Unfortunately our experience was very low compared with many previous visits to Cancun-Hotel Zone and staying at similar class/level hotels in the same area. You will enjoy a beautiful beach and nice swimming pools here, but get used to do very long lines to get food and drinks at bars, even over 15 min waiting lines to get into the breakfast buffet, then another line inside the buffet to get eggs/omelettes. Very low quality drinks/coktails prob the lowest I’ve ever seen in many countries, including Cuba. You need to do upgrade$$ in your stay to get access to all the good restaurants, even the restaurants that are included and you book for, you need to pay extra for regular wine or upgraded drinks. You need to pay a deposit for one lock to use your room lock box. There is no hot tub/jacuzzi at the hotel included in your stay. You also need to pay to get access to one, as many other things you take for granted like beds near the pool and beach or just for using the tennis court. Seriously, you need to pay extra for. Upgrade prices are not reasonable either. There is evidently lack of staff for the size of the hotel and to service the capacity of people/rooms they have. We have to make 2 requests and wait 3 days to get our room serviced. We were expecting a better experience when choosing Grand Oasis Cancún for our 7-nights all-inclusive stay, but it end up being a downgrade this time visiting Mexico. We are a couple, no kids, no picky about food, easy going and did not expect a major service, but a smaller hotel at similar or lower price will likely give you a better experience and higher quality service.

Location is in the middle of the hotel zone. So no shops in easily walkable distance. I recommend the jet skis tours across from the hotel. Was a lot of fun.

Our recent stay at the Grand Oasis Cancun was the dream of tropical getaway, designed for total relaxation and the seamless enjoyment of the Caribbean lifestyle.
This resort sets a vibrant scene, the true standout feature was the culinary experience. The all-inclusive dining was a true highlight a symphony of flavors where the chefs served up international cuisine ever. Every buffet and specialty restaurant offered a delightful indulgence, earning a resounding "hmm yummy" with every plate.
Beyond the dining, the resort excelled in comfort and service; our room was spacious, the variety of on-site activities was great, and the overall maintenance was well-handled. While housekeeping was scheduled for efficiency, servicing the rooms every other day, the quality of attention was always high. Considering the incredible value, the stunning setting, and the memorable dining, I confidently give the Grand Oasis Cancun 4 stars across the board. This resort offers a truly wonderful experience, and without a doubt, I would eagerly choose to come again to fully live that tropical lifestyle.

My husband and I visited over the Thanksgiving holiday and we were beyond disappointed from the initial arrival waiting 3 1/2 hours just to get our wristbands to check into the hotel. The line and process was frustrating and unreal. Since everyone arrived at the same time and checked in at the same time, the lines all flooded to the buffet where people are obviously hungry 30+ wait to eat only to discover the food was mediocre no taste very disappointed no true protein items. Lots of guest said the same thing so they would not be returning. luckily we ordered Uber eats. Not ideal for an all inclusive resort, but we were very satisfied with the items we had ordered from an outside restaurant. The only thing you have to go outside to get your food. They don’t allow Ubers or Uber eats to come into the resort. We finally discovered if you buy a Bali cabana you get a little bit of an upgrade for food and drink service so we did that and that was nice to have some fast service. Also, all the alcohol is very low quality, bottom shelf vodka and tequila. The staff was friendly, but I would not recommend coming back. It’s a beautiful resort right off the beach, huge swimming pool for the kids And music throughout the day which was nice but the food itself was horrible and the rooms need upgrades my husband suffered from really bad back pain from the broken bed we had and ended up having to get a Massage at bamboo spa down the street (they’re phenomenal) We didn’t feel we should pay any more money to the hotel and get more failed services there. They had beautiful peacocks roaming that was the highlight of my Thanksgiving.

I’ve stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, but this was by far the worst experience ever. The entire place is pure chaos and absolutely not suitable for anyone who expects peace, comfort, or even basic respect.
Children are running and playing inside the restaurants, throwing food around and disturbing everyone. Parents don’t care, and staff never says a word about it. Having a normal, quiet meal was impossible.
The pool area is no better: sunbeds are reserved early in the morning with towels, and then people disappear for hours, while the hotel does nothing about it. As a result, most guests end up without a place to sit.
The atmosphere around the pools is honestly disgusting. People are vomiting right next to others, and no staff reacts quickly or keeps any kind of supervision. This should NEVER happen in any resort.
At night and early in the morning there is constant noise in the hallways. Doors slamming, people shouting, kids running around… getting a proper night’s sleep just doesn’t exist here.
Management does nothing: no supervision, no rules, no control. Everything feels neglected and unorganized. The all-inclusive food and drinks are below average, the staff seems uninterested, and hygiene clearly isn’t a priority.
In short:
This resort is an absolute no-go.
If you expect respect, peace, hygiene, and normal behavior, do NOT book here. I will never return

Our first time at The Fives Oceanfront in Puerto Morelos, and up to now it has been a very positive and enjoyable experience. At the reception, Lilia greeted us as we were family and coordinated our check-in and orientation at the hotel in a timely fashion. Then we met Yoe at the reception of the RoMarley restaurant. She always has a smile and helps us with our requests for seating. Up to now the servers at all three locations where food is served are all courteous and are always willing to make our meals a pleasurable experience. Thank you Jesus, Advel, Gabriel, Elvis, Giovanni, Antonio , Karla and all the others who help them.
I was able to thank Perro, one the chefs and complimented on the quality, flavor and presentation of every meal we have had up to now, a real culinary experience. Managers Joseph and Luis are working alongside the staff to help the guests to have an enjoyable meal.
Gustavo, the animation coordinator, is a gentleman. Some activities that we attended like the culinary session, bracelet weaving, candle making are ways for us to enjoy and discover some treasures of Mexico.
I am sorry that I cannot name all of the team members who work very hard to make our stay memorable. Thank you to all of you, housekeeping, bartenders, the 3 persons cleaning the beach, the greeters and all other staff members for delivering such wonderful services to us and all the guests.

Location was perfection. Atmosphere of the resort was calm and peaceful yet fun and vibrant. The rooms were beautiful and always clean and stocked. I do believe the value of the hotel and its experiences is consistent with the price. Noise level was not a problem, could always hear the waves at night especially. Service was IMPECCABLE, no notes. Candy and Gabbie rocked. The amenities were also very nice and we used them, the hot tub being our favorite!

We had an amazing stay at The Fives Oceanfront! The atmosphere is gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful, and the whole property has such a relaxing, upscale vibe. Our group of 11 traveled together, and every single person loved it.
The restaurants were fun and delicious—although only two were open during our stay, so meals felt a bit repetitive by the end. Thankfully, the town right outside the resort is incredible, with tons of great food and things to explore.
The absolute stars of our experience were Hair (server), Hugo, Victor the bartender, and Gabriela. They truly made our trip unforgettable with their kindness, energy, and exceptional service.
As for booking a large group, it was effortless and completely stress-free, which I really appreciated.
Overall, we loved our time here and would absolutely recommend it!

From start to end The Fives Oceanfront team were so professional, supportive and made our honeymoon stay one to truly remember. We had the all-inclusive option.
The room was spacious, clean and perfect for our stay with a private balcony. The cleaning service is great and can be daily for a change of towels and bedding.
The Ro Marley Beach House was the best and served unique breakfast and lunch dishes with a Carribbean twist. The dinner served had a variety of options including Italian style cuisines, a choice of sushi or Ro Marley's Carribbean cuisine. Everything was served fresh to order with a great selection of alcoholic drinks. Many all inclusive hotels I have stayed previously make the mistake of serving food in a buffet style which causes cross contamination and consequently spreads sickness among the stayers. The Fives Oceanfront did this right!
A special shout-out to the servers Yoe, Abraham, Gabriel, Hair, Elvis, Luciano, Antonio (and all of them I have failed to mention) for being so attentive when taking food orders and serving drinks and personable with humour and our bad attempts at speaking Spanish.
I think it is worth exploring various options for exploring outside of Puerto Morelos. As the town is around 30-40mins south of Cancun. I found it cheaper to source my own taxi service by arranging separately. Also, close to Puerto Morelos town are excursion providers to Chichen-Itza as well as Tulum-Coba, Isla Mujeres and other spots for affordable all-day trips. The hotel does offer excursions and activities for those who prefer in-house service.
The hotel is quiet from after 11pm as there is no late night drinks service. This was perfect for us jetlagged travellers to catch up on our sleep.
I can only commend The Fives Oceanfront team and staying at this wonderful hotel. Me and my wife have never felt so relaxed and destressed from the hustle and bustle of our city lives. We were provided with such a high quality of customer service during our honeymoon.
We recommend for an amazing stay.

We enjoyed and relaxed on our 10 night stay in part thanks to the calm and tranquil ambiance of this luxury boutique hotel. The food was delicious, staff courteous and helpful. Restaurants, lobby, beach, pools and our room were clean and comfortable. What we enjoyed the most of our vacation were the activities of Gustavo’s. His programs are fun and relaxing. Gustavo taught us local crafts and shared a group culinary experience all while teaching us about Mexican culture. We enjoyed our activities and our stay. We are looking forward to returning next year and do Gustavo’s activity program again

As many reviewers have mentioned… it’s all true. To be honest, this feels more like a 2-star hotel.
Food: Not great. Long lineups, the reservation app is frustrating and always full. We’re in Cancun and still haven’t had a decent taco, burrito, or quesadilla. Not many dining options at all.. other than buffet and a few restaurants, you will need to pay around $30 USD but the food is not good…
Drinks: Probably the best part!! truly all-inclusive and consistently available. However, in some restaurant, a tall can of beer like Sapporo is $15 USD.
Wifi: Free and not bad at all
Rooms: Outdated. The TV has no Netflix or streaming options, and the picture quality has visible lines, almost like it was recorded on another device. The tap water has a noticeable smell. However, the hot water and AC both worked well. My shower kept going hot–cold every 5 seconds
Housekeeping: We had 5 rooms, and some had good housekeeping while others didn’t. One of our rooms had poop all over the place when we came back from lunch… housekeeping did come and clean it, but they were laughing, which felt really unprofessional and uncomfortable.
Pools: Pretty nice.
Beach: Not bad! shallow, sandy, and enjoyable.
Entertainment/Noise: And yes, as others have mentioned, some nights the shows went on past 11pm. very loud and definitely not ideal if you have kids trying to sleep.
Pirate Ship Excursion: It was good at first, but the whole experience lasted almost 4 hours .. extremely long and honestly a bit boring by the end. The food was only okay, especially considering we paid about $90 USD for the steak dinner for two, plus a $20 USD docking fee per person for the evening cruise.
Overall: If I arrived expecting a 2-star resort, I’d probably rate it 5 stars. But as a hotel marketed as 4 stars, it doesn’t meet that standard. Also, this trip was not cheap at all… costly somewhat.
Tip: At the beach, tip a server or waitress !! they’ll take great care of you and you won’t have to get up much, haha.

I stayed at this resort from November 21–27 to celebrate my birthday with my wife and kids. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. There wasn’t a warm or welcoming feeling upon arrival, and the check-in process was slow and unorganized. We waited a long time for our luggage, which prevented us from enjoying the pool and ocean on our first afternoon. Communication was also difficult, as many staff members spoke very limited English, so if you don’t speak much Spanish, you may run into challenges.
The elevators are very small, so keep that in mind if you’re traveling with strollers—it can get tight quickly.
The beaches were disappointing. Each morning, there was leftover trash from the night before—cigarette butts, plastic cups, beer bottles—and the area didn’t seem to be cleaned or refreshed. The beach and pool chairs also appeared to be left exactly where guests had moved them the previous day.
The pools were quite cold, which made it uncomfortable to swim, especially for younger kids; even my two-year-old kept saying the water was too cold.
Staffing also seemed to be an ongoing issue. Bars and coffee shops were consistently understaffed, resulting in long lines—not something you want to deal with while on vacation.
The food was another major disappointment. The food halls offered very limited quality, and we struggled to find meals we enjoyed. For breakfast, we ended up paying extra to eat at a separate restaurant—one we technically didn’t have access to—just to start our mornings with a decent meal.
I’ve stayed at many all-inclusive resorts throughout the Caribbean and several others in Cancun and Playa del Carmen, and this was by far the most underwhelming experience. While a few of the specialty restaurants served meals we did enjoy, there were still long lines for lunch and dinner at most places.
Overall, I would not recommend this resort, particularly for families with young children. Do yourself a favor and consider other options.

I don't know if the Grand Oasis Palm had changed management or not, but the quality of the facilities, the # of staff, the % of operation in the restaurants and the food quality is awful. It has gone down significantly compared to when I was there years ago. For example, 2 times today when I went to the towel station to get towels, they ran out and said it will take 10 minutes to wash. The food at the buffet lines were unappetizing with 2 to 3 star restaurant quality and we had to wait 30-40 minutes outside for the Hacienda buffet line only to eat gummy pasta, diluted cheese liquid, and stale chicken nuggets. In our room, there is mold/mildew in the shower, the shower fixture are rusted, the drain was clogged and drain plate was not secured. We paid $299 per night for this hotel and it is completely NOT worth it. In our room, even though the window is closed, wind is seeping through the old window panels and making a loud howling sound. We called the operator and they sent a worker up who tore up little pieces of towel and stuffed it into the gaps in this old window frame. When we ordered strawberry daiquiri at the bar today, there were 15 people ahead of us and 1 guy tending the bar. We went to the pizza place for lunch, we waited 25 minutes in line, and another 40 minutes for the pizza to come out because only 1 oven was in operation, the staff were angry, the hostess was cold and I believe the workers are in a bad mood and providing horrible service because they are understaffed. We feel like we got scammed because the online reviews and images looked like a 4-5 star hotel whereas our experience is like a 2-3 star hotel especially when we are paying almost $300/night in Mexico during the off season in November. We highly do NOT recommend this hotel and are extremely disappointed with our stay. In the kid zone, they have a tall water slide but we were told that it is only open 10 minutes daily and only available to kids that sign up for the kids drop off program. We asked about the free kayaks and other items we read about and they said that it used to be available but no longer available anymore. It seems like management changed. Things just don't add up. How can a hotel charge so much money for such a run down experience? This is our second night here and from 9pm to midnight, they've concerts blasting outdoors and this is a family resort. How odd.

We stayed at the Grand Oasis Palm as a group of nine (two families of four plus a single), and while a couple of staff members at the sister resort were fantastic, the overall experience at this resort was disappointing.
Rooms & Reservation Issues
Rooms were extremely small and nothing like the photos online. Out of our three rooms, one never had hot water. When we asked about upgrading—fully willing to pay the difference—we were told it wasn’t possible because we hadn’t originally booked two separate reservations. There was also very limited seating around the pool, and no covered indoor area with tables/chairs to relax in, which was a problem during the first rainy days.
Food, Drinks & Service
Lines for food and drinks took far too long, and the drinks were wildly inconsistent from bar to bar. One night in the sports bar, the bartender took only half of our group’s order and then simply moved on mid-order. As English-speaking guests, we often felt overlooked compared to Spanish-speaking guests. The sports-bar arcade was mostly non-functional, with many games turned off or broken.
Beach & Grounds
One day someone pooped in the ocean, and it floated near the shore. Also, buses physically cannot fit onto the property, so drop-off and pickup happen on the street, not at the entrance, which isn’t ideal when arriving with luggage or kids.
Positives
Adult-sized towels were a nice touch, and at the sister resort Sens, Adrian at the bar and Hervin on the beach were absolutely outstanding—genuine highlights of our trip.
Overall
Too many issues to recommend. While the staff at the Sens property were amazing, the Grand Oasis Palm needs major improvements in room quality, service consistency, and basic guest comfort.

My family and I recently visited Cancun, Mexico, and stayed at this resort. I’ve been to Cancun before and had great experiences, but this stay was completely different—in the worst way.
The service throughout the resort felt noticeably off, and there was an uncomfortable tone toward guests of African-American descent. The constant staring became intrusive, and despite trying to ignore it, it happened every single day. If you don’t speak much Spanish, they immediately recognize you as a tourist and become visibly dismissive. To make matters worse, a few individuals touched my daughter’s and wife’s hair without consent, which is absolutely unacceptable.
The pool was extremely cold—so cold that my family and I couldn’t enjoy it without worrying about getting sick. For the price we paid for an “all-inclusive” experience, the food was very disappointing. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were poorly seasoned, and at times it felt like meals were pre-cooked and reheated.
The hotel rooms were outdated, had a noticeable moldy smell, and did not match the upscale appearance advertised online. Upon checkout, the front desk attempted to charge us again for a beach cabana we had already paid for. Thankfully, we had the receipt to prove it—so I highly recommend keeping all receipts. Additionally, be cautious with currency exchanges. Without a converter app or familiarity with their currency, it’s easy to be overcharged or shorted. Fortunately, my wife and I were paying close attention.
Overall, this trip was far from what we expected. On a previous visit to Cancun, we stayed at Hotel NYX and had a phenomenal experience. We chose this resort because we needed a family-friendly option—but this stay was a major disappointment. I will not be returning.

Even though parts of the hotel were under construction during our stay, it still exceeded our expectations. The food was fantastic—especially the à la carte restaurants, which are an absolute must-try. The sports bar had a great vibe, and our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed.
What truly made our stay unforgettable was the phenomenal staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel spoiled and well taken care of. I even proposed to my girlfriend during our stay, and the hotel team helped me tremendously with the decorations and setup. Their support made the moment absolutely perfect.
All in all, an amazing hotel with even better service. We would gladly come back!

This was our first time choosing this hotel through Sunrise, and it turned out to be a great experience. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, and the garden is truly unique—you can even see animals like deer, raccoons, and chameleons around the property.
There is a dedicated kids’ pool and several waterslides for adults. Most of the pools also have shallow areas for children, which is really convenient for families.
At the end of the garden, there’s a bar and a fast-food area by the ponds, where you can enjoy drinks or snacks while dancing in the water to the music.
The hotel has four restaurants that require reservations in advance. The food was generally good. Just keep in mind that some restaurants have a dress code, so you’ll need to bring appropriate clothing with you.
There are nightly shows, including Mexican dance performances, held either in the theater or outdoors.
They also offer spa services and photography, though we didn’t use them ourselves.

We just got back from vacation after staying here, at the newly renovated grand sunset princess & we absolutely loved it.
I was super worried about the food, because i'm a foodie, I love to eat & most all inclusive hotels dont have the best food, but to my surprise, the food here was absolutely delicious! Everyday the buffet had different options and it was seriously so good, a lot of stations where they cook hot food for you. I was never hungry, breakfast was great, for lunch we went to the snack bar which had fast food options & tacos which were delicious. For dinner there are 5 newly renovated restaurants which were pretty good but if we were still hungry, we went to the buffet which has delicious food.
We stayed at a platinum room which is soooo worth it. The balcony jaccuzzi was brand new & it was so nice to enjoy it while it rained and there was not much to do during the rain.
Everyone was so nice, the rooms were nice, the resort itself is beautiful, it's massive so lots of walking but I love to get my steps in, so to me thats a huge plus! I was doing about 10-15k steps a day here!
The beach has palms trees everywhere which is stunning.
I'd love to come back, to me the food is the most important part. If a resort is nice but the food is ehh, it ruins the entire experience for me. So the fact that the food was good made me happy daily here.
We traveled with kids & I would say it's kid friendly as well!

I’m staying at the Grand Princess Sunset Resort for the first time, and after a few days here, I’m really happy with my experience. The resort has a great atmosphere and plenty of activities to enjoy. Although I wish there were a bit more nightlife options, like a disco or club, the day entertainment is still fun and lively.
I also love that there are so many classes available! I’ve taken yoga and tennis so far, and I want to give a special shoutout to Jose Alfredo Alvarez. I took my very first tennis lesson with him, and I was amazed — by the end of the class, I was already able to correct my stance and return the ball confidently! Jose is an excellent instructor — patient, positive, and truly passionate about teaching.
Thanks to him, I’ve completely fallen in love with tennis! 🎾

⭐ Detailed Resort Review
We were really looking forward to this trip after seeing the resort advertised and rated as a 5-star property, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite match the expectations.
Check-in/Wristband Issue:
Right from the start, we were given the wrong color wristbands. It seems like a small thing, but it ended up causing confusion and made it clear that communication and organization were going to be a challenge throughout the stay.
Beach & Resort Grounds:
The beach was never fully cleaned the entire time we were there. There was one single staff member doing his best, but it’s a huge stretch of shoreline and impossible for one person to maintain. The seaweed and debris just kept piling up day after day, which made it hard to enjoy the beach.
Dining & Reservations:
Their reservation system was completely down, so every night was a gamble trying to get dinner.
We waited in long lines just to be told that they couldn’t accommodate everyone. Even the buffet reached capacity, so despite being all-inclusive, sometimes getting a meal wasn’t guaranteed. This became one of the most frustrating parts of the trip.
Room Quality:
Our room was definitely in need of an update. Several fixtures were rusted or falling apart, and the overall condition didn’t reflect a resort that claims a 5-star rating. We still made the most of it, but it lacked the comfort and polish we expected.
Bars & Weather Limitations:
The staff at the bars and restaurants were truly the highlight — kind, hard-working, and trying to keep morale up despite the system issues.
However, if it rains, the only indoor bar option is the sports bar, which quickly turns into a packed space full of kids and guests trying to escape the weather. There just aren’t enough indoor areas for people to go.
⭐ Overall Rating: 3.5 — maybe a low 4 ⭐
We don’t want to discourage travel, but want future guests to be aware of the disconnect between the advertised 5-star level and the current reality. The staff really does the best they can, but the resort needs more support, better maintenance, and improved systems to offer the experience they’re promising.
Would we return? At this point, probably not. But with the right improvements, it has the potential to be a wonderful vacation spot.

The hotel looked lovely in the lobby but we were ambushed by reps selling timeshares and covering the timeshare under the pretense of a free gift for my birthday to get us to the sales presentation we were hounded by the reps the whole time we were there.
The hotel was advertised as 5 stars but this was definitely not the case air con not working, tiles missing of the bathrooms, decor was dated and rundown, no towels in the room and no replacements when they were asked for.
Queues for every restaurant at least an hour each time we ate. Food was average and disappointing in most of the restaurants. Fully inclusive but with a lot of catches we would not stay at The Sens again.
The beach was clean and well maintained but was full of sales people all the time selling their wares.
Loads of building work all day and late into the evenings everyday of our stay.
Disappointing is how I would describe the hotel and it's services a shame really as Cancun as a destination is beautiful.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The food was excellent with plenty of variety every day, and our room was cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. The staff were always friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
The beach nearby was absolutely beautiful, and we also had access to the hotel next door, which was a nice bonus.
The only downsides were that the hotel could use some renovation, and there wasn’t much evening entertainment by the pool. Apart from that, everything was great, and we really enjoyed our stay!

Been here for a day. I already feel I've wasted my money but will make the best of it. Brought the family for the first time. Get to the beach early if you want chairs. No music at the beach or pool. Nobody barely speaks English. They give you an app to figure out where everything is. Everyone wants to sell you something every 2 min. Can't control the weather but the forecast is rain for the next 4 days. Not a good start to the trip. The air Canada rep made me wait for an hour and hasn't shown up to make sure we have transportation back to the airport. Still an unknown? Unless things change i will never come back again. Very disappointed so far. Oh also no balcony to wake up and have a coffee on.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
We arrived at night after an exhausting long flight with a small child in our arms. Everything was prepaid. At the reception they simply told us that “all rooms are occupied” and there was no space for us. Whaaat? We’ve paid for our stay!!!
They didn’t care at all that we were with a child — no empathy, no assistance, nothing. They just told us to drive to another hotel 20 minutes away, even though we had paid for THIS one.
When we finally got a room after “fighting” with manager on front desk…the wind noise inside was unbearable — impossible to sleep. When I went to reception to ask for basic ear plugs, they didn’t even listen. They brushed me off and sent me to a pharmacy.
Zero service on front desk, zero humanity. And the way they ignored us while we were holding a small child was disgusting.

We had an amazing week at the Hyatt Vivid. It was our first time visiting the resort and we could not have picked a better week. The first week of December the weather was in the 80’s all week. Once we arrived, we upgraded our room to the Ocean View swim out. It was well worth the upgrade. Having access to the beach directly from the room, your own private swim area, and a butler. We had a butler named Mario and his service was incredible. He made sure that all of our needs were met daily but was not over bearing. He took care of our daily dinner reservations and had a daily visit to make sure we didn’t have any additional needs. He made sure that we had a relaxing vacation with no worries of anything. We plan to visit the Hyatt in the Spring and will request the same room with Mario as our butler. This was an unforgettable experience.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt vivid! The food was pretty good and they have lots of options. Love the walk-up food by the pool and the buffet is good too. My favorite restaurant on site was the Greek one and Asiana, so yummy. Pelícanos was great too. Loved this resorts pool and quite pool option. The entertainment team did a great job! Drink service was usually pretty quick and quite a few staff members taking orders around the pool, too. I got a free 5 minute neck massage by the pool and they offered me a special spa package price. Definitely recommend getting a spa package this way.

Went for our annual girls trip. Our experience was amazing! All the staff were incredibly kind, accommodating, and genuinely cared about everyone having a great time. The resort is beautiful, service was superb, entertainment was amazing, and the entertainment team was energetic, friendly and welcoming! We absolutely loved Aranza and Aaron! So many fun activities going on there was really no need to leave the resort. We also enjoyed some amazing massages and facials in the spa. Miley in the spa was top notch! Nothing but great things to say about this resort.

The hotel has a great location, only 2min walk to 5th avenue where all the restaurants and stores are. The service was amazing with every detail thought of. They have a la carte and buffet options for breakfast, dinner and lunch. In the spa we got a massage from Iliana and Flor which where amazing and the hydrotherapy installations where included as well. The dry and wet saunas are very clean and nice. Will definitely come back for another couple trip.

Check in and out with sweet Yadina was welcoming.
The staff at the pool- so friendly and accommodating. Francisco made it a point to greet us by name and with a smile each day. Manuel and Rodolfo took such great care of us poolside. Polux was so genuine and kind, these guys left a lasting impression!
We personally found the food lacking, could definitely use some improvement.
Overall, a beautiful resort to spend a wonderful vacation.

My family and I stayed at the Pyramid for 5 days and 4 nights.
Pros:
1. Access to beach was easy. Beach was beautiful.
2. Pools are great. Good for kids of all ages. They have a wading pool for toddlers or kids that are still learning how to swim and deeper ends for older kids.
3. Good selection of restaurants (hard to get reservation though). Plenty of food options to try and multiple cuisines.
4. Staff were friendly and hard working.
Cons:
1. The rooms are outdated but more importantly they smell musty. When our concerns were brought to staff, their solution was to spray Febreeze like fragrance which only masked the issue and not address the underlying concern.
2. Bathrooms were not clean. On one day in particular, there was fecal matter on the bathroom floor. The issue was brought to the staffs attention and to my dismay it was still there when I went to use the restroom again later during the day.
3. Buffet options are limited in food.
4. Beach chairs are limited. For the amount of guests that stayed when we were there, more beach chairs should've been available.
Ultimately, I do not plan on returning to The Pyramid Cancun with my family due to these reasons. I sincerely hope that changes are made, especially on the cleanliness of the facilities as well as the outdated rooms and it's weird smell.

I travelled to this resort with my two children, ages 13 and 10. When we arrived after travelling all day, the check in desk was closed. We proceeded to go to the check out desk and stood there for 20 minutes without being acknowledged. We were than told, we were at the wrong desk and directed to another desk. When we checked in, the rules of the resort were not explained to us. We knew to make sure to keep the room clean and understand the rules from staying at previous hotels about damage deposit fees. We paid the resort fees, and the lady told us to proceed to our room. It is a big resort; all she told us was to go out the doors and take a left. We were lost, so we asked a worker for help. He helped us to our building, but it was like a 5 minutes’ walk. There’s no way we would’ve found it on our own.
The first day while walking around, we did notice we were stared at a lot. We are covered as we are a Muslim family, so we understand we stick out. Its ok, maybe its not common for these places to have different types of families so we ignored it as much as we could. We were on vacation and were trying to not let it get to us too much. One of the days, we had brought back a drink, and it had spilled. We tried to call concierge to tell them about it, so they can get someone to clean it. I didn’t want it to damage the ground. No one answered at concierge, as the room doesn’t have paper towels we used a towel.
The next morning, I received a letter saying that I needed to contact concierge. They proceeded to tell me that housekeeping had found that I had stained 2 towels and must pay to replace the towels. The charge would be $28USD/towel. I proceeded to tell them that I was not told about covering any costs as it’s a resort and they must deal with stains all the time. They told me to come to the desk to talk to them and then advised I talk to the manager the next day as she will be in. During this time, housekeeping stopped coming to the room. They said I had to pay the balance as soon as possible and not at the end of the stay. The discount they had offered me was 460pesos which I paid for that night, because I got several calls to my room harassing me about this pending payment. I’m disappointed that happened, I did inform them due to this I will not be able to tip the housekeeper at the end of my stay because of the circumstances.
For a resort with an amazing pool, I was hoping to spend most of my time at the beach and the pool. During the stay we went to the pool twice and the beach 3 times. We felt uncomfortable because the staring was getting to us. So much that when we would walk by a group of people, they would stop talking and all turn and look at us. We didn’t bother other people, just kept to ourselves and did our own thing.
I had scheduled two excursions during the trip and our stay was for 10 days. We did the second excursion on Tuesday and were leaving the Friday after. The remaining days (Wed, Thurs, and Fri) we did not leave our hotel room, except to eat. We were done with the stay and wanted to return home. I was excited to go on this trip as I’m a single mother. Saving up for this trip was a lot of work and I felt we all deserved this trip to relax. Due to the trauma from this experience, we will not be returning to Cancun. I hope others have better experiences than this and are taken care of better than we were. Save yourself the grief and do not stay at this resort.

I travel a lot, maybe 60-90 nights a year in a hotel or resort and I’ll have to say this resort is the worst I have ever experienced. Booked a double bed room, received a single bed, was told they didn’t have any other rooms and is based on availability. They said they could accommodate with sending a twin bed. They sent one and left it outside our room with stains all over it. They didn’t even bother setting it up or sending additional bedding. It didn’t even fit in our room. Then the worst part of it all was that for the 4 days we were there we could not get reservation in any of the restaurants, for the first time in my life I had to uber eats food everyday at an all-inclusive resort. None of the customer service folks had any empathy or care to help us. Also everything shuts down at 10-11pm. There are soo many better options in the area, stay away from this place, looks good in pictures, but is a miserable place to stay.

Disappointing stay – would not recommend
We stayed here for two weeks and paid €1500 per person, but it was absolutely not worth the money. The hotel calls itself “all inclusive”, yet in some restaurants you still have to pay for your drinks. For the better restaurants you need to book in advance, but for three days in a row we couldn’t get a reservation anywhere because everything was fully booked.
Customer service was also very disappointing. A misunderstanding about a reservation — which we had already sorted out — was brought back up again as if we had done something wrong. They asked us to show proof of cancellation, and there was even talk of checking security camera footage, which felt intimidating.
At check-out, we found out the issue still hadn’t been communicated internally. Instead of the lobby simply calling the concierge, we had to walk all the way back to our own building to tell him again that the issue was already solved. That’s a seven-minute walk there and seven minutes back in the heat, all because they didn’t pass on the information. For such a big and supposedly luxurious hotel, this felt very unprofessional.
Basic facilities were also poorly managed. The towel service was inconsistent and one day there were no clean towels at all. You can only get drinks from 11:00 onwards, the buffet food is average at best, and I even received a cup with a lipstick stain on it. The sunbeds are hard and uncomfortable, and the bar is often so busy that you wait far too long for a drink.
Overall, this feels more like a 2- or 3-star hotel rather than a 4-star resort. We were treated unfriendly on multiple occasions, and simple things were made unnecessarily difficult.
I would not recommend staying here if you want value for your money.

Overall the resort is pretty and relaxing but there were a lot of cons to this place. For starters everything closes at 11pm, you have to make reservations for majority of the restaurants and most of the time they are fully booked, me and my family came across multiple workers who seems like they didn’t wanna serve us or had a problem giving out multiple meals to one person even tho it’s an ALL INCLUSIVE, they charge for room service, there’s also a lot of people inside and outside the resort who constantly try to get you to go out and it became very obnoxious after a few days, the beach waves are very strong making the ocean un swim able which was disappointing. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again for a 8 day trip or in general just being honest.

The rating is more like 4.5/5. The 0.5 is because of food. The quality is good but options are limited for vegetarians. They could use with 1 more restaurant in the evening to help with the crowd. The Italian restaurant was by far my favorite and recommend going there early as it gets crowded. My second favorite was a tie between Azul and the Mexican restaurant. I will definitely recommend taco stand for lunch. The buffet has multiple options particularly if you eat meat. They have a cafe which is open 24 hours and have sandwiches for late nite options. Property is clean and staff is very friendly. Their other amenities are on par with other resorts. Their water park is more for younger kids and has enough to keep them engaged. They have 2 adult pool and they are like any other regular pool. I would recommend the kids club and they have multiple activities for kids including pool time. They have activities for adults throughout the day. The best part of the resort is the beach. It is clean with no sargassum issue. The water can be rough but it is still swimmable. The rooms are spacious and clean. I will recommend buying the deluxe room as it comes with extra perks like bigger room and vip lounge access. I was happy with the liquor offerings. The housekeeping staff will clean the rooms daily and refill things as needed. Overall it was great stay and is recommended!

Amazing hotel to spend your vacation. All the services we had here was great %100. The reception was so friendly and very helpful for any requests. I remember "Miguel " he was so great with us. I remember too Sandy and Christian in the pool. They made us busy every day with their beautiful exercises and dancing. They were so great. Generally,sunscape hotel is one of the best best hotel we have ever seen.
Definitely, we'll repeat coming back here again.

Food was tolerable at best. Thank god for the Italian restaurant, it is the only place with good food in this hotel. Rooms are clean but it is true that the sound proof is next to nothing. Staff seems overworked and not the happiest. They try to upsell you in every corner. The beach is very nice and clean. Small pool. Not a lot to do in the hotel. 4/10 experience would not come back.

Great resort for a short 6 day stay. after reading various reviews, I can say the resort was a great value for the price . The service was excellent in all the restaurants. The staff was very attentive and paid close attention to my families dietary needs and coordinated with the kitchen provide food options. A very big thanks to them . As for me the food was flavorful. The negative food reviews I attribute to our high salt, sugar laced foods in the USA. I just added salt and pepper as needed. The desserts were top notch, not high sugar ladeen, the actual flavors came through just right. We did have a AC water leak and a refrigerator fail in the room and let me tell you the response from the staff was quick and efficient. Drinks well ask for a double if you want it stronger. The room service staff was wonderful and the last turnover service was a special surprise. All the staff was solid on guest service smiling and greeting is as we passed often asking if all was ok and if we needed anything. Kids and adult pools were great but I preferred the sandy beach, we also took advantage of free the water craft options off site at Aqua world. Nightly entertainment at the bar varied nightly and they definitely did a great job . A special treat for the kids was a surprise while watching the moon on the beach the turtles emerged from the sand after hatching. The time share associates were very subdued not as aggressive as I have encountered on other resorts all we did was ignore them, plenty of practice. The family had a great time and the sunscape is on our list for a future trip.

We felt that the communication during our stay was quite poor. When we arrived in the middle of the night, our cart driver was very good at letting us know about ordering food through the night, via room service. When we woke the next day, we didn't know where to go for breakfast or where any of the restaurants were. There was no information in the room either. A "welcome" email would have been good explaining how to find out where things / places were, etc. Also, we were not told we could not use the Casitas pool beds, and embarassingly, a hotel agent had to come and explain to us, which was embarassing for us and the staff member. Overall we had a great time, and the room was very clean and the maids did a great job. The food, though cold on occasion, was mainly tasty and good. The Mediterranean restaurant was unforgivingly cold and that spoilt our experience there, unfortunately. We spent alot of time over at Maroma Beach, which was fantastic. The staff at the resorts were amazingly good and we feel they are a tremendous asset to the resorts. Especially Itzel and Hilda, who were always making sure everyone was happy, and they made our day with their smiles and kindness to see them happy and smiling. Overall a fabulous holiday. Thank you

The food was fantastic. The amenities were amazing. We had a day at the Waterpark free! We had 4 excursions included. The pools and grounds were beautiful. The service was terrific. The lady who cleaned the room,Elizabeth, left chocolate and was friendly and thorough. The bathtub was massive. Diego, the concierge offered so many extras and was very helpful. This was the best resort that I have ever stayed at. We will be back. The only feedback I have is regarding the glass swing door to the restroom in the room. Beyond that it was perfect.

El Dorado Royale remains a great resort even 11 years after my first visit. Some of the rooms are starting to show their age but we had friends staying in an updated room that was very nice. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. My recent visit was about 3 weeks after Lomas took ownership of the property so they were still working out some kinks with excursions but they were very accommodating. My only complaint is about the beach and water access. Erosion has hit Royale hard and the beach is nothing but rocks and isn't really fit for enjoying the water. Luckily Casitas and Generations are part of the same property and at least the Generations beach is accessible to Royale guests and is much nicer. Plus, an included excursion to El Dorado Moroma Beach is included in the More Inclusive benefits, so you get a day on a perfect beach as part of your stay.

Spent a week at El Dorado Royale. We absolutely loved the entertainment staff and all the activities (especially the cooking class, pickleball and Aqua Boards). Special thanks to Gerard, Dulces and Ulises for their great energy and passion. The evening shows were good but would’ve liked a bit more variety. There was a lot of singing performances from the same bands, catered to 50 year old +. Really liked the circus and dreams show.
The food was excellent (Kampai, Rincon Mexicana, Coco Tal and Aha Coffee Shop are at the top of our list). We used the laundry services (extra charge) but really helpful.
Only drawbacks was the beach: you could only enter in certain areas due to erosion.

We recently stayed at this resort, and while there were some positives, several issues made the experience disappointing overall.
Pros:
The food was good, and the restaurants had availability. The pools were nice, clean, and enjoyable, and most of the staff — especially those at the front desk — were friendly and accommodating.
Cons:
The restaurants were extremely cold, making it difficult to enjoy meals. Staff said they couldn’t adjust the temperature, which made dining unpleasant. If you're staying at this resort bring long sleeved clothes/vests for dinner.
We did not see any entertainment at the pools — no activities, pool parties, or entertainment crew, which was a bit unusual. Seating was also limited, and we often had to go to Casitas to find available chairs/space to sit around the pool.
The resort is quite large, and the transport carts were unreliable; they’re supposed to pass every 20 minutes, yet often took much longer and were usually full.
The beach was very rocky, making it almost impossible to swim. The water at Casitas was slightly better but still not great for swimming.
We stayed at the adults-only section (El Dorado Royale) but saw kids at the buffet from time to time.
The rooms were very cold even with the AC off, and the thin linen and damp air made sleeping uncomfortable.
The club only had live bands — no real shows or variety during our stay. A few times we waited for shows (ie: the burlesque show) which were on the activity schedule to occur and did not.
The villas were also quite dirty, with animal feces and broken plates around entrances due to wildlife and guests leaving dishes outside. Housekeeping did not clean these areas in a timely manner, sometimes taking hours/days to do so. Guests should also be told to keep dishes inside their rooms or have a designated drop-off area assigned for these things.
Lomas Travel:
Lomas Travel was the most disorganized company we’ve dealt with at a resort. The staff were unfriendly and seemed uninterested in helping unless you were making a purchase. The check-in for the catamaran excursion was chaotic because it serves as the main location for many different excursions. The staff on the catamaran even suggested that every guest tip $10 USD, which was uncomfortable to say the least although the excursion itself was pleasant.
At the airport, Lomas Travel didn’t have our names or destination information. We had to write our names on paper and tell them where we were going — completely unprofessional and unsafe. Ive also never experienced this in my life.
Final Thoughts:
Unless your goal is simply to eat and relax by the pool or beach, save your money and go elsewhere. The resort needs major improvements in organization, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.

Stayed at this property from nov 24 till dec 4 staying in the deluxe junior suite with hot tub
My stay had several disappointing moments, especially during check-in and interactions with the concierge. The check-in process felt disorganized. Our passports were taken for verification, but when we asked for them back before being escorted to our room, the front desk staff insisted we already had them and spoke to us as if we were lying. Only after we pushed the issue did he check a cabinet under the desk—where our passports had been the whole time. His attitude made the situation feel unnecessarily tense.
The concert he assigned to us was not very kind. I did not catch the gentleman’s name that worked alone side her but he was much more pleasant and willing to help.
On a positive note, the property itself is beautiful, well kept, and the grounds are maintained exceptionally well. The beachfront was absolutely beautiful and taken care of .The staff member who brought us to our room, I believe his name was Israel, was extremely polite and kind. However, the rooms themselves could use an upgrade as they have lots of wear and tear and offer little to no privacy as it’s all open concept. Also the hot tub on our balcony did not have hot water so it could not be used .
Checkout was also underwhelming—the bellmen were rude both when we dropped off our bags and again at departure. I’m not sure why.
Food was mediocre, and because you can’t make reservations at the restaurants, there were often long lines. The buffet was the most reliable option, though the selections became repetitive. Room service was listed as 24 hours but the quality was poor, and we were discouraged from ordering later in the evening.
Restaurant staff were great—very kind and attentive— the woman who worked as a hostess in the buffet often during breakfast and lunch service was extremely kind and the pool bar staff by the beach were phenomenal (and made great drinks!) if you are looking for a quieter vacation this was the pool to be at . The other large pool on the property was great if you are looking for day time activities.
WiFi was frequently slow and kept disconnecting.
We also had to request new beach towels and bottles of water daily, as none were left in our room and the front desk did not provide them.
We experienced room issues as well. Despite booking two double beds, we were given a king. When I raised this, we were told we couldn’t switch rooms, even later in our 10-day stay. The concierge assigned to us (Fernanda) wasn’t able to offer much assistance and even suggested calling WestJet, which made no sense because how is an airline going to suddenly make a room available?
We had stayed at the Grand Riviera Princess last year and had a great experience, which is why we booked the Platinum Yucatán Princess this time, expecting an “upgrade” and access to all three connected properties. At check-in, we were told we would have full access, but when we explored, we ran into construction closures. No one could clearly confirm what was open, and we only learned on day three—from the Nexus representative, who was the most helpful person we spoke to—that only Yucatán and Sunset were accessible. Many advertised amenities were unavailable, and the shuttle was inconsistent, often making walking along the beach the easiest option. I don’t believe the price difference for the platinum side was worth the service provided.
Overall, the lack of clear communication, poor support, and frustrating check-in experience took away from what could have been a much better stay, despite the beautiful grounds.

We just returned yesterday and want to give a true assessment of what you can expect when you book here. Our group (of 11) had a great time! Now it is not a 5 star resort...let's face it...it's an all-inclusive resort. HOWEVER, the food at the buffet was good, the choices were many and the service was attentive. The entertainment staff was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! From making guacamole, decorating hats/t-shirts to their overall attention to all the guest was beyond what you would expect. A big shoutout to Luna and Johnny who made our stay extra special. The shows at night are exceptional. The dancers are amazing and engaging! The pools were clean, the beach without seaweed and the rooms adequate. Here is where I, in my opinion, would suggest some improvement. The rooms need some love, if they spent just a little money to upgrade the resort it would go a long way. The Pool bar staff need to focus a bit more on their guests. I found the service slow and less than friendly. Fernando in the late night bar was great and did his job very well. The mornings were a bit slow going and it was always his fault :). I have already started looking at another vacation and I wouldn't be surprised if we returned! Our overall experience was great.

A wonderful place to stay!! Any review regarding poor service should be disregarded because it’s likely from an entitled vacationer. The service around the entire resort was exceptional! Everyone is polite and happy to help you! We just got back and were a group of 10 and we were always accommodated - which is a challenge (shout out to the buffet hostess for always remembering us!) The resort is a perfect size and the amenities were always available to use. A gem of a location! If you want the big resort, you can still go next door but if you want to meet people and enjoy the offering, this is the place. Don’t sleep on the sports park - so much fun! The club was also a great time. For the age of the resort and the amount of maintenance that goes into it, this team makes everything look spectacular, clean, and ready to use! I cannot say enough good things!

The property exceeded my expectations from start to finish! The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegance and relaxation. The buffet offered a wide selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I also had the chance to try the Italian restaurant, which was pretty good as well.Restaurant availability is rotated daily which was my only con.
The location is convenient for excursions off the resort but still feels private and peaceful once you return. The beach was the highlight of my stay.There's plenty of shaded seating, attentive service, and a beach bar that serves lunch so you can enjoy a full day by the ocean.Diego is great at remembering your favorite drinks,preference etc.
Service throughout the stay was excellent!. The staff was professional, welcoming, and always ready to assist. I received a room upgrade, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. It was exactly the kind of stay I was hoping for.
Overall, quiet luxe resort that delivers on every detail. Highly recommended for travelers seeking comfort, quality dining, and a relaxing beachfront experience.

We were taken to the wrong room at first and it wasn’t ready, looked like they were maybe renovating it, mattress thrown etc so we had to be moved to a different room away from our group. Not really any beach to enjoy.
The hotel itself was nice and the buffet was probably one of the best we have had so far. Good entertainment at the pool and lots to do in the evening. For the price we paid, expected better and more kind of luxury as we have travelled to cheaper resorts that seemed much nicer.

We LOVED everything about this resort. I can not even fully express how amazing this resort is. Not only is it beautiful but it has hands down the BEST staff ever! They are so very thoughtful and consideret. They go out of their way to make sure you have the best stay and truly it was because of the staff that our experiences there were elevated. I had a minor ankle injury (100% my fault) and from immediately assisting me in wrapping it, to constantly checking on me, to providing wheelchair escort all over, I have never felt so taken care of. We traveled with our two daughters (4 & 8) and they loved the kids club! The dining options are lovely and the resort is gorgeous! As I mentioned EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER was phenomenal, the ones that made an extra special impression on us with their thoughtfulness, service, and professionalism were: Gilberto in the buffet (we truly feel like we made a friend with him and will come back to see him!), Alberto in the services area (he was so kind to understand my injury and take care of our unfortunate excursions cancelations due to my injury) and Rocio and Fatima in the Explorer's Club (Kids club), our daughters LOVED them. I didn't vatch everyones name but EVERYONE was perfection! Also the lady who greeted us for La Petit Chef was so incredibly kind and amazing. We couldnt have asked for a better experience and are so very greatful for helping us have such beautiful memories of this Cancun trip!

As a frequent traveler, I have enough perspective on what to expect. I've never done an all inclusive but was here for a wedding (which was lovely).
We upgraded to the preferred club, but I personally don't know that it was worthwhile. They don't distinguish preferred club guests - the only 'gating' factor is your keycard for the preferred lounge. Any other privileges were never validated.
As others have said, the gift shop is crazy overpriced but nothing I wouldn't expect at a resort. $7 for a gatorade. $30 for sunscreen. It's unfortunate but again, I expected it and just accepted it.
Would I stay here again? No, because this is not my thing. I would prefer a quiet, not all-inclusive resort with nicer options and just pay as you go. But I also don't overconsume. If you are someone that enjoys that, you'll probably appreciate this place more.
Pros:
- Overall service was solid. Staff were nice and friendly and clearly work incredibly hard. Coffee shop staff were very efficient.
-Room itself was fine, we found it clean. However, the setup is not ideal (see 'cons' below)
-- Preferred club food/drink area was small but fine, but on the beach they did nothing to confirm if you were 'preferred' at the bar or the beach chairs. So didn't feel remotely 'special'. And unless you pay and reserve a cabana, there probably won't be enough chairs for you at the beach or anywhere near a pool. People come out early and just leave their towels on chairs.
- Beach was fine, they clean up the sea grass at least on this stretch. But if you go for a walk it will be everywhere.
-Wifi was good
Cons:
- There are TONS of kids. I had no idea that this would be the case. As someone with now older children, I am fine with kids, but not when they are unsupervised and parents are oblivious to their kids' behavior. I had kids bumping into my lounge chair constantly, tossing sand around about 4 inches behind me, in what I thought was supposed to be a relaxing beach area. It wasn't.
- The room is all tile flooring, so it can be slippery and LOUD. The room above us either had a toddler or people who like to rearrange their hotel room furniture incessantly, because until 1am every night, and by 6:45am every morning, we got to listen to constant screeching and stomping. I complained twice to the front desk, they allegedly sent security, but nothing changed. We never got to sleep well on this trip. The last night I had to sleep with my Airpods in with white noise to drown out the room above.
-There is limited privacy in the bathroom. It's all open to the room with just a glass door that doesn't fully close for the shower and toilet. It is mostly (but not all) opaque glass.
- Room service was not good. Only ordered once (pizza, some fries, some fruit) but the food was just plain cold when it arrived and took over an hour. We did order at dinner time, so I gugess to be expected on the timing.

The resort represents perceived value to a T. It looks expensive but behind the scenes costs and quality are cut and your cost a sthe customer increases exorbitantly.
The all inclusive portion held it's frame, but with minimal quality with dingy and heavily used plastic wear for most of their glass wear.
Towels overused, beach/pool bedding overused. I gotta say it was clean but you can tell that they've been there for a while and need to be put out of service.
WiFi went down for a full 24h. Elevators with down for 2 days.
Jacuzzi was tepid, not warm or soothing.
House Keeping will Sneek into your room and not announce themselves.
Room service US NOT 24/7 like they tell you.
The Spa is rediculously OVERPRICED and the quality of the spa options is quite underwhelming and quite poor. The only spa treatment worth it is the Dry Sauna specifically.
The message therapists have no technique that reflects they know what kind of massage their giving. I asked for a tension relief massage and all that happend was a lady absolutely smashing my back non-discriminatelt and without any knowledge or technique.
Pretty much ALL the food here was mid from almost all the restaurants.
Wedding stuff went well.
The only good food I've had was the fish (grouper/sea bass) from the French restaurant Restaurant Bordeaux and the main buffet. At the main buffet you have more influence on what you eat so that's why.
Some of the hotel staff is low-key racist. Preferential treatment to people who were the same level in resort. We were VIP/Preferred.
Overall the hotel is nice enough. They have some cool events but it's almost always just MID.
It served the purpose of getting a wedding done.

I had an unforgettable experience at Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa. The entire resort is absolutely immaculate, and you can tell the staff work incredibly hard to keep everything beautiful and welcoming. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great time.
The food was consistently good, the shows were fun, and the sandy beach is truly stunning. They also planned and hosted my wedding, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Every detail was handled with care, and my guests were just as impressed. It was a perfect celebration and a time we’ll never forget. Highly recommend!

Our family of 4 have loved our time at The Fives hotel celebrating our son’s 21st birthday - everything has been perfect. Staff at the hotel are so helpful and can’t do enough to ensure that everyone is having a great time and is being well looked after. The pool activities have been great - Daniela, Cam & Eddie were great fun and had everyone laughing in and around the pool. The evening entertainment has been great and very varied, my daughter and I loved the Disney themed night! My son and husband spent many an hour each day at the swim up bar at the Lizzards pool! All the bar staff were great, Geramias, Jorge & Noe were really friendly and fun to chat to.
Our favourite restaurant was the Koh Tai although all eateries were superb with lots of choices available.
Our accommodation was great and the location of our apartment was ideal - we stayed in villa 8 over looking the pool, just perfect!
We’re very sad to be leaving and will definitely be back soon!

A bit late for my comment, but it is worth sharing.
We visited during Mexico’s National Celebration Week on September 16th, 2025. That entire week was truly a wonderful experience—the service was impeccable, the restaurants and their cuisine were exceptional, and the activities organized for youth, adults, and children were outstanding.
The evening entertainment provided by Daniela and Camilo was excellent, especially the Mexican Independence celebration on the beach. It was lively, fun, and featured great music. We enjoyed it very much with our family, friends, and even with people we didn’t know; everyone came together to dance and enjoy such a memorable moment.
Negative Points:
My wife and I accepted an informational session, which was estimated to last “one hour,” in order to receive certain benefits offered if we were interested in purchasing the membership promoted within the hotel, as well as a complimentary beach bed for the day.
Unfortunately, that “one-hour” session extended into four hours (half the morning). I understand the position of a salesperson who aims to understand their client and gather as much information as possible to make a sale; however, when this salesperson received a “NO” from us or was told that we were “NOT interested,” his attitude and comments became quite aggressive and very uncomfortable.
He asked and made several inappropriate and disparaging remarks. I suppose he was attempting to unsettle us so we would fall into pressure and purchase the membership. I remained composed and tried to leave as quickly as possible without providing any evaluation of him because at that moment, I did not feel well, and finally I forgot it
Being there should not imply an obligation to purchase such a membership, and two other families with whom we discussed the issue shared the same perception.
Aside from the point mentioned above, it was an unforgettable vacation and a wonderful place. Thank you very much!

Our family absolutely loved our stay at The Fives Residence Resort. Check-in was the fastest and easiest we’ve ever experienced, and the staff were incredible from start to finish. One thing that stood out right away—unlike many resorts, no one pressured us to tip, which actually made us want to tip even more. Everyone was warm, friendly, and consistently went above and beyond. Even the lifeguard helped us find beach chairs! Our brand ambassador, Alex (little Alex), checked in with us daily to ensure we had everything we needed and built a genuine connection before introducing the membership program he’s so passionate about.
We were especially blown away by the kids club. Our 4-year-old instantly connected with Laura and Carolina, who made every day fun with thoughtful activities and so much care. He wasn’t feeling his best due to a cough, but they lifted his spirits every time—they truly love what they do, and it shows.
The cenote and walking paths were stunning, with some of the best landscaping we’ve ever seen at a resort and so many beautiful animals along the way. We also enjoyed an amazing massage from Angelica and Celeste—50 minutes felt like five in heaven. The spa was spotless and felt like stepping into another world.
Loved everything about this resort and highly recommend… and rumor has it the Toronto Raptors vacation here too 😏. And if you’re lucky, you can book a meeting with Christian and get a peek at his personal beach photos 👌.

From the location, to the food, to the staff, this place is spectacular. The Fives is located on the beach with multiple pools scattered throughout. We stayed for a week and did not have one bad meal during our time there. The staff was so attentive and caring, I would like to give a special shoutout to Yaremi, Oscar and Esteban. My daughter had an ear issue and Yaremi was able to find us kids ear plugs. She is very kind and attentive. Oscar at the sushi restaurant made our night with his balloon animals. Esteban at the Thai place was able to relocate us to a common area when my daughter was getting overwhelmed. Overall it was a great trip and I highly recommend staying here.

I recently stayed at The Fives Beach Hotel & Residences and had such a great experience. Everyone there was super welcoming and always happy, which made the whole place feel full of good energy. The hotel has an app for food and activities, which made everything really easy to book and keep track of.
We tried the temazcal and it was 100% worth it. We also had dance lessons with Camilo. He was patient, full of genuine energy, and honestly made us feel really welcome every time we saw him around the resort.
We really enjoyed our stay and would def recommend. Great vibes, great staff, and a really relaxing experience.

I went on a girls trip, there were 3 of us total.
-Check in was pleasent and quick.
- our room was always cleaned and left smelling amazing!!
-We only had 4 days so we usually just went to the buffet and were pleasantly surprised with how yummy. The fish was always fresh and chicken and lunch was BBQd perfect!
-The cafe had great options and was yummy!
Drinks were standard, service was just okay!

The music!!!! There was no spot that had a quiet area, they began music early, so even if you were by the pool early to maybe read or relax, it was loud and too upbeat to focus on a book. Totally fine - just not our vibe in the morning.

Margaritaville (Adults Only) Island Reserve is highly recommended! Myself and my group of 7 others really enjoyed our time visiting this past weekend!
From the extremely clean rooms, to the beautiful pools and views, we all enjoyed every minute!
The pool was definitely a highlight for us; despite being a little cold, we acclimated well enough by playing volleyball or basketball, and the frequent swims to the bar! Angel and his girls are absolutely entertaining and I enjoyed the margarita cup balancing game!
The food was awesome as well; from the buffet to the Italian Frank & Lola's Italian restaurant, and also Joe's Merchant, everything was detailed and immaculate. I wish they restocked more often at Joe's Merchant, the points system was great but on the last day there was only one kind of chips and one kind of chocolate bar to choose.
All bartenders and servers were kind and respectful, and I observed at how kindly they held conversations and made you feel at home and welcome.
Only reason I removed one star is the little ants that are around the pool area, was a little annoying having to constantly brush them away. Not the resorts fault but maybe something to improve. (Technically I would remove half a star but there's no option- consider my rating a 4.5/5)
All in all a very great location with excellent quality and service!

We wanted an all inclusive resort that was roughly 30 minutes from airport, adults only, and had beach/sand volleyball available. We were a little reluctant in selecting this resort over the other due to not having a beach.. however since it clearly showed a sand volleyball court on the resort and said volleyball in the activities description ..we went with it.
Get here and to our surprise the sand volleyball court was removed. Not sure how long it's been gone, but they really need to take a few minutes and update their info on the site. It may seem silly to some.. but this was a big disappointment for us. We requested a transfer to the other (non-adult only) Margaritaville that actually has a beach. So far we have been told there is no availability.. which honestly is hard to believe. We even asked about just getting day passes. They still would not accommodate unless we paid ~$160 a person. (?!) That doesn't make any sense. We already paid. ..what difference does it make. You'd think they would want to make it right and salvage our impression in some way. I'm sorry to say..but we regret picking this resort and should have booked at a place where we have stayed before that we knew checked all the boxes except for being further from the airport. If I could have done it over again, I would have booked at El Dorado Seaside Palms. Just thought it would be worth trying something different.
Aside from all that we'll admit the service and food has been pretty decent. It's just unfortunate they are not willing to make things right when our expectations were not met based on what was described /advertised. We are here for another few days and we'll make the best of it I suppose, but it's very likely we won't be returning to this resort.

We spent a week at Grand Palladium and loved it! We stayed at Colonial but had access to all the resorts, including the various restaurants and pools. The food was great and had a lot of variety, even at the buffets. Our favourite restaurants were the Brazilian rodizio, Mexican restaurant and daily poolside lunch (fresh paella!).
The property was large and each resort had a unique feel to it, all while being immersed in nature (lots of wildlife including plenty of Mexican racoons, iguanas, and monkeys). Everyday was filled with activities and night life, with different themed parties (UV party, white party and fire show, Latin and rock nights, Mexican street festival). There was truly something for everyone and every age!
All the staff were so welcoming and hospitable, but we especially loved our POP staff Carlos (best aqua gym instructor!!), Diego and Samuel, and our bartenders Javier, Miguel, Jesus, Antonio and Victor! Also shout out to the mixologist Christian at Churchill bar for his informative tequila tasting!

Cons:
Seaweed season makes the beach unusable. We knew it was a possibility, but thought we could at least still swim. It was just too much. I had friends in Cancun at the same time and their resort just 20 minutes up the beach had barely any seaweed. I think the cove at this resort traps the seaweed in and it's just too much to manage.
Timeshare pitches - the minute we arrived at the property they were trying to sell to us. I thought they were giving us a run down of the amenities of the resort but quickly realized it was a sales pitch. We were exhausted and starving from travel and I kept trying to get away so we could go eat, but the salesman was super insistent. He also called my room multiple times and would approach me any time he saw me in the lobby. It was extremely off-putting and when I told my travel agent about it she was also disappointed.
Food - quite a few times they were out of things we tried to order (like chicken tenders which are essential to kids haha) and the Nescafe coffee machines were empty more often than not.
Rooms - our room was spacious but needed some maintenance. It was definitely worn. There were lights out, grimey surfaces in the bathroom, broken tiles, scratched up furniture.
The Colonial pool was insanely deep for being the main pool of the resort. I'm 5'7 and I couldn't touch in most of the pool. It makes it dangerous and not fun for kids unless they have life jackets. There's only a tiny baby area in the pool but the water was too warm to even enjoy. There is a kids pool with waterslides that is really nice, but it's too shallow to swim around in. The temperature of the main pool as also super hot, so in the middle of the day it was actually too miserable to enjoy. There was hardly ever anyone in the pool, even though it's an impressive looking pool. Also, the swim up bar was under construction our entire stay which was disappointing.

During my stay, I had the pleasure of meeting Fernando from the POP team, and he has been incredibly friendly since day one! I’ve joined several of his activities, including the workout and jumping classes on previous days, and they were amazing — he’s such a great coach, full of energy and patience.
Today we had another nice chat, and he kindly invited us to the evening activities. I really hope to see him again on my next visit!
Also, I’d like to mention Gerardo, our waiter, who provided excellent service every day. He was always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

We were lucky enough to be looked after by Diego around the pool during our stay, and he was absolutely amazing! He kept our drinks topped up all day without us ever having to ask, and nothing was ever too much trouble.
What really made a difference was his friendly personality — he always had a laugh and a chat with us, which made us feel so welcome and really added to our holiday. Diego’s great attitude and attention to detail made our time by the pool extra special.
He is an asset to the Grand Palladium!

I had such a great experience at El Dorado with Jose Ake as server. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and taken care of. Our server Jose Ake was polite, attentive, and always had a smile. They checked in just the right amount — not too often, but always when we needed something.
The food came out quickly, tasted amazing, and you could tell everything was fresh. What really made the visit stand out was how smoothly everything ran and how friendly everyone was. It’s clear the team takes pride in their work.

We had a fantastic time at this resort with so many amenities. The only downside was the hotel needed maintenance and the food wasn't as great as expected. There were lots of food options though, so you can find something you like (be sure to book the italian or asian!). The beach was great with so many belly beds (wish we brought snorkel stuff) but the pool was the star! Luiana and Benjamin were so entertaining! We spent a great week here and, even being in our 30s thinking beforehand that this would be more for mature adults, found that the nightlife and atmosphere were inclusive and diverse.. so fun meeting new friends! My other note would be that there was a bit of selling. We did the presentation and liked the offer but declined as it felt a little pushy, but worth it for the free gifts. We loved our swim out room on the Seaside Suites side (you have access to the Palms resort next door too-super close to walk) and the service was incredible from the entertainers to the maids, plus room service and golf cart shuttle rides! I would definitely come back. Thanks for a great anniversary trip and our surprise!

Had a wonderful vacation with a group of friends at El Dorado Seaside Suites. Service was excellent all around. Room service was meticulous and always providing fresh towels and doing the little things to make the room comfortable. They decorated our bed with flowers to celebrate our wedding anniversary ❤️. All staff, no matter where you met them, went out of their way to say hello. The resort does a top notch job in maintenance and upkeep of the resort - eg. sweeping ponded water after rain. Our butlers (Anna and Enrique) always looked to for us and found us every day to ensure our needs were met and to even provide suggestions. Special shoutout to Andrea for wonderful yoga, aquafit and dance classes. It is clear that she loves her job and connecting with her clients to ensure her classes fit their needs. The fitness facility and had lots of dumbbells, Olympic Bar, squat rack, and even a pull up bar. Would have loved to have had access to a rower or echobike. The day excursions to the tequila tasting and Maroma beach and catamaran were a good time.

One of our favorite resorts to visit in the riviera maya area! We love the romantic feel as the resort is on the smaller side compared to some of their sister resorts but we love the intimate feel! The staff is so kind, happy to help and feels like family! Anselmo was one of my favorite waiters and each day we got him serving us at breakfast or lunch was always extra special! The spa is one of our favorites and we always enjoy the hydrotherapy. We also enjoyed our butler Carlos and our other butler Edith! They had all of our dinners and special activities scheduled and taken care of as well as daily breakfast requests. We also really enjoy the daily resort activities and staff Luana and Benjamin were so much fun and such a joy to experience each day! Typically there’s more activities/events and even they bring in vendors to shop from one of the days of the week in the evening but that didn’t happen this trip… Maybe because a lot of the nights it was stormy but that’s no one’s fault besides Mother Nature! All in all, a really great time! The tortellini at Mia Casa is one of my favorites and you can’t go wrong with the sushi or orange chicken at KlayTalaay! My only complaint the whole trip was the main pool at seaside suites bartender Carlos David. For some reason he continually had an attitude. Not sure if it was at me or other guests … or that the guests were intermingling making friends and ordering shots -- either way … I was not impressed with pool bar boy Carlos David as he was rude multiple times on multiple occasions and even at one point asked me to stop speaking Spanish and just speak English — which I found to be extremely rude considering everyone else on the resort was impressed with my Spanish, and complimented me many times how nice it was someone coming in and being able to speak their language so maybe Carlos David was having a bad day or two — but that’s where he should learn that we choose our job. If he’s not happy serving the public, go pick up trash or work in the back somewhere where you don’t have to speak to or deal with guests but that’s just my advice as a girl that’s waitressed 15 years myself 🤷🏽♀️😵💫🫣🥰

This is a great place to go for so many reasons!! Adults only to begin with! It had a mostly chill vibe. We were for only rest and relaxation this trip.
The room was awesome! Comfy bed, places to sit and the view was great in the morning especially!
Lots of cool different bars on both sides of the resort.
The food was amazing! Lots of choices for a la cart and a couple decent buffets.
The grounds are beautiful on both sides for obvious reasons! All the palm trees and sand you need!
There are lots of Bali beds and beach chairs! We were able to get a Bali bed every day and we slept in most days!
It’s not a postcard perfect beach but it is great and you can swim along the whole thing.
The staff were great! Friendly and helpful.
The resort is a great place to have a great vacation!
Be prepared to walk a little on this resort. There are golf carts to take you around as well.
I liked to walk off the food and take in all the sites!

We love our time here, this is our 3rd time at Seaside Suites. From the time we arrived - Jose took care of our luggage and got us settled in. Check in was quick and easy. The room 6605 was great and your staff for housekeeping, turn down service and beverage people took great care of us. We love our swim out and the view is amazing.
Alva was our concierge and she is the best - got us what we needed and even a little extra special touch. We love the pools and the beaches there and your staff are amazing. Veronica is awesome at the beach, Cumi and Alejandro at your pool bars are great bartenders, Alicia is also wonderful. Maria was our activities person and she went out of her way to play games at the pools with us and taught us a little salsa as well. We had fun with Anna at Mezcalito each night we were there.
Meals were fantastic, we love breakfast at La Sandwichiere and sitting on the palapah looking at the ocean. The Pub has great food, Klay Talay is also one of our favorites. Shout out to Alejandro "Chivo" at the Pub as he is the best. Emiliano at Klay Talay is an amazing server and our dinner on the beach was very special - thank you Rubicell and Jose for all their amazing work to make that special.
Your staff are very friendly and we love our walks on your property and we had an amazing time there - we hope to come back sometime soon.

My husband and I went to TRS for our honeymoon and we truly had the time of our lives. We were able to completely unwind, and feel so cared for in the most beautiful utopia. The resort was huge, with so many places (and different resorts) to explore - it’s so big that you pretty much take golf carts everywhere (the carts come frequently and out driven by wonderful and warm drivers). The location was stunning with beautiful water, landscaping, walking paths, and perfect weather. Even the gym was big, spacious, and cool with most everything you need. The food was outstanding with something for everyone (access to14 restaurants) - it felt like we never had a moment hungry! There is even 24/7 free room service. The infinity pool was a favourite spot to hang out at, as well as the beach at the kantenah resort side. We went snorkelling and saw so many sea turtles and we also had a spa day which included an 80 minutes massage and all day access to the spa pools and hydrotherapy - both of which were incredible. We went to the CHIC cabaret show which was outstanding, with so many incredibly talented people! With it being our honeymoon, we felt so special and celebrated the employees! And that brings me to the biggest strength of TRS - the employees. The staff was so welcoming, eager to help us out, and so warm and kind. Our butlers Paola and Gabriel in villa 68 were the warmest faces of welcome every time we walked back to the villa. They went above and beyond with EVERYTHING for us, allowing us to not have to worry about a thing. They were so warm and lovely, I will miss seeing them every day. Lourdes and Cesar at Helios made our breakfast service incredible, making us feel so special and well cared for every morning. Our room cleaner Selena was so efficient with so much attention to detail - even if we weren’t out for very long, we never returned to a messy room! Julian at capricho, Oscar at tentazione, and David at la boheme each went above and beyond for us, making us feel so cared for! The drivers were so warm and helpful too - wish I caught more of their names. I wish were could individually thank all the staff for making our stay so outstanding (and drop their names here so they could get the deserved recognition) but since I can’t - thank you SO much TRS and each and every employee both behind the scenes and out front. We had such an incredible stay full of fun, relaxation, laughter, and joy. TRS was a 20/10 for us! We hope to be back soon!

We had a wonderful stat stay at TRS Yucatan with our adult children. Our villa butlers were friendly and helpful, especially Carlos who was so hardworking and offered thoughtful suggestions without ever being pushy. Saying goodbye felt like parting with a new friend. The Helios restaurant staff also added to making our trip special by surplus with a lovely desert tray to celebrate. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the adults only infinity pool was beautifully relaxing. Our only suggestion would be to add more photo friendly spots around the property, such as unique lighting features along the walkways or designated spots with architectural elements. Overall a fantastic stay!

Everything from check in to check out was amazing. The resort grounds are stunning and the groundskeepers do an amazing job. You feel like your in a tropical paradise not some clear cut monstrosity. The wildlife was everywhere and so great to watch.

Our stay at TRS Yucatán Hotel was truly amazing from start to finish. The resort is beautiful, relaxing, and incredibly well organized, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a luxury vacation.
We stayed at Villa 60, and we were fortunate to have three wonderful butlers: Alexis, Eleonora and Maggie. Each of them was exceptional in their own way—always attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us and that we were comfortable at all times. Their support and care truly made our experience unforgettable.
The overall service throughout the hotel was outstanding. Every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, creating a warm and positive atmosphere everywhere we went.
We had an incredible experience and would absolutely recommend TRS Yucatán Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and memorable stay. We can’t wait to return!

We spent five days at TRS Yucatán and were blown away again by the service, food, and hospitality. Martha & Jeouany made every breakfast feel special, and the pool/beach concierge team kept us spoiled with the best cabanas, cool towels, sunscreen, and endless laughs. Alberto and the pool bar staff were phenomenal.
Huge thanks to our butlers — Maykent, Mafer, and Maggie — for arranging all our meals, activities, and day plans with ease. Jonn had two amazing massages by Valena at the spa. Chic Cabaret was outstanding, and Bingo Night was unexpectedly iconic.
A special shout-out to the front desk team — including Uzeil and Kelly — who helped us with an upgrade without ever feeling pushy. And Fernanda from Expedia surprised us with thoughtful gifts throughout our stay.
A few notes: more poolside entertainment would be great, bathroom acoustics could be more private, and a mattress topper helps the older beds.
We’ll absolutely be back for round three — one of our favourite resorts.

We had a great stay here. The space is beautiful and the service was amazing. We came here for a wedding and loved our time here. It is a very family friendly resort, while also providing spaces for adults only with designated quiet zones. My favourite was the Nespresso bar area where I could get delicious cappuccinos every day. There was truly something for everyone.
Our waiter, Ismael, was particularly amazing. He was very attentive and provided us with impeccable service. Rolando and Sandy were also very helpful.

This is our second time at Paradisus Playa del Carmen, and each time is better than the last! Everything was spectacular from the room, to the service, the food, facilities, entertainment and everything in between. Our Family Concierge Paola made our stay extra special by ensuring we get the best room, the best restaurant booking times, spa, cenotes tour, etc. She communicated swiftly with attentiveness, always keeping us in the know about the activities and answering all of our questions. We loved the perks and gifts of the Family Concierge tier, and highly recommend it to anyone trying to decide whether to book or not. It’s worth it! Jose took good care of us at the pool, making sure we were hydrated and fed throughout the day. The staff at the Lunch Box were all amazing. Highly recommend this hotel! Pro tip: book your room directly from the Melia site as it usually offers better deals and customer support than a travel agency. Register for Melia Rewards for free and look for extra perks sent to you on your birthday. Book your airfare and transfer separately, as well.

My family and I had an amazing time at Paradisus Playa Del Carmen. We stayed 7 days in November. When you are at the pool area, ask for Gabriela for amazing service. At Capella Italian restaurant we had great food. Service provided by Marcos was excellent. For drink service look no further than Nayeli (an Excellent bartender) and Maria who provided amazing service. The entertainment team also did a great job of entertaining everyone during the day and providing evening entertainment. I wish the Nortena Band played every night!

We had so many great staff , Angelo who worked on the pool staff was so helpful he went above his service to help us. Absolutely loved my experience at Paradisus Playa del Carmen. I traveled on a business trip, and stayed in as a couple, and everything from the cleanliness to the service exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless, comfortable and quiet, with a great view and perfect A/C. Every staff member treated us like VIPs, constantly checking in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The food quality was excellent, the drinks well-prepared (though the bartenders sometimes push their preferred cocktails), and overall the atmosphere felt luxurious and welcoming. The only small area for improvement is that the outlets and some in-room amenities feel a bit outdated, but everything works perfectly, so it never became an issue. I’d absolutely come back.

We stayed for 4 days as a group of 3 adults and 2 kids, and overall had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The service was excellent—the staff were friendly and cordial throughout our stay. Special thanks to Dan and Chef Oscar from the hibachi restaurant, who truly impressed us! Room service arrived around 5 PM after we called, and we had to request cleaning on two occasions. At the beach, staff frequently checked in to offer drinks, and the bartenders were very engaging. My nieces absolutely loved the kids’ club and enjoyed spending time with the staff there. The front desk team, however, was a bit slow during check-in and check-out. Various games organized by the pool staff added extra fun to our stay.
The property features a minimalist yet elegant interior, equipped with all the essentials of a modern resort. The restaurants, in contrast, boast luxurious interiors and offer a variety of cuisines. The food was above average overall, but some dishes stood out—lime soup, miso soup, hibachi specialties, and the red snapper with habanero sauce were exceptional.
Additional amenities made the stay even better: a dedicated kids’ pool, a beachside hotdog station, and photography services for memorable moments. Go Majesty travel assistance was very helpful for planning excursions. The resort also offers a sports club with a billiard table and 24-hour physician service, which adds peace of mind. The common washrooms were clean and well-maintained, which is always appreciated. Overall, this resort combines great service, modern facilities, and family-friendly activities for an unforgettable vacation.

We just stayed and really had a wonderful trip. I've stayed at a RIU and this blew it out of the water in terms of cleanliness, service, food and drink selections. Some of the food options are better than others (we are generally particular with wanting good food and generally everything was above average which is fantastic for an all-inclusive). That said, we loved the Mexican dinner restaurant a lot (some of the best Mexican food we've ever had) and our waiter Diego went above and beyond to make our two times at that restaurant very special.
We also did the Club Elegance for adults only and it was great. Some entertainment during the day in the pools but also quiet enough that my wife and I could relax. Beach also has it's own area so kids aren't around and we never really struggled to get a beach chair (the umbrella huts though were a hot commodity and were largely taken by 9:00am).
We also had butler service (Rubi) who did an excellent job of attending to us throughout our stay. Very quick responses via WhatsApp and let us know the events for the day and helped throughout.
We did the Hydrotherapy and while we normally never do spa treatments, this was really amazing. Great to try hot and cold pools and it was incredibly relaxing.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back in the future!

This was my first time at this resort and i must say it was amazing. I usually don't go back to the same resorts but i will definitely come back here. The resort was so thoughtful for all your needs. The shows at night were incredible, the resort was very well desinged and maintained. Jose the server at the beach was a great person very attentive and great to talk to. My favourite spot for drinks was the Piano Bar in the lobby. Giovanni was a magician when making drinks and overall a great guy as well as his partner Johnny. Thanks to everyone for this trip and see you soon!!

Watching how confidently and comfortably they helped my fiancée enjoy every meal made our trip even more special. Joy and Brian are truly the best — dedicated, professional, and genuinely warm people who go above and beyond for their guests.

We went to Don juame for my grandmothers birthday and RAUL was amazing. He accommodated to our unique requests and helped take photos for our big group. Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya has more than lived up to our expectations. Resort is very large, lots to do for those with busy minds but also quiet places when you want to unwind away fron the activities. Meals have been great, special call out to Umi restaurant at the Adults only area. We were taken care of by Nico and he’s someone special. Attention to detail, wonderful recommendations and great interaction. This is our 2nd stay here, we came back in 2017 with our 2 boys and we are here now as adults without them. Both trips were amazing. Enjoying every moment

We visited with friends for a birthday celebration and had an fantastic time. The venue offered a great variety of music, food, and drinks, and the room was very comfortable. Naef and Gabriel, our concierges, gave us a wonderfully warm welcome. They are truly professional and passionate, and I never felt alone in handling any of the planning, changes, or requests. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had.
As for the hotel, my only critique—though this is more of a personal preference—is that they only serve Pepsi products, and I noticed the taste of the mixed drinks can vary. That said, if someone can afford it, I recommend this place 100%.

My wife and I have been to the Hard Rock in Riviera Maya 3 times in 4 years. The last two times were in August 2025 with the family and November 2025 with my Brother and sister in-law.
Since we have become the Hall of Fame members, we have seen a considerable difference between VIP and Hall of Fame. For starters, having butlers was a plus. Our butlers , Moises and Paola in August were amazing. The service they both gave us was impeccable. The were so on top of our needs we requested them for our trip in November 2025. We also plan to go back next year and plan to request them a head of time. Moises and Paola were also amazing when I had a problem with the master bedroom TV in the suite had no audio. I tried several times to talk to the front desk regarding the problem. No resolve that evening. Once I contacted Moises, our butler got involved, 2 men came to the room within 10 mins and had it working in 5 mins. That's service. Thank you Moises.
We also loved the staff at the Azul pool. William aka: Will I Am, did an amazing job at the pool when he found out my brother, and I, were celebrating birthdays, he set up a special area at the pool with balloons and later came with the staff to sing happy birthday and bring us a small cake. Great staff
The other amenities were amazing. The restaurants all had great food, including Faro. The manager at Faro, Maria, and her servers Manu and Brenda always go above & beyond to make are dining experience a pleasure to start our day. Senses is a fun experience for dinner. The gentlemen who speak to us about the different foods was amazing and entertaining. We have been to several Hard Rocks and find Riviera Maya to be our favorite place to revisit again and again. As for the shows, they are very entertaining and there is always something going on either in the theater, pool side, or lobbies.
In Novenber we booked a suite and loved the view, as well as, the service of the housekeeping staff. The in rooming dining experience in the suite was excellent. A staff comes up and serves you a 4 course meal in the suite. A wonderful experience.
We look forward to booking our next trip to Riviera Maya again soon. He we come Moises and Paola.

Just got back last night and already missing it! We had an overall great stay, but there were a couple of things that kept this review from being 5 stars.
The good;
Service was excellent, mostly everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond. Special shout outs to David at the market breakfast buffet, Nick who gave amazing poolside facials and massages, the anquasize guy, and the ladies who made my smoothie and omelettes each morning! And the ice cream staff who probly saw my kids at least five times a day!
Food was so good! From the buffet to the ala Cart restaurants, I thought the food was fantastic! Bartenders were also great!
I’m not sure if it was busy season or not but I never felt like it was crowded which was nice, people did reserve beach chairs early and there were vip chairs reserved but we never had a problem finding 6-8 chairs together. The beach was also beautiful and kept my kids collecting shells most of the day.
Waterpark, trampoline park, and playground were also great, and my kids loved it. I recommend the monkey tour because that was really cool too!
The entertainment was absolutely fantastic! We saw the Mexican show, neon humans, Fire and Water show, and Michael Jackson. I do wish they did more in the lobby area at night though, it got kind of boring later into the night after shows were done.
The bad;
1) Zen restaurant, while the food was fantastic the first night we went there was for my friends 50th birthday ( the whole reason for the trip) and it was the first time we received bad service, the waiter just didn’t want to be there, and I’m not sure if there was a huge language barrier but stuff got missed, my son didn’t get his Mac and cheese until everyone was pretty much done eating, and I don’t think the waiter smiled once, he wasn’t personable and it’s too bad because it was supposed to be a special night. When we returned on the last day to try and get a teppanyaki table for our last nite it was closed which was frustrating because I had spoke to the concierge that morning and he had told me to show up at 530 if we wanted the table, I think he should have known it would have been closed that day.
2) the vacation planners, we had booked an excursion earlier in the week, and then found out that was a busy day at the resort for kids so we wanted to change it but there was nothing available. We told him we were going to look at other options our travel agent had sent and he told us as long as we cancel before 3 the day before it would be fine ( the excursion started at 8am) my friend was very clear when she asked “oh so it doesn’t have to exactly 24 hours” the guy said no, when we showed up to cancel we were told we couldn’t because we were too late (showed up about 1030ish). The manager defended his staff would not do anything. It felt scammy, make sure you do what’s in the contract in writing and don’t rely on information from them. On the plus side the excursion was great and we are glad we went.
3) the first day there at about 7am (I think) the hotel phone started ringing, and we got about 3 more calls that day asking us to come down to receive some promotions. My friend and I ended up sitting and listening to a sales pitch for a half hour to convince us to do a breakfast that would take an hour and a half on one of our days to talk about time shares. Had I known I would have said no right away, we did say no to the breakfast so received nothing for our time wasted. I also didn’t like the upselling of wine at Toro, and the marketing team targeting people at the pool and beach. I don’t expect that stuff at a 5 star resort.
Overall I’d stay again in a heartbeat though, but I’d take the lessons of planning my excursion before my stay with my travel agent, not falling for “promotions”, and I’d go early in the trip for a teppanyaki table. I also think it would be nice for the resort to put out the weeks schedule earlier than the Monday it starts on because when we were booking the excursion we didn’t know what we were planning around.

We had the most amazing vacation at the hard rock Hotel in the Minor Riviera. We were there for 11 days in total and the service and the staff were absolutely amazing. From check in to check out room service was absolutely amazing and always nice and warm when we received it we stayed in the presidential suite where we had a personal assistant, and I would recommend this to everyone this made my vacation, seamless and easy to navigate a resort of this large our assistants Moises and Paola We’re absolutely amazing from booking tours for us during the day bowling at the resort anything we possibly wanted right up to getting my nails painted it was absolutely amazing booking dinner reservations every night. They did an absolutely wonderful job and what topped the whole trip off was the fact that I celebrated my 49th birthday here and they came out to the pool with three attendance named Aaron, Sinai & Carmelo and saying happy birthday to me and brought me a nice sweet treat and it was absolutely amazing and then when I got up to my room, there was birthday balloons up there, confetti on my bed, a birthday banner and more treats and champagne they were to die for it. It was absolutely amazing Moses and Paola Went above and beyond my expectations for this resort and I appreciated everything they did for us. We look forward to coming back again in the future. The ocean view was absolutely amazing. The kids had a great time. We drank a lot, and the food was absolutely amazing. we never had one bad experience at any restaurant while we were visiting. We recommend this resort to absolutely everybody if they’re looking for a little adult time a little family time or just a nice quiet getaway.

It was our first time staying at Moon Palace Resort. The resort is very well mantained and clean. Things are quite organized from welcoming, check-in/check-out, transportation within and between hotels to events and activities. You can easily fill your day with many daily shows and activities in the resort. As a family with kids under the age of 12, we found the Playroom is a treasure. It is a place for kids under 12 to play with many options from movie, jungle gym, arcade games, trampolins... to fenced in outdoor games. You can leave your kids there for few hours (they have very good security measures to make sure only you or an authorized person can pick up your kids) while you can check out some adult only bars.
At night in November, mosquitos are extreme. We sat outside for dinner few days. We had great dinners, so did the mosquitos. We will definitely bring a bug spray next time.
Everything is through their app, which runs a bit slow but fine on Android.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. The sale team is very persistent.
The resort's private airport transfer service is very professional and on time.

Just came back from moon palace nizuc. It was the nicest all inclusive hotel property I've ever been to. We spent 8 days, stayed at Nizuc but went to Sunrise and the Grand multiple times for the pools, Waterpark and restaurants. All the restaurants were very good. My favorites being the Japanese and Italian. The Indian was the rest of the families favorite. We spent all day at the pools, water park, or surf rider park. Even played pickle ball, mini golf and went for a bike ride. The property is huge, but it's nice to walk around, or take golf cart shuttles. All the staff are incredibly friendly. There are apparently 8000 rooms but honestly we had no issues with chairs at the pool, or getting a table at a restaurant. Every evening they have shows, all the ones we watched were excellent. Michael Jackson, a fire show, a glow in the dark dancers. It was an excellent vacation. Would definitly recommend

This was our second time here. We came for our Honeymoon & back again for our 10 year Anniversary. Very cool to see The Grand built now, when we were here previously they had just started clearing the land. We have never had an issue or bad experience here. In fact, we were upgraded. If you like Birdwatching, it was worth it. They have a really sweet gal that shows you where all the beauties are hidden. We saw 26 different species. If you like Immersive eating experiences- try Monarca it was worth the money.

Wonderful resort, location, staff, food, and rooms, would recommend to anyone without hesitation. My wife and I had a great time relaxing by the pool or by the ocean on the plentiful recliners, while the kids really enjoyed the activities and being able to sneak up to the coffee shop for sweets whenever they wanted! Beautiful, clean grounds, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and fun! I liked that it was smaller than other resorts I have stayed at and felt far more relaxed than others. Special shout out to the staff at the pool bar and grill who were hustling all day and to Sebastian, the resort photographer who gave us the best (and most fun) family photos we have had in 25 years together. We have already booked our stay for next year!

We have been to different Moon Palace resorts and Playacar Palace is among few of our top favorites so far. Its a boutique style resort in Playa del carmen and has so many positives about it.
The service here is unmatched. The staff is so good and does everything possible to make your stay memorable. Whether its the staff at the restaurants, or the staff at the pool side, bar, kids day care or at the spa everyone gave their 💯% and made sure we are having a good time and getting good service.
The location of this resort is unmatched. As soon as we step out of the resort, we are at 5th Avenue which is filled with amazing shops , restaurants, a nice mall and ferry to Cozumel island is steps away as well. It felt like we are right in the center of all fun. Its so safe to step outside as its all touristy area and police presence is there in that area.
Car rentals like Hertz were also steps away. So we were able to rent car and do certain excursions like cenotes ourselves. If you are planning to do cenote during the stay our favorite is Cenote Azul.
We also did a day trip to Cozumel and visited Cozumel Palace through ferry which was also quite easy and fun.
The restaurants at the resort were nice and the nightly entertainment was also good.
Rooms were good size with jacuzzi and we had the perfect ocean view from room.
The pool here was not as big as other moon palace resorts as well as not too deep to swim properly so that could be considered as a small negative. But we were still able to enjoy it fully. Again the swim up bar was great and the staff kept planning some activities at the pool as well.
Hot tub was nice and everyone enjoyed it.
Beach was really nice and to our surprise had no Sargassam when we visited. So we were pleasantly surprised with the nice Beach.
Overall if you like boutique size resorts with amazing food and service, this could definitely be a place for you. Its perfect for couples as well as families that enjoy stepping out of the resort without worrying about safety as overall that whole Playa del carmen 5th Avenue area feels very safe and perfect for tourists.
We will definitely be returning back again!!

The stay was truly amazing, great waiters/waitresses, great food selection and the views are great.. I have to give this resort a ⭐️ due to the trust & confidence I’ve lost in the safety of leaving items in the room..
The way the situation was handled by the public relations manager onsite on October 8, 2025 was purely unprofessional. I could not speak with a General Manager on site about the situation. This truly made me feel as if I’m lying about what was missing. I remained cordial, respectful during the process..
The internal “investigation” was never properly updated nor closed with me personally prior to my departure which meant that it was conducted for customer appeasement and at the end, it was truly unprofessional for these actions to occur. It was offered to contact the local police authorities.. However, I put my trust and confidence that the managers of this resort will due it’s diligence in this case to rectify this issue.
As of October 10, 2025, No one has verbally contacted myself personally to close out the investigation properly as E-responses are written on this review about what was offered which again, is truly professional.
I solicit to future travelers, please be cognizant of your stay. I am not writing this review out of anger, just expressing my experience.. At this time, I will not recommend this resort.

Like always, the Palace Resorts never ceases to amaze me! It is a brilliant all-inclusive resort with a variety of food and drink options and the service is very great! Even though it’s smaller than some of its sister locations, it’s still a great place to stay at. Can’t go wrong with the Palace Resorts!

hyatt zilara cancun is hands down one of the best resorts i’ve ever been to. from the moment we arrived, the service was on point — every staff member was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make the trip stress-free.
the rooms were spotless, spacious, and had that luxury feel without being over the top. the food and drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere across the resort made it impossible not to relax and have fun.
what really stood out to me was the vibe — it wasn’t just a vacation, it felt like an experience. everything from the pools to the nightlife to the little details in hospitality made it a trip i’ll never forget.
i’ve stayed at nice resorts before, but this one set a new bar. highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind, meet great people, and create memories that stick with you.

I recently stayed at Hyatt Zilara Cancun, and it truly exceeded all expectations. This all-inclusive resort is absolutely amazing — from the beautifully designed rooms to the outstanding hospitality, everything was top-notch.
All the on-site restaurants are excellent, each offering a unique dining experience with great food and service. A special shout-out goes to the breakfast buffet, which was simply incredible with its wide variety and freshness.

Management is horrendous. Since 2022, it tried to monetize everything in an all inclusive, like pool chairs. They would have charged for use of the sand if they could.,but Mexico has public beaches. $70 for a steam and sauna. The room service was ‘mediocre except for the breakfast. Not up the standards of the Royal and they post fake reviews, including time when the hotel is closed for renovations. Hopefully there will be new management. The service staff is great, though. They are the saving grace of the resort.

My husband and I stayed at this resort for our honeymoon Sept of '24. I cannot express enough how much we loved this resort!
The hospitality was top notch. Everyone greeted us with a smile and wished us a good stay.
Checking in and out was easy. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and a cold towel.
When I booked this resort I mentioned that it was our honeymoon. Our room had rose petals on the bed, chocolates, and champagne. That was so thoughtful.
The food was delicious. Which is a big deal for us. We enjoyed getting breakfast at the buffet Spice. They had fresh fruit every morning, food was delicious, and there were so many options.
Maria Marie is a great Mexican restaurant. I ordered green enchiladas and they were fabulous. The margaritas were so good.
The Asian cuisine was delicious. There was also a hibachi grill upon reservations. We got a bottle of red wine that the server recommended and it was tasty. The servers never pressured with addition cost for drinks.
Punta Vista had great seafood and steak. We enjoyed the scenery view of the beach. The food was so good.
During our stay hurricane Helene passed by and it was extremely windy and rainy. We were fortunate that it far away enough. The staff was so quick to mop the floors and check on their guest. We felt well taken cared for. (our hearts go out to the families and persons who were affected by hurricane Helene. It was so devastating.) Our room was clean and the bed was so comfortable.
Night entertainment was fabulous. We loved it. We really enjoyed that there wasnt a club or loud guest. It's an adults only resorts and everyone was drinking responsibly.
The pools were clean and they played great music. The pool bartenders were amazing with the drink flow and remembered our order.
The beach was so clean. Every morning and evening staff were raking seaweed and cleaning the beach. Smaller beach area but it was perfect for us.
We went into the jewelry store in the resort. They had so many beautiful pieces. We bought my wedding band from there and I've gotten so many comcompliments.
Zen spa was so lux. We booked a couples massage and it was amazing and relaxing. We got to spend time in the spa pool, steam room, and sauna. It felt so luxurious.
I totally recommend this resort. It's has left an amazing impression.
We recently were in Cancun. My husband and I were walking down the beach and we saw that Zilara is under going renovations. Once they open we're definitely going to book a stay. We love it that much!

An amazing vacation spot! The resort is beautiful with breathtaking ocean views and a perfect location surrounded by clear blue water. We stayed at Hyatt Ziva Riviera Maya and had such a great family experience! 🌴 It’s definitely one of the best family-friendly resorts — tons of activities for kids, super clean rooms, and beautiful pools all around. Even though we went during rainy season (which was a bit of a bummer), the staff did an amazing job moving shows and entertainment indoors so we could still enjoy everything.
We didn’t get to do any excursions since our daughter is only 2 and still needs her naps 😅, but she was still so entertained by the nightly performances and fun atmosphere. Overall, it was the perfect mix of relaxation and family fun — we’ll definitely be back! 💛

We just got back from Hyatt Ziva Cancun and it was easily one of the best trips we’ve ever had. Everything about this resort is top-notch, the staff, the service, the food, the atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely taken care of.
We were celebrating both a birthday and our wedding anniversary, and the team at Hyatt Ziva went above and beyond to make it extra special.
A special shoutout to Eduardo at the Club lobby bar, he was so attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome every time we stopped by. Juliana at the pool (Club side) was also incredible, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and going out of her way to take care of us with a smile.
The resort itself is stunning, the food was consistently delicious, and the level of service is honestly unmatched. We’ve stayed at a lot of places, but Hyatt Ziva Cancun set a new standard. Without a doubt, a full 5 stars, we can’t wait to come back!

This was our first time at an all-inclusive resort, and we brought our toddler along. After months of research (and a nice Chase boost offer), we decided on Hyatt Ziva Cancun.
When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by staff and handed cold towels which was a nice touch after traveling. A team member gave us a quick rundown of the property as he walked us to check-in. Side note: he did try to sign us up for a timeshare presentation the next day, offering a free cabana and massage as an incentive. It was a bit lowkey but easy to spot but just a heads up for future guests.
Once checked in, we found the hotel to be very clean, beautiful, and full of friendly staff. The pools and beaches are conveniently close to the rooms. They also have activities throughout the day, and have a kids club where you can leave your kiddo (4-12 y/o I think).
There are plenty of dining options - some great, some just okay. The buffet was consistently solid and offered different dishes daily. La Bastille was a lovely spot for a more elegant dinner, and Habaneros was perfect for seafood by the water.
Our room was cleaned multiple times a day, and the housekeeping team was always cheerful. One small downside: the coffee at the café wasn't great, but it did the job. Also, the resort has captive dolphins, which felt a bit sad to see though they seemed well cared for.
Overall, it was a wonderful first all-inclusive experience. We wouldn't be opposed to coming back!

We had an outstanding experience with our butlers, Eddie (Eduardo) and Roger at Unico Riviera Maya. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and responsive. Every request we had—whether it was dinner reservations, golf bookings, excursions, seats by the pool or massages—was handled quickly and effortlessly.
They consistently checked in to make sure our family had everything we needed and responded immediately to any issues. When our cabana was without power, Eddie personally came by to expedite the fix and made sure the problem was resolved without delay.
Their professionalism and genuine care truly elevated our stay. We were extremely satisfied with the way they took care of our entire family, and we’re grateful for the exceptional service they provided. Highly recommend!

I’ll start with the hospitality and guest services were very good. Everyone so friendly and helpful and took us immediately to our rooms and even leaving they made sure we had the right travel group van.
Came straight to our room and it was absolutely gorgeous we had the swim up king. Room was very clean and beautiful. The pools here were awesome too quiet and loud pools for partying all available. We never went in the swim up but it was nice too.
The restaurants were incredible, all of them. The breakfast buffet had so many selections and all of them incredible. The Italian spot our waiter was so friendly and nice and the food was so good.
Only reason I’m giving this place 4/5 stars is because the room service for food is absolutely terrible. We ordered 6 times throughout our 4 day stay and it only came once haha. The one time it did come it was like a meal for a small child. It kinda became funny by the end cause it’s a complete toss up if you’re going to get anything.

This was my first experience at an all-inclusive resort and I cannot wait to go back.
The staff is incredible. Every single person we interacted with seemed to truly enjoy working there. I really want to emphasize how much the staff contributed to making our stay special. Our "local host" was Karla, and I can't recommend her enough. She went out of her way to help us so many times.
Overall the resort has a really relaxing atmosphere, but there's also a "party pool," if you're into that. We chose to do absolutely nothing but relax the entire week, but there are quite a few activities to keep you busy.
The architecture, art, and overall aesthetic of the resort is gorgeous. It's full of Mexican and Mayan art and locally made furniture- It feels authentic and homey.
I highly recommend getting a massage. We got a couple's massage and it was the best massage I've ever gotten in my life.

I stayed here for 4 days with my fiancé. The grounds are meticulously maintained, pools are nice, and also thought the room was nice and large, except for some minor maintenance issues. The service was generally good, though I got very annoyed by a pushy staff member at check in trying to get us to attend a session where we would surely be sold things. I politely declined but she still pressed for us to attend. We loved laying by the pool, the pool service was good, and were very satisfied with the pool food. As typical, the pool drinks are very light on liquor. You have to know what to order.
The biggest disappointment was the restaurants for dinner. We thought all the ones we tried were poor: Italian, Mexican, Japanese. I would have said the Japanese was OK, but we got food poisoning from there. The Italian pasta dish "carbonara" was pitiful and tasted like butter noodles. It was also too hard to get a reasonable reservation time for dinner. Also, when we had a reservation time, we still twice waited 15-30 minutes to be seated.
We did like the concierge service via WhatsApp and Luis was very helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, we enjoyed our time, but we won't be returning because of the dinner dining experience. I'm sure there are better options out there in the Caribbean at similar price point.

Hard Rock Cancun is a great hotel. The staff go above and beyond in everything.
Drinks by the pool were amazing - Aldo was an amazing bar tender.
Food was outstanding - the pizza by the pool was delicious. Huge variety and great quality. We loved every single restaurant especially Toro. Zen was also great and wonderful experience - Staff were very nice. Marcelino and Angelo were great. Ciao is also lovely.
Kids club was wonderful and convenient - Ale, Abby, Andy and Eve from the Roxity kids club were very patient and caring. They were really nice with our children who spent a lot of time with them.
Entertainment was so much fun and they constantly had different activities all the time.
Hotel rooms are nice but a little outdated (especially the washrooms).
Definitely a great experience and wonderful stay.

The service at this hotel has been immaculate! The people are so friendly and truly treat your family like their own. Food and drinks were great, and the beach is beautiful with white sand and turquoise water.
A special shout out to employee Beto Poot who served us at the Frida buffet many times. He went above and beyond to make a connection with our family , and always made sure our mimosa glasses were full! Another special shout out to Ale, Andi and Abby at the Roxity kids club. Our boys had a blast playing there and the ladies who run this club are wonderful!
Any time we needed help with something during our stay there was always someone available to ask and they were very quick to fix anything that went wrong.
We would absolutely stay here again ! Thank you Hard Rock for a week full of memories.

My wife and I booked a last-minute trip for Thanksgiving. We were definitely welcomed by the group at hard rock like always check-in was very easy. Our room was in a great location, everybody from our butlers Luis and Roberto to the legendary staff along with bartenders waiters and waitresses everybody makes you feel like family. It’s one of the things we love about the hard rock group and about Mexico. The location for this hotel is absolutely beautiful. It’s easy to get to and from the airport. This is one of hard rocks, older locations. It is starting to show its age a little bit, but the hard rock group is remodeling and the stuff that has been done so far looks amazing. We will definitely be back in the future anybody looking for a simple resort to get to from the airport with amazing staff from front of the house to back of the house. This is somewhere that you need to consider the energy and feeling of the hard rock is felt through the entire property.

Samuel at reception, was great very friendly and helpful with all the information he provided. He helped arrange some extras for me and my wife.
Edgardo at the Ciao restaurant, he was our waitor and made the experience absolutely lovely informing us of all the options and advising on the food. Was an absolute pleasure to have him as our waitor.
Chef Carlos at the Ciao restaurant, the food he prepared was absolutely amazing.
And lastly I want to thank Jessy. So far she has helped arrange the room so I could surprise my wife. She decorated the room and made it look absolutely stunning (if you want to do something special for your partner she is the perfect person to speak with), she ensured that the room was prepared, she also arranged with the restaurants to ensure that they were informed of our diet requirements in advance, arranged a lovely day for us on the beach front and her service and support has been nothing but 5 star. Each day she has ensured that we are ok and if there is any questions we had she has helped with this. She is an absolute asset to The Hard Rock Hotel and should be recognised for the lovely support she gives to the guests here and for having made our stay an absolute pleasure so far. The Hard Rock Cancun delivered on every promise. The property is beautiful, clean, and right on a pristine beach. Our room had a killer ocean view that I’m going to miss waking up to.
What made this trip special was the Roxity Kids Club. Usually, vacations with kids mean "work in a different location," but not here. My daughter loved to go to the club every day because she was having so much fun. That gave us guilt-free time to hit the spa and lounge by the pool. Combine that with great food and 24/7 room service, and you have the perfect vacation. We will be back!

I do not know how this place calls itself a luxury resort. From the moment we arrived, the service was a complete disaster. We were not even assigned a butler at check in. We waited a day and a half before someone finally showed up. When we did get a butler, he was completely non responsive. We had to call the front desk every single day just to get basic things like towels and room service. Nothing was handled with care or urgency.
The hospitality was awful across the board. Staff seemed indifferent and not interested in helping with anything. The food was another major disappointment. The only things that tasted decent were the pizza and nachos by the pool. The lunch buffet near the check in area was just okay, but everything else was bland or poorly made.
On top of all that, I paid for a birthday package for my son’s twenty second birthday. It included balloons and a cake that was delivered to our room. After we had two slices, I asked multiple staff members for a box so we could store the rest of the cake. After being bounced around and ignored, I was finally told they did not have a single box available. The rest of the cake went to waste. It was ridiculous and just added to the disappointment.
My sister got married there and our group brought this resort over forty thousand dollars in revenue. You would think they would treat us well, but our entire party left frustrated and unhappy. None of us will ever return. I would not recommend this place to a single person. Not even a rat. Completely horrible.

Having a blast during our second visit to TRS Coral. The grounds are gorgeous, and between the golf carts and the free boat rides, getting around is super easy. The food options are plentiful, truly something for every palate. You get access to all the restaurants on the Grand Palladium property, not just TRS, and there are some absolute gems at the main resort. Kudos to Bhogali with Chef Deepak and La Adelita (our server Gil was great and kept our drinks full all night). At Adelita, Luis the sommelier did offer us a premium wine bottle menu, and even though we didn't end up getting a bottle, he was very nice, didn't pressure us, and spent some time at our table sharing about the history of wine in Mexico. You couldn't ask for a nicer staff at a resort, and honestly, the guest population is pretty fab too. We've made so many friends during our stays here! The entertainment was a very welcome surprise -- we're normally pretty disappointed in the shows at all-inclusive resorts like this, but loved the more intimate, up close shows that were put on at TRS Coral. The magic show by the magician HB was so fun and made me feel like a kid in the best way. Way more polished than your average act, and crowd work was top notch. I have the feeling we're going to be back here soon!

This hotel really gave us mixed feelings, some parts were amazing, like the view and the atmosphere (but we booked ocean view and it was blocked by trees) all the bars service were awesome. Lunches and breakfast were great.
However, the dinner experiences were not so good. Starting with one dinner we thought was fantastic and flawless BEFORE checking out. We went to El Gaucho, the server was extremely nice to us, offering to take pics for us and all those. We weren’t planning to order any bottled wines coz there’s free house wine and we don’t tell difference between wines honestly. But he was so kind and recommended one bottle and said it was only 25usd. We were 10000% sure we heard 25usd, both me and my partner, that’s the only reason we were like okay it’s cheap so why not. (I even search the wine on wine searcher and the price was around 20). However, the bill said 75usd. In the end, we were kinda tipsy (the server also offered us 4 tequila shots at the end) and were really enjoying our dinner, so we signed the bill without confirming. When checking out we notice the price is NOT AT ALL what the server mentioned, and we have no evidence to prove that he said 25usd. So we have to pay it.
And for the other three nights of dinner. First night at the French, the waitress got our order wrong. I pointed on the menu specific for her, she also comes again with a menu asking what I ordered. During the dinner, I asked her for three times is our foie gras coming, but we never got it. And for main we ordered duck but she gave us pork, it tastes fine so we didn’t say anything.
Last night at el gaucho, the server got our order wrong again. He’s in training so we were fine about it, but I guess just wasn’t some best experience.
Lastly, we lost an earring in the room. We left it on the bedside table and when we return it was gone. Obviously we have no proof whatsoever if the maid sweep it away or something, but it did had quite a lot sentimental value and we didn’t find it.
I do want to compliment the butler service. Our butler was friendly and helpful and replies instantly.
Overall, it’s hard to say if I’d recommend it. For the view of course, but do be cautious of any additional charge you might pay.

While not everything at TRS Coral is five-star, the staff absolutely is. Every team member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. Our butlers, Hector and Ivan, were outstanding and handled all our dining and activity reservations with patience and kindness. Pool and bar service was excellent, especially Fernando (“Speedy Gonzales”), who took great care of us at our swim-up pool. Dining servers—especially at El Gaucho—and the Thanksgiving brunch staff were also fantastic. We also loved interacting with the activities team. Dante, Alan, and the rest of the staff made every activity fun, engaging, and entertaining. And finally, housekeeping did an incredible job. Our room was perfectly made up each day and turned down beautifully every night.
The rooms were comfortable but show some wear, and while the food was mostly just okay, the Italian restaurant and Thanksgiving brunch stood out. One downside on the adults-only TRS side is the lack of quick snack options.
Unfortunately, check-in was the most frustrating part of our stay. When we arrived, the resort did not have us listed in swim-up rooms, and our family ultimately ended up in separate buildings.
Overall: The staff truly made our stay special. With better reservation management and refreshed rooms, TRS Coral could fully match the incredible service their team already delivers.

However no welcome drink given and we had to carry our own bags to the room, the gentlemen that showed us where our room was located we later realized he was a spa salesperson and only did it to get a sale from us which we declined
This place prioritizes spa sales over customer service. Everywhere we go there was someone trying to approach us on the resort to book the spa. I wish they would use these sales people for other tasks.
Our room: Upon entering our room we were greeted with a moldy smell and towels all had stains on them. We asked for replacements and which also had stains.I recommend they use bleach for towels to get stains removed as a 5star resort we expect these little things to be perfect.
Food:
Out of all the resorts I’ve been to this one dropped the ball when it came to food.
Pros:
The hot tub in the balcony and the lounges was a nice treat to get back to.
The beach was amazing and clear only one day it was murky after a night of rain.
The butler service was on point, they helped save the day many times and their responses were quick and timely.
The resort in itself is very nice and massive, the boat shuttles was a nice little treat.
They also cleaned the rooms twice a day which was quite nice and good to come back to after being out all day.
The French restaurant is a must such amazing food and experience. All the restaurants are well designed and decorated inside.
Overall this resort is not bad if they can work on customer service and food it will indeed be a 5star

Our stay at Beach Palace Resort was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional service. The entire staff was attentive and friendly, but Joshua stood out as by far our favorite server. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made every meal extra special—we genuinely looked forward to seeing him each day!
The resort itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained. Our room was spacious and clean. We loved lounging by the beach and the pool, both of which were peaceful and never overcrowded.
Dining was a highlight—every restaurant offered fresh, delicious food with a great variety. The rooftop bar and views were unforgettable, especially at sunset.
We left completely relaxed and already dreaming of our next visit. Thank you, Beach Palace, for an incredible experience—and a huge thank you to Joshua for making it even more memorable!

I stayed at Beach Palace towards the end of July and had my wedding here. I had a wedding of about 70 people.
Overall, I had a pretty good experience. I enjoyed all the food I had on the resort. I enjoyed all of the drinks. I slept great! The resort needs updates but they are about to undergo renovations, so excited to see how it looks after. The bartenders were attentive and fun. I enjoyed the Sky Terrace bar the most. The view from up there was very nice.
I had my ceremony on the top of the Sky Terrace.
The ceremony was beautiful. The view of the ocean was great. It was hot up there for sure because it was July but they had a water station up there for people to stay hydrated.
We ended up having to have our reception in the ballroom instead of the Sky Terrace because the chance of rain was too high (25%). I was not a fan of the carpet in the ballroom so hopefully with the renovation maybe they could update the flooring in there. The decoration was beautiful, though. I had so much food to choose from for the wedding which was wonderful and it was all included. The DJ did a great job. We had a great time at the reception, though I don't think the AC was working properly because it was too hot in there.
Overall the planning of the wedding with the resort went well. Sometimes I think there may have been some miscommunication which required a lot of back and forth. Aranza was very nice and did try to make sure I was happy even when we ran into some hiccups here and there.
The photographers and videographers were very nice and did a great job. They got all the images we asked for in the alotted time we reserved and helped us pose. The photos and videos came out beautiful. Be aware that when you receive your photos, you choose the photosyou want, and if you go over the amount in the package, the prices per photo are expensive.
Overall, I had a good stay and wedding at the resort! Majority of my friends and family did as well.
Cons that occurred during my stay or my guests' stay:
-Had some issues with some of my wedding guests booking their complimentary shuttle service with the service showing up as not complimentary. Make sure to book way ahead of time because you may need to reach out to fix this with the resort.
-I am extremely afraid of bees and really wanted artificial flowers because of that fear, but they would't allow artificial flowers. They reassured me that they would spray a deterant on the flowers so I wouldn't have to deal with the bees but there were too many bees during the ceremony so it was pretty distracting for me. I was trying to hold my composure at the alter but you could see it in the wedding video and photos. I think maybe artificial flowers should be allowed in cases like this to prevent this.
-My brother and cousin had a room booked together but my cousin arrived first. Since the room was booked by my brother as Adult 1, they would not let her check in until he arrived. So she ended up waiting a couple of hours before she could check in until my brother arrived to the resort. I think they really need to change this policy if this is their policy because not everyone will always arrive at the same time if they are flying from different places and since she was Adult 2, they should have let her check in without him being there. The same issue arose with the airport shuttle. This is an issue that needs to be resolved for people who visit in the future.
- Unfortunately one of my guests had issues with her toilet and waited quite a long time for check in. Also, she was pregnant and asking for non alcoholic drinks, they kept giving her alcoholic drinks.
-My dad and brother had issues with their room service meals coming cold.
-I dont think the AC in the ballroom during the reception was working/up to capacity. It was hot in there and they said they would look into it, but it never was fixed/resolved.
- The water pressure for the jacuzzis in the rooms was very low and the water in the shower would sometimes be cool when it should be hot. Hopefully renovations fix that.

Having been to a few other all-inclusive locations in the area, this has been our favorite spot. The customer service is AMAZING, anywhere from the personable and fun bartenders to the great servers at every restaurant. Don't sweat about their drink menu, as the most fun you will have, is if let you the bartender go wild and have them make something random. Some of the crazy drinks on the rooftop bar and pool, or the main pool downstairs made the trip so special. The level of INSANE detail they take when caring for your allergies is top notch as well. They track that down to the simplest things like ordering wings at the poolside bar. This was our friends first trip to Cancun and they had an amazing first experience, and we will be coming back next year after the renovations.

I am at the beach palace right now. Had the best day on Saturday at the pool with my family. Staff is welcoming and very attentive. We absolutely loved our bartender, the ladies at the kids club and Eugenia, who has been so diligent in cleaning and maintaining our room. We love the food, the atmosphere of this small and cozy hotel. It is in need of renovations which we understand is coming soon.
However, I want to point out that we feel “robbed” of a day of relaxation when we were almost forced to participate in the time share presentation to gain a free day pass to the Grand. Right when we were presented with this option (upon or arrival to the hotel) we denied it saying our family carefully chose the beach palace due to its great reviews and we were looking forward to spending great relaxing days here, which is what we came to Cancun for. Rosario was quick to point to the TV with all the “amazing activities” at The Grand and lured our kids to it. She told us that after 1 afternoon at the Beach Palace we would be so bored that we could not pass this opportunity. So finally we agreed to go on Sunday and let me tell you it was the opposite of what our family needed. As with all Time shares, we were pressured to purchase the membership, the presentation took way over 1 hour and a half and my kids were overstimulated (I have a neurodivergent daughter). The waterpark although great was not what we needed or wanted. We are from Orlando so in comparison with what we have there, this place was not the experience we were looking for in Cancun. And Rosario knew that because we told her so.
After we said no to the presentation we were left at the Grand with very minimal information on what to do and where to go. They kept sending us from place to place before granting our say passes. The hotel is beautiful but again, NOT what our family needed or wanted, especially on this day since it was my husband’s birthday. We came for a relaxing time and yesterday was the opposite of it. We only have 2 more days in Cancun which are booked with tours and we will not get to spend another relaxing day at the pool like we wanted to because we were made to believe that missing the opportunity to go to the Grand would highly impact our stay.
This experience has highly impacted our stay and our view of this place. Would give more stars if it weren’t for it as we believe The Beach Palace is still what our family needed. I think it’ll look great after renovations. Just hope they’ll stop luring people to go on time share presentations because even though they say it isn’t time share, that’s exactly what it is!

Thanksgiving week 2025.
We had a great week at Moon Palace The Grand. The property is beautiful, the beach is clean thanks to the seaweed barrier, and the staff throughout the resort are consistently warm, attentive, and professional. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, and the app made ordering amenities easy. The resort’s size brings a lot of variety, from shows to restaurants to wildlife you don’t often see at a smaller property.
The Thanksgiving dinner event had some operational challenges, mainly due to everyone arriving at the same time and a single check-in point that created a bottleneck. The atmosphere, food variety, and live music were all strong elements, and with a few adjustments—such as staggered entry times, clearer station signage, and more flexible seating—the overall experience could work extremely well. The foundation was good; it just needed better flow and communication to match the effort put into the production.
The biggest area that needs clearer communication is the resort credit system. We booked spa and excursions before arrival without knowing about category caps or the 16% service fees, which led to unexpected charges at checkout. The staff ultimately resolved the issue, and the sales team was polite and respectful throughout, but clearer upfront guidance would help guests avoid surprises. Overall, it’s a beautiful resort with excellent service, and we would return—with a better understanding of how the credit system works.

This is the most luxurious hotel I've ever been to. We stayed at the Nizuk but after doing a sales presentation we're given 2 days worth of day passes for my family. Kids loved the Waterpark and video game area. My mom loved the relaxing adult pools. The restaurants we went to were fantastic. The breakfast buffet was huge and had a massive selection of food. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly. Only negative I saw the whole time I was there, there were a very rude couple from Sunrise arguing with the workers at the beach coconut stand. A few Grand members spoke up to defend the workers, then this couple started being belligerent to the other guests of the hotel. Staff had to come and remove the Sunrise guests from the Grand property. But the Grand is definitly a luxurious hotel in every aspect.

Great waterpark, decent beach, dated rooms, above average food at the restaurants. Greens and fairways in good shape. Overall a great value for all inclusive.
The service is lacking. The staff tried their best for the most part but the fact that the resort was overbooked didn’t help.
Bell boy lost our bag the day we checked in, they found it after 3 hours. Kids couldn’t go in the pool/beach till then. Long wait times for shuttles, food and drinks. Didn’t get the pizza that I ordered by room service one night (room service claims they knocked on my door and left after no one answered). Didn’t bother ringing door bell or calling. Kids slept hangry.
When paying $1100/night for a room you expect a certain level of service which you cannot expect here during long weekends. I love leaving 5 star reviews for businesses, but I feel a little disappointed this time. Had a pleasant experience when visited last time in 2022.

We came to stay at the Grand in 2022. Experience was so phenomenal that we saved up for our 2nd stay in November 2025. Most everything was as good as the first time except room quality and housekeeping service. We were warned about the sales pitch so we never took the bait. Note worthy improvement over 3 years ago is the addition of indoor bounce house and expansion of game room for the kids. Also, they have some great show in the “Theater”. Here money talks! If you want good service, you have gotta tip. A couple of bucks go a long way!

Aside from this resort being over crowded, unclean, and the food being subpar what really put me over the edge was that myself, my mom, and my dad all had money stolen. At first we thought it was about $200 missing, but after we discovered that we all had money taken it totaled to over $700! Yes, we should have put it into the safe, but we have not had any issues at other resorts we've stayed at so we did not even think to do so. What is disturbing, is that our money was in places that the house keeping would have had to SEARCH for. It is a sickening feeling thinking of someone going through your belongings.
We reached out to the staff but they did not seem to care. After reading reviews, sadly it appears that this is a common issue at the resort. The management is able to tell who cleans which rooms, and when, so clearly this is just an issue that they do not care to address or fix. So sickened and disappointed.

We had a fantastic girl's trip at Atelier!
It is a beautiful resort with Excellent food and Excellent service! We had a room with a swim out pool that came with the butler service of Martin and Aline. They provided prompt communication, information, insights, suggestions and generally went over and above to make our stay relaxing and comfortable.
The service was so conscientious at all of the restaurants and pools it was rare when we had to specifically ask for things to be done. The staff aimed to make us feel at home and welcomed everywhere we went.
We found the grounds, rooms, pools and spa to be well maintained. I thought the beds were especially comfortable. The top shelf alcohol in our rooms and high quality snacks - we occasionally had to specifically request them to be replaced. But once mentioned, they were promptly replaced.
The variety and quality of the food and drinks were truly impressive. We all agreed that we would return to this resort if the opportunity presented itself.

We had an awesome time here! Food was great, particularly Kopai, Abrazos, and the Mercado 19 tacos for dinner are a great staple. The Inspira rooftop pool was an amazing room choice, and the benefits of the Inspira package are well worth it. We got more than our money’s worth in food, drink and service. The cocktails are strong and skillfully made. Calle is an amazing bar and their signature drinks would easily go for $20 to $30 bucks a pop in the states. Gluten free options were always clearly marked, and I didn’t have any issues with contamination. We felt the food was diverse, well prepared, and a good blend of healthy options with plenty of fresh things to try, tuna and ceviche, salad bars, plus lots of desserts and richer entrees that still left you feeling satisfied but not sluggish. Piña coladas were absolutely amazing!
The gym is full of great equipment. Loved walking around the grounds after breakfast, but bring lots of bug spray.
Our butlers Alexis and Domingo were great at helping us settle in (the first day we had to walk around the grounds and figure out the reservation system to feel more acclimated) and they were so helpful. They made sure we had the drinks we needed in the room, ice, etc. They helped us move our dinner reservations if we needed to, and they were always available but never obtrusive.
10/10 all around perfect place for our honeymoon. A luxury destination for couples or family groups who have adult children (we saw quite a few others on family vacations too).

Altier Inspira is an amazing all inclusive resort. The dining experiences in every restaurant offers excellent, friendly knowledgeable staff, great selection of cocktails and wine. The menu offers great variety and the food is excellent and very delicious!
Our daily room maid, Rocio, is a lovely, friendly lady who obviously enjoys her work and does a magnificent job with great professionalism and dedication
Domingo and Alexis, our concierge’s attended to our every need. They kept us up-to-date on a daily basis of the activities in the resort. They also booked our dinner reservations for our evening meal. They would check with us to see if we require any other assistance and to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. This was our first time at Atelier and our stay was incredible. I spent weeks trying to find the right hotel for our vacation and I am beyond happy I picked this one. The food was incredible (and I have always been skeptical about all inclusive) and each pool had a custom drink and food menu. We stayed in the swim out inspira rooms and had Hiram and Emmanuel as our “butlers” for the week and they were INCREDIBLE. The attention to detail and first hand service was 10/10. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Just returned from a four night stay at Atelier Playa Mujeres. We had a great experience at this fantastic property, facilitated by our two butlers, Rodolfo and Yareni. All of the staff including the reception, waiters, bartenders, pool and beach staff, and butlers were very friendly and professional.
Being part of the Inspira Club was beneficial in that it gave us access to private areas, pools, and bars. The food was good at all of the restaurants we ate at and the variety was also nice. Drinks were good with top shelf liquor available.
We would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future.

It is safe to say Le Blanc Cancun is in a league of their own. Our stay was hands down the best resort experience we have ever had, truly unmatched in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like VIPs. Brandon, the reception supervisor, immediately made us feel welcome and cared for, setting the tone for what became the most seamless and luxurious vacation we have ever experienced.
Every detail at this resort is perfection. The grounds and common areas are immaculate, the rooms are spotless and beautifully maintained, and the service is on another level. Our butlers were phenomenal, always steps ahead of us, remembering our names, and anticipating every need without us ever having to ask. Raul, in particular, was incredible during the day and made us feel so looked after.
The food and drinks were outstanding at every restaurant and bar. Yama ended up being our favorite with its incredible wagyu and top-notch sushi, and Alberto was so kind during dinner one evening when I dined alone. He went out of his way to check in and keep me company throughout my meal, which made me feel so comfortable and was truly appreciated. The Blanc Buffet had a wonderful variety and presentation, Bella was elegant and flavorful, and the Lobby Bar and pool bars served the best drinks in the whole resort. Hugo at the swim-up bar kept the fun going and the cocktails flawless. Even the coffee shop and ice cream by the pool were standout experiences.
The spa was beyond anything I have ever experienced. The four-hands massage was unforgettable, and Selena was so talented and professional that I booked two more massages with her. She made the experience magical and truly elevated our trip.
Every single staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. Housekeeping kept our room immaculate, the bell staff were attentive and welcoming, and the entire team worked together so effortlessly that it created a completely stress-free, luxurious atmosphere.
If we had one small wish, it would be to have a bit more entertainment around the pool or in the evenings. While there were fun touches like bingo by the pool, a small blackjack game, live bands in the cocktail lounge, and a DJ around 10 p.m., a little more variety would be a great addition. That said, we came to relax, and we did.
Le Blanc Cancun is simply in a league of its own. The level of service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality are unmatched. This was the most amazing resort experience, and we cannot stop telling everyone about it. We are already dreaming of coming back.

I spent 3 nights at Le Blanc with my husband and a small group of friends. The service was wonderful! From pool staff, to restaurant servers, to our butler, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable, clean, and nicely appointed. For dinners, we ate at Terazza, Bella, and Yama. Yama was our best meal and quite good. Bella was disappointing. Terazza is worth it just to sit outside in the breeze with the view! The breakfast in the main restaurant was fantastic and a favorite of my whole group. I am a food person, travel for food, and enjoy a nice meal but don’t come to an all inclusive expecting fantastic food. The food at Le Blanc is the best that I’ve had at an all inclusive resort. The membership pitch wasn’t an issue at all. Someone asked us once as check-in, we said no, and that was the end of that. My only problem is that all the pool loungers were taken before 8am. People would come down and reserve them and then disappear despite a sign that says it’s not allowed. It made it hard for us to find loungers together each day.

If you are accustomed to Four Season's types of hotels and resorts, this is not the place for you. The ride from the airport to the hotel is along a less than scenic route and does not set the tone you may be expecting. Once you arrive at the hotel, you are greeted and whisked to the check in desk where you are asked if you'd like all kinds of amazing resort credits in exchange for "45" minutes of your time over breakfast the next day. God help you if you agree to this. For one, no one can exactly explain what you can use your resort credits on and two the meeting will take hours, they eventually will take you to the sales floor in the building and try to convince you to buy your vacations from them in advance for hundreds of thousands of dollars. They literally expect you to take out a mortgage to do this. It was shocking, particularly since we had only been on the premises for 18 hours. The service in the hotel is fine, the all inclusive liquor is not top shelf and the food, after a few days feels like being in a college dorm. They have several specialty restaurants which you need advance reservations for, they are unmemorable. The long and the short, we will not be going back here.
Now the good, he pool is big and clean and nice, there is a swim up bar, the spa is solid and they have free water / temp therapy at the spa all day everyday. We used this each in addition to our services (highlight of the hotel for sure).
And the bad, the crazy vacation sales people literally chased us into our taxi when we were leaving to try and push vacations on us at the last minute.

You can look at my page and see that I don’t post many negative reviews. I’m not someone who complains easily, and I always give credit where it’s due. That should tell you how genuinely disappointing this experience was.
While waiting for airport transportation, the Public Relations Manager approached us and immediately had an attitude. She said, “Remember me?” and when we said yes, she replied, “Are you sure?” She mentioned seeing my review and said she was confused since we had “accepted” the higher manager’s offer of spa credits and room upgrades for a future stay. I clarified that while I told that manager she could email them, I had also made it clear that I was dissatisfied because we received no compensation for this current trip, and I won’t be returning.
The most frustrating part throughout this entire experience was the constant passing of responsibility. At Le Blanc, management said they couldn’t do anything because our initial reservation was made through Moon Palace. Then, when I went to the Palace Elite office to cancel my membership, they told me I’d have to travel 25 minutes back to Moon Palace or send an email instead.
Maybe it’s a cultural difference, or maybe I just expect better accountability when a company markets itself as “five-diamond luxury.” Either way, I can’t justify spending that kind of money on a brand that treats its guests, and loyal members, this way.

I’ve been a VIP member since March and upgraded my membership during this vacation. I have since requested cancellation. The bartenders, servers, and other frontline staff were absolutely wonderful, but management was unhelpful and dismissive.
We started at Moon Palace, and our sales associate transferred us to Le Blanc for the second half of our stay following my membership upgrade. We were told this five-diamond resort would be “effortless” and that every detail would be handled for us. The property is beautiful, but once you look past the surface, the cracks begin to show.
During our stay, my guest accidentally flooded the bathroom, hallway, and bedroom while showering. The butler was present and asked me to knock on the door to alert her. As I walked over, I slipped and fell on the wet marble floor. Several staff members rushed to help, and while I declined medical treatment, I was left bruised and limping for the remainder of my stay.
Management later claimed nothing was wrong with the shower and took no responsibility. We were moved to an equivalent room, but items were misplaced in the process, and several were left behind. The new room had a leaking shower, a toilet that clogged, and it took three separate requests just to get a top sheet—hardly the effortless luxury experience we were promised. The only compensation offered was a short spa service already included in our package.
After speaking with three different managers, the final “resolution” was a voucher for a future room upgrade or spa treatment—neither of which addresses the time, discomfort, or disappointment experienced on this trip.
I was prepared to invest over $235,000 USD in this membership program, yet the resort could not even offer a partial cash refund or meaningful gesture of goodwill. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
Other issues observed during my stay included:
• Loose marble flooring in hallways
• Faulty elevator door sensors (closing on guests)
• Broken elevator floor indicator panels
• Misaligned automatic doors requiring guests to step within inches to activate
• Missing glass tiles in the spa area
• Ceiling leak in the gift shop (with multiple buckets placed underneath)
• Debris and wasps in the Luna pool
Minor flaws are understandable in any property, but for a resort claiming five-diamond luxury, the lack of accountability and attention to detail is unacceptable.

Le Blanc Cancun exceeded every expectation we had and gave us an experience we will treasure for a lifetime. We chose this resort for our wedding, and from start to finish, everything was flawless.
The wedding coordinator was attentive, organized, and genuinely cared about every detail, making our special day absolutely perfect. Our butler was beyond incredible, anticipating our needs before we even thought of them and ensuring we felt pampered the entire stay.
The drinks were top shelf and crafted with care, the dining was exceptional with every meal feeling like fine dining, and the pools and beach were simply stunning. Every corner of this property is immaculate, and the atmosphere is as relaxing as it is luxurious.
What truly sets Le Blanc apart is its prestigious customer service. Every single staff member made us feel valued and celebrated. It is rare that I leave a destination and say I would return to the very same hotel, but in this case, I would come back to Le Blanc Cancun without hesitation.

1. Room Condition (Very Poor)
We were placed in the non-renovated section of the resort, and the room condition was honestly terrible. The AC was extremely loud and the room stayed humid even when it was running. The bedding felt damp instead of fresh and crisp like hotel bedding should be. The hair dryer was old, made a lot of noise, and barely worked. The body soap had a strange, unpleasant smell. The sink drained very slowly. Overall, the room clearly needs major renovation.
2. Restaurants
The Italian restaurant and the steakhouse were very good. The taco stand and the nacho station by the pool were also nice and enjoyable.
3. Poolside Service
Unlike other all-inclusive resorts, there weren’t many staff members coming around the pool to take drink or food orders. We prepared plenty of small bills for tipping, but we barely had any chances to use them — we actually brought most of the bills back home.
4. Main Pool Area
At the main pool, there was a giant white wall completely blocking the view. It really took away from the atmosphere and made the pool area feel closed off.
5. Kids Pool Area
The kids’ pool had puzzle mats to prevent slipping, which is great in theory, but the mats were black and moldy. It didn’t feel clean or safe for children.
6. Noise Level Near the Room
People constantly walked by in front of our room, and the noise was not blocked at all. It kept waking up our baby throughout the stay. If your room is near the restaurant area — ours was on the 3rd floor — do not expect a quiet environment.
7. Mosquito Control
In the morning and afternoon by the pool, I got several mosquito bites, and it made the entire trip uncomfortable — even after coming back home. It didn’t seem like the resort was doing any mosquito control around the pool or garden areas.
8. Staff Communication
Many of the staff members did not speak English, which made it very difficult to communicate when we needed help or wanted to place an order. Even the staff at the lobby struggled with English. For an international resort, this was frustrating and unexpected.

I don’t normally write reviews, but based on our recent experience, I owe it to the staff to share this. We have visited Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos at least 10 times over the last five years. We have gone through every phase of life here: dating, getting married on-site, and now returning with our parents and two little girls.
We keep coming back because it is safe, welcoming, and fun, but this specific trip was unbelievable. Usually, we have a list of pros and cons; this time, we truly couldn’t pinpoint a single negative.
The Service (Above & Beyond) While the employees are always respectful, this trip they anticipated our needs before we even asked.
Concierge: Carlos was attentive to every detail. He brought milk to our room for our babies so it was there for nap times—we never even requested this, he just saw a way to make our lives easier. Xochil was also amazing, helping us set up cabanas, babysitting, and family pictures.
Pool Team: Edgar, Juan, and Genero worked their tails off running around to ensure we were taken care of.
Dining: Chef Israel, as well as Mario and the Chef at Mahika (the Indian restaurant), were genuinely interested in our family. They didn't just serve food; they connected with us.
Front Desk: Antonio made check-in and checkout seamless.
Family & Wellness The resort has really stepped up regarding health and family amenities.
For Kids: The Kids Club is fantastic. We loved the "drop off" option, but also the dedicated times where we could play with our toddlers in the facility (fully stocked with crafts, slides, and ball pits). The beach is also set up perfectly with a fenced-off toy area where the kids spent hours.
Babysitting: We used the certified babysitting service to put the kids to bed so my wife and I could enjoy a confident, stress-free dinner alone.
Health: The new gym is beautiful. We enjoyed the pickleball, beach sports, and the new fresh juice/smoothie shack—perfect for a nutritious breakfast.
A Wish List for Future Visits Since we love this place so much, we had two ideas that would make it even better:
Kids Food Cart: A cart serving hot dogs or ice cream right near the kids' play area would be a huge hit. It’s a bit of a walk to the grill for little ones!
Evening Atmosphere: We’d love to see a "come and go" style entertainment option for adults—like a dueling piano bar or acoustic guitarist—rather than just the theater shows or the Sports Bar.
Thank you to the Hyatt Ziva team for making my daughter feel like a princess for her 3rd birthday and for giving us our best trip yet. We will be back!

We had an incredible stay at the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, and I cannot recommend this resort enough! The grounds are beautiful, the vibe is relaxing, but what truly makes this place stellar is the food and the staff.
The dining experience was a major highlight for us. The Italian restaurant was hands down the best restaurant on the property—the food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. We also loved Casa Cortez right by the beach; there is nothing better than enjoying a meal with that ocean view and the sound of the waves.
However, the service is what puts this resort over the top. I have to give a special shout-out to the team who looked after us:
Carlos (Bell Boy): He set the tone for the whole trip with a warm welcome and great assistance right when we arrived.
Miguel (Pool Service): He was attentive and ensured we never had to lift a finger while relaxing by the pool.
Manuel (Azure Bar): He is fantastic working with the bartenders to come up with amazing cocktails!
Sergio (Mahika Restaurant): He went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable.
If you are looking for a vacation where you are treated like royalty, book Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. We will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful resort with updated rooms in one building, decent food, and great service.
But… the loud, thumping music around the kids’ splash zone makes no sense. It is disruptive and makes it impossible to relax or nap with your child in any room facing that area. The same issue happens with the rooms facing the main pool during the loud scheduled music. I don’t understand this at all — this is a family resort, not a Hard Rock Café.
I’m here for another three nights and have not been able to feel relaxed one bit. The front desk tried to help and offered to relocate us, but the room faced the same loud zone on the ground floor. They also offered an ocean-view room in the older building for an additional $336 for three nights. We saw it, but it felt like a downgrade and packing up to move again would have been a major inconvenience.
Room service brought slimy, spoiled fruit once, and the same happened at the buffet. The ceviche and guacamole are great, but the rest of the food is a hit or miss. I’m sticking to seafood because the meat has been consistently tough — chicken breast, beef, and pork.
Overall, I don’t see the value or the relaxation I was hoping for for my family. I would not return.
Update: This is a beautiful resort with updated rooms in one building, decent food, and truly exceptional service. I previously mentioned how loud the music was around the kids’ pool area and how it affected our ability to relax in our room. The noise was still an issue during most of our stay, but on our last day the Chief Concierge personally spoke with us and was extremely polite, kind, and responsive. They even adjusted the pool music volume that afternoon, which made a noticeable difference.
I really want to highlight how attentive and professional the staff are here—room service is always on time, they respond quickly to any request, and overall the service is genuinely excellent. If we return next year, I will definitely request a quieter room, as that was the biggest miss of our vacation.
Aside from the noise concerns, this is a wonderful family-friendly resort with outstanding service

We visited the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos the week before Thanksgiving, and it was perfect! The resort wasn't busy or loud, we were able to find seats by the pools each day, and our kids loved taking advantage of the Kids Club for activities and making friends. The view of the Sea of Cortez was stunning, the sand was soft and warm, and the drinks were endless and refreshing.
We highly recommend visiting Dozo for dinner and make sure you request Sergio as your chef, he was awesome! You also have to visit Mahika for the best Indian food and cocktails, I highly recommend a Coconut Raj and Sake Rice Cooler to go with the Lamb Rogan Josh.
There are so many activities and events throughout the day that there is sure to be something for the whole family. On the 4th floor is a very nice, and clean, gym with workout classes as well as every machine you could need.
Most importantly, the staff make sure to take care of your every need, and they truly made our trip an amazing experience. The only issue we ran into was that when we used our Capital One points to book a room it wasn't a room available at the resort and unfortunately because of two weddings happening at the same time we were visiting we weren't able to get the room we thought we had booked. The staff did everything they could to try and make it right and they upgraded us to the premium club experience to make up for it. Moral of the story, don't use Capital One to book your trips.
