht includes the whole staff. All the days we wasnt able to fly out was complimentary which later I found out alot of places charged a distress rate ate 700 dollars but not sandals. They fed us everyday 3 meals one being oxtails and and another being surf and turf this is my first experience in Jamaica and sandals. Im here to say the best experience of customer experience I've ever saw. I strongly recommend every visit this resort its worth it. Ill definitely be booking with them again.

This review is long overdue. I stayed here back in June 2025. My husband and I wanted a quick getaway for my 30th birthday so we got a butler suite Thursday - Sunday. My experience was not recommendable. Most of the young workers are rude and don’t want to be at sandals. One of our butlers, Odane, was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! We were only there for 3 nights and didn’t enjoy him for a second. He had us waiting initially to check into our room for an hour before he even came to welcome us and walk us to our room. Every time we called him it took him 45 minutes to meet us somewhere when he said he will be there right away. We requested a specific alcohol Thursday and he didn’t get it to us until Saturday night, hours before we checked out. He said he had an “emergency butler meeting” Saturday and went missing for half the day after he said he was meeting us at the jerk shack. We spent our entire weekend waiting for our butler when we could’ve serviced ourselves. We wasted our money and time choosing sandals Montego Bay as the place to celebrate my 30th birthday.

We went on our honeymoon and I expected a lot more than what we received. First let's start with the room. It was nice sized and right on the beach with a great bathroom. Negatives about the room is the ventilation fan in the bathroom did not work. The AC does not go below 68 so during the day it can not keep up and the rooms feel very humid. Cools down ok at night. Then we also had the honeymoon package added which we did not get. Next the service was decent. Most of the bartenders were fairly rude and took awhile to get you a drink. As for restaurants we tried them all. Nothing really stuck out and really made us want to come back. Our favorite was Soy which is a Sushi bar restaurant but it also had the longest wait. One night almost waited 2 hours just for some soup and sashimi. Now for location it is fantastic, you are literally right on the beach and we spent most of our days in the ocean or longue by a pool until dinner time. Very relaxing and beautiful. I would go back but so upgrades are definitely needed

The experiences we encountered during this trip was so ridiculous I would never step foot in Jamaica. I was so excited to finally experience Sandals since it was highly recommended. From start to finish the staff was HORRIBLE. We were ignored to the point when we asked for help or service at the pool we got big attitudes. One of the staff members told us “ we could get our own drinks “ even though she was going around being friendly and attending to everyone else. We were so turned off by the aggressive remarks that we didn’t ask for nothing. One of the members of the trip wanted to speak to a manager about the service we have been experiencing all weekend , that was a joke, her attitude was worse than her staff. We have been so polite and tried to just wing it but even to the last minute when getting on the bus to go back home from the resort one of the men, don’t recall his name had hazel eyes was putting us on the bus and checking us off loudly said Get on the bus let’s go. He said it so loudly I was so shocked. He seem annoyed and was so aggressive. The only staff member that was nice was a man named Ian and the bartender towards the end she felt so bad for us cause she was the only one that we would try and look for to ask for help. We gave her all the tips we could because it was a breath of fresh air to get a nice person in that place.

This was first trip to a Sandals resort. We stayed for a week and had an amazing time. I especially loved the entertainment each night. I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did, so that is something I will definitely look for in future travel resorts. The staff members were very courteous, helpful, and polite. We did appreciate the variety of restaurants at the resorts as well. I do wish there were more menu options for in-room dining for the times we just wanted to relax in our room and not go out to a restaurant. There was construction going on in a lot next to the resort (next to our building) that was bothersome at some times.
Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and the amenities that the resort had to offer. We will definitely be back for future Sandals vacations. Thank you for a wonderful trip for our first Sandals experience!

We had an amazing time on vacation. The staff at Sandals Negril was awesome. We had a room in the longshore building and we were happy with it. The mattress was too hard for our liking but the staff got us a mattress topper which solved the problem. The Club Sandals concierge was available to answer our questions and help with reservations. All of the restaurants were good and the food was great. We didn't have a bad meal on property. There are some vendors on the beach, but once you say "no thanks" they walk away. Shoutout to Ashlee- one of the servers at Barefoot and Crema (and Bayside) - she was great. Very funny and personable.
The beach chairs right next to the ocean were usually reserved by butlers, but if you got up early enough, you could leave your towels there and have those seats.
This was our first Jamaican vacation and it didn't disappoint. Can't wait to go back!

Our experience here was excellent. As noted, the sunsets in Negril are amazing. Our view of the ocean was amazing. The service from our Butlers, Damion and Basil, was great. The loyalty and Island Routes team were amazing. We enjoyed our entire week. The one difference with the locations outside of Montego Bay is the drive to the resort.

Sandals Negril is an amazing all inclusive resort for adults only. The beach is amazing, and they have rooms right in front of it. The sunset view is a strong reason for getting a room there.
Food is good, slightly above all inclusive level. Entertainment is corny, but we didn't go there looking for it anyway.
Rooms are nice, although a bit dated. They are renewing some of them, so it may be something they are addressing.
There are great people working there. Andrea B., in the beachside restaurant, is one of them. The photographers are also all good and fun to work with. Special kudos to the diving shop team, I had a great time diving with them and getting my Advanced Open Water certification there (Emron is a very good instructor!).
I hope to get back there, it's certainly worth coming back!

I want to praise Sandals Resorts, specifically Sandals Ochi, for taking such great care of all of its guests during Hurricane Melissa. What began as a vacation planned 2 years in advance for a destination wedding became a dire situation when we found out Hurricane Melissa was approaching landfall. So many people were scrambling to get the next flight out to get home to family and loved ones. Unfortunately, Jamaica (God bless Her) decided to close all airports; therefore, we were all stuck there to ride out the storm.
Sandals' general manager, Carol Bourke, communicated with us daily regarding the plan for sheltering in place and assured us that we were safe. While waiting for the airports to reopen and receiving several flight cancellations, Sandals treated its guests like Kings and Queens, comping our extended nights along with providing full meals and unlimited drinks of our choice.
We heard so many horror stories in regards to what other resorts were doing and how they treated their guests; charging them for the extra nights and feeding them little to nothing. We couldn't believe it and were so thankful we chose to stay at Sandals.
After several flight cancelations, some of our party were able to catch the charter plane that Sandals/Beaches Resorts opted to pay for in order to get their guests to the U.S.A. From that point, we were responsible for getting a flight home. I won't say the charter flight was without flaws or perfect, but I am so thankful we and the entire wedding guest list, bride and groom, made it home safe.
It was our first time visiting Jamaica and staying at any Sandals Resorts. And with the stellar service we received, let's just say we are Sandals fans for life!!!!!!! We are booking our next trip to Barbados soon.

Sandals Ochi was the worst vacation. We arrived on Dec 6, 2025 after speaking with Sandala agents trying to confirm after Hurricane Melissa the resort is up and functioning properly. They assured us it was, but could never speak to anyone on the property. We'll we made it her and the property has a sewer odor in the hall on the fourth floor, and no water supply in our room. We have been waiting 2 hours for a manager to accommodate us

We had a great time at Ochi! The people are fantastic there - so helpful and nice. I had the best massages of my life - Antoinette was completely amazing and Nordea was great! I was truly spoiled to have two massages in the time I was there.

I recently stayed at a Sandals Ochi resort in Jamaica for a wedding and, unfortunately, my experience was far below expectations.
From the moment I arrived, the hallway leading to my room had a strong sewer odor, the room appeared very dated. The bathroom tub was rusty, and overall it did not reflect the quality or luxury that Sandals promotes.
One evening, I wasn’t feeling well and decided to order room service. I called the front desk to be transferred, but no one from room service answered. I tried three times, and on my last attempt, even the front desk stopped answering. Out of options, I went downstairs to the buffet. While in the lobby area, I encountered a manager named Shanice, who informed me that my particular room type does not include room service , something no one had mentioned at check-in.
She apologized and assured me she would correct the situation, but I never heard from her again. No follow-up call, no check-in, no resolution.
For a brand that prides itself on exceptional service, this experience was extremely disappointing. A lack of communication, poor room condition, and unfulfilled promises left a very negative impression. I expected much more from Sandals and hope management seriously reviews their customer service and maintenance standards.

I must say the staff at Sandals Royal Caribbean were exceptional and there was a very high staff to guest ratio. I was greeted by a cold wet flannel and a drink which was exactly what the doctor ordered. Please note I arrived at 11am and check in was for 3pm. They stored my luggage and was more than happy to assist me with settling in on the premises until my room was ready. The room was exquisite, the only downside was that the gentleman that took me to my room spoke so fast and could have taken time to explain things a little more as I felt lost on the first night there. Throughout the stay, staff members went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, special thank to all the staff in Cricketer's pub, you were all superb. My house keeper Terry-Ann was so lovely, thanks again.
The highlight of my trip though was Patricia at front desk. I had a late flight back home and stayed on the premises until it was time to leave. I was told earlier my a team member that I could use that facilities at the gym to have a shower and get changed. Patricia, however gave me access to a room to have a shower and get changed. Now, that is what you call going above and beyond. Thank you so so much and I cannot wait to come again as this was an absolutely breathtakingly epic experience, PS the fire dance was incredible!

We've had an amazing experience at this "adult only" vacation resort. It's absolutely beautiful, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The setting is beautiful, and I felt completely "safe" at all times. Although, very discreet, you see security personnel stationed in various locations throughout the resort and beach area to ensure only the guests are on-site. Lush greenery, well-manicured grounds and flowers. Absolutely a "must" for couples who truly want to relax in a more calm, mature and peaceful setting. This resort is also close to the airport, about a 15 minute ride, but yet, a wonderful setting. We talked with "seasoned Sandals travelers," i.e., throughout their lives they've spent 350 nights in Sandals resorts and said they prefer "Royal Carribean" because of the resort size, proximity to the airport, and the overall experience! We are on our way to South Coast Resort, White House, Jamaica for 4 more nights, so we shall see what that experience is like next. By the way, the food is awesome, especially the Indian Restaurant Bombay, French Restaurant Le Jardienier, and the Carribean Restaurant Spices as well as the Italian Restaurant. This has been a wonderful experience! What are you waiting for? Book the experience already!!!!!

Our Sandals vacation in Montego Bay at Royal Caribbean was really great. The resort was not as big as our first experience at St. Lucia, but we had a great time celebrating with our friends for their 10th wedding anniversary. Our Butler, Andre (Bossi) was superb and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable, worry-free time. He was attentive to our needs, anticipated our desires, and went the extra mile to help us celebrate with banners, flowers, and signs posted for the anniversary. The food was good and our server, Princess, at the Bombay resort was so delightful that we requested her on our return visit to the restaurant. The entertainment was very nice and we are already looking towards the next Sandals location.

Sandals Royal Carribean did not disappoint.
Shadeen (wedding planning office) went above and beyond. To add some further detail, my wife and I had been planning our vowel renewal in Jamaica through Sandals and it was poor. HOWEVER, as soon as we get to the resort Shadeen makes it look effortless and there is no stress. Her attention to detail and "customer first" approach is great. She made our vowels renewal exactly what we wanted, thank you Shadeen you were amazing! Our butlers lan and Nicole were exceptional and in all honesty they made our stay. Both made our individual birthdays special and made us feel special on each.
To be honest, I think if we didn't have lan and Nicole I don't think our stay would of been what it was, they were amazing, friendly, professional and easy going, thank you both.
The maintenance team on the beach were also great and keep the beach in pristine condition whilst also being pleasant and professional.
Few comments for improvement.
My wife and I went to the sushi restaurant in Montego Bay and was met with abit of hostility when asking for Perrier water that we had thought our butler had arranged, it was as if the server w looking down on us, however she did warm u wards the end.

It's not the building, views, or even the food that keep us coming back. We just completed our sixth stay here over the past 15 years and some of the same employees are still there. Getting to know the staff is truly the best part. The managers, Omar and Marvin, are running this place as if it was their own home. Always checking on guests by name, checking the food, and really caring about the experience. You will certainly find prettier rooms with fancy bathrooms all over the Caribbean, but you'll never find better hospitality and personalized service.
If you want anything all, just ask. They'll do it! Special lunch? Unique drink? Just ask!
They even provided coffee beans in my room so I could grind my own coffee. Those little touches make all the difference in the world.

Very luxurious and premium all inclusive resort. My wife and I have stayed here 3 times and will be back! This is an all butler Sandals property and Omar and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. You don't have to lift a finger if you don't want to. Hospitality is the name of the game at this resort! The staff know you by your name and really care about your stay. The food and entertainment is also top notch! Our room was very clean and tidy, not to mention comfortable! I love the overall layout of the resort as well as the overall size of the resort. It's a smaller resort, but it's very well done. A must stay!!!

Before we got to the resort, I was concerned about making the right choice. I worried it would be too small and quiet for me and my partner. The pictures do not do it justice,
After a couple of days of being there, the resort stole my heart. It is truly a magical place.
The beach is beautiful and so calm. The hotel is so elegant and charming, I lived on champagne and lobster pure heaven, but the best bit of this wonderful place is the staff, you can tell they're all really happy there and all love their jobs, our butlers were amazing they made us feel like royalty, nothing was ever too much trouble.
I felt really emotional there as it was just perfect I really did not want to come home, the royal plantation will always hold a special place in my heart

We’ve been to various sandals and SRP is by far our favorite. The entire staff is wonderful and friendly. You feel so welcomed! I believe it all starts with Omar the GM who I cannot say enough about. The fact he knows every guest by name is amazing! He walks around and is present even made ice popsicles 😁 as I told him he should make them and did not disappoint. Our butlers, Duwainey and Richard are out of this world with class and we call them our friend!!! Another individual I want to mention is Simone who gave so much of herself not only to us but to all the guests. This is our second visit to SRP and looking forward to our next visit August 2026.

Yeah Mon!! Sandals South Coast is amazing! This was our first time at a Sandals and also first time at even an all inclusive. The rooms, pools, landscape, beaches are all perfectly maintained. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed Shavia's games on the beach and her karaoke night!! She is so charming and so much fun. Tammy and Tajay at Sushi by the Sea are the most amazing servers. And Damine at the Dive Shop is the best dive instructor, as he did our refresher SCUBA course and took us on two dives. We had not been diving in years and were a bit apprehensive but really wanted to do it. He was so patient and calming and understood exactly the instruction we needed to allow us to enjoy diving again!! We highly recommend it and will return again one day.

We had a lovely time at Sandals South Coast! The views were beautiful, our room was spacious and the food was delicious. I want to give a special shout out to Kayan. She did activities at our pool and we became friends. We came down to see her sing in the evenings. She has an amazing voice! She even sang our first dance song and had us dance. She also came and found us in the lobby to say goodbyes on our last day. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I recently enjoyed a vacation at Sandals South Coast in Jamaica. The hotel itself was wonderful, located in a beautiful setting with stunning beaches, and the food was delicious. While the overall experience was good, I’m not entirely convinced that it meets the five-star standards they claim. The staff was friendly, and the cuisine was great, but the service didn’t always feel top-tier.
However, a significant downside was the journey to the hotel. The road conditions are quite poor and the drive, which takes about two hours, felt risky and challenging. The roads are mountainous and not well-maintained, making the trip stressful. Although the drivers were kind, the journey itself was not what we expected from a luxury experience. We genuinely worried about safety during the ride.
In conclusion, while Sandals South Coast offers a beautiful and relaxing environment, the transportation aspect needs serious improvement. It’s important for the resort to ensure safer and more reliable travel conditions for their guests. Until then, we would hesitate to recommend this destination to others.

This resort turned out to be one of the most disappointing vacations I’ve ever taken. I’m sharing this so others can avoid the same mistake. Don’t be fooled by the glowing reviews — many are incentivized, which hides what guests actually go through here.
When we arrived, we were told our assigned room was “no longer available” and were suddenly transferred to another resort (St. Orchid). We were told it was because of “construction,” but that story fell apart when we discovered Secrets St. James was still open and guests were staying there. They had clearly overbooked and simply moved us elsewhere.
The entire property is dated and poorly cared for, with visible wear and tear everywhere. Bugs in the rooms, maintenance staff soliciting tips, and people openly selling drugs on-site made us feel completely unsafe. To make matters worse, staff even asked to take drinks from our in-room fridge and cooler — something I’ve never experienced anywhere else.
The much-advertised $200 resort coupon is a complete gimmick. It can only be used in small pieces toward hugely inflated spa prices, and staff constantly push spa services to the point of harassment.
Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere — this resort is not five-star quality and is far from the relaxing luxury getaway it claims to be.

We arrived at secrets Montego Bay and started off very well from check in. Most of the days we were out and about on excursions. Our rooms were clean but often housekeeping didn’t clean for example the sink or the cups on the table, or replenish our hand soap. On Sunday 10/12/2025 there was a roach in the room, we thought nothing of it and smashed it and went to sleep. On 10/13 we saw 3 more roaches. There was two that we smashed and 1 got away. It was late In evening we decided to contact the front desk. Where we were greeted with an attitude even tho we did nothing wrong. We spoke to the manager and he didn’t offer anything but an apology. Once we returned to the room we found another roach and saw that they were coming from the refrigerator compressor (pictures attached). The front desk was contacted again where then we were offered to switch rooms at 2230pm. The bellhop met us and took us to a new room. The manager didn’t check back in until the next day and offered us points due to the inconvenience which is not acceptable. We wanted to come there and have a nice time for our wedding anniversary and ended up not having the best time of our trip. Something needs to change, because I spent a lot of my money for this resort and preferred club and to not get service that I pay for is unacceptable. We probably wouldn’t stay at a Hyatt resort ever again.

Visited on a Day Pass. It was a delight we went on a Saturday and the pool vibe was great. The entertainment team was a bit boring but the DJ was great! As far as the customer service I rate the workers at the Oceana a 3/5 not every helpful nor informed on their menu. The jerk chicken cart man was a 10/10 and the jelly cart guy too. It property is large and clean and has adequate restroom on the outside. Beach access as well. The buffet had great meals in terms of taste as well. Great overall experience 👌

This was by far one of the worst all-inclusive experiences I’ve ever had. Please be aware that many of the positive reviews for this resort are incentivized, which hides the truth. Save yourself the money — this place is a complete scam and nowhere near a 5-star resort.
From the moment we arrived, everything went wrong. We were told our room was “no longer available” and were moved to a different resort (St. Orchid). They claimed the entire building was under construction but we later found out that was a lie. The resort wasn’t closed at all; guests were still staying at Secrets St. James. They had simply overbooked and pushed us elsewhere.
The property itself is rundown, poorly maintained, and infested with bugs. Drugs are openly sold on-site, and some of the maintenance staff try to extort guests for tips. Staff members even asked to take beers from our fridge and drinks from our cooler, which was one of the most invasive and uncomfortable experiences I’ve ever had on vacation.
The “$200 resort coupon” is another con it’s only redeemable in small portions toward overpriced spa services, and you’ll be constantly harassed to spend more.
I’ll be escalating my full experience to the Jamaica Tourism Board, because nothing is being done to fix these issues. If we had paid 40% of what we did, maybe I wouldn’t complain but my partner and I spent over $10,000 on this trip and feel completely conned.
This resort should be ashamed to market itself as luxury. I’ll be making sure my experience is shared widely so other travelers don’t go through what we did.

I didn't like that they tried to sell us wine on multiple occasions -at an all inclusive. You cant make a hibachi reservation in advance but when you get there, there are no availabilities. A good portion of the beach had seaweed so we had less area to swim.

I booked Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay for my mother’s birthday, a rare opportunity for her to rest, as she is always caring for everyone else. After over an hour on hold confirming a date change, I was assured everything was ready. When we arrived, there was no shuttle, and I was denied entry for 20 minutes at the hotel gate despite showing my confirmation and passport, causing a backup and near heat exhaustion for everyone waiting in the blazing sun. It wasn't until the taxi driver made a scene that we finally got moving.
Check-in was unorganized, and staff couldn’t locate my reservation or room. It took nearly two hours and calls to Hyatt before I was finally moved to the Preferred side I had reserved. During the stay, I was appalled by unsanitary conditions, fecal splashes on the toilet, dirty water served for tea (see pic), and yellow-tinged, foul-smelling water from the faucets.
I requested follow-up from both the general manager and the director; neither followed through despite repeated promises. The room service manager, to his credit, took responsibility for the water issue and delivered cake and wine for my mother’s birthday, but this gesture could not make up for upper management’s failures.
The only redeeming aspect was the kindness and professionalism of the general staff despite obvious systemic issues. For over $1,300 for two nights, the experience was unacceptable; unsanitary conditions, basic accommodations, no meaningful recognition of a special occasion, and lack of promised follow up from upper management.
I usually stay with Marriott, but I gave Hyatt a chance. This experience made me deeply regret that decision.

I recently returned from a 60th birthday celebration at Wild Orchid. It was an awesome experience. I've been to several resorts in Jamaica and I have to say this one was the best thus far. They offer many activities and live shows. It was Jamaica Day on one of my day's and the "Bob Marley Tribute" was excellent. We did karaoke and water aerobics. Lounged around the pool with exceptional service. An authentic jerk truck with plantain and corn visited the pool area daily. The Blue Mountain restaurant served delicious Jamaican cuisine; I had the oxtail. The Asian Infused restaurant was also delicious. We also got a massage at the Spa; best I've ever had. As I stated earlier, everyone was so accommodating. I'd like to shine a special shout out to a few people who made our stay EXTRA special: Karen (at the lobby bar), Amanda (our appointment Spa setter), Oscar, Erron (pool server), Ray, Peanut, Nadia, Janice, Nick (water aerobics instructor), Sayno, and Sherece (Pool server).

This resort is so outdated and needs renovation bad. Even the preferred side is outdated. Although I didn't experience the roaches I heard several people complained about it in their rooms. Even a couple stated upon check-in they had to ask them to come and clean their rooms again. Amstar which is the excursions are overpriced. You still have to pay for your food for Rick's Cafe. Its best to book through the travel agent or self for any excursions. There was mold throughout the shower area, water was running into the toilet area. House keeping never mopped the floor for cleaning nor changed the sheets the entire stay. Had to keep asking for clean rags and towels. Lamp shades were moldy and they keep the room cool so you won't smell the mold. Please avoid this high price expensive resort. Do not Do not buy from the boutiques very expensive and overpriced. Will never stay here again!

The property and resort is nice, although we weren't blown away or impressed above our expectations. The food is delicious, however there are some that I would avoid, such as El Patio. The a la carte dinners also took a long time, up to 2 hours if you also have dessert, which lead to long wait times if you don't arrive close to opening at 6:00. The app was also not accurate, listing hours for each restaurant, which changed our plans more than once when we arrived to a closed restaurant. Room service was quite slow at times, so we only ordered breakfast which was more prompt. The very large size of the resort (combining 3 resorts) seems to be a challenge from a service and maintenance aspect. The pool area was clean. Although the beach/ocean had a high amount of sargassum, it was still swimmable. The ocean only gets around 3-5ft deep up to the buoys. Lots of beach chairs available. Pool chairs were more limited.
This is the 2nd Secrets we have stayed at, and Secrets Cap Cana was a more impressive resort to us, and left us expecting more from Wild Orchid.
Overall, this is a good resort worth going to and we had a great time, but unless it is your first time at an all inclusive, you should adjust your expectations.

Secrets Wild Orchid is breathtaking: the ocean views, the peaceful atmosphere, the warm and welcoming energy everywhere you go. But what makes this place truly extraordinary is the people who work here.
I was staying at the resort during Hurricane Melissa, and during a situation that could have been frightening, I felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. The staff showed strength, compassion, and grace every single step of the way. They comforted us, reassured us, stayed organized, and treated us like family. Their calm presence and constant dedication meant everything.
I will forever remember the kindness, patience, and humanity I experienced here. It’s one thing to enjoy a beautiful resort — it’s another to feel protected and cared for during one of the scariest moments of your life. I honestly cannot express the depth of my gratitude. You all truly touched my heart.
To every staff member at Secrets Wild Orchid — thank you. You didn’t just work through a storm; you carried us through it. I am leaving with a full heart and a memory I will always hold close. This resort will forever have a special place in my life.

Let me start by saying that Zoëtry is very quaint. Rooms are beautiful and align with the 5 star rating. This is where it ends. Food is mediocre. Every meal there's items missing on the menu. Same for drinks. Had one spoon to stir my coffee all week. No bath mats, room floor is tile and quite slippery. There was only like 40'of us at the resort. The common theme during any conversation was the lack of food, drinks and service in general. One night management offered us a dinner at another resort . They offered to 16 out of 40 people so the list of complainants was quite extensive. When paying 5 star $ you expect 5 star service and food.
It's a shame because it's a beautiful little boutique resort.

This place is a hidden gem just 10 minutes from Montego Bay airport. The staff, the space, and the food are all top notch.
I especially want to celebrate Ricardo. He was attentive and helpful from the moment we stepped foot onto the hotel grounds. If you are his boss and read this, he was awesome and deserves recognition for his hard work to make out vacation flawless.
We will be going back.

2nd time visiting Montego Bay this year and my first time staying here. I must say, I'll be back next year for my bday!! The atmosphere was relaxing and laid back. I really didnt get the full experience of the resort but Jason, my butler made up for it. He would check on me daily, updated me on the menu and made sure I had a hot bubble bath every night. Just made me feel very special during my stay.

This is the 3rd Zoetry we have visited and we will NEVER return to this location. Room service takes an average of 2 hours and the order was never correct. We signed up for an ATV & Water excursion. It was a two hour commute to location and another 90 minute wait for activities. It was 96 degrees; no water (items in lockers) with excessive flies from manure. It was so uncomfortable we decided to pass on ATV and get lunch while we waited for our canoe. After looking at the menu and deciding we were told only two things were available:wings and fries. Transportation back wasn’t until 1:30 so we had a long time to wait to return. Very disappointing trip! The work out room has broken equipment with no air. Towels are not replenished or replaced. We got them ourselves. The window in the bathroom is too transparent to leave the light on while showering. The refrigerator keeps items “not warm” certainly not cool. Upon complaining a rep for Zoetry said Jamaica location receives a lot of complaints. Info needed prior to booking! Run for the hills! Don’t come here! Finally, I am allergic and have a fear of cats. They are everywhere and in the dining room it’s unbearable.

We chose this resort based on a very positive experience at Zoetry Punta Cana, expecting the same level of quality across the brand. Unfortunately, that was not nearly the case.
The overall facility appears outdated and does not meet five-star expectations. The rooms are relatively small but generally clean; however, the pillows were noticeably poor in quality. The pool is rather small and shallow, which might be typical for a smaller resort. The entertainment is limited.
The hotel is situated on a shallow lagoon rather than direct access to the open sea. On the plus side, the water is very warm and calm, with no waves. On the downside, it’s not ideal for swimming, as the water is less clean than the open sea and there is a significant amount of seaweed in the shallow areas.
Included activities are limited to a single sailing boat, kayaking, and snorkeling excursions offered three times a week. The snorkeling spot at the nearby reef is disappointing, with 99.9% dead coral and sparse marine life—though we did spot two skates. Overall, this resort seems best suited for guests who prefer relaxing by the pool with drinks.
Service was inconsistent. We repeatedly had to ask for towels and bath mats—staff removed the used items but often did not replace them. While some waitstaff were attentive, many were slow and unresponsive during dinner. One night, a guest received a napkin with brown stains. On another occasion, the pool ran out of clean towels and the staff appeared unconcerned. Senior staff seemed competent, but junior staff lacked attentiveness and skills.
The food was mediocre with limited variety; despite already having few options, some items were unavailable from the menu. Unfortunately, one of our group experienced food poisoning.
