This is only our first night at the hotel, but I felt I had to share our initial experience. We chose this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but unfortunately our stay has been disappointing so far. Upon arrival, there was no one available to help with our luggage, so we carried it ourselves from the car to reception. After a long check-in, the bellboy assisted us. The reception was constantly crowded with long waits, which is not the service we expected from a four-star hotel. We appreciated the upgrade from a twin room to a king room, but that was the only positive. Our room is a 2–3 minute walk from the elevator. The bed had only a duvet cover, while the duvet was left in the closet for us to put inside ourselves—something we’ve never experienced in a hotel before. The room also had no laundry bag or Do Not Disturb sign, and the bathroom was missing basic amenities such as cotton buds, a shower cap, and a nail file. We also found an inconsistency in the price of the 30-minute pool massage. The hotel’s website advertises it for €70, but we were quoted €95 at the pool for the same treatment—a 36% increase. If prices have changed, the website should be updated so guests are not misled. We sincerely hope the rest of our stay is better, but unfortunately our first impression has been disappointing.

Hello! We’re Iryna and Alina from Ukraine! We loved our time in Hard Rock Hotel in Marbella! That was fun! The rooms were nice and also spectacular pool view! Breakfast was delicious and the large selection of food! The staff are very nice and friendly:) will be back for sure

What an amazing hotel! On arrival we were greeted by super friendly staff and were checked in by Tyler who was absolutely superb. He explained all of the amenities in the hotel and offered to book reservations for us for anything we wanted to do. The hotel itself is luxurious and classy, food and drinks all excellent. The pool is stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed the DJ’s playing around the pool in the afternoons. No sunbed wars, just very chilled and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are beautiful with high quality bedding and toiletries, we had a fabulous view over both pools. Literally cannot fault any aspect of the hotel. The staff are all fun and friendly and cannot do enough for you, our room was cleaned every day by very smiley cleaners! We even had a bottle of bubbly waiting for us in our room as we were celebrating our anniversary. We were made to feel special for the whole visit and can’t recommend this amazing hotel enough. Special thanks to Tyler for the welcome he gave us and the top notch service. We will definitely be back. 11/10

Wonderful experience with exceptional customer service! A special thank to Jesus, who was incredibly kind, attentive, respectful and very professional throughout our stay. He truly made us feel welcome and well taken care of. We really appreciate his outstanding service and would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at the HardRock hotel in Marbella. The facilities were beautiful, the atmosphere was lovely, and the overall service was excellent. A special mention to Irene from Guest Relations, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Her attention really made a difference. Thank you, Irene!

What an incredible stay! This is honestly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The hotel was beautiful, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. They showed the World Cup so you never miss a moment, the hospitality was fabulous! The food was absolutely sublime—every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was outstanding, and it made for a truly relaxing and memorable experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, and I can’t wait to return. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so special!

Our stay at Ikos Andalusia was exceptional from start to finish. The standout feature was the incredible staff—every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our holiday special. The variety of restaurants and cuisines was outstanding, with something to suit every taste. Every meal was beautifully prepared, and the quality of the food was consistently excellent. It really felt like fine dining throughout the resort. The amenities are fantastic, and the selection of pools means there's a perfect spot whether you're looking to relax in peace or enjoy time with family. The resort is beautifully maintained, and every detail has been thoughtfully designed to create a luxurious and stress-free experience. Overall, Ikos Andalusia exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're looking for a luxury all-inclusive resort with exceptional service, incredible food, and first-class facilities, this is the place to be. We can't wait to return!

I suspect I share many of the reasons why a busy parent, with kids, will choose an all-inclusive resort: no hassle, no hidden costs, value for money, great service, and frankly no worries. I got all of this from Ikos Andalusia. Caveat, we paid extra for the deluxe package. So I can only speak for that. The service was incredible! I cannot speak highly enough. They are all friendly, really look after you and very responsive. They adapted to accommodate things when it rained a couple of days and they're just great. Special mentions go out to the following people who made our stay wonderful: Matias, Cia (the sommelier), Johan, Jose (sommelier), Jose Antonio, Erika, Dora, Josh, Cristina, Yegor, Alexandru (he was our personal concierge and was fabulous), and Ana. The food was good. They had a great selection of restaurants to choose from. As it gets very busy, I recommend you book what you want for your whole stay in advance. I recommend booking before you arrive. Well worth it and reduces the hassle. Not their fault if it's too busy and they can't switch you around. The rooms were nice. They're not fancy, but they're very clean and well-maintained. The view of the sea was really nice. The facilities are great. You find hidden gems as you explore the resort. What was really cool is that even though they were at full occupancy, it never felt crowded. That adds to the relaxation. Overall, recommend this place highly!

We just came back from our trip to Ikos Andalusia. We went there from Tuesday till Sunday. It was absolutely amazing. Such kind and accommodating staff. They met our every need, even needs we didn't know we had! For our check-in we were greeted with such warmth by a lovely young lady who's name I unfortunately forgot. She set the mood for our whole holiday. The food was amazing but make sure to make reservations in advance because it can be fully booked pretty quickly. The pools were lovely and 24/7 roomservice is such a nice service to have. The beach is very accessible and their live music was a wonderful way to end our night every day. We will be back to Ikos for sure! Kind regards, Amy

Beautiful location, a few things to know Staff are exceptionally friendly and the beachfront setting is stunning, hard to beat. A few notes for prospective guests: - Family-focused: Bikes (and bike bells) are a constant presence - this leans strongly kid-centric. - Rooms: Comfortable but on the smaller side, even connecting rooms. - No water sports on-site: You're directed to a nearby beach area instead. - Bar hours: Officially till 1am, but often closes earlier in practice. Excellent service and location overall - just worth knowing if you're not travelling with kids or want water sports on-site.

They reduced the service and closed most restaurants. The pools are only open until 7 PM. It's also not a family Hotel, it has signs everywhere to be quite, to not use certain things and not to take the bathrobe out of the room... Even as half the hotel was empty, they gave us a dark room without a view. We ordered Asian food, as it seems to be an Asian resort. It had absolutely no taste and there was no asian cook involved at all. The prices are very high and if you want to use the SPA (even as a hotel guest) they charge you again. They show on the website a very nice high-end resort and when you are there it is middle class with to high prices. I would not recommend going there, there are much better options in Spain where you get more.

Disappointing Experience for a 5-Star Hotel! We spent two nights at this hotel and, unfortunately, the experience fell far below the expectations we had for a 5-star property. We booked a double room with a private courtyard and soundproofing; however, the room we were given was completely different from the photos and description shown at the time of booking. Both the room itself and the view we were given were extremely disappointing. Within just a few minutes of arriving, we contacted reception and requested a room change. We were told that our request would be looked into and that we would be contacted later. Unfortunately, we never received any response or update throughout our entire stay, which we consider unacceptable for a hotel claiming to offer 5-star service. In addition, the cleanliness was below the standard we expected, and the large number of mosquitoes and flies made our stay even more unpleasant. There was also an extra bed in our room, which we did not understand the purpose of, as the booking was for a couple. We also found cigarette ash, despite the fact that neither of us smokes. The only aspects we truly appreciated were the hotel’s exterior areas and the swimming pools, which are beautiful and well maintained. Unfortunately, these were not enough to make up for the poor quality of the room and the lack of attention given to our request. Considering both the high price and the standards expected from a 5-star hotel, we left extremely disappointed. We cannot recommend this hotel and we certainly will not be returning!

Asia Gardens is one of those rare hotels that genuinely feels like an escape. The tropical gardens, waterfalls and collection of beautifully designed pools create the impression that you’ve travelled much further than the Costa Blanca. Each pool has its own atmosphere, whether you’re after peaceful relaxation, a leisurely swim or simply a different spot to spend the afternoon with a book. A particular highlight was the 9am Qi Gong and meditation class. The instructor was excellent, making the session accessible and enjoyable regardless of experience. For an hour, the usual mental clutter disappeared and I left feeling calmer, more focused and ready for the day ahead. The hotel also deserves credit for its vegetarian options. Too often, vegetarian menus feel like an afterthought, but there was a genuinely varied choice across the restaurants, with plenty of fresh and interesting dishes. Our room was equally impressive. The super king bed was gloriously comfortable and made it dangerously easy to justify an afternoon nap between pool visits. If there is one area where the guest experience could be improved, it would be the reliance on wristbands. Having to present or scan them repeatedly throughout the stay felt slightly at odds with the otherwise seamless luxury experience. A more discreet digital solution, such as room-key recognition or app-based identification, would feel more in keeping with the hotel’s premium positioning. That said, this is a minor observation in what was otherwise a wonderful stay. Between the wellness programme, exceptional surroundings, comfortable rooms, excellent food and abundance of pools, Asia Gardens remains one of the most relaxing hotels I’ve visited. A place that reminds you that slowing down is sometimes the most productive thing you can do.

Great place but wasted potential. We went for 3 nights with out little boy who's 2.5 for a 'recharge' break. Now the hotel grounds and lobby are stunning, check in felt 5* and the pools genuinely are amazing. Absolutely no complaints. Where I feel it really lacks is captialising on the basics. A morning coffee for me is essential, staying round europe and the world at other 5* spa resorts (not all inc) I'd expect to be able to purchase a morning coffee of a high quality - at Asia Gardens you are stuck with a quite poor breakfast buffet, machine coffee which is in paper cups to take out the busy dining hall. Given the pristine seating areas (like outside the Koh Samui restaurant) it's criminal not to be able to unwind. Beyond the front desk, service was 'ok'. Poolside in the heated pool we ate and drank all day, each time I would have to go to the bar to request drinks and food, did not feel premium. Huge potential here and I'd love to go back IF the basics were fixed. Otherwise, hotels like Nous in Santorini are a better option.

My husband and I stayed at Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa in Alicante from 1st–4th March and had a lovely stay. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The breakfast restaurant team were friendly and attentive each morning and, on our last day, kindly opened an hour early to serve us a hot breakfast as we had to leave for a flight — an extremely thoughtful gesture. The staff in both the Koh Samui and Polop restaurants also provided excellent service and made our meals very enjoyable. I would also like to mention how helpful the staff were when I thought I had lost my handbag. They went out of their way to assist me, which I really appreciated. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We left with wonderful memories and will definitely be returning. My husband and I would not hesitate to recommend Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa to anyone visiting Alicante. With our best wishes.

Wonderful Hotel We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights at the end of July. After reading some negative reviews before our trip, we were a little worried, but those concerns turned out to be completely unnecessary. We had paid extra for the Favourite Club, and we definitely didn’t regret it. It gives you access to the Fancy Pool area. Although the pool area itself is not very large, it is cosy and relaxing. Families with children are welcome there. The bar and restaurant by the Fancy Pool are excellent, with delicious food and cocktails. Our family of four was accommodated in the Wave block, while my brother stayed in the Palm block. The rooms were spacious, and we had a huge terrace. The hotel grounds are large, so even when the hotel is busy, it never feels overcrowded. There are three main pools, plus an additional one if you have access to the Favourite Club. The Sky block is quite far from everything else. We only went there for dinner, and honestly, neither the block itself nor its surrounding area appealed to us. There were always plenty of sunbeds by the pools, so there was no need for people to wake up at 6am to reserve them with towels. The entertainment programme was enjoyable, and the evening shows were very good. The animation team worked incredibly hard and did a fantastic job. The beach is no more than a five-minute walk away.

Nika Abouhashemi

We came back from this hotel yesterday after a 5-night stay, and overall, we had a really lovely experience. We stayed in the Sky building and had a large, clean room that was perfect for our family with two young children. The room had a beautiful view and, most importantly for us, it was very quiet, so the kids could sleep peacefully. The food was absolutely fantastic! 😍 I had read some mixed reviews before coming and was a little worried, but honestly, we were very impressed. Breakfast had a huge variety of hot and cold options, pastries, different cheeses, cold meats and plenty more, so there was definitely something for everyone. Dinner was also excellent. There was a pasta and pizza section every evening, as well as lots of salads, cheeses and different types of bacon. On top of that, there were several different dishes added each night, so there was always something new to try. Everything was fresh, tasty and regularly replenished. The entertainment was another highlight. There were activities throughout the day for different age groups, and the kids’ mini club in the evenings was a big hit with my children. They even learned the “Chu Chu Wa” song during our stay! 😂 The beach is only about a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It’s a beautiful sandy beach, great for children to play and suitable for swimming for all ages. The biggest downside for me was the drinking water. With temperatures around 32°C in September, I really think free drinking water should be easily available throughout the hotel. Instead, we had to pay for bottled water, and we spent around £50 on water during our 5-night stay. This was quite disappointing, especially in such hot weather. The other negative point was the housekeeping. The shampoo and body wash containers in our bathroom were empty and weren’t refilled even after we requested the room to be cleaned. The floor also wasn’t vacuumed or mopped — the bed was simply made and the pillows arranged. I found this disappointing and definitely think the housekeeping service could be improved. Despite these issues, we really enjoyed our stay. The food, entertainment, room, location and beach were all excellent. With better housekeeping and free access to drinking water, this hotel could be even better. Overall, we had a great family holiday and would happily recommend it. ❤️

I have some notes on this hotel but overall amazing! Animation team was so so sweet and very enthousiastic. Normally I don’t participate in activities but the team really motivated almost everyone in the hotel to dance and sing in the evening but also play games in the pool!! Thank you 🙏 Enough places to sit around, sun and swim in several pools. Beautiful water and always clean. The food was flavorful, especially lunch. Cocktails where meh, and they don’t give straws which is one of the only notes I have on this hotel.

Unfortunately, our stay was a huge disappointment from beginning to end. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, nothing went smoothly, and we never felt welcomed or valued as guests. The check-in process was disorganized and frustrating, and the issues continued throughout our stay. The level of service was poor, staff were unhelpful, and the overall experience fell far below what we expected. To make matters worse, an alarm went off in our room every single night, repeatedly disturbing our sleep and making it impossible to properly rest. Despite this ongoing issue, it was never resolved satisfactorily. Instead of enjoying our vacation, we found ourselves constantly dealing with unnecessary problems. By the time we checked out, we were simply relieved to leave. This hotel did not meet even basic expectations for hospitality, and based on our experience, we would not recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay. We hope the management takes guest feedback seriously and makes significant improvements because, unfortunately, our experience was one of the worst we’ve had.

I recently stayed at Alua Calvia and was absolutely delighted. The quality of service, food, and overall comfort here far exceeds the hotel's official rating — you can feel it in every detail. A special shoutout goes to the team: the staff is incredibly well-coordinated, professional, and genuinely attentive to the guests. The cuisine is beyond praise! Both breakfasts and dinners were amazing, incredibly delicious, and featured a great variety of choices every day. I stayed as a guest of My Favorite Club and it was worth every penny. The level of service in the club rooms was flawless, and the club lounge itself was absolutely wonderful with a fantastic atmosphere. I have stayed at other Alua properties before, but this one is hands down the absolute best. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay with our family! Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very family-friendly. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. Our children had an amazing time, and there were plenty of activities to keep them entertained. The food was delicious, the facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you for making our family vacation so special. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to other families!

Fantastic experience from start to finish at Blau Punta Reina Resort! The coastal settings are stunning, the grounds are spotless, and the overall vibe is super relaxed yet fun. Every team member we met was so welcoming, but one guy really stole the show. Huge shoutout and thank you to Mickey! His positive vibes and genuine warmth made such a massive difference during our stay. He truly goes above and beyond for the guests. We had the best time and will definitely be back next year!

Pros (+) The hotel is situated in a beautiful location. Unfortunately, the sea view we paid for was severely limited by the hotel buildings. We were disappointed. All meals were prepared deliciously and with care. The restaurants were comfortable, spacious, and clean. The entire facility made a good impression on us. The staff was always smiling and ready to help. Cons (-) The only thing that could be done is to address the people who take up the pool loungers with towels in the morning and then don't use them all day. Other than that, no complaints.

This is a wonderful place to stay with kids. I was traveling alone with my 5-year-old daughter, and we really enjoyed the food (good variety), drinks, and activities offered. Our room was extremely clean and recently renovated. A huge thanks to the kids' club and all the activities available. The entire animation team did an excellent job; my daughter always wanted to participate in more activities. Special thanks to Irina for being supportive and kind.

Joep van Bakel

We had a lovely stay at this resort. Our room was located in a more quieter area of the resort with close access to the pools and beach. The entertainment team was great, lots of things organized for smaller children, teens and adults. Their evening shows are amazing. The main pool areas are good, however I personally found the sunbeds tightly arranged next to another. The infinity pool area was a lovely escape from the main pool area.

Therese Kidman

We had a wonderful stay here. The reception staff at check in were welcoming and efficient. We were lucky enough to have a spacious room on the ground floor which was clean and bright and which provided large bottles of toiletries for use during our stay. The room was well serviced daily although I would have been happier if towels weren’t replaced daily despite being hung up. The pool area overlooks the beach but is quiet and peaceful. Maybe a few more sunbeds for the number of guests at the hotel. Being Able to order at your sunbed using a qr code is handy. Breakfast was fine. Fruit, bread, cured meats and cheese and sufficient hot options. Very friendly waiting staff as well. The piano bar in the evening is the place to be With amazing views over the bay and hard working waiting staff doing their best to keep us all happy. The gym is a bit small. Maybe could do with an outside covered area with more equipment. I know we all have EarPods, but some livelier music in the gym would not go amiss. All in all, we loved it here and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Villamil!

Janine Quatrevingt

Really enjoyed my stay. Beautiful hotel with great amenities, overlooking a peaceful turquoise blue ocean bay with white sandy beaches. Location is great if you are looking for family run tapas, local tennis courts (and academy), and the hotel's own bar terrace with stunning views for evening cocktails. I also accidentally left my necklaces in the hotel room... the staff found and saved; now on it's way back to me. Thank you. Beautiful experience, beginning to end.

We celebrated our honeymoon here. The staff went above and beyond to make this vacation special for us including a honeymoon champagne setup upon arrival and exquisite hospitality. I will note that during our stay the average age of guests were middle to older aged individuals—which is fine but we were hoping to mix and mingle a bit more with people of our age range. We paid for all-inclusive which I would not recommend. I say this because the hotel was a bit “boring”. Most people at the resort were sleeping or reading during the day, no music, no entertainment. There were maybe less than 5 people in the pool at a time. I huge con was also they didn’t slow drinks with you in the pool. This was a huge draw back to the all inclusive deal. We ended up spending a lot of time outside the hotel making the all inclusive not worth it for us. But again the staff and the hotel itself was absolutely perfect. I think if you’re going on a trip here to relax and lounge this is the hotel for you. But if you’re looking for a more upbeat social environment this may not be it for you. But the location was great. Very close to a lot of shops and restaurants.

Lucy Spy

We spent a wonderful 5 nights at the hotel. We stayed in a swim-up room and, although the weather wasn’t the best during our stay, I still made the most of the “private pool” as the water temperature was very pleasant. The ambiance of the hotel was fantastic, with spacious and clean rooms, a great breakfast selection, and plenty of delicious food choices in all the restaurants, including the buffet. The staff were amazing — a special thank you to Diego at reception, as well as Matias, Camila, and of course the lovely Monika. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We also used the spa facilities, and the deep tissue massage by an Argentinian lady (sorry, I can’t remember your name) was excellent. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

Emily McCann

Overall had a good stay, but I don’t think it quite justifies the 5-star price tag. The hotel has a lot of character, is kept very clean and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. However, it’s definitely showing its age in places and could do with a refresh, particularly the bathrooms. We had a disappointing start as we were initially given a Junior Suite instead of the Double Deluxe Frontal Sea View room we had specifically booked. The room itself was fine, but it was directly below the breakfast restaurant and we were woken early by chairs scraping across the floor above us. To be fair to the hotel, they moved us when we raised the issue and the second room was exactly what we’d hoped for. The pool loungers were usually claimed early, although that’s no different to most hotels these days. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the location is excellent. Just be aware that Paguera is very geared towards German tourists, with lots of German bars, restaurants and pubs. Nothing wrong with that, but if you’re looking for a more authentically Spanish atmosphere, it’s worth bearing in mind.

jardi

We booked a day pass for 7 people, to celebrate our mom's 80th birthday. The booking process was flawless and the reception staff were friendly. The grounds were beautiful, very well kept, clean and quiet, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent by the pool. The day pass included lunch in "restaurant Es Clot" which is in fact more like a pool bar. Unfortunately our perfect day was a bit marred by the absolute lack of competence of the waiters, who had no idea what they were doing and although the food was nice, the lunch experience was an utter disappointment. You expect some level of service from a 5 star hotel, which the staff at Es Clot didn't provide. We still enjoyed our day but would not recommend as the lunch is part of the experience and it simply was not up to par.

Lieselotte Staes

We stayed at Zoëtry Mallorca for 10 days, and it is truly a hidden gem. The hotel is beautiful, spotless, and perfectly located away from the busy tourist crowds. If you’re looking for peace and tranquility, this is the perfect place. The food was very good. Our only small criticism is that there could be more staff during breakfast and in the restaurant and bar. That being said, the team works incredibly hard and always does their best. A very special thank you to Fernando at the reception. He gave us such a warm welcome and went above and beyond throughout our stay to make sure all our wishes were fulfilled. We would also like to thank Marc, a genuinely kind man who was wonderful with our children and always happy to help. Finally, a little reminder to all future guests: if you treat the hotel staff with kindness and respect, you will receive the same in return—often even more. Their dedication and friendliness deserve to be appreciated.

We chose Zoetry for my partners birthday weekend and had an amazing stay here! What really stood out was the exceptional service. The entire team was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every detail seemed to be taken care of. A beautiful hotel, wonderful service, excellent food, and the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing and romantic getaway. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Such a lovely place. The location and the set up makes you feel like you’re in a fairy tale. The hospitality from the staff made the difference, starting from the warm welcome from the host and all the way to the housekeeping. Special mention to a very sweet lady named Vicky who made our stay even better. Highly commended place to stay or for just a calm night out in one of their restaurants. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Juan Ramirez

This hotel is truly stunning. The property could easily by itself be a tourist attraction with the beautiful chapel and windmill, mini library, evening live music in the charming courtyard, and grass tennis courts. And yet it’s quite secluded and feels like a relaxing paradise. The service was also top notch. The only two drawbacks were that the rooms were a bit worn down but perhaps that’s expected from a historic property like this one. The other thing is that evening dinner (for the main restaurant) is served outside and the bees and flies can be quite in your face making the dining experience less than ideal. Overall, we would like to fly back to Mallorca just to stay here again!

Very disappointing stay – nothing like the pictures We stayed at Barceló Ponent Beach and unfortunately left very disappointed. The hotel looks completely different online compared to what we experienced in person. The pictures are extremely misleading — especially when it comes to the pool, which is much, much smaller than it appears online. It honestly felt like catfishing. The cleanliness was one of the biggest problems. Our room was dirty, with stained floors, dirty pillows, and dirty walls. The ventilation was completely covered in dust, which was honestly one of the worst parts. The toilet flush also did not work properly. We also experienced problems with cleanliness around the hotel. There were dirty plates, and sometimes the plates were still wet and had stains on them. The pool area was also disappointing. The fight for pool loungers can get completely out of hand because there simply aren’t enough places for everyone. The pool area downstairs by the sea also smelled strongly of sewage, which was very unpleasant. The entire hotel often smelled strongly of chemicals, and the water in the bathroom smelled heavily of chlorine. The pool in the wellness area was also not clean. At the beginning of our stay, we received a VIP Guest Card stating that we could stay in our room until 3:00 PM on the day of departure. However, this was not honored. We were asked to leave the room earlier, and when we asked why, we were not given a proper explanation. The one positive thing we can say is that the entertainment staff were very good. They were friendly, energetic and did a great job entertaining the guests. Overall, we are very disappointed with our stay. The hotel did not live up to the expectations created by the pictures and information online, and the cleanliness and maintenance issues were simply not acceptable for us.

We chose to stay in this hotel based off a previous Barcelo stay, and we are quite disappointed! The buffet food is hit & miss! We had no option to do only b&b, had to do half board! Staff are lovely however some bash their way around the restaurant. We have a family room overlooking the beach which is fab, room is modern. However, the overhead shower head doesn’t work. The AC in the rooms is basically non existent it’s a set function you can’t control, we had to ask for a fan. You rent your Towels for the pool, we got 2 newer ones and two older ones with holes in them, you have to pay a €5 deposit & a €2 cleaning fee if you need to change them! The lifts take a while to arrive , we’ve had to carry the buggy down the stairs on most trips. The Location of the hotel is great, it’s a short walk into the main town. The hotel has access to a stunning beach, ideal for babies, really calm with no waves.

Paige Allen

Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It’s very run-down and basic with damaged walls, rubbish, stained carpets and poor bathrooms, I’d say it’s more of a 2/3 star hotel than a 4 star. The reception staff were incredibly rude and unfriendly, they refused to help us with arranging taxis and provided no guidance. There were also loads of cockroaches around the hotel during our stay. There was no air conditioning running throughout most of the hotel, which made the communal areas really uncomfortable, and multiple guests were complaining about it while we were there. There’s no porter service either, so you have to drag your suitcases up a steep hill and flights of stairs yourself, which isn’t ideal, especially in the heat. The sunbeds are all crammed together, and unless you’re out reserving one at around 6am, you’ll struggle to get a decent spot. The pools are small and overcrowded, so we ended up paying to go to beach clubs instead. The beach is not owned by the hotel and you have to pay for beach beds, the reception staff failed to mention this and mislead us which was frustrating! The food was okay but nothing special, and even the drinking water around the hotel was always warm, with no cold water available, which was really disappointing in the heat. Overall, the hotel just didn’t live up to its 4 star rating. We were really disappointed with our stay and wouldn’t return.

Justin

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely incredible. The views are breathtaking, and the food is delicious with so many options to choose from. However, the absolute best part of the resort is the animation team! There are fun activities happening at all hours of the day, including amazing pool parties and a fantastic silent party. The nightly shows are completely professional and so entertaining! A huge shoutout to the amazing team who made our vacation unforgettable: DJ Shaggy kept the energy high, the choreographer La profe is brilliant, and the chief Barbie runs everything perfectly. Special thanks to the wonderful entertainment staff Capuchino, Koko Loco, Shakira, Macarena, Papi Chulo, Nutella, and Brasil you are all stars! We can't wait to come back!

I genuinely feel like the entertainment team at Barceló Ponent Beach deserve the biggest possible amount of credit. I’m only 5 days into my holiday and I honestly cannot believe how hard these guys work. They are absolutely relentless. Every single day there is something going on and somehow their energy never seems to drop. The variety is incredible too, from Latin music to current hits, different styles, games, shows and entertainment that genuinely caters for everyone, no matter what language you speak. I actually got up on the stage myself and did one song of karaoke. ONE SONG. 😂 I came off feeling like I was going to suffocate in the heat and I was exhausted. Then you watch this team perform a 30 song series, singing, dancing and giving absolutely everything they have, and they make it look like it was an hour’s work. It honestly makes you realise just how much effort they put in behind the scenes. They are working in ridiculous heat, day after day, and somehow still come out with huge smiles, incredible energy and enthusiasm. I genuinely don’t think they are paid enough for how hard they work. They don’t just perform and disappear either. They come out afterwards and interact with the crowd, get involved with guests and genuinely make everyone feel included. You can see that they care about creating a good atmosphere and making sure people are enjoying themselves. I’ve even got videos from my stay because I genuinely want to remember how good they have been. They have mentioned that they don’t even know if they will be here next year, and honestly, if they aren’t, it will be a massive loss for this hotel. To the entire entertainment team, THANK YOU. You are so hardworking, so talented and your energy is genuinely infectious. I really hope the hotel management see this and understand just how valuable you are. You deserve recognition, appreciation and honestly, you deserve to be paid more. Five days into my holiday and you have already been one of the biggest highlights of my stay. Please don’t ever underestimate how much guests notice the effort you put in. Absolutely outstanding team. You deserve every single bit of praise you get. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Overall our family had a wonderful stay at Jumeirah Mallorca. The hotel is on a mountain with beautiful views of the sea and the mountains, we had the most gorgeous sunsets. What stood out most was the exceptional service and genuine attention to detail. The team consistently went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, especially our children. From the moment we arrived, the kids were welcomed with gifts. When we entered our room, they found adorable plush animals, petite robes and slippers waiting for them—a lovely surprise that immediately set the tone for our stay. Even at the restaurants, the little touches continued with beautifully designed coloring kits. It made dining with young children both fun and easy. The hotel is incredibly family-friendly. The dedicated children’s pool felt peaceful and almost private, the kids’ club was excellent, and the entire property is designed in a way that families can truly relax without sacrificing the luxury experience. The resort itself is beautiful. We loved how it’s seamlessly integrated into the natural stone cliffs, blending beautifully with the surrounding landscape. It has the feel of a true resort, where it’s enjoyable to wander through the property rather than feeling confined to one building. The complimentary shuttle to Port de Sóller was also extremely convenient. The food exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was outstanding, with an excellent selection of fresh local produce, and the casual restaurant served some of the freshest fish we had during our time in Mallorca. The spa is absolutely beautiful, with wonderful facilities that made for a truly relaxing experience. We also appreciated thoughtful touches like flower petals placed on our bed during turndown service. The hotel is beginning to show its age in some areas, and a refresh of the rooms and certain facilities would elevate the experience even further. That said, the property is exceptionally well maintained, and its charm, setting, and service more than make up for it. The only real disappointment was our room. While comfortable, it felt quite small for our family. During check-in we were offered a paid upgrade, but when we later asked if there was any possibility of moving to a larger room, we were told nothing suitable was available. Given the hotel’s otherwise exceptional level of hospitality, we had hoped for a bit more flexibility. Overall, Jumeirah Mallorca delivers a luxurious yet relaxed family resort experience with outstanding service, beautiful surroundings, excellent dining, and thoughtful touches that make both adults and children feel genuinely cared for. It’s a hotel we would happily return to.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jumeirah Mallorca and were truly impressed from start to finish. Everything was simply perfect – from the breathtaking location and beautiful views to the exceptional service and attention to detail. The entire team was incredibly warm, professional and welcoming, making us feel genuinely special throughout our stay. The hotel itself is stunning, with a peaceful and luxurious atmosphere that made it very hard to leave. We were completely blown away by the experience and would happily come back anytime. Jumeirah Mallorca exceeded all our expectations and is definitely one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. A huge thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable. We absolutely loved it! ❤️

★★★★★ An unforgettable stay at Jumeirah Port Soller We had the most incredible holiday at Jumeirah and honestly can't wait to come back. The views here are simply stunning, waking up to the sea and the mountains every morning was something we'll never forget. But what truly made our stay was the staff. From the breakfast team, where nothing was ever too much trouble and every request was met with genuine warmth, to the bellboys who rushed to help with our bags every single time, the attentiveness was on another level. It honestly felt like a home from home, right down to the small details. They left binoculars in our room for our 5-year-old son, and he spent hours watching the boats in the bay, such a thoughtful touch that meant so much to him (and us!). As parents we took turns using the adult only pool but the family pool was equally as relaxing. Always beds and never felt crowded. Both pools are so special overlooking the sea and port. Beyond the hotel, we loved wandering through Port de Sóller in the evenings and taking the vintage tram into Sóller, both wonderful ways to spend an afternoon. But every time, we found ourselves looking forward to getting back to Jumeirah. This was, without doubt, one of the best holidays we've had as a family. We had stayed at a ‘5 Star’ before this week but Jumeirah is 100% 5 star and it felt like the luxury holiday we needed to relax. Thank you to the whole team for making it so special, you’re an amazing team …we'll be back!

Had an exceptional stay from the moment we entered the hotel till the moment the car was packed all thanks to the helpful staff. The views were phenomenal 10/10, my only comment would be the condition of the property needs some improvement. And variety of restaurants is all catered as fine dining, hoped there were more family oriented or international cuisine in the hotel. But still the views alone would bring me back.

We started our honeymoon off here and were very happy. The suite we got was very nice. Spacious, clean, nice amenities, amazing view of the sea with its own terrace. There were not many other rooms on our level. We rarely saw anyone else and never heard any noise in our room. Very private. We do wish we upgraded to a suite above the lobby so we could have been closer to the infinity pool and gym, both of which are very nice and we used every day. Breakfast was also very good with a great view. Service was friendly and quick, unlike some other reviews I’ve read. The shuttle down to the port and back runs every hour between 10 am and 11 pm. We do wish it was every 30 minutes just for convenience but overall, every hour isn’t bad. And please note calling taxis can take awhile since they have a limited number and try to make efficiency on pickups while dropping off. It took about 45 minutes for our taxi to arrive to transfer us to our next hotel in Valldemossa. The hotel has a lot of levels and sprawls along the cliff side. So you could end up taking multiple elevators or stairs depending on where your room is. We do wish the hotel was a tad smaller so it was more personal but the service received was pretty top notch all around. I did call for more coffee pods twice and never received them, most likely because the request has to get passed a long and was lost along the way. Still, we would stay here again in a heartbeat and actually wished we had stayed an additional night instead of the 3 nights we were there.

Lovely hotel with some great members of staff, in particular Jarrell from the entertainment team and Marco in La Veranda. It was very busy and subsequently after paying £1600 for all inclusive we could only use two out of four of our à la carte allowance. We spoke to a girl on reception about this and she was very unhelpful saying that it was busy and there was nothing they could do unless we ate at 9.30pm! Not what I would expect for a 5 star hotel. We have been to the one in Palma Nova which was much better. Unfortunately we won’t be returning.

Great resort for families with younger kids! Exceptional staff, extremely clean, well appointed rooms, and great pools/playgrounds/entertainment for kids. Only feedback is that the rooms are a little hard to fit both adults and kids, as the bathrooms don't have doors and open to the living room (so if someone is sleeping in the living room it's hard to go to the bathroom without waking them. Highly recommend investing in the 2 bedroom suite if you have 2 kids. Do not come here without kids under age ~12. It's a kid focused resort, and adults (or adults/teenagers) could find better spots.

We spent a family holiday here this August. The hotel is a the rare mix of somewhere that feels as though you are staying with friends, with all the benefits of a first class resort. The staff are incredibly attentive, making the experience luxurious and deeply relaxing. The facilities are fabulous and we felt very comfortable letting our 9yr old explore the exciting range of pools which are all attended by lifeguards. Highly recommend.

We had booked half board but all of the restaurants were almost fully booked for the duration of our stay, meaning we had to eat at the buffet all but one of the nights. The buffet is average at best with most options barely warm. We ate at the Veranda one night. It had no vegetarian main course which meant we had to order a bunch of sides instead. Sandwiches/pastries in the coffee shop are stale. Do not include meals with your stay!

Returned from a fantastic trip to this hotel. Third holiday here and it seems to be getting better every year. It’s not cheap but we feel it’s definitely worth the extra money. A particular thanks to the kids entertainment team. My son has Down Syndrome and they were absolutely amazing with him and my other 2 kids. Hotel is definitely suited to families and in particular younger kids. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
