Lovely resort. Very helpful staff (who accommodated my child when she got poorly by allowing food into the room), nice rooms with full air-conditioning, decent food with a good choice and daily rotating dishes. Many pools to choose from, lifeguards on duty around the pools, great choice of drinks and different activities to do in the day and entertainment at night. I Highly recommended staying here.

We arrived at SBH Costa Calma Beach Resort expecting the holiday from hell after reading some of the online reviews, but it turned out to be one of my favourite holidays I've ever been on.
The food was excellent, with plenty of choice and something different available each day. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and did exactly what we needed them to do. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist with any questions or requests.
We also rented a car through the hotel, which was straightforward and made it much easier to explore the island. While there isn't a huge amount to do in the immediate local area, having a car allowed us to visit some beautiful beaches and attractions further afield.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and found that our experience was completely different from many of the reviews we'd read beforehand. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

We had an amazing holiday at this resort!
Its at the great location,next to the beaches.Pools are great,clean,well maintained,kids pool at the perfect temperature.
Food was very good,lots of variety,fresh,tasty and we were full after every meal.
Rooms were cleaned ,even tought hotel has few outdated bits to replace for better impersion.
And definitly the best part were animation team!Vivian was brilliant with kids in Mini Club! Filipo was making sure that we are entertainmened with activities,and other ones like Francesco and Anna were super friendly. They helped take our holiday to the next level.
We left with great memories and hopefully its wasnt our last time!

I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. I booked an 8 day stay with my partner which went from bad to worse.
On our first night we discovered that there were cockroaches coming in and out of gaps in the wall of our room as well as the air con not working. We immediately notified reception and requested a room change. We were told they had no other rooms available and the hotel has cockroach’s everywhere so if they were to change our room there would likely be many more as we were currently on the top floor (5th). I spent the following days reporting these issues as well as making the hotel aware my partner was asthmatic and 6 months pregnant meaning the conditions were a risk to her wellbeing. Despite this no resolution was provided. The hotel later said they do not provide air conditioning to the rooms outside of the peak summer months and if I had an issue with this I had to take it up with my holiday provider as there was nothing they would do.
Additionally as mentioned by other guests the hotel has been poorly maintained with multiple facilities not working or not existing, such as the gym. Throughout our stay the urinals in the bathrooms around the hotel would often overflow flooding the bathrooms in urine.
Finally if you have any dietary requirements or allergies, be very careful eating in the hotel as the food labelling is extremely poor. I found they would routinely put meats and fish in pasta and salad dishes but not list it as such.

Hotel is ok but little bit dated. I would say it is somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. It was not love for the 1st sight but I really felt in love day after day 😉. Its beachfront but be careful because island is so so so windy!!! Not breeze,I mean really strong wind 😉 thats why we did not use main pool at all,just small pool.. a little bit hidden from that wind. Staff is very very polite and friendly. Guests are 80% seniors from Germany,then NDL or Poland. Nice and quiet.

The hotel and the majority of the staff were amazing. Rooms and hotel lobby were spotless. The floors between rooms in the suite side of the hotel could do with having more attention with dust/hair collecting on the stairs. The pool also had debris in the bottom of it most days along with a large number of broken tiles around the outside. However the daytime snack bars were fantastic the food offered was very good along with the soft and hard drinks available. The buffet at meal times was better on the hotel side than the suite side in our opinion but the variety was huge and there was always food for everyone. Amenities were great probably the best hotel gym ive had access to but the equipment could do with being cleaned at some point. Night time entertainment was good and varied however the inside location is poor due to the pillars and no AC so it was always too hot. This was much improved when they started using the outdoor stage towards the end of the holiday. Location was good i only gave it 4 stars due to being missold the idea of there being a "beach" by their pictures and it was a rock pool. Ignoring that we rented a car and were very pleased to see that literally everywhere on the island was within 1hr of our hotel. Only other downside i can mention is there is no pharmacy on the site and its either a 40min walk or 5 min taxi to the nearest they did have 1 but demolished it for a royal level part of the hotel. I would recommend and/or visit again

Barcelo Active has done it again. My family holiday has been the best. Food was great always something so put a good plate of food together . Breakfast was good. Frest pastries every morning as well. Smoothies were lush. I stayed in a family suite this time. It was great, cleaned everyday. The plaza entertainment was good. Loved all 10 days. There's a bus stop outside €4.20 for 5 people to go puablo marina(the square). Carmen on reception was great once again and Sebastian the waiter is a good lad. Big shout to the cleaning maides they keep the hotel very clean. So Gracias Barcelo see you all soon. Xx

We recently stayed at Barceló Lanzarote Active Resort and overall had a really good holiday.
Positives:
- The location of the resort is brilliant — great access to everything and a lovely setting.
- The food was great with plenty of choice.
- The staff were very attentive and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.
- The gym was very good.
Areas for improvement:
- Our room needed some upkeep to match the high standard of the rest of the resort. The resort felt really good but then the room itself didn't match. Dirty, lots of stains, sockets hanging off the wall and missing lightbulbs.
- The WiFi didn’t work well in the bar or pool areas, which made it difficult to stay connected.
- The rooms could be cleaner at times and felt a bit basic compared to the rest of the site.
- We had no air‑con for the first week due to a fault. The team did send a temporary unit, which we appreciated, but being on the ground floor meant we would have had to leave the balcony door open for the vent. With three young children, that didn’t feel secure, so we chose not to use it. We understand this was out of their control, but it did affect our experience.
Overall, the resort itself is good and the staff work really hard. With a bit more attention to the rooms and facilities, it would easily be a five‑star stay.

Overall, a great experience.
The hotel is about 3 kilometers south of the town and there's a lovely coastal path to walk or jogg along.
It's a great location with seaviews and the ambience is relaxed and calming.
The rooms, gym, dining room and food met our expectations.
I've no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
We needed some help during our stay and it's best to speak directly with the guest experience team. They were superb.
The only reason this is a 4-star review is because the toilet facilities adjacent to the restaurant, specifically para los hombres, need to be renovated.

The best kids’ entertainment we could have hoped for!
Our two little girls have had wonderful mornings thanks to two of the nicest, kindest and most enthusiastic staff members, Sara and Cristina.
Every morning after breakfast, they couldn’t wait to head to the kids’ club, where they happily stayed until lunchtime (1:15 pm), enjoying a wide variety of fun activities. They loved it so much that they now both want to grow up and work there, just like Sara and Cristina!
Thank you both for all your hard work, energy and genuine care. You made our daughters feel incredibly special and gave them memories they’ll never forget.
We will definitely be back!

Overall, a wonderful experience, and I’d happily recommend this hotel. We had a great stay at the hotel and honestly don’t have much to complain about. The staff were friendly, the resort was clean and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing.
A special shout-out to the chef at the wok station his wok skills are 10/10! Not only was the food delicious, but it was also prepared with great speed and attention to detail. The drinks from the Sunset Bar are great too. It was one of the highlights of our stay.
Overall, a wonderful experience, and I’d happily recommend this hotel. Will come back for sure.

We had an amazing stay and would definitely come back!
The name “Tropical Resort” truly says it all. The entire hotel is beautifully maintained, with stunning tropical gardens, countless palm trees, and a fantastic atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help.
The à la carte restaurants were excellent, delicious food, great variety, and surprisingly good value. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge selection of different dishes to choose from! And don’t miss the Sunset Bar! The name says it all: breathtaking ocean views, unforgettable sunsets, and some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had.
The only small downside was the housekeeping. We requested fresh bed linen, but only the sheet was changed while the duvet cover and pillowcases remained the same. Used towels were occasionally folded and put back, sometimes still damp. We also experienced an unpleasant smell from the air conditioning. It was fixed once, but unfortunately returned after a couple of hours.
Overall, these were only minor issues during an otherwise fantastic stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tenerife

Fantastic hotel experience! Highly recommend booking a Preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View! The room was huge with a large relaxing balcony, big bathroom, and a gorgeous view. The room came with access to the sun beds and the executive lounge which made the whole trip more relaxing. The breakfast at the executive lounge was quiet, offered live music, and a full breakfast selection. The on-site restaurants were delicious. There was a beach club below our room and they played music almost non-stop but it was really enjoyable to hear and did not detract from being able to sleep. Great hotel location within walking distance to shops and amenities. And the hotel has a rental car desk in he lobby with rental cars on site so it was really easy to rent a car for one day to explore the island! All the hotel staff was really friendly and accommodating. Also highly recommend walking across the street to dine at Almar, incredibly delicious food, amazing service and sunset views!

Had a great time at Jardin. Excellent location with supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance, great view of the ocean, nice rooms, staff are friendly. There’s lots of choice for pool loungers and the pools weren’t too busy either which was great. We had originally booked at AluaSoul but were moved to this hotel after they’d overbooked or something so was a pleasant upgrade for the price we paid!
Room for improvement:
- wifi was shockingly bad, some areas of the hotel (like the pool) it doesn’t even connect despite having the 3 bars. In the hotel rooms it was very slow, unable to use FaceTime or YouTube/anything beyond basic browsing.
- the live band was nice but it played too late in my opinion - couldn’t sleep at 10-11pm (which isn’t that early) because the band was too loud.
- the scrambled eggs at breakfast were cold. Fried eggs and other items like bacon were fine temperature though
- the door to the balcony did not lock? The balcony’s were separated between the rooms but it still felt a bit off

Spent a week here in april 2026, and we absolutely LOVED it! Perfect location, wonderful and superfriendly staff, and the hotel itself was magical. Supercalm atmosphere. We had a junior suite since we were staying so long, and it was absolutely massive. The bed was enormous and the best bed I have ever slept in. We had asked for a quiet location because of our child, and we got a room towards the parking area, which suited us nicely (we could even see Teide from our balkong!). We couldnt here a thing in our room, even when there was live music in the bar.
The pool area is big, with one Maine pool and one baby pool. It thought the water was absolutely freezing and uncomfortable, but the rest of the family quite enjoyed it. Lots and lots of sun beds.
We had halfboard, with breakfast and dinner or lunch, unfortunaltly that was a waste of money. The big buffet had ALOT of different foods, but the allergen warnings were a big mess. Most of the time, you didnt know what belonged to which dish and many dishes didnt have any signs at all. Most of the food were also very boring, but the dessert selection was outstanding. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice, but the concern with allergy warnings were the same unfortunatly. We only ate at the Italian theme resturant, and it was not a good experience. The waiter was not very impressed with our order, it was very strange. The pizza was bland with too much tomato, the carbonara was good but tiny portion. We swapped dinner for lunch one day, and ate at the Barefoot grill. It was okay. Everywhere was clean, and the places with a set menu had good allergen markings.
We did hire a car and payed to park in the hotel parking lot. It cost 15 euro a day, but we thought it was worth it :)
Overall, lovely staff, magical hotel design and location. We will probably return to this hotel if we come back to this side of tenerife again, but with a sea view room and just breakfast.

I had the most amazing stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife this weekend with my friends for my bachelorette celebration.
The hotel is beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service throughout our stay was exceptional. Every member of staff we met was super friendly and attentive.
A very special thank you to Arantxa, who was absolutely incredible!! She made my stay and my bachelorette celebration even more special with her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care. She truly made us feel looked after, and her outstanding hospitality made a lasting impression.

Our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The hotel perfectly combines luxury, atmosphere, and impeccable service, creating a truly first-class experience in the south of Tenerife.
One of the standout highlights of our stay was the poolside bar service. The team works tirelessly throughout the day, always attentive, friendly, and professional. In particular, Mary deserves special recognition. Her service was impeccable — she ensured our drinks were refreshed all day long, always with a warm smile and genuine attentiveness. Nothing was ever too much trouble. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, which made our days by the pool effortless and relaxing.
The staff speak fluent English, which makes everything seamless for international guests, and their dedication and work ethic are clear to see. They are consistently attentive despite the busy atmosphere, and they truly are a credit to the establishment.
Beyond the service, the hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with fantastic pools, a vibrant atmosphere, and excellent facilities. The food and drink options are varied and high quality, and the overall standard throughout the resort is outstanding.
We left feeling genuinely looked after and already looking forward to returning. A well-deserved five stars.

We recently stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife and came away with mixed feelings. From the outside, it certainly looks like a 5-star resort, but once you start paying attention to the details, it doesn't live up to that standard.
The hotel appears to be suffering from a lack of maintenance. Many areas are showing signs of wear, from the roof and flooring to cracked or deteriorating joints. The gym was particularly disappointing, with rusty equipment and several machines that were either broken or clearly overdue for replacement.
Service was inconsistent throughout our stay. Housekeeping regularly forgot to replenish tea and coffee, and no one informed us on the first day that the canned water in the room was complimentary. It often felt like the hotel focuses on making a great first impression, but the quality behind the scenes doesn't match what you'd expect from a luxury hotel.
Many staff members looked exhausted and overwhelmed, which unfortunately affected the guest experience. Around the pool, the towel staff often seemed more interested in chatting with each other than serving guests, and they frequently forgot to return towel cards. Speaking of the towel cards, the whole system feels unnecessary. When you're on holiday, you shouldn't have to worry about keeping track of extra cards. The room-access wristbands were also disappointing—they felt cheap and uncomfortable. A simple soft plastic or silicone bracelet would have been far more comfortable.
That said, there were some highlights that deserve recognition. Yvan was exceptional—always smiling, welcoming, energetic, and genuinely happy to help. He made us feel valued every time we interacted with him. The Montauk Steakhouse was excellent, with delicious food and attentive staff who were always available and professional.
The standout experience, however, was the spa. The treatments, facilities, and overall level of service there truly reflected what a 5-star hotel should offer. It was by far the best part of our stay.
Overall, the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife has the potential to be a fantastic resort, but it needs significantly better maintenance, more consistent service, and greater attention to detail before it can genuinely justify its 5-star rating.

We had a fantastic 10-night stay at Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife and couldn't have asked for a better holiday. The hotel is modern, spotless, and has an amazing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The pools are excellent, there are always plenty of sunbeds, and the entertainment throughout the day and evening kept the resort lively without feeling overcrowded.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and cleaned to a very high standard every day. The all-inclusive package was excellent, with a great selection of food and drinks, and every member of staff we met was friendly, professional, and always willing to help.
One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the Steakhouse.
The food was outstanding, with perfectly cooked steaks and a great atmosphere. We would especially like to thank our waitress, Valentina M. Dachi, who made our evening unforgettable. She was warm, attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her excellent service really stood out and is a credit to both the restaurant and the hotel.
Overall, Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife exceeded our expectations. We made some amazing memories and wouldn't hesitate to return.
Highly recommended for couples looking for a fun, relaxing holiday with fantastic service, food, and entertainment. 5 stars!

My Family and I arrived on mid July and we felt very welcome by the reception staff. Asim was the person that attended us and because I had a birthday during this stay, my family received a complementary stay at their infinity pool for Grand Members. Another point were we spend a lot of out time was at the splash cove pool. My son loved the slides which are very safe for kids to slide alone ( given the proper age). The service provided from the Splash Bar was exceptional. The bartender Jaida, provided a great service and made me and my family feel at home with her service and friendliness.
Jose (Lifeguard) and the Chef during the breakfast time were also very hospitalible and helpful.
There were plenty of activities to do for adults and children as well. The adventure club animation team were also pretty good and friendly.
Overall it was a great time to spend at this resort for the first time that my family and I were there. I would definitaly recommend this hotel for families looking to stay

After just two days at the Grand Hyatt Lanzarote, I can honestly say this hotel has exceeded all of our expectations.
The hotel itself is beautiful, immaculately maintained and in a perfect location. Our room is spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped, with robes, a fully stocked minibar that’s replenished daily, and everything you need for a relaxing stay.
The service has been exceptional from every member of staff, but a special mention has to go to Victoria at the pool bar and Ahmed in the sports bar. They are both absolute stars – so friendly, attentive and genuinely keen to make sure every guest has a wonderful experience. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
The food has been excellent throughout our stay so far, with plenty of choice and fantastic quality, and the drinks are equally impressive. Little touches like the readily available pool towels really add to the overall experience.
We’re only halfway through our holiday, but we’ve already said we’ll definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at the Grand Hyatt Lanzarote for making our stay so memorable.

We recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, our experience did not meet the expectations of a 5-star property.
While some members of the staff were kind and professional, others were less welcoming, so the level of service was inconsistent. I would, however, like to mention that the Adventure Club was excellent. My son had a wonderful time, and the team there did a fantastic job.
However, there were several disappointing aspects of our stay.
First of all, the hotel promotes itself as pet-friendly, but this was far from our experience. There were no dedicated areas for dogs, and I never received the dog treats that were supposedly included. The information provided by different staff members was often inconsistent and confusing. We were told that our dog could only access certain areas if kept inside a pet carrier, yet the carrier that should have been provided was never given to us. Paying €53 per night for a dog that essentially had to remain in the room all day is simply unreasonable.
We also agreed on a specific housekeeping time at check-in, since our dog needed to be out of the room while it was being cleaned. Unfortunately, this arrangement was never respected. Every morning I had to wait, and eventually I had to look for housekeeping staff myself to ask them to clean the room. The agreed schedule turned out to be completely pointless.
The food quality was average at best and, in many cases, below average for a hotel of this category.
Another serious issue occurred in one of the restaurants. I ordered salmon, but without informing me, it was replaced with a different type of fish, most likely tuna. As someone with food allergies, I find this extremely concerning and potentially dangerous. No restaurant should ever substitute a dish without informing the guest.
The entertainment program was also very limited and lacked the level of activities one would expect from a luxury resort.
The only aspect that truly felt 5-star was the beautiful public beach located directly in front of the hotel. However, this is not part of the hotel itself. Unfortunately, the property and its services do not compare to other 5-star hotels where I have stayed. Based on my experience, I believe this hotel offers a 3- to 4-star experience rather than the 5-star standard it advertises.
Unfortunately, although there were some positive aspects (especially the Adventure Club) the overall experience did not justify the price we paid. The quality simply does not match the rates charged. I would not return and would not recommend this hotel, as I do not believe it offers good value for money.

Our recent stay at Dreams Lanzarote Resort was nothing short of exceptional, especially considering we were a group of 17 people, all with vegetarian and vegan dietary requirements. From the moment we arrived, the hotel went above and beyond to ensure every single guest was catered for individually.
What truly stood out was the level of care taken with our meals. A bespoke menu was created daily, tailored to each person’s specific dietary needs. It’s rare to see such attention to detail on this scale, and every member of our group felt genuinely looked after. The variety, quality, and thoughtfulness of the food made a huge difference to our experience.
Beyond dining, the resort itself is fantastic. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are clean, modern, and well-equipped, and everything is maintained to a very high standard. The nearby beach was another highlight—exceptionally clean, with soft sand, minimal stones, and no seaweed in the water. The availability of free sunbeds and umbrellas made it even more enjoyable.
The guest relations team were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always responsive and accommodating. A special thank you goes to Cesar from guest relations for his outstanding support with food planning and recommendations, Laura at Himitsu restaurant, and Beatriz at the buffet. Their warmth, sense of humour, attention to detail, and willingness to help made our stay even more memorable.
We would highly recommend Dreams Lanzarote Resort to anyone, especially groups with specific dietary needs. The level of service and care we experienced was truly outstanding.

The Grand Hyatt Lanzarote Playa Dorada is a beautiful, clean hotel in a fantastic location. It's just a short, easy walk to the harbour, restaurants and local shops, which made exploring Playa Blanca really convenient.
The rooms were comfortable and the hotel itself is immaculately maintained. The menus also sounded imaginative and exciting, but unfortunately the food often didn't live up to the descriptions. The presentation and flavours were quite underwhelming.
The biggest disappointment was the service. Throughout our entire stay, there wasn't a single member of staff walking around the pool taking drinks orders. I don't expect constant waiter service, but having someone come around every hour or so would make a huge difference. Instead, every drink meant getting up, walking to the bar and joining the queue, which became frustrating when you're supposed to be relaxing on holiday.
We also found the staff to be less friendly and attentive than we'd expect from a five-star Grand Hyatt. The level of service simply didn't match the standard the hotel promotes.
As all-inclusive guests, it was also disappointing that we couldn't have lunch in the à la carte restaurant until 3pm, while Grand Club guests could dine from 12pm and enjoy a range of additional benefits and exclusive areas. It left us feeling that the hotel is very much geared towards Club Access guests, with standard all-inclusive guests feeling like an afterthought.
Overall, it's a lovely hotel in a brilliant location, but the service and all-inclusive experience didn't justify the premium price. With more attentive staff and simple touches like occasional poolside drinks service for all guests, this could easily have been a five-star experience.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel! The food was delicious with a huge variety, so there was always something for everyone. The gym is well-equipped, the pool is beautiful and very enjoyable, and the entertainment team creates a great atmosphere every day.
A special thanks to Matthias, the animator, who was incredibly friendly, energetic, and made the activities so much fun. He really helped make our stay even more memorable. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Very pleasant stay. The evening buffet restaurant was a little disappointing (my fault for not fully investigating options pre-booking), and it’s a shame that the excellent Breeze restaurant doesn’t open at night. Champs Sports Bar was good fun, especially during World Cup games - the service in there from Alba and her colleagues is exceptional. Matias also provided fun times by the pool, he did his bit to encourage a real sense of community amongst guests. Oh, and for any UK visitors looking for a game of padel, the nearby TocaPadel24 is a must - Doug & co are such a friendly and welcoming group.

A fantastic hotel resort. Relaxing grounds and beautiful rooms. The food served at the breakfast and dinner buffet is great. But the Breeze bar lunch menu is amazing, excellently prepared by the open kitchen chefs and served by the wonderful front of house team. Our stay at Barceló Teguise Beach – Adults Only was everything we hoped for and more. We booked this trip as a relaxing getaway to unwind and enjoy some fine dining, and it truly delivered.
The weather was beautiful throughout our stay, and our room was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly positioned facing the pool. The pools themselves were warm, clean, and ideal for relaxing. The food was consistently fresh and delicious every day, and the breakfasts in particular were outstanding.
What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and looked after with genuine care. A special thank you to Gemma from the management team, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay and that all our needs were met.
We were also celebrating my partner’s birthday during the trip, and the effort the team put into making it special created a beautiful, memorable experience for her. She was genuinely overwhelmed by the kindness shown.
We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Loved it here. Firstly, the staff. Every one of them were helpful, warm, smiley and nothing was too much trouble. The bar staff in champs and B lounge were brilliant so big shout out to them. The hotel is lovely, food is great - loads of choice and well cooked. Plenty of sunbeds and glorious pool which is not cold! You are a 2 minute walk from the main square and the value for money in costa teguise for food and drinks is really good. I'm already looking to book Teguise Beach for later in the year. Also, though I do love them, not to have screaming kids running round the place was so good! 🤣 Just go, you'll love it!

Stayed at this hotel for a week in March. Booked a swim up pool on the ground floor which was nice and spacious, bit odd having the shower and sink area open plan especially in a ground floor room as people walking by can get an eyeful if you forget to close the curtains! The swim up was absolutely freezing unfortunately and the room position meant the pool and terrace was shaded in the afternoon. This hotel is huge intact it's too big because there just aren't enough staff to offer good service. Housekeeping often didn't come until after 3pm when we quite like to go back to the room to chill out. Waiter service in the buffet is non existent if you are half board. Two evenings out of seven we could not get drinks with our meal because no one was available to serve!! If you are all inclusive you can help yourself but the drinks such as coke and beer are on draft and not great, when I did manage to get a coke one evening it was flat! It's such a shame that the service is obviously not a key consideration for this hotel because if it was improved the hotel could be great. Food in the buffet was ok most items were warm/hot just a few things like scrambled egg and baked beans were cold. Deserts were actually really good lots of choice and some tiny offerings so you don't completely blow the diet. Location is fab right on the marina with walks to the left and right of the hotel and bars and supermarkets who are more enthusiastic to serve drinks than the hotel waiters. Wouldn't return there are much better hotels in the Canaries.

This is a brilliant hotel the minute you walk in the front glass doors the hotel has the wow factor. Stunning entrance and big glass view of fuerteventura. The hotel is super clean and has everything you need for an amazing holiday. The hotel rooms are very nice and spacious. If your a couple the shower in the middle of the room isn't an issue but if you are stopping with family it's not private at all. The pools are massive one is heated one is not and freezing but for me was refreshing when it was boiling. The hotel sits right on the Rubicon marina and underneath the hotel by the sea is an Indian restaurant a Chinese an Italian, Spanish you name it. So if so get bored of the all inclusive you can have a wonder have some nice food. 2 course Indian and a beer each though will set you back about 85 to 100 euros. The stage is impressive for the entertainment and have some not bad acts on. I would highly recommend doing the buggy volcano excursion and the submarine tour. Both around 60-90 pound per person. Always room on the sun beds they have trolleys tables etc. would definitely go again.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay, particularly as a family managing severe food allergies.
I have a severe nut allergy, and my son has multiple serious food allergies. We chose this hotel expecting it would be able to cater safely for guests with allergies, but unfortunately our experience was very poor.
The allergy-friendly options were incredibly limited. Every day my son was offered virtually the same meal – plain chicken with either chips or potatoes and some very overcooked vegetables. There was very little variety, and it quickly became repetitive. For me, there were no suitable pastries or desserts available throughout our stay, and no real alternatives were offered.
Most concerningly, my son suffered an allergic reaction during our holiday. While I appreciate that managing allergies can be complex, it left us feeling very anxious and not at all confident in the hotel’s ability to cater safely for guests with serious dietary requirements.
Aside from the allergy issues, there were other disappointing aspects of the hotel. The swimming pools were far too cold, especially considering we visited at the end of July. It made them uncomfortable to use, even during the hottest part of the day. The gym also has no air conditioning, making it extremely hot and unpleasant to work out in.
Overall, if you or your children have food allergies, I would not recommend this hotel. The lack of suitable food, limited choice, and our experience during the holiday meant it was far from the relaxing break we had hoped for. I expected a much higher standard of care and catering from a hotel of this calibre.

The hotel is equivalent to a small cruise ship, permanently facing west and offering, on clear days, views of Fuerteventura in the distance. The sunlit pool area is without shade, but a few sun umbrellas, which is a notable advantage. Wind conditions vary seasonally; we visited in April. The rooms are modern and well-kept, some with a small grass area in front where guests can relax and sunbathe with pool towels, enhancing the outdoor experience. The resort features also an adults-only section, which would be our preferred choice for future visits. We chose the half-board plan, as three full meals a day can be excessive. The breakfast buffet is extensive, with various egg dishes, pork sausages, and black pudding, catering to UK tastes. A salad bar offers healthy options. Fruit juices come from a carton rather than fresh, which is disappointing. Dinner varies each night and includes healthy options; combined with a small open-air gym with stunning views, it makes for a healthy and active stay. The front desk staff are courteous and helpful; when we requested a room change due to noise from neighbouring rooms with a baby, they understood and assisted us, relocating us to a quieter area. The hotel is situated a few hundred meters near a free-access beach. The hotel is located in an upscale area with nearby shopping and restaurants within walking distance, making it convenient for exploring local amenities.

We had a fantastic stay at Secrets Resort & Spa Lanzarote. The resort is beautiful, spotless, and has such a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was lovely, comfortable, and cleaned to an excellent standard every day, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The food and drinks were great, with plenty of choice at the buffet and a different theme each night, which kept the dining experience varied and enjoyable.
Activities could be booked easily through the Hyatt Inclusive Collection app, making it simple to plan and make the most of our stay. The evening cocktail demonstrations were a real highlight for us and became something we looked forward to each night. They were great fun and a fantastic addition to the evening entertainment.
A special mention to the resort’s resident cats, who added so much charm and made our holiday even more memorable. It was great to see them being so well cared for, and they truly added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the resort. They were such a wonderful part of our experience and may just have been the extra special touch that makes us want to return again in the future!

I’d definitely give this hotel 5 stars! We had an amazing stay at Secrets Lanzarote. The entertainment and activities were brilliant and at no added cost to your stay. This meant there was plenty to do throughout the day and evening they held beautiful live preferences which was so lovely to watch. The spa was incredible and one of the highlights of the trip – such a relaxing and unique experience and they offered us a free voucher for one day which was just so kind and generous.
The hotel has three different pools, so there was always somewhere to unwind, and it was great that they showed football in the halftime bar as the World Cup is going on! What really made the stay special, though, was the service. Every member of staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and valued. You genuinely feel special here, and it’s obvious that they really care about their guests.
The only downside for me was the food selection for vegetarians, which could definitely be improved. There weren’t as many exciting options as I’d hoped for. However, this wasn’t enough to take away from what was otherwise a fantastic holiday as the marina was only a 10 minute walk with amazing food choices and they also hold a Friday market in the morning every week which had such beautiful dresses and creative trinkets.
Overall, a wonderful hotel with outstanding service, great facilities, and a fantastic atmosphere. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lanzarote and it’s only a 15 minute drive from the airport. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely fabulous. Our 3rd visit and highly recommend if you want undisturbed luxury. From reception on check in, housekeeping towels etc changed every day, mini bar topped up daily. As soon as you arrive, you're greeted by smiles from the reception staff, particularly Veronica. The Guest Experience Team are phenomenal, especially Carla who seems to be omnipresent 😂😍. If there are any issues, Carla and the rest of the team and staff will do their best to help.
It was our third visit at the end of April 2026 and we are already booked to return later this year. There was some work going on to the grill restaurant, but it didn't impact our holiday greatly, as most of the noisy work was finished.
Rooms are fabulous, shower superb, sunbeds are cushioned unlike some hotels and the food selection is very good.
We love the fact that you don't have to book sunbeds or restaurants, it makes for a much more relaxing holiday! Never a problem finding a sunbed!

This was our sixth visit to the resort and yet again, it exceeded our expectations!
We booked preferred swim-up suite all inclusive and it was perfection yet again. Super comfy beds, amazing power shower, spacious and luxurious with a perfect view of the sea.
The guest experience team were fantastic from pre-arrival to departure. Our suite was exactly as requested as a mother & daughter both wanting our own space and the attention to detail was outstanding with a bed in the lounge for my daughter. A massive thank you to the team with a particular shout out to Carla & Valentine. Laura, yet again, was just amazing though and we cannot thank her enough for making our stay so perfect! She really cares and does everything with such passion. A true ambassador for Secrets ❤️

My mum and I stayed at the Royal Hideaway Santa Catalina to celebrate her 50th birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable city break.
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the hotel’s stunning architecture and timeless elegance. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with luxurious facilities, gorgeous pools, a fantastic spa - we had one very relaxing massage. The gardens and grounds are simply breathtaking—so beautifully maintained that wandering around them became an activity in itself. Every corner felt peaceful and picturesque, making it a joy to explore and soak up the atmosphere.
The location was perfect too—close enough to explore everything Las Palmas has to offer, including Las Canteras Beach, the charming streets of Vegueta Old Town, and so many wonderful restaurants, while still feeling like a peaceful oasis to return to.
One of the highlights of our trip was dining at the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant. It was an incredible culinary experience from start to finish and made the celebration even more memorable.
What really made our stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding service. Every member of staff was warm, welcoming, and professional, but we would especially like to say a huge thank you to Julia - (and a lovely lady I think called Sonia.) Julia went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect and helped me organise multiple surprises for my mum’s 50th birthday, making the occasion even more special than I could have imagined. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care made such a difference, and she is a real credit to the hotel. Thank you, Julia, for creating memories that we will remember for a long time!
We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate such a special milestone. Royal Hideaway Santa Catalina exceeded all of our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, memorable stay in Las Palmas. We can’t wait to return.

A very service oriented luxury hotel with old world grandeur, great breakfast, very impressive dedicated service but with some issues.
This is definitely a hotel oozing with style and grandeur reminiscent of old world luxury, both the common areas as well as the rooms. It's not for everyone but that's a matter of taste.
The location is somewhere between the cathedral and old town and the playa the las Canteras, a bit of a hike from both of them so not ideal.
My first room was a junior suite which was indeed very large, quite fancy and with a balcony overlooking the main entrance, while the balcony was a nice touch, sound proofing was a major problem and the room was simply too noisy for me during the entire evening and night from the bar downstairs and from the coming and going in the entrance area. I mentioned that the following day in a "how is your stay" automatic email which I got from them and usually ignore, and a few hours later they called me and suggested to switch my room to another one even though the hotel was quite full. They moved me to a slightly smaller room with no balcony but facing the gardens at the back of the hotel and that was blissfully silent during the night - so impressive service from the side of the guest experience team but also choose your room wisely if you are sensitive to noise.
They have a large wellness area which I did not go to but the gym next to it is almost a professional level gym so a pleasure, the pool is not large and probably can get very busy but the weather was gray and unhappy during my stay so I had it to myself to swim in . there is a municipal semi-olympic swimming pool right next to the hotel (5 minutes walk) and you can get an hourly swimming pass between 0800-1600 (I think only on week days but not sure) for less than 10 euros if swimming is important.
Breakfast was really very good and abundant. there are a few very fancy restaurants in the hotel, I ate dinner in the least fancy one (1890 La bodegita) and it was very good.
As July is not the high season in Las Palmas prices were reasonable for the level of service and quality of accommodation.
All in all, this is a place worthy of its name. there were some issues but they handled them very efficiently and with real willingness to solve them and that is always important.

Santa Catalina Hotel is undeniably a historic architectural landmark, but as a hotel experience it fell well below expectations. On arrival, the service felt cold and somewhat pretentious rather than welcoming.
A key reason for choosing the hotel was the prominently advertised rooftop pool and views, only to discover after check-in that access is restricted to suite guests. The spa is similarly limited unless you pay €15 per person for 90 minutes, which felt too rushed to unwind and relax. These restrictions are not clearly communicated at booking and leave a sense of being misled.
Several of the lounge and communal areas were also frequently reserved for corporate events and seminars, which further diminished the sense of a relaxed hotel environment. As a guest, it often felt as though you were secondary to business groups and functions moving through the space, even in more personal hotel moments such as walking through pool access corridors in a robe.
In-room entertainment is very dated, with a non–smart TV offering only basic local and satellite channels. Room service carries a €5 delivery surcharge, while on-site dining is largely limited to high-end fine dining with little casual alternative.
It is also worth noting that Las Palmas sits under a noticeably less favourable microclimate than the south and west of Gran Canaria. During our stay, conditions were consistently cloudy, windy, and cool, which further limited the enjoyment of the hotel’s already restricted amenities. For those seeking reliable sun and beach weather, the southern or western parts of the island are a better choice.
The atmosphere and clientele also skew noticeably toward an older demographic.

We felt very comfortable in the hotel. The rooms were very clean, styles and modern. The beds were extremely good to sleep in. We especially liked the spacious bathroom and the great shower with different options. The service and staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The venue is very romantic and stylefully arranged.
The breakfast buffet was extraordinary, very fresh and very good quality with a huge choice of different dishes. We are very happy to come back at any time.

Absolutely flawless 5* experience. This hotel is stunning. A masterpiece in colonial architecture and decor.
It somehow has such a peaceful and tranquil feeling despite being in the middle of the city. You relax at the pool whilst parrots fly above your head.
The gardens, spa, pool and rooms were immaculately maintained. The spa was easy to book and very reasonably priced. All facilities in the spa worked perfectly. The sauna was nice
Breakfast was one of the best 5* breakfasts I have had. The cocktails at the bar were too notch. The service was also fantastic, especially Sara on the reception who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.
Hopefully we will be back!

Unforgettable stay!
The breakfast was great with plenty of choice. There was truly something for everyone.
Housekeeping stopped by up to three times a day, even for a lovely turn-down service in the evening. Our housekeeper was so sweet and kept leaving chocolates for us. A special thank you to Alba! ❤️
Getting around was easy; a taxi to Corralejo cost about €5. There were always plenty of sunbeds available by the pool, and the view from our sea-view room was absolutely stunning!

My wife and I have just got back from a 4 night stay here. Its exceeded our expectations. The service from all of the staff was first class. We hardly even stepped out of our taxi and were greeting by David who had 2 glasses of sparkling wine waiting for us on arrival. We were even checked in to our room hours earlier than we should have been which was a big bonus. We had a small issue with noise in our room due to some kind of fan that backed on to the wall. The second I brought the issue up with the staff we were quickly moved rooms. The staff here honestly cannot do enough for you. Regarding getting around, I wouldn't really class this as being "out of the way" like some of the reviews point out. Its literally less than 5 minutes in a taxt to the local town and shipping mall. I noticed 1 review claiming the hotel is tired and in need of updating, which i honestly couldn't disagree with any more. The hotel is spotless and in my opinion luxurious. The entertainment in the evening is excellent. We particularly likes the Spanish band as did all the other guests who were scalping along to the music. We would 100% stay in this hotel again and would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious hotel stay.

My partner and I stayed here for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade to a sea-view room, which was lovely. A kind gentleman helped with our luggage and guided us to our room, which was especially appreciated given how large the hotel is.
The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and very comfortable, we really couldn’t fault it. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as fresh towels and bedsheets each morning, and the curtains being drawn with chocolates left on our pillows each evening.
We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and were spoiled for choice every morning. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and breakfast quickly became something we genuinely looked forward to each day.
We also dined at the hotel on two occasions. Once at the Japanese restaurant and once at the Mediterranean buffet. Both experiences were very enjoyable, with delicious food and exceptional service from the staff.
We were looking for a relaxing break, and that’s exactly what we got. The pool area was beautiful, and we never had any trouble finding sunbeds each day. We also visited the spa once and only wished we had made more use of it during our stay.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience. Every member of staff we encountered was welcoming, friendly, and helped make our stay feel special.
If we’re looking for another relaxing holiday in the future, we would certainly consider returning.

I returned from a 4 night stay in Secrets recently and would highly recommend staying there. From the start we were greeted with a glass of cava (perfect after a 4am wake up to get the flight!). Check in very friendly and smooth as was the check out. The hotel is in very good conditions and the room we stayed in (Ocean View suite) was excellent. A lot of space and all the necessary modcoms. Bathroom also very well equipped. It is slightly away from the main town but a pleasant 15/20 min walk or a quick taxi. The pool area is also good size and peaceful. I only ate in the hotel once, the food was ok. It seems there are also plenty of options for dinner there as well as a number of bars + entertainment. Also a very good gym and spa which we were able to use once we had checked out which was a nice way to wrap up the holiday before heading to the airport. A great choice for couples looking for a getaway in a very high quality hotel with great service. I would definitely come back. Thanks to the team for making it a great stay.

The hotel is a beautiful five-star property, thoughtfully designed and built to a very high standard. Everything in the rooms serves a purpose and has clearly been planned with both comfort and functionality in mind. The marble floors, walls, and ceilings create a luxurious feel, while the marble bathrooms are spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully designed. There was even a shower chair beside the bath, showing attention to accessibility and guest comfort.
The gym, spa, and swimming pools are all excellent and very well maintained. The hotel also has its own beach with comfortable loungers featuring privacy shields, which was a lovely touch. However, the beach itself is extremely rocky, making it difficult to enter the sea or swim. During our 10-day stay, I didn’t see anyone swimming there. The hotel has built wooden decking leading further across the rocks with steps into the sea if you really want to swim, but we preferred visiting Playa Grande instead. It’s a beautiful beach, although often windy, and is only a 30-minute walk along a pleasant paved path or a 5-minute taxi ride costing around €6–8.
The service throughout the hotel—from reception to the housekeeping staff—was genuinely five-star. Everyone was polite, helpful, and professional. We’d also like to thank the lady on reception who recommended upgrading to a sea-view room. We absolutely loved the view, and it made our stay even more special.
Unfortunately, the restaurants were a major disappointment. We are a young couple and generally very easy-going guests who don’t require much, so it takes quite a lot for us to leave negative feedback. However, I would not recommend eating at any of the hotel’s restaurants. I have never experienced such poor service in relatively expensive restaurants. The staff were consistently rude, passive-aggressive, and inattentive. The food itself was below average, and at no point did anyone ask how our meal was. On one occasion, I returned an entire untouched plate because I was unhappy with it, yet nobody asked whether there had been a problem. We visited all three restaurants, and the food and service were consistently disappointing.
We also had multiple negative experiences with one of the breakfast staff members, whose name I believe was Dipish. Throughout our stay, he was never friendly, welcoming, or polite towards us, and every interaction left us feeling like we were an inconvenience. Breakfast is served until 11:00, and we usually arrived around 10:15–10:30. On one morning, at around 10:45, he attempted to take my breakfast plate away while I was still eating, with my hands still on the plate. He never asked whether I had finished eating before trying to remove it. On another occasion, we were looking for a table outside, but none of the available tables had been set. Instead of greeting us or speaking to us, he simply gestured with his hands for us to follow him. When he realised there wasn’t a table for two prepared, despite there being around ten empty unset tables, we asked whether we could sit at an already-set table for four. He pulled a face, refused, and insisted on setting a table for two instead, leaving us standing with our breakfast plates while we waited. These were not isolated incidents, and after several unpleasant interactions with him, we chose to eat inside every morning instead.
The atmosphere in the indoor dining area was much more welcoming. In particular, the middle-aged gentleman working there was consistently kind, friendly, and attentive, and he made our breakfasts much more enjoyable.
Overall, these experiences left a disappointing impression and made us feel unwelcome in the restaurants, which is a real shame because we genuinely loved everything else about the hotel. The facilities, rooms, cleanliness, and the majority of the staff were outstanding. With better restaurant management and improved customer service in the dining areas, this hotel would easily deserve top marks.

I usually never leave reviews, but this hotel truly deserves one. It is exceptional.
Travelling with my 3-year-old child, I had many questions and different situations during our stay. The hotel staff handled everything very quickly and efficiently, and we were extremely satisfied with the service.
Monica and Cécilia at the Kids Club were wonderful at entertaining the children. Petra and all the ladies at the Reception were very professional, helpful, and always attentive. Thank you very much for making our stay so pleasant.
Just one small note: it would be great if the Kids Club could stay open until 6 p.m., as many younger children cannot fully enjoy it after their nap time.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a great stay with you. Everything was just perfect. The hotel is in a gorgeous location with breathtaking views. A short walk up a hill from the beach so be prepared for this. Although it’s a fairly steep hill the views are well worth it, and it’s good to get some extra steps in after all those holiday beers!
The hotel is extremely well kept and spotlessly clean. Beautiful rooms, well equipped with everything you need. The hotel feels so spacious in comparison to your average hotel. We also took the room with the hot tub which was very cool! The food and drinks were also great but the best thing about this place is truly the staff, they are all absolutely incredible. This is what makes a holiday extra special! The staff really go out of their way to ensure impeccable service.
We were travelling as a family of 3, 2 adults & 1 toddler. Our daughter is blind so requires some additional attention. The staff at this hotel treated her with such kindness it meant the world to us. Thank you so much for the beautiful message and handmade book left in our room.
The hotel is so welcoming for families but also has many quiet spots for relaxing! Another lovely touch is the baby products in the room, Cot with bedding, baby bath and washing products. I have never seen this before so was very impressed by it.

The best hotel in costa adeje in my opinion. It's a boutique luxury hotel. Quiet, calm and serene. Not flashy. Everything is extremely clean and fresh. Service is top notch. From repceptionists, waiters to cleaning ladies. Friendly on top of that. Rooms were the biggest I've seen in the canary islands. Very spacious and with great views. Gardens and pools are gorgeous and inviting. Breakfast buffet is nice, it simply could have maybe bircher muesli and pinneaple (wink). I don't think I'll be staying elsewhere when I am back in Tenerife south. This is the place. 5 stars ⭐️

We have returned after 3 years and feel exactly as we did valued and respected this will continue to be our favourite hotel for many years to come.
Even after experiencing issues with our room this time they were dealt with speedily (within the hour) and without any problem. We cannot fault them.

The room we had was gorgeous, big balcony and the shower in the bathroom one of the best I've had (this is an important criteria in my holiday people 🤣🤣)
Everywhere is clean and fresh with beautiful, well tended gardens all around. The pool is delightful, be brave and give the cold water fresh one a go, it was wonderful after the first sharp intake of breath!
Breakfast was brilliant, something for everyone and again, service excellent.
The poolside restaurant was also fab. We had lunch daily and dinner twice as it was SO good as well and the team looking after us. Always a smile and a joke and great recommendations for wine which wasn't expensive.
My only constructive comment would be the a la carte fine dining restaurant.. we arrived on Saturday evening and it just had no atmosphere. (Sorry) The menu for a vegetarian should have been ordered 24 hours before which just seemed unusual to us. We didn't stay but lucky us, found the other restaurant instead with the freshest of ingredients and wonderful service.
The cocktail bar team were also excellent, patient with our decision making and laughing at our hilarity throughout many card games.
Thank you to every single team member for making our stay in U110 so wonderful and especially to the young lady who kept our room so clean for us, we loved coming back after a day poolside.

The location is perfect, right on the beachfront promenade in Costa Adeje, with easy access to restaurants and shops, yet still quiet and exclusive.
Breakfast and dining options are of very high quality, and the overall experience feels refined without being overwhelming.
A perfect choice for couples or anyone looking for a relaxing, high-end stay in Tenerife. I would definitely return .

Jardines de Nivaria pleasantly surprised us in nearly every way. We were luckier than expected with a part-sea view from our room, enough to remind you you’re by the ocean, even though it wasn’t a full panoramic vista.
Breakfast was a highlight: the buffet was plentiful, fresh, and delicious, with plenty of variety and the sort of quality that sets a positive tone for the day. The staff were extremely accommodating throughout - helpful, attentive, and always polite. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning: it blends modern comforts with classic touches you might expect of upscale American-style hotels, but with Canarian warmth, lush gardens, art deco influences, and beautiful architectural details (including a striking stained-glass dome over the reception).
Location is excellent: just 15 minutes from the airport, direct access to Playa de Fañabé, and well-placed for exploring Costa Adeje.
One personal recommendation: if you want something more authentic and less packed with tourists, Playa del Duque is a better pick than Playa de Fañabé. You’ll get a more relaxed atmosphere, fewer crowds, and still beautiful beaches (and less Full English Breakfast/Indian/Chinese takeaway food restaurants for the British crowds)
The pool is fantastic and coming during low season was perfect as it wasn’t too crowded and waiting staff were frequently popping over.
Overall verdict: Jardines de Nivaria offers a luxurious, relaxing stay - great for couples or travellers looking for comfort, quality breakfasts, attractive surroundings, and excellent service. It delivers strong value, especially if you pick your room and dining options with care.

Second time here and would highly recommend. Everybody service oriented and friendly. Room maid did an excellent job. Fair prices in pool bar. Breakfast was top notch. Location can’t be better. Pool heated and very clean. Plenty sunbeds, no stressful reservation, and good water pressure and lots of hot water in shower. Wifi was good everywhere. If I could advice on improvements though; the bed was huge but a bit hard, the pillows should be down/more fluffy/comfy, and I missed having a decent duvet in January. Then it would be 100% perfect!

I don’t even know where to start. Our time there was magnificent. From the moment we stepped foot inside the hotel lobby to check in, we felt completely at ease and we knew our vacation was about to be great. Not only the hotel is stunning, but the people in it make you feel truly appreciated. The service was impeccable, from the room service to the guy at the pool serving us drinks (honourable mention to our guy Giovanni). Truly, we couldn’t be happier. The customer service has been exceptional. Every single member of the team has been warm, welcoming and helpful. They made such a thoughtful effort to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which was incredibly appreciated.
The hotel grounds are beautiful, the communal areas and our room are immaculately clean. The breakfast and dinner included with our package have been delicious every day—so much variety, all prepared and cooked to perfection.
There is something for everyone here: sports bar, chill out areas, pool with music, family pools and quieter adult areas, we’ve never struggled to find a sun lounger. The evening entertainment has been fantastic too - the live singers are top notch, we love hearing their voices drifting through our open balcony doors as the sun goes down.
The location is perfect - La Caleta is a very pretty part of the island, there are shops and a small mall just a short walk away, and we have beautiful sea views from both our balcony and even from our bed. There’s also a good gym, padel courts (with great quality coaching sessions available - a nod to Alan!), an extensive spa, and two fabulous restaurants, Seen and Yakuza. It really does have everything.
One piece of advice, though: after a nightmare experience with Love Holidays, who completely ripped us off on a room upgrade, I’d strongly recommend booking directly with the hotel.
We certainly will next time!

We had an amazing stay at Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, stylish, and impeccably clean. Every area is maintained to the highest standard. The adults-only area was one of our favourite parts of the resort – peaceful, elegant, and the perfect place to relax by the pool.
The staff were warm, professional, and always went the extra mile to make our stay special. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a huge variety of fresh and delicious options, and the overall atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and luxurious.
The location is excellent, right by the seafront promenade and within walking distance of great restaurants in La Caleta.
This is easily one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We will definitely be back!

A truly unforgettable stay
This is our first time in Tenerife, and although we are only halfway through our holiday, we can already say that this has become one of the best holidays we have ever had.
We are extremely happy that we chose Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort. During our walks along the coast, we often say to each other that this is the most beautiful hotel in the area — and we genuinely mean it.
Everything has been excellent: the service, the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, and the outstanding cleanliness throughout the hotel, not only in our room but also around the entire resort. The team is always friendly, attentive, and ready to help.
We would also like to give special thanks to Zsuzsa, Gabriel, and Fanni for their warm and personal welcome message, which was a very touching surprise and meant a lot to us.

A true 5 star hotel. We had the most dreamy, relaxing holiday with our two children. Couldn't fault anything- fantastic food, immaculate rooms and facilities, lovely pool. Sun loungers were plentiful and it was very easy to pop to nearby shops, restaurants, etc. But what stood out the most was the service. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We felt very cared for and valued. We will definitely be back!

Such a lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean and warm and bright. Staff were magnificent - so kind and patient. I found my mattress too hard and they arranged to put a very effective topper on it immediately. Food was always great with great variety. Fish in particular was absolutely delicious here. Also water and sparkling water are provided throughout the hotel completely free if charge - I was very impressed with this lovely gesture. Night time entertainment was good- there's a young and enthusiastic animation team. Full marks to them 🥇

We have been at this hotel for over a week now and it has been wonderful. Firstly a shout out to several members of staff. Alondra on Reception was especially friendly, helpful, kind, knowledgeable and a great asset to the Hotel. Denisa the photo lady was also delightful, chatty and a joy to be around and a big shout out to the animation team. Haven’t got names but their daily water aerobics has been fantastic and they are always happy and fun. I must say all the staff - Receptionists, Cleaners are all lovely and most of the bar and restaurants staff too (the odd 1 or 2 not so pleasant in the restaurant but they are working very hard). The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and are beautiful as are all the communal areas. Beds are spacious and comfortable. The pools, gardens and beach are all stunning and there are always plenty of sun beds. no queuing and a great atmosphere. Mikes coffee shop is an excellent addition too. The only constructive not critical thing I would say is that at most Hotels we stay at the safes are free and here I paid 40 euros but as everything else was so perfect this was no big deal. H10 members are also looked after and as Platinum guests we received a room upgrade plus lots of other added touches. We would wholeheartedly recommend this Hotel and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

My son and I stayed at H10 Tindaya from the 10th to the 17th of June, and we had a wonderful holiday.
The hotel itself was beautiful, the rooms were very clean, and the entire team was friendly and professional. However, I would especially like to mention Alondra Mary at Reception.

Overall, our stay was pleasant. The hotel is quite old, but it has clearly been renovated and is generally well maintained. The staff were always friendly and attentive, and the food in the main restaurant was good, although the variety could be improved.
Unfortunately, there was one issue that completely overshadowed the experience: the huge number of cockroaches throughout the hotel. We saw them in several areas, including the gym, the corridors near the rooms, and other common spaces.
The most shocking experience happened at the Route 66 restaurant, which was a real disappointment. Not only was the food inferior to that served in the main restaurant, but during our dinner we found four cockroaches around our table. When we informed a waitress, her response was that it was "normal" and that they probably came from the refrigerator next to our table. Honestly, having dinner under those conditions was absolutely disgusting.
When we reported the issue at reception, we were told that the hotel is surrounded by sewers and that this is something "normal". While I understand that insects can occasionally appear in tropical destinations, the number of cockroaches we encountered and the staff's apparent acceptance of the situation are simply not acceptable for a hotel of this standard.
Another disappointing aspect was the evening entertainment. The shows were very poor and lacked quality, finishing quite early in the evening. After the shows ended, there was virtually nothing else to do at the hotel, making the nights rather dull for guests looking for some entertainment after dinner.
It is a real shame because the hotel has many positive aspects and could offer a very good experience. However, the hygiene and pest control issues, together with the weak entertainment program, need to be addressed urgently.

This was our first time visiting Fuerteventura, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The hotel is right in front of the beach, which made the location perfect for us. The food was very good, the facilities were well maintained, and everything was spotless. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. We had such a lovely stay at H10 Princess, and one of the highlights was definitely the animation team. They work incredibly hard from morning until night, always with a smile and so much energy.
They made everyone feel welcome, whether you wanted to join in with the activities or simply enjoy watching the entertainment. They were fantastic with children and adults alike, creating a fun, friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel.

1. The hotel struggles to cater for allergies and even when they are made aware prior to arrival, still fail to accommodate and are so rude and unhelpful. Even when the issues were addressed nothing changed. Booked an early bteakfast due to an early flight and no one let us into breakfast and finally when we were allowed in there was no egg free option avaliable even when it was preordered. I could have gone to the supermarket across the road and bought egg free pasta and cooked i in the kettle in the room and yet they found it so difficult to do in such a big hotel.
2. The air conditioning in the room did not work properly and the engineer told me to leave it on all the time to feel the effects of it but the cleaners kept switching it off every day.
3. The privilege lounge smells like mustard and the carpets in there need a good clean.
4. Lunch starts at 1.30pm which is quite late for children.
5. The Italian restaurant has such limited choice of food.
6. The teppenyaki restaurant never seemed to open.
7. The lifeguard at the outdoor pool is so rude and just moves belongings all the time.
8. The only good thing about the whole holiday was the animation team who were amazing. A big thank you to Kristina for making my child feel so welcome.
I would definitely not return here again.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel and my niece and I got involved in lots activities over the week. We particularly enjoyed painting bags and candles, petanque and table tennis, and water aerobics. There was loads of other stuff to do too. The activity team were amazing. They were welcoming, fun and really hard working: getting people involved without being too pushy. The pool was lovely - just what you need to take the edge off the heat. Our rooms were large and clean. There was loads of choice to eat and drink. Highly recommended! Thanks team 😎

We stayed at this hotel for the first time with our two children, it was absolutely fantastic, they had so much entertainment in the day for the children- water sports, running on the water mats- foam party- golf-table tennis, craft making, the staff could really not do enough for you! They are so kind, professional and helpful!! We would really highly recommend this hotel- lots of different pools for the children. We would definitely come back again. Great location, but disappointing experience for a 4-star hotel
We stayed at H10 Lanzarote Princess for two weeks in July with our family (two adults and two children).
The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location. Playa Blanca is a wonderful area: quiet, pleasant, but still offering restaurants, supermarkets and all necessary services. Playa Dorada beach is within walking distance and is one of the nicest beaches in the area.
Unfortunately, considering the price paid and the expectations of a 4-star H10 hotel, our experience was disappointing.
The biggest issue was cleanliness. The room needed a deeper cleaning, with dust in the wardrobe, under the bed and in some corners. However, the main problem was the restaurant: children's plates were frequently dirty, and we found plates with food residues still attached. I also found a coffee cup with lipstick marks. For a family travelling with children, this was very disappointing.
The restaurant management was another major concern. Especially during the second week, when the hotel became busier, the buffet often struggled to keep up. Many dishes finished quickly, and we frequently had to wait for food to be replaced. On some occasions, even clean plates were unavailable and guests had to wait for new ones from the kitchen. This created a feeling of poor organisation during busy periods.
The food quality was average and below what we expected from a four-star hotel. Dinner was repetitive, with the same menu returning after one week. Breakfast was slightly better, but still not exceptional.
The hotel itself also shows signs of ageing and requires renovation. Furniture, flooring and some common areas need attention. The elevator situation was also disappointing: one elevator was out of service for the entire two-week stay, and the second one broke during the final days, creating problems for families with strollers.
There are positive aspects. The reception team was always polite and professional. Some staff members were excellent, especially the bartenders at the main bar, who were friendly and prepared very good cocktails. The children's evening entertainment was also appreciated by our kids.
I do not believe these problems are mainly caused by the staff, many of whom were kind and hardworking, but rather by organisation, management decisions and the general maintenance of the property.
Lanzarote and Playa Blanca are beautiful, and we would definitely return to the island. Unfortunately, considering the price paid, we would choose another hotel next time.

My partner and I have just arrived, and we are already having a wonderful experience.
From the moment we checked in, everything has been exceptional. The weather is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and the hotel itself is spotless, welcoming, and perfectly located.
A special thank you to Javier Moreno, who sent us a lovely anniversary message along with a bottle of prosecco and a box of chocolates. The level of customer service we have experienced so far has been outstanding. Every interaction has been warm, professional, and attentive, making us feel genuinely valued as guests.

Cozy and quiet hotel with a good location in Corralejo and parking spaces in front of the hotel. Beautiful, spacious rooms. Delicious food at the buffet, the à la carte restaurant is also highly recommended. Wide selection of drinks included in the all-inclusive package. The staff is very friendly. Definitely recommended.

We are staying at the hotel in corralejo & honestly it is amazing! My first ever time abroad and every single member of staff is excellent! We have recommended to friends and family. The location is amazing, next to loads of different clothes shops and supermarkets and bars. Just a 6 minuet walk to the music square which is gorgeous. Food is amazing too, different things every night so you don’t get bored and I have also only gone half board so I am paying for drinks but they are very very reasonable priced, only €4 for a large glass of wine. Has 2 pools and also a child’s pool, we are here in June so not many children here which is a bonus for us, but in the school holidays it gets busier with family’s and they have so many family activities scheduled for that time which will be good for the people with children. We will definitely be coming back!

We have just had a lovely stay here. Everything was lovely. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. Ours a little dated but the bed was super comfy and we both slept incredibly well. Both restaurants were exceptional I can't fault the food, so much choice kitchen staff constantly checking everything. Omlettes cooked to order at breakfast and pasta finished off whilst you wait. First time at H10 hotel and you can tell it's a family run business. Thank you to Everyone for a lovely stay. Big shout out to bar staff who were amazing.

This hotel is situated in an excellent position. Close enough to the main street, yet tucked away to give peace and quiet. The rooms are spacious and the food is good quality. It's the warmth of the staff that I take away from my recent visit, they go above and beyond to make your stay special. A mention to Sebastian on reception who has such an upbeat personality. I wouldn't hesitate in returning to this hotel.

We had a lovely holiday in Gran Canaria, but unfortunately our experience was completely ruined by the receptionist, SANDRA. She was very rude to us throughout our stay, never helpful, and always seemed annoyed or in a bad mood.
I honestly don’t understand how a place charging £200 per night can have someone with such poor customer service representing them. It really left a very bad impression and spoiled what otherwise would have been a great holiday.

we had a lovely stay at Bronze Playa. The staff are friendly and willing to help; the pool/outdoor area is lovely and spacious, with plenty of choice at the bar. Both breakfast and dinner were lovely, with plenty of choice and a different menu each evening. The rooms are a little outdated, particularly the bathrooms, and the towels provided are definitely showing their age! That said, the bed sheets were clean and comfy, and the room is lovely and spacious, with a great balcony! Overall, the hotel is great and would stay again!

The hotel was located in a nice area close to the center and the beach. We loved the choice of food in the restaurant, and even though I'm a vegetarian I had plenty of things to chose from. We were welcomed and treated very nicely by the reception staff and the housekeeping ladies. The only thing to mention is that we could not sleep well as the beds were very hard. Also the bathroom needs to be renovated. However, the room was big and clean and we had a great view of the sea.

All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Perhaps a few more staff members would have made for a better dining room and bar service as there just wasn't t enough staff to keep on top of everything. Fruit juice and food platters would empty and weren't replenished. I found the breakfast and lunch buffet to be adequate but ate out each evening as my 15 year old is a vegetarian so the choices available were quite limited. The sun loungers were comfortable and readily available. We weren't offered pool towels and I didn't notice anywhere around the pool for picking any up but as we took our own with us this wasn't a problem. Our room didn't appear to have any accessible electrical sockets, the only place available to plug in a hairdryer or straighteners was in the shaver socket in the bathroom which worked but I don't think that it was designed to accept a converter plug. I would have expected a socket by the mirror in the bedroom but none could be found. The location of the hotel was great for us and we felt safe in the area in the evenings. The hotel supermarket is well stocked and reasonably priced. If you're looking for good value for money rather than luxury this hotel is it.

Beautiful hotel. Fantastic rooms with plenty of space. Family of 4 with 2 kids aged 11 and 10 and we all had a brilliant time. Plenty of things to do. Food was amazing! Alejandro and staff couldn't have helped any more than they did. Great service throughout and very clean. The bar was amazing! MARCOS our friend was fantastic. He went above and beyond for us, service was amazing. Bar so clean and so friendly. Highly recommend to anyone, thanks for having us 😁 Be back soon, thank you 😁

I stayed at this hotel in July, and overall, my experience was quite mixed.
The rooms are very small. The bathroom itself looked nice, but there was an issue with the shower doors, so water would leak across the bathroom floor whenever we used the shower. The air-conditioning unit also did not seem properly cleaned, as it was visibly full of dust.
Another thing that disappointed me was the cleanliness of the common areas. The carpet in the hallway did not appear to be cleaned properly during our stay.
The restaurant also felt quite dated. In terms of food, I was expecting to find more local Canarian or Spanish products, such as local cheeses, ham, and other regional specialties. Instead, the selection seemed mainly adapted to British tourists, with relatively few healthy options. Some of the fruit, such as the nectarines, was visibly dirty and did not appear to have been washed properly. The cereals also seemed stale and were not pleasant to eat.
I was also surprised by the breakfast service. When I asked for warm milk, I was told that I could either heat it myself in the microwave or use the milk from the coffee machine. For a hotel of this category, I expected a better level of service.
The location is very central, right in the heart of Las Américas, which can be convenient, but it also comes with some disadvantages. In the evenings, the surrounding area becomes very busy with nightlife. We frequently saw intoxicated people and people apparently using recreational substances from balloons. There was also quite a lot of rubbish on the streets in front of and around the hotel, especially after the parties, which made the area less pleasant.
On the positive side, the hotel’s garden and swimming pool areas are absolutely beautiful. They were, by far, the highlight of our stay and very well maintained.
Overall, the hotel has some very attractive outdoor areas and an excellent central location, but in my opinion, the rooms, cleanliness, restaurant quality, and breakfast service need significant improvement

My initial review would be if I was knit picking but as my 10 days went on the list was racking up. On arrival room was not ready until 4 30pm
Rooms and corridor was very dated and dark and so much noise from the Irish bar underneath. shower temperature was boiling then freezing thought out every shower. Toliet rolls was never refilled floors was very dirty in rooms. My mother rented a kettle for the time she was there as this is not included in rooms and they never refilled her milk sugar or tea and coffee then 3 days before we left they took all cups so she shouldnt use anymore even when telling reception they did nothing. ALL toilets throughout hotel never had hand soap which was a big one for me this is disgusting!!!! 1 cockroache in my bathroom on last morning but as it was only 1 I think it come up the drains. Pool area was very nice and clean pool temperature was lovely Tenerife is lovely and we will definitely return but not to this hotel. far to expensive for what you get. Definitely not a 4 star.

I love the hotel. Staff is really nice and accommodating. I was here for my birthday and one of the managers, peter, was so nice to give me and my partner a bottle of sparkling wine as a birthday present. Pools are great, as well as the drinks and the food! There’s a different dinner theme every night, like italian, spanish, exotic, sea food and so on wich is really great. Only thing i‘d recommend is to switch up the breakfast every other day as well.
All in all it was great. Thank you very much for having us!

This place was truly amazing. Rooms are great, the entire hotel is always kept very clean. Special shoutout to the animation team who were incredible kept us coming back every night for the mini-disco and evening entertainment as well as activities throughout the day to keep you entertained. Bar staff are very polite same with reception staff on the whole hotel was amazing and made us feel very welcome!

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at Las Palmeras after we extended our stay in Tenerife and were unable to stay on in our original apartment. The hotel is very conveniently located close to shop, bars and restaurants. We booked a sea view room and it was lovely. The breakfast choice was good although strangely, we couldn’t find any ketchup 🤷♂️. The reception, maid service and restaurant staff are very polite and friendly. The pool area was very clean but quite busy. I’m not a fan of sardine bathing……but if you keep looking, there are a few quiet spots. The pool aerobics seemed to go down well! My only criticism would be that I think the rooms, while very clean and comfortable, could do with a bit of updating. Our room only had two sockets which doesn’t really suffice when all the technology needs recharging. The TV internet didn’t work for 3 days (not that we went on holiday to watch TV) apparently there was a problem across the hotel according to the lady at reception. Also the shower enclosure leaked. To be fair when I mentioned it to reception, they sent someone up straight away……..but the shower continued to leak. The maid however made sure we had enough towels to soak up the water. A small number of first world problems…….but for an extra 5 days in the sun, well worth it.

Excellent hotel, located just across from the beach, with multiple pools and hot tubs. The staff were very helpful, kind, and welcoming. I was upgraded to a room with a terrace and private sunbeds, which was a wonderful surprise.
The hotel was also very accommodating. Although they could not offer a late checkout, they provided access to a shower room, which allowed me to enjoy the beach a little longer and freshen up before my flight.
The buffet restaurant has a beautiful terrace with sea views and stunning sunsets. The buffet itself was not the best, but still a solid option.

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. The reception staff were friendly and professional, the check-in was quick, and our room was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed.
The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a great variety of high-quality food, and the staff throughout the hotel were always smiling and helpful. The pools and surrounding areas were exceptionally clean, and the adults-only concept created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The location is perfect, with a beautiful beach directly behind the hotel and the marina, shops, and restaurants just a short walk away.
A big thank you to the entire H10 Gran Tinerfe team for making our holiday so special. We will definitely be back!

Hotel staff very welcoming, friendly and always happy to help.
Our rooms on both visits have been excellent and we are already planning our next visit here.
Adult Only Hotel which is nice for us and in the middle of Playa De Las Americas and Costa Adeje so nice walks both ways when you come out of the Hotel.
Food has also been very good with a large selection on both Breakfast and Evening Meal times.

Just returned after a 4 nights stay with 8 others on a stag do, hotel could not be more accommodating, staff we so super helpful, polite and welcoming, rooms were super clean, well presented, privilege lounge was a bonus, yes we did drink a fair bit, sometimes maybe a little loud but we’re always super polite and let us enjoy our time, restaurants were again super accommodating for us, food was hot and a great choice of options, pools super clean, again snack pool bar staff and food/drink options great.
Nice the staff interacted with us, yes sometimes 9 lads can be intimidating but I hope we Did not disappoint with behaviour, were a little loud first Day at lunch but just told that’s enough Drinks now the Bar is down stairs which we respected as people where eating.
Super location, close enough to the messy side of things but far enough out to enjoy the day, lots of nice shops and restaurants local if you don’t opt for all inclusive, we did eat out a couple of evenings as had restaurants booked which we enjoyed from previous visits.
Several people enjoyed the casino on a few occasions from our group, again met with polite customer service.

FOOD & DRINKS
Plenty of choice including fresh meat, fish, veg… English food night was brill, as was the Chinese. Beach restaurant for a dining service at lunch is always lovely overlooking the sea. Drinks are spot on, good selection of spirits and bottled mixers (no flat coke like some chains). Didn’t do privilege as don’t see the point. We didn’t do the à la cartes this time around so can’t comment, as prefer to eat out a few times too.
ROOMS
We upgraded again and our room was really spacious, with good views and close to the pool. Modern and cleaned (thanks to our lovely cleaner Jennifer!).
LOCATION
Close to centre of Las Americas and Adeje, great location if you like walking as can go both ways. Lots of bars/rests around the hotel and up the road, entertainment, close to the waterpark, shops, etc.
Note - we stayed in Playa Paraiso last October and regretted it as not much going on outside the hotel, walks not as nice either.

The team are fantastic, every body was so pleasant and friendly, which helped to make our stay perfect. Hotel entertainment was great too. Special thanks to David (bar), Julian (best pool bar guy), Yadary (waitress). Thank you again for a brilliant stay!

This hotel is a slice of paradise!!
I have stayed in countless places worldwide, and this has remained as easily the nicest hotel I’ve had the pleasure of staying at.
The staff: so attentive & caring! I felt so well-cared for, looked after, and that nothing was a problem for the staff to solve. The staff knowing who you are as you arrive? An excellent touch! The small chats as you pass through reception? Lovely! The service during breakfast, lunch, dinner? Superb!
The rooms: perfectly maintained! I’d recommend the rooms 230-235 as these look back on the pool and out to the mountains and the view is SO GOOD. On my second stay we were offered a room that looked the other direction, and it was still great but it didn’t feel the same as our previous stay. We asked if we could move rooms and to the wonderful staff, it wasn’t a problem. The beds are comfy, the balconies are great, and the bathrooms are perfect. The AC is also excellent.
The food: excellent! Being vegan wasn’t an issue - there were countless options every day including vegan croissants (!!). There are also many options nearby too, including a lovely vegan restaurant a few minutes walk away. The live entertainment during dinner is classy, calming, and sets an excellent atmosphere.
The location: nice! The waterfront is very touristy, but the hotel feels secluded and relaxing with little noise from the surrounding area. There is no on-site parking (although they have some sort of deal with the shopping center over the road, and the parking for hotel guests is very cheap. It is easily accessible by road, and I’d recommend guests get a hire car from either the airport or nearby to the hotel to enjoy the viewpoints around the island.
I’ll happily return here in the future!

This hotel knows how to deliver a standard which is quite exceptional to find these days. All staff across all areas of the hotel were professional but friendly and extremely helpful. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding. The added bonus were the heated pools, and supply of pool towels, just brilliant; mine stayed in the case! The room safe was a decent size, bottled water left every day, pod coffee machine with great coffee and of course a fridge. We didn't upgrade our room and were facing the road, which was not busy and caused us no problems. We wanted a week away, in a nice quiet authentic hotel, Hotel Colon Guanahani delivered, and we could not have asked for more. Well done to the Adrian family for creating a family run environment, with a leadership in place to maintain this ethos. Thank you to all the staff who made this a really memorable holiday and to some fellow holiday makers who added to the evening entertainment with their dancing skills! We had a fabulous week.

We are just home from a fantastic trip staying at Hotel Colon Guanahani. This hotel is like a breath of fresh air where you can relax and recharge your batteries.
The pros of this hotel are: the staff, the rooms, the location and its cleanliness. The cleaning staff need to be praised as everywhere was spotless and the rooms were cleaned to such a high standard. There wasn’t an insect insight!
The cons of this hotel: the food. We had stayed for breakfast & dinner but ended up only eating in three nights out of seven. It was just average. The food hygiene level was excellent and there was plenty of choice, but we just felt the quality of the food wasn’t high enough.
The sauna and the roof top pool was out of order during our whole stay which was disappointing.
We would definitely come back on a breakfast only basis as it was peaceful and relaxing. A big shout out to all the staff who were so friendly and helpful. Thank you!

A fabulous oasis of a hotel in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. It's adults only so is very quiet, peaceful and tranquil. The staff are just first rate and the hotel is so very clean it's almost unreal. The food is first class with a great selection of food at every meal and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Great hotel, was mainly retired people but that was a bonus as quite. Heated pools, breakfast option great but could have a few more options but to be honest there was alot of choice still, hot and cold. Ate out for tea so cannot comment on evening meals at hotel but seemed to be plenty eating there so must have been ok. Tonnes of options outside the hotel and all within walking distance, hotel is well positioned for food, mini markets, beach. Only complaint would be sunbeds, ok some days but if hotel gets full capacity the beds in the sun became sparce by 9:00-9:30 and your not supposed to reserve but you have no choice or get up earlier on your holidays which contradicts a holiday for me :)

Beautiful hotel situated towards the end of the promenade of los christianos. Rooms were ok and the beds were the most comfortable I've slept in when on holiday. Staff are super friendly the place is spotless and the food was varied each day and you can get a lovely English breakfast with freshly cooked eggs and bacon ( cooked in front of you) steaks chops fish omelette and pancakes all cooked fresh too. Putting Towels on sunbeds isn't permitted and the pool doesn't open til 9:30. As the hotel is child free there's a really chilled vibe here. The rooftop terrace is available to everyone and the view is spectacular. From the poolside you can exit straight onto the promenade by the mini golf which is 2 euros for people staying at big sur instead of the usual 5 euros. Will definitely be coming back

For a slightly last minute budget holiday (couple in 30s) we loved our time here at H10 Big Sur. Outside of the hotel looks tired/dated but the inside is lovely. Everywhere is very clean, including the pool and poolside. Very quiet and chill atmosphere. Laura the poolside entertainer is brilliant, her music quizzes were a highlight of our day. Dinner is sometimes a bit hit and miss, would be nice to have nicer fresh salad options but the fresh meat grill is great and we enjoyed the omelette station and fresh fruit for breakfast. The local area is very touristy, not much in the way of culture or history but as we stayed by the pool for most of the holiday this didn't bother us much. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxed getaway.

Reception staff are all very friendly and attentive from the moment you arrive , till you leave.
Special shout out to the member of the reception staff with the ponytail (dd not catch his name) . He was a shining example of how hotel staff should interact with the guests. He could not do enough for us , even taking my wifes suitcase up the "small" hill from the front door to the pick up point. He is a credit t0 H10 hotels.
The housekeeping staff were excellent and really keep the place very clean whilst not getting in the way.
The same applies to the restaurant and bar staff, very professional and customer focussed at all times.
The rooms are smallish but have everything you could ask for with the exception of one thing, namely USB charging ports. I could not find one anywhere in the hotel.
H10 hotels have some free things for guests which they dont tell them about and you find out by pure chance.
1: Free tea and coffee with cookies between 3pm and 4pm in the small coffee cafe next to reception. Really appreciated and should be used more.
2: Free use of a room behind the reception for showering and changing in before you leave and after you have checked out (if available as it is a wheelchair accessible room)
3: Two relatively small and quiet rooftop areas with super sunbeds. Why they dont open till 11am is strange though.
Overall it is nice to have a quiet , small and friendly hotel with easy access to the centre of the resort.

Myself and my wife returned to this hotel for a second time and we were not disappointed. We had a lovely see view room on the seventh floor which was clean and spacious. The food was delicious with a good selection to suit all tastes. The staff were as always attentive and helpful, a special mention must go to Eva, Camilla and Gabbie who couldn’t do enough to make our holiday memorable. We will certainly return.

Outstanding. I was working on a movie which required me to stay here two times, about 2-3 days apiece. I was knocked out by the courteous service and the attentive nature of the front desk clerks. All of them. I was stranded one day without a room or my driver for 5 hours, and they were completely accommodating. This I have never experienced in hotels, and I was at a fancy one in Rome that treated me like a hobo once I checked out. Not here. You can barely get hotels to store your luggage sometimes. The superb customer service is just for starters. The food is higher echelon restaurant quality, with buffets supplying you with everything. I loved the Spanish dishes, and the home-made pancakes, eggs and bacon at the breakfast grill were all divino. I gained a lot of weight. The maids were so kind and smiling. I can only imagine this is because they are happy to work in the hotel, and you can feel it in the atmosphere, in the walls. For some people, the tourist residents may seem strange, as they seem to never leave the hotel. I didn't frequent the pool area, which was popular, complete with shopping opportunities brought right to you. I found the night-time entertainment charming, definitely not too loud or obnoxious. They play covers from Elvis to John Denver to Pink Floyd. My last night the rock and pop songs ended by 11 PM. I felt safe and secure here. To leave my window open at night and hear the crashing surf is a memory I won't forget, and maybe Liz Taylor and Richard Burton, who stayed here back in 1970, appreciated the same. The promenade isn't my favorite place, so I understand many guests staying indoors here. The upstairs patio lounge is fantastic, by the way. Also, clean rooms with decent air conditioning. I hope some day to come back. Grazie tutti for everything.

**Title: Wonderful, private stay at Las Terrazas de Abama Suites**
I recently stayed at Las Terrazas de Abama Suites in Tenerife and had a very pleasant stay in apartment 402. The property is beautiful, very well maintained, and offers a feeling of space and calm with lovely surroundings.
One of the things I appreciated most was how private and peaceful the resort felt, which made it easy to relax and disconnect. The suites are spacious and comfortable, and the whole setting feels exclusive without being pretentious.
The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always greeting us with a smile and willing to assist whenever needed. I would like to make a special mention of Rahul at reception, who was kind, considerate, and did his best to make our visit both very pleasant and truly memorable.
Based on this experience, I would definitely come back to Las Terrazas de Abama Suites and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and private stay in Tenerife.

The rooms are all located perfectly! Stunning views overall, and the way of building the resort is stunning.
The rooms are also very clean, but some of them may need a little technical update (check on lights, showers etc.).
Some sunbeds in the rooms are ready for renewal as well.
The service is always good, especially from Diego and Maria, who are always ready to help you out, and treat you in a very comfortable social funny way.
Service in breakfast is always perfect, and relaxed, like it should be in the morning :).
Naty is my favourite! But everybody is amazing!
Location of this resort is perfect for a more peacefull holiday, without a lot of typical touristic distractions.

I have been coming to Lanzarote for years but had never stayed here - I’ll only come back to Barcelo royal level from now on. The service was 10/10, very attentive, and the hotel itself is amazing. The pools are lovely, and there are plenty of options for relaxing and sporting activities. My only wish is that we stayed longer to try everything - we will have to come back again next year. Thank you for our stay. Special thanks to the lovely lady at the royal level check in desk, the lady with very short hair, she was amazing. Than you!

Ok so my ratings are all over the place and I will explain why.
First off 99% of the staff at this hotel are great, and I have to mention 2 of the best by name 1. Beatrice the guest relations manager was excellent. 2. Javier the pool bar waiter at the infinity pool was superb, a real display of 5 star customer service from both individuals.
Its not located great as its a bus or taxi to the main strip, we walked a couple times, but in that heat (32°), was no joke. Food was ok, not great, with a selection for the kids missing from its offering. Multiple maintenance issues ranging from cold/dirty pools to no locks on balcony doors to effectively secure the room. Lifts didn't work for half of our holiday, which was not good. Quite noisy when wanted to sleep. Don't get caught in the hype of ROYAL LEVEL, really not as great as you would expect. Not our worst holiday, but definitely won't return.

This is the second time we’ve been at Barcelo active resort and it’s been amazing both times. The location of the hotel is perfect and only a short walk up into the town. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were spotless and very comfortable. There were lots of vegetarian food options available and the chefs were very accommodating with additional vegan options by making vegan pizza on request! Everything exceeded our expectations and we will be back again!

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The facilities were well maintained, the hotel was clean and organised, and the overall experience was positive.
There are, however, a few areas where improvements could be made. While most staff members were friendly and helpful, I occasionally encountered situations where staff would not communicate in English, which made things difficult for international guests. The gym was also somewhat underwhelming and could benefit from better equipment and maintenance.
I was surprised that no complimentary water was available during dinner, especially in an all-inclusive setting. In addition, obtaining a beach towel required a cash deposit, which felt inconsistent with the hotel’s otherwise modern and largely cashless system based on the wristband chip.
Finally, the food was somewhat hit and miss. Some meals were very enjoyable, while others were less impressive. That said, considering the scale of catering required in a large all-inclusive resort, this is perhaps understandable.
Despite these minor issues, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel to others. The positives clearly outweighed the negatives, and with a few adjustments the experience could be even better.

Great location , great staff and amazing views.
We would have loved a room higher up as we had no view from our balcony other than a bush but it didn’t stop us enjoying as we spent little time in the room .
Amazing pool with a sea view which was like a warm bath and a little van with refreshments nearby , special shout out to Pedro and his great music taste .
Room adequate for our needs and spotlessly clean throughout with regular room service and clean towels .
Entertainment was good and we spent a few nights in but mostly out and about as such a beautiful resort and we like to walk a lot .
We are going to book again now for next year ! Thank you Conquistador for a lovely and much needed holiday celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary .

H10 Conquistador is THE best all-inclusive hotel I have stayed in for a very long time. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There are many complimentary items and the food is absolutely fantastic for an all-inclusive. Javi from entertainment team is priceless…what a guy! He has kept us entertained all week and has enough energy for the rest of us. This is our second year & all ready looking at booking next year. Location is just off the main strip which is perfect for older visitors and families. There truly is nothing not to like about this hotel!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and were extremely satisfied with everything. The food was absolutely delicious, always fresh, varied, and of very good quality. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.
The hotel offers excellent facilities for children, including fun activities and wonderful shows for kids every evening, which made the experience even more special for families. The view was breathtaking, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful.
The reception team was exceptionally friendly and professional, making us feel truly valued as guests from the very first moment. The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable.
The level of care and attention towards guests was truly outstanding. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return anytime!

We had a fantastic stay at H10 with our four year old. The rooms are immaculate, modern and spacious and the hotel kindly provided a bed guard for our little boy. We enjoyed the children's splash pool and heated nearby pool and would like to commend the lifeguards who were always working so hard and were so observant.
We had delicious food at the buffet and notably at the snack bar (which completely exceeded our expectations for lunch) and a special shout out to the Italian restaurant whose service was exceptional, they made us and our little one feel really special.
We stayed on the hard rock side of the hotel and really enjoyed watching the lights and listening to the music in the evening. Whilst we enjoyed this it is worth noting if you want a quieter balcony at night you might be better off requesting a pool side room.
Daisy dance and disco was a big hit with our little boy, he is still doing the dance now!
We had a perfect family break but the hotel would also suit those without children - with other quieter pools, elevated dining and beautiful cocktails.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend.

We went to the Sakura restaurant on 13th of July and went through an amazing experience. We were expecting to just have a casual dinner, but waiter and chef transitioned it into unbelievable experience! Waiter Carlos was caring, he promptly was serving drinks and tidying up our tables. Chef himself was such a joy of the evening! Instead of just having a dinner we had a whole show with tasty ongoing food. Everything was efficient and just in time for us to get hungry again. Food looked appealing and the taste was unmatched and delicious. Looking forward to come back! :)

This was our second stay at H10 Atlantic Sunset, and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment.
Upon arrival, we were told our room wasn’t ready and had to wait over two hours, finally getting access at 4:30pm. During this time, no food, drinks, or any gesture of goodwill was offered despite the lengthy delay.
Guests should also be aware that there is currently major construction work taking place next door, with a new apartment complex being built. The constant digging and noise lasted throughout the day and completely ruined the peaceful atmosphere we expected. Photos included proposed plans which will be a couple of years of construction.
We had booked the rooftop suite the top room and were surprised to find that, despite being on half board, we were restricted to eating only in the buffet restaurant rather than having access to the other restaurants on site.
The final straw was being served raw burgers in the buffet. I raised this serious food safety concern with management, but the response was disappointing. The manager’s solution was simply to offer €50 off our bill, which felt wholly inadequate given the issues we experienced.
We returned because we had enjoyed our first stay, but sadly this visit was nothing like the previous one. Between the delayed check-in, construction noise, dining restrictions, and food quality concerns, we would not return and cannot recommend this hotel in its current state.

My partner and son Visited Last year,and were so impressed with every aspect of the Salobre that they wanted to return- I could not be more impressed. The resort has been designed beautifully to blend into the environment seamlessly. The views, especially From The rooftop garden are simply breathtaking. The service, ambience, food , facilities are second to none-Best Holiday experience I’ve ever had. Absolutely blown away by how breathtakingly beautiful this resort was. It was absolutely huge, 7 pools, golf course, spa, gym, multiple restaurants ( the Sens restaurant was top tier - themed nights and literally something for everyone the food court was amazing) and the entertainment provided every night was amazing. There is a complementary bus provided everyday, multiple times throughout the day to take you into Masapalomas and Back. Hotel App very easy to use to view menus, drinks, bookings for spa and golf courses and the bus. Very quiet and a beautiful walk outside the hotel.

Beyond impressed with my recent experience at Salobre Hotel. First of all the place is huge and feels top class.
Everything is clean, rooms are a nice size with a view over the golf course.
Has a few pools for parents with children and a huge infinity pool for adults on the top floor which is pure bliss.
Plenty of sun loungers and beds too, but could do with a few extra shades for some of the loungers (I burn easily)
Then to the food, which is beautifully prepared and cooked in front of you with enough variety to please everyone.
Service from the restaurant staff is also excellent. All the staff for that matter are friendly and well mannered.
They have an app with a timetable of activities happening daily, I attended a number of activities which were conducted very professionally and highly enjoyable.
I particularly enjoyed the yoga and meditation classes that took place in two beautiful locations on the Resort grounds. The yoga teacher was also top class and knew her trade exceptionally well.
Oh and there is another cool pool and spa area….and live music in the evenings…. Just book it, give yourself some self love and find out for yourself, I’ll be going back for sure.

We visited in May in 25 and really enjoyed the stay. The spa and swimming pools are separated on different levels and thus provided great view over the golf course. Better to make a reservation with the Spa since they were quite popular. Golf courses are well maintained and the landscape is amazing. We also had a 9 hole round with the pro. Breakfast has a good variety of foods with freshly made smoothies. I also tried out the morning yoga session. Quite relaxing.
The restaurant at the resort entrance has a nice view but the food is average. Tiramisu was highly recommended by the waitress but merely a pile of cream. We found better restaurants outside with cheaper prices.
The king bed in our room was composed of two rolling beds. So they frequently rolled away from each other when we were sleeping. Not the most comfortable choice for a couple.

We stayed at the Salobre for 5 nights for a special girls trip and from start to finish it was 5 stars - absolute perfection! The hotel is beautiful, so clean, and smells like a spa. The decor is beautiful throughout! The outdoor facilities including pools (and the secret pool which we found!) were wonderful. The hotel was very quiet in a lovely way. The breakfast was a highlight - literally everything you could want, fresh and replenished throughout the morning, omelettes and crepes cooked fresh to order!
We also experienced the tasting menu at the Sidecar restaurant which was amazing and great value!
Easy and safe free parking with plenty of spaces.
However the real selling point of this hotel is the staff - someone within reach at all times who is more than willing to help with whatever it is you need. Everyone we met was fantastic and made our stay even more perfect, but a special shout out to Andres on reception and Antonio who made our evenings ordering us taxis into Maspalomas and being there with a friendly smile when we got back!
I would wholeheartedly recommend the Salobre and look forward to coming back!

We visited Roca Nivaria Gran Hotel in April 2026. This was our first family holiday abroad with our two children. Therefore we spent a lot of time researching in order to find the perfect destination and hotel. I am pleased to say that we had an amazing time at Roca Nivaria Gran Hotel!
All the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. They all work very hard to ensure all guests have a fantastic experience. Special mention to Lin in the main restaurant who was fantastic with our two children. Also, Javier who made our breakfast experience memorable. He will remember us for the word 'estupendo'.
The food was fantastic and there was a lot of variety each day. We enjoyed the fish and meat which was cooked in front of you at the grills.
There was also plenty of drinks options and our children were very happy with the options available. They also enjoyed the games room next to the restaurant. This was ideal as we could enjoy our meal knowing they were safe and happily playing within close reach of us.
The rooms are very spacious. The beds were very comfortable and towels were changed daily. We also enjoyed the large balcony with the sea view.
The location was perfect for us. 30 minutes taxi ride from the airport. Situated on the seafront in a quiet area. It was nice to walk on the promenade.
The hotel had everything we needed so we didn't feel the need to venture far from the hotel especially with two young children.
The swimming pools were brilliant. We mainly used the RoniAventura children's pool as it had fantastic slides which our children loved. We also enjoyed the heated pool with the jacuzzi.
We thoroughly enjoyed the evening entertainment as it was very inclusive. The entertainment team always involved children which made us feel comfortable. Special mention to Camillo in the main bar who was always friendly and provided great service.
Thank you for making our holiday extra special. We have made many happy memories that will stay with us for a long time. We would love to visit again as a family in the future.

Had a great week here which was just before Spanish summer holidays so it wasn't too busy. The hotel attracts lots of retirees and families with young children. There is a separate family zone with slides away from the main pools but you will find most families take the heated pool. We found peace by the lower pool but you should expect lots of kids.
The food was quite good for a buffet and had decent range with themed nights (Chinese, Mexican, etc). Can confirm the hotel is good for vegans, there was always something like bean dishes, meatballs, tofu, however lunches were poor in comparison. I hope the hotel considers improving the vegan protein offerings and use the tofu/seitan on more meals. Also locking the veggie burgers behind payment and only on the lunch menu felt very wrong when all meat options are included in the buffet. They do offer dairy free ice creams but you need to ask - you also need to ask the right my people. One chef told me they didn't have any, while another showed me the range. Luck of the draw! Allergen labelling was good 90% of the time but if you ask the staff did know.
The pool bar isn't open for very long (11ish-4ish) which I thought was weird. Drinks were solid enough for all inclusive type hotels.
The area around the hotel doesn't offer much and has a problem with homelessness. It was never a problem but it didn't make you want to leave. We also didn't know there was a shuttle bus to Costa Adeje (to another Adrian hotel), people should be told when they go. The neighbouring beach is very small and not very clean so we didn't spend much time there.
Rooms were clean, sea views incredible in the side building (worth paying for), but I would recommend requesting a room not in the main building as the bar can be loud til 11 if they have singers on. The sunsets are also phenomenal.
Overall I'd go back, especially if it was a family holiday. Staff were on the whole lovely apart from the odd person.

A beautiful five-star hotel with an amazing pool area and stunning ocean views.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights and truly enjoyed our time there. One of the highlights was the enormous heated saltwater pool. The entire pool area feels very cozy and thoughtfully designed, with beautiful details like palm trees everywhere and a bar directly by the pool, which creates a fantastic and relaxing atmosphere.
Our premium room with an ocean view was absolutely wonderful. Waking up to the view of the sea made the stay even more special and added to the overall luxury experience of the hotel.
The only aspect that could be improved was the dinner service on the first evening. At the grill station there was only one chef preparing fresh fish, and she was clearly overwhelmed by the number of guests. A long line quickly formed and many people eventually gave up waiting. We personally waited around 15–20 minutes just to get grilled fish. For such a large five-star hotel, this kind of kitchen management is unfortunately not ideal and could certainly be organized more efficiently.

Beautiful hotel, looks over the sea, there is a walkway all the way around the hotel and the other hotel next door. The staff are very friendly and helpful if you have a problem. The hotel is very clean and well designed to getting around loads of lifts. The food has a lot of variety each night is a different themes. The room was good and loved the walk in wardrobe, very spacious we had a lovely view of the sea from our balcony, we were on the 6th floor plus there were 2 sun loughes and table and chairs very good suntrap. The bus service is regular to different parts of the island, the stop is bear the hotel.

We had an amazing time! The hotel more than exceeded our expectations. We really can't say enough good things about it. The pools were great, the facilities were clean and spacious, the food was vast, and the staff was attentive and friendly. What truly amazed us was getting a bottle of champagne delivered to our room on my daughter's 19th birthday. We never even mentioned that it was her birthday, they must have noticed it when we provided our passport info. Great attention to detail. The only downside to the whole stay was that the hotel attempted to charge us for the buffet lunch my two kids had on checkout day (while Mom and Dad packed). We didn't know that lunch wasn't included on the last day in the All Inclusive meal plan. But the hotel compromised with us by splitting the charges in half.

We’ve just returned from a 6‑day stay at this hotel. The aesthetics are undeniably stunning and very “Instagram‑friendly”, but beyond that we struggled to find much to praise.
The facilities feel undersized for a hotel of this class, especially the kids’ club and the swimming pool, which both seemed quite small. We were also refused a tour of the spa before paying to enter, which did not create a welcoming impression. Breakfast choice was surprisingly limited – six days of top‑quality English breakfast is still not good when there’s little variety – and overall the hotel lacked any sense of vibrancy or atmosphere.
There was little effort from the hotel to engage or entertain guests, so despite the beautiful surroundings it sometimes felt like being back in lockdown. Your eyes are pleased by the design, but the overall experience ends up feeling oddly depressing. On a positive note, the hotel’s beach is noticeably better than the other public beaches we visited in Tenerife.
Overall, I think this Ritz Carlton is over-rated, we much prefer Rixos resort.

From the moment we arrived, the level of service we experienced was truly exceptional. My wife and I chose this resort for our honeymoon, and despite a disastrous start to our trip—arriving 12 hours late and entirely without our luggage due to airline complications—the staff immediately turned our experience around. They were incredibly accommodating, ensuring we had all the basic essentials we needed and expertly pointing us in the right direction to get settled.
The room itself far exceeded our expectations. Furthermore, the staff consistently delivered top-tier, unparalleled customer service; their kindness and helpfulness cannot be overstated.
The property is massive and remarkably self-contained. It features everything you could possibly need, meaning you never actually have to leave the resort grounds. However, should you wish to explore, it is conveniently located just minutes away from outside entertainment and attractions.
I cannot recommend this resort highly enough, though there is one caveat for future travelers to consider. Given the premium price point and the overall sophisticated, classy ambiance of the property, the presence of noisy children and unruly parents felt quite out of place. While this behavioral issue falls squarely on the guests rather than the resort management, I do wish this was an adults-only establishment, as we paid a premium and expected an atmosphere to match.
Despite that minor grievance regarding the clientele, the resort itself is spectacular. If I could award them 12 stars, I would do so without hesitation.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Tenerife. We stayed in the Imperial Suite, and from the moment we arrived until the day we left, we were exceptionally well looked after. The level of service was consistently warm, attentive, and professional.
The property is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views, perfect weather, stunning grounds, and an atmosphere that makes it easy to completely relax. The restaurants were excellent, and every meal we had during our stay was of a very high standard. We highly recommend Akira for incredible sushi and Mirador for the stunning views.
A special thank you to Mr. João, who took outstanding care of us throughout our stay. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made our experience even more memorable. Was an amazing hotel with amazing food, a beautiful beach, and beautiful rooms. We even got an upgrade to an ocean view room. The staff at the check in desk are amazing, kind and accommodating. The bar tender inside is exceptional. However, we had to wait around twenty minutes at the pool to get a towel, no service ever came to take our order. Not a problem, that is normal in life. However, when you are paying ritz prices, you should be allowed to expect a certain type of service. This was only at the pool we experienced this problem though. Breakfast was amazing and the staff at breakfast were exceptional. Poolside service was the only problem. Oh and our room wasn’t cleaned 3/7 days of our stay. Would give five stars if the price wasn’t so high.

Excellent one week holiday with our older teenage kids. So impressed that even during peak summer there were always plenty of sun beds available and the hotel was busy but always seemed quiet and relaxing, which is just what we wanted. The infinity pool is fabulous!
The food was very good, as were the drinks! Very good brands and very generous measures are included as part of the all inclusive package.
We have vegans in our group and there was a very good variety of food, with various non dairy milk options available, lots of vegetable and chickpea / lentil / bean dishes so it was easy to eat well, and also sorbet available when we asked for it. The chef also made us a cheese free pizza when we asked for it.
We enjoyed a visit to the à la carte Italian restaurant, where we were looked after extremely well also.
The gym is also really good!
I would definitely return. My only wish would be for an occasional dairy free dessert (the sorbet was nice but I did see all the amazing puddings and wish there was something for me!).
The staff here work really hard to ensure everyone is happy. The guy who looks after the infinity pool area is incredible and would just pop up to help anytime anyone wanted to open their parasol or move their sun lounger. A true expert in customer experience!

A wonderful stay from start to finish. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort, with beautifully maintained surroundings, attentive yet unobtrusive staff, and an excellent all-inclusive experience. As a solo traveller, I felt completely at ease throughout my stay, and it was the perfect place to unwind. The food offered plenty of variety, the pools and facilities were immaculate, and the Wi-Fi was reliable enough for the occasional dip into work before heading straight back to the pool. A genuinely relaxing escape, and I wouldn't hesitate to return.

The resort was clean, especially considering its age. We chose to upgrade to the Privilege package for the all-inclusive food and beverages, but it came with more limitations and extra charges than we expected.
With the Privilege package, you can get beer and some lower-end wine between 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. You also get access to a very limited cocktail selection — only 12 total — and only at two bars. Cocktails are not included at the restaurants without additional charges, even if you purchased the Privilege package. Lots of “small print”.
Be very careful about hidden fees. When ordering from the menu, make sure there is “AI” written next to the item price, or you may be charged for it at checkout. Unfortunately, this is not always obvious at the time of ordering.
Also, room service is not included with Privilege. There is a $7 surcharge plus the menu item cost, and again, that may not become clear until checkout.
As for the atmosphere, this is a very sleepy resort with minimal and low-quality evening entertainment. There is no daytime music at the pool, activities are more along the lines of bingo, and the resort is a ghost town by 10:00 and everything is closed at 10:30pm.
I would recommend this resort more for guests 65+ who want a very quiet environment and are comfortable with stairs and longer walks.

Food was good always plenty to eat!
Only negatives was we had a late departure from the hotel 19.15pm but had to check out at 12 and all inclusive finished at 12 never had that before. Gym minimum age 16 couldn’t train with my 15yr old. No room available for late check out despite booking one early.

Just had a very enjoyable four night stay at the wonderful hotel, my first time here, though definitely won’t be my last. Service from everyone was fantastic, friendly and professional. Would especially like to mention Cora on reception who checked me in and then facilitated a room change on my second day and even arranged for all my possessions to be moved for me. I would highly recommend upgrading to Privilege all-inclusive, benefits include a private infinity pool and chill out lounge with complimentary free-serve bar, a second lounge next to the disco. Main advantage though is the dining; 4 à la carte restaurants for dinner, breakfast in Gaudi and lunch at Naturalia (the garlic prawns are a must have!). Dining at all was of the highest quality and really made for the best experience. Teppanyaki at Sakura on the last night was very entertaining, food was excellent and a great experience. Hotel has beautiful grounds and wonderful design. Room was very nice, clean and well appointed, about half a dizen usb charging points, well stocked and daily refreshed min fridge, nice Rituals products and daily turn down service with a couple of Lindt chocolates. Plenty of pools and lots of lounging areas, including Bali beds. Is on the edge of the resort, though is a very nice 15/20 minute stroll along the very nice and well maintained promenade to the bars and shops at Meloneras and the lighthouse. Just a few minutes past there is a lively sandy beach and the dunes which are worth a visit.

We are currently staying at the hotel and are really enjoying our stay! In particular, the pool service by Diego is outstanding, he is very attentive and friendly - preparing our sunbeds in advance, helping us move umbrellas and making sure we have everything we need :)
The rooms are spacious and very clean, also the whole facility is in pristine condition and one can really tell that the staff looks after everything in great detail.
The staff at the restaurant is also very friendly and helpful, remembering little details like our coffee order, making us feel at home and welcome.
We would have preferred if the evening card at the restaurant also included the options that one can have for lunch. We are not big meat/fish eaters, so we would have liked to be able to enjoy a club sandwich or sth similar down at the restaurant.
Overall great stay, highly recommend!

This hotel is just exceptional, every little detail! The rooms are huge, the sun loungers are perfect and comfy, the gym is one of the best hotel gyms I’ve been in, brand new equipment with plenty of space, including morning yoga classes! sometimes I find at 5 star hotels the staff aren’t always attentive but here they are just amazing, always making sure you’re okay but not around you all the time, small details like remembering your coffee order and topping up water when sunbathing it’s just so nice.

Special mention to all the housekeeping staff who keep the rooms spotless and leave them immaculate with bedtime treats. We were supposed to go to Abu Dhabi but came here instead because of what was going on in the world.
It's fair to say the UAE has some serious competition now as this place is hands down as good and luxurious as any hotel in dubai or Abu.Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back for sure very soon.

A superb hotel with wonderful staff. it is up a hill from the village of La Caletta but a 30 min walk gets you there (slow pace). A taxi will cost about €5-6 one way. There is a free shuttle bus for the evening.

We have had an amazing stay at Barceló Tenerife Royal Level. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding, with all staff being friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. The Royal Level experience made our holiday feel extra special, with exclusive areas that were peaceful, relaxing and never overcrowded.
The rooms were spacious, modern and impeccably clean, with housekeeping maintaining a very high standard throughout our stay. The food was excellent, offering plenty of variety at every meal, and the à la carte menus were a real highlight, providing delicious, high-quality dishes and a fantastic dining experience.
One of our favourite aspects of the Royal Level was the pool area. The Bali beds and thick, comfortable sun lounger mattresses made relaxing by the pool an absolute dream and added an extra touch of luxury to our stay.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning grounds, fantastic pools and a lovely atmosphere throughout. We couldn’t fault our experience and would highly recommend the Royal Level to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing holiday in Tenerife. We will definitely be returning!

The RL reception team was able To accommodate a room change for us which was very helpful.
Breakfast team are great, even when they run out of the amazing cookies they still managed to find us some and hand deliver to us around the pool.
RL pool is a lovely touch and worth the extra money. The bar staff and waiters the past week have been superb and gave us their full attention, never left without some sort of hydration ..... More than often a daiquiri or mojito !
The Weather has been hit and miss but they put on a candle making session which myself and my partner very much enjoyed !
Overall a great experience and once again we will look to come back next year.

This is now our 29th visit to Barceló Tenerife, and that alone says everything about how special this hotel is to us. Over the years it has become far more than just a holiday destination — it feels like a second home for our family.
My husband and I first started coming here years ago, and now I have the joy of bringing my daughter too, creating new memories together in a place we truly love. There is something so unique about this hotel that allows us to completely switch off from everyday life and fully relax, with our only real concern being what to enjoy for breakfast or dinner each day!
The atmosphere is peaceful, beautiful, and incredibly safe, which makes it the perfect place to unwind. The Royal Level experience is exceptional, especially the pool and bar area, where everything feels calm, luxurious, and perfectly designed for relaxation.
The food is another huge reason we continue to return year after year. Every restaurant is fantastic, and we have had delicious meals throughout the hotel — from the wonderful Italian food at La Dolce Vita to the lovely dining experience in the Royal Level restaurant.
Arrozante deserves a very special mention though. The specialty rice dishes are outstanding, and the Adrien Bosch Michelin-star menu currently offered on Saturdays was one of the most incredible dining experiences we have ever had. Every course was beautifully presented, creative, and absolutely delicious — a truly unforgettable evening.
What makes Barceló Tenerife so remarkable is the consistency. After 29 visits, the standards, service, warmth, and attention to detail remain exceptional. It is rare to find a place that continues to feel this special after so many years, but Barceló Tenerife always does.
Thank you to the entire team for giving our family so many wonderful memories over the years. We already cannot wait for visit number 30.

I don’t give 5 stars as the overall experience is very important to me from the moment of arrival, and unfortunately, this stay did not meet my expectations. I had booked the Royal Level experience, but upon arrival, there was no staff available to assist VIP guests at the dedicated desk. I ended up checking in at the regular desk like all other guests. This was one of the main reasons I chose this experience, but it was clearly not provided. Not even a glass of water was offered, and I had to handle all my luggage myself.
I stayed in a master suite, and for a 5-star hotel, the room maintenance could be improved. The taps required descaling, as black particles came from the bath faucet every time I tried to run it. Also big amount of small flies/insects inside bedrooms and seems there is a commun issue with the bedrooms.
This was reported to reception and housekeeping. While they cleaned it, the issue persisted, suggesting proper descaling had not been done.
The food in royal level restaurante was delicious, and every member of staff were marvelous.
The pool by the royal level is not that warm, there is a construction next to the hotel and when is windy all the dust flies to the royal level area.
Housekeeping team maintained the bedroom cleaned every day.
However, bedroom towels, robes, and pool towels need replacing, as many looked aged, ripped, or stained.

A very special thank you to Victoria, the Head of Guest Relations, who has gone above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail have been exceptional throughout and made such a difference to our experience.
We would also love to specially mention Kenny, the Royal Level barman, who has been fantastic — always friendly, welcoming, and making every visit feel special. Thank you as well to Jhon, who has been incredibly attentive throughout our stay, regularly checking on us around the pool and bringing drinks and snacks with such warmth and care.

We’ve been to Baobab 3 times now and it never disappoints. Staff team are great (particularly Dina who really went the extra mile for us) the breakfast is the best and the rooms are so well equipped, exceptionally clean and spacious. We love having our own suite with a pool and all the benefits of a 5* hotel. Lovely places to eat in nearby Caleta too.

Lovely hotel. Our suite was very comfortable with an indoor and outdoor sitting area. There was a very useful desk where one could do some work if needed. We had fresh flowers, fruit and wine as welcome and a very nice goodbye gift. The staff were very professional, smiling, super helpful about anything we needed. All in all a fantastic experience. We stayed at Baobab Suites for 5 nights with our 6-year-old daughter and unfortunately experienced several issues during the first part of our stay.
On our first night the heating in our room did not work, despite being assured at check-in that it would. The room became extremely cold and we had to contact reception late at night. We were informed the heating system needed to be manually activated by maintenance and were provided with a small portable heater, which was not sufficient to warm the room properly.
We also experienced issues with the pool temperature during our stay. As we were travelling with a child, access to a warm pool was something we were particularly looking forward to, however the main pools were very cold.
In addition, one evening the lifts serving our floor stopped working which meant we had to use the stairs to access our room. The situation was handled poorly and was quite unsettling for our daughter when the lift shaft was opened in front of us while it was out of service.
We spent a large portion of the first two days of our holiday trying to resolve these issues rather than enjoying the facilities.
After a lot of backwards and forwards, the Assistant Director did meet with us and offered a complimentary dinner as a goodwill gesture, which we appreciated. However, given the disruption to the start of our holiday, we did not feel this fully reflected the experience we had expected from a 5-star property.
The balcony had gaps either side which was a concern especially with having our 6 year old with us.
Baobab Suites itself is a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and great views, but unfortunately our experience was impacted by the issues mentioned above.

From the moment we arrived for our honeymoon the staff couldn't do enough for us. Including moving me to an apartment that was more wheelchair accessible the following morning. Both apartments were identical. We received a warm welcome (staff are all fluent in English). The bell boy DAVID, took our luggage up. Check in was seamless, and quick. In the apartment a bottle of champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries, a artisnal chocolate bar, water, an assortment of Teas, and a contemporary coffe machine. All this was refilled daily minus the champagne. The kitchen is "fully loaded" and had everything you could need, pots, pans, cutlery, gadgets (too many to count) even a grill to cook outside, iron, dishwasher and washing machine that we needed it, there were a couple of excellent restaurants in the complex, and even more a short walk away.
Inside the complex real thought has clearly gone into the menus at their restaurants to showcase the best of this islands regional produce, and we noticed a strong emphasise on organic produce. Some of which is even for sale as original souvenirs. The same went for the wines, with vanacular choices on offer.
The assistant manager of Reception Alain, was exceptional. Such a friendly and professional guy. He ĥelped us alot by making recommendations, booking taxis, I skipped breakfast once, he asked his staff to call up to our appartment to ask if I was OK, and if he could send me some food instead if I wasn't feeling well.
We've never rented apartments before, always picked to stay at a 5 star beach front on the island. I will never do that again. We found our happy place and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.
Our apartment was so cosy, with extra pillows, robes, and slippers. The daily house keeping to clean immaculately, and refill; fresh towels, all consumables in the kitchens and bathrooms. Nestled in a hillside, with a pretty much unobstructed view of the ocean on one side and the rolling hills on the other. It was situated less than a kilometre from the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. We didn't use the pools, the beach was so close. Hope you find this useful.

Can see why it’s part of Best hotels in the world! Rooms were lovely, food was out of the world and reasonably priced. Resturants were very good about serving wine by glass and not going for most expensive wine. everywhere was so lovely and clean. Stuff very friendly and professional. The flora it’s amazing the palms and everything.

• The staff (receptionists, housekeeping, bellhops, concierge) were incredibly warm, friendly and nothing was ever a bother.
• Huge range of dining options (though be sure to book)
• The hotel is a fun and picturesque collection of Portmeirion-style buildings as well as lots of pools, so it's got a grand higgeldy-piggeldy sort of vibe.
• Excellent spa - again, top service, lovely building, great saltwater pool with loads of features, none of which are on blessed timers. Shady or sunny loungers, big sauna and hamam. Much more peaceful than the main hotel.
Bad
• My worst experience was the beds - painfully hard and bruised my hips after 2 nights. I folded up a mattress protector into quarters (so was sleeping on 4 layers) and it barely helped.
• Tacky nightly "entertainment' between 21:30-22:30, cannot escape the karaoke-esque noise. One night ran until gone midnight.
• Service at the Japanese restaurant was appalling, dining by myself I was largely ignored and food was unbelievably slow.
• Poolside service was confusing. At a 5* hotel I expect to be greeted on arrival at a lounger with towels and also readily-available poolside food/drink service. At the main pool I had to hunt someone down to show me where the towels are kept and to adjust the shade for me. Put me off being by the pool.
• Breakfast is a circus - lots of people, noise and chaos, too many tables crammed in on the terrace like a cafeteria - I felt like cattle. The outside terrace is miles away from the buffet. I had an omelette and bacon, both tasteless. Coffee was good but the tea terrible. A bird of prey and its handler to deter pigeons is sorely needed.
• The rooms are noisy - bring ear plugs! As everything is tiled the hallways are super echoey, and people moving their chairs and furniture in rooms above and either side is *very* loud (felt pads on the chair feet would go a long way). In the bathrooms I can hear conversation. No hope against TVs and hairdryers. The doors within the rooms also slam, which doesn't help - nor are they solid but slatted. So there's very little sound barrier between you on the loo and the hallway, or your partner/family in the main room...
• Having booked, paid for and followed up on email a sea view, I was disappointed on arrival to find I could barely see the sea and most of my balcony view was the corner of a building. Moving room wasn't remotely a problem, though I did have to wait 2 nights.
Neutral but worth noting
• Staying in January I needed a little heater at night to warm up the room for an hour or so.
• There are complaints about the rooms being a bit worn but there are two types of 5* hotels - traditional maintained well and ultra-modern but characterless. This is the former.

absolutely amazing Hotel. The staff were just five star everywhere you went never seen so many staff for breakfast, the grounds are beautiful. The Italian design is amazing. Restaurants are brilliant. It’s even got a heli pad. one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Can’t wait to go back.

Honestly the experience started before we even got there. The staff were incredible in the lead-up - every question answered, restaurant reservations locked in, baby setup sorted without us having to think about it. You could already tell this place was going to be different.
When you book you have two options - main hotel or suites. If you're travelling as a family, do the suites. We had a baby and a five year old and it was perfect for us. Your own pool, massive bedroom, huge tub, proper living space, and everything you could possibly need for a baby already waiting when you arrive - change table, bottle warmer, all of it. The suites are slightly further from the main hotel but honestly who cares, there's a cart to shuttle you around and having your own setup is absolutely worth it.
The hotel itself is a fortress - in the best way. So much to explore, beautiful grounds everywhere you look. We lived at the suite breakfast spot and loved it - the main buffet is fine but gets a bit mad, the suite option is a much better vibe.
Rooms were spotless and cleaned twice a day which when you have little kids is genuinely appreciated. Fridge fully stocked with complimentary drinks and refreshed every day without asking. Little things that add up.
We ate at every restaurant on property and loved every single one. Staff were amazing across the board - so warm and brilliant with the kids. Little gifts kept showing up for the children throughout the stay which went down very well. Beach is super close and the cart means getting around is never a hassle.
Honest feedback for families: there's really only one dedicated kids pool and it's pretty small. The staff are wonderful with children but structured kids activities are fairly limited. The crowd skews older and more relaxed - which we actually liked, but worth knowing if you're expecting a lively family resort scene.
Overall - exceptional. Would go back in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone.

I don't usually write reviews, limiting myself to star ratings and a brief comment, but I'll make an exception this time. The reason is simple: my wife and I really loved this hotel. We traveled with our 2.5-year-old child and stayed for a week, then extended our stay for two more nights. I'll say right away that those who only like new hotels can stop reading, as this hotel isn't new and needs some renovations. However, older hotels are often located in the best locations and have the best landscaping, and older luxury hotels gain charm with age thanks to their natural materials. Here are my arguments point by point:
1. Grounds and location. The park blends beautifully into the landscape, there are numerous swimming pools, and it's just steps from one of the best beaches in Tenerife. You can always call a buggy to take you to various spots on this rather large property.
2. Building. The hotel's architecture requires a separate description. In our opinion, everything is very unusual and interesting. It's better to look at the photos on the website.
3. Restaurants. The breakfast was excellent. Our son had oatmeal made especially for him every morning. The restaurants were quite satisfactory. We tried all of them except the Japanese one. The wine selection was excellent. The only disappointment was the Italian one. I'd highlight the lunches with a beautiful view at the Beach Club and the dinners at Upa Lupa (the most affordable of all). Importantly, they prepared simple dishes for my son according to our orders at all places.
4. Service. To say it was excellent is an understatement. I haven't met such wonderful and caring people in a long time. Javier, Luis, Silvia, Paul, and Yara have become our son's friends.
5. Vacationers. We found the perfect balance between parents with children and older couples. Teenagers would probably get bored at this hotel.
In conclusion, we found the perfect hotel in Tenerife.

This place is true luxury. I had 10 nights in a deluxe 2 bedroom suite with private pool and ocean view. It was really spacious and had really good amenities like dishwasher, washing machine (with tablets supplied), comfortable seating inside and out, decent fridge freezer etc.
the ocean view terrace was really amply sized with comfortable seating for dining, relaxing and sun bathing. The pool was a great size and lovely and clean.
There were plenty of beds available around the pools and the pool-side service was fantastic from the friendly staff to the complimentary sun cream, glasses wipes and iced water. Great views of the ocean from the pools.
The hotel is massive - great for a base for walking or running.
We ate in the Italian restaurant once and it was great but generally preferred to walk to the village of Caleta which is 5 to 10 minutes away.

We stayed in a villa within the Corales suites complex. I couldn’t recommend it enough, it had its own pool and sun loungers, you could order room service including cocktails to the pool. The staff were amazing and really went out of their way to make an amazing experience, a special thanks to the manager Andrea who really looked after us. The main pool area is lovely, very family friendly. For us we were a couple without kids and the pool at our villa was so nice we mostly stayed there. We would return here in a heartbeat.

Beautiful location, lovely to walk up and down the coast with plenty of great restaurants and bars. suite was nice, with amazing balcony and views - only comments would be we were surprised there was no welcome provisions (water, biscuits, maybe even some wine!), unusual in a 5 star hotel. The door to our room was also very heavy and hard to open to get the pushchair through. Breakfast was delicious, great selection.

Special thanks to Emily at the kids club - we had three girls go every day for 4 hours and then Emily held games in the pool in the afternoon. Our girls loved her and it really made our holiday as we had so much time at the amazing adults only pool on the roof.
Our room was huge and stunning. Housekeeping was great.
The small heated pool by the main pool (both for families) was so useful as kids could play for hours.
The downside was the restaurants. La trattoria was amazing food but average service and they only seem to have a few tables so it’s hard to book. Starfish was crowded with average service. Despite asking for a menu with allergen information twice (as my husband has a very serious nut allergy) he was told the waiter would inform him of what he could eat. We did exactly that and he was still served a salad covered in nuts.
The breakfast buffet was amazing but there was no allergen information. Luckily the breakfast staff were great and the manager had printed the allergen information on a sheet for us by our second morning.
Another negative is the very slippy tiles around the pool - our kids and many other kids had falls.
We had a wonderful trip, just the restaurants that stop us giving 5 stars. But there are more options to eat at the hotel if you don’t have kids, plus lots of restaurants nearby.

A fantastic stay as ever. The hotel is luxurious and all the staff are friendly and efficient. This time we went to celebrate a big birthday and we were treated like VIPs. We booked the In Suite Cocktail Experience which was amazing and Camillo and Francesco were professional and entertaining. Also Justyna at Breakfast deserves a special mention. She’s so lovely. They told us they love what they do and that was evident.
